The Left and its Islamic supremacist allies have wholeheartedly embraced the notion that any criticism of Rep. Ilhan Omar is incitement to violence. Their criticism of Donald Trump, however, including their open calls for violence against him and his supporters, is not incitement to violence. Nor is their criticism of foes of jihad terror who have been targets of violence. It only works one way, as the freedom of speech, the foundation of any free society, continues to slip away.
“Yemeni Corner Store Owners Are Boycotting the ‘New York Post’ for Attacks on Rep. Ilhan Omar,” by Hannah Lifshutz, Common, April 13, 2019 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
The New York Post has been the subject of extensive criticism in recent days, after the Rupert Murdoch-owned publication ran an offensive cover story targeting Representative Ilhan Omar. Critics have denounced the newspaper’s inflammatory coverage as islamophobic and an attempt to delegitimize one of the first Muslim women to be elected to Congress.
On Thursday, the Post published a photo of the Twin Towers, engulfed in flames following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, with the caption, “Rep. Ilhan Omar: 9/11 was ‘Some people did something,'” above a subhead that read, “Here’s your something … 2,977 people dead by terrorism.” The quote the newspaper was referencing was an isolated excerpt from a speech Rep. Omar gave at a banquet hosted by the Council on American-Islamic Relations last month.
“Far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and frankly, I’m tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it,” she said. “CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.” According to NPR, CAIR was founded in 1994.
On Saturday, the Yemeni American Merchants Association, which represents thousands of Yemeni-American bodega owners across New York City, penned a letter to announce that they will no longer distribute the New York Post. In the statement, the organization argues that the tabloid’s provocative cover story, “aims to harm Omar and her family and other people of the Islamic faith.”
The group also stated that this type of inflammatory coverage puts the safety of the entire Muslim-American community at risk. “This rhetoric threatens the safety and wellbeing of Omar, Muslim leaders, and the larger Muslim American community at a time when Islamophobia is at an all-time high,” it said in a statement….
Steve says
The Post should print a list of the “patriotic” Yemeni corners stores, so its readers can avoid them, like the plague.
bob kelly says
Steve is right boycott the corner stores they want to boycott the post. They would boycott your job if they could, when these muslim are in a position to hurt the infidel they will, when they think they have the infidel under their thumb .

Muslims can’t have it both ways you can’t say her comments about 9/11 or the school boys is ok but people can’t question her.
Olli Hekkala says
They are “best of people”. They are above criticism.
BTW. does anyone know do Islam teaches anything about word “sorry”, or that kind of concepts? I bet they are not sorry for 9/11. As I recall, catholic church have apologized crusades. Of course it would be too much to ask Muslim follow christian morale. But it is interesting area to explore: what do you want Muslims to apologize? There are a lot. Then when you have make them feel some guilty, and heard their words, you can forgive them or not. Of course Christians are told to love enemies and forgive them, but it is nice and very productive perspective to make Muslim feel some guilty.
Olli Hekkala says
What do do think, should we, when we hang the Sword of God, guilty, above their head, also offer our redeemer Jesus Christ and his Gospel? I think we should, other ways we just judge them to hell, here and afterlife, without way to true redemption. They just deny guilty and hang on Islam otherwise.
revereridesagain says
Don’t ask me, Olli, I’m just an eeeeeevil “godless” person, but Islam explicitly states that Muslims should be merciful to each other but merciless to us “unbelievers”, who are hated by their god as the worst of people. I’m afraid wringing an genuine acknowledgement of guilt from a Muslim for anything done to a kafir is unlikely.
Victoria says
If they don’t like living in a free country for all people perhaps they should go back the the sandpit they came from. CAIR has been the mouth piece for Muslim dominance in Europe and Britain. Now they are intent on dominating Americans here in our own country. Stop CAIR now!.
Westman says
At first it seemed that her gaffes were simply naivety as a newcomer to big time politics. The 9/11 blow-off, after all the Israelophobic comments, has reached a threshold that Americans won’t forget. Choosing to become a polarizing figure, while still a Jr member of Congress, displays poor comprehension, sensitivity, and wisdom.
Perhaps we should be thankful that she continues to place herself in the news and that CAIR is unaware that her shadow of Israelophobia is casting a poor image upon them and Islam.
Omar, please, tell us more…
revereridesagain says
They are not gaffes. They are deliberate incitement to hatred of the kafir and encouragement to her fellow slaves of Allah to be equally brazen in their insults. Omar did not run for election to serve as a loyal American, but to serve the ambitions of the Ummah, as stated by the Muslim Brotherhood as part of their plan to subjugate the West.

Of course they feel safe here. They are just enraged that a newspaper would dare take issue with her sneering at murdered Americans.
Michael Garant says
She is the best thing to happen to America. Americans have this view that somehow their muslims are different from those of other countries…………hello.
Omar proves everytime she opens her mouth that that point of view is a fallacy. And to add cream to the cake……….the yemini corner store owners come in and make fools of themselves, proving who they really are. Guess they expose themselves to boycott now, at least they should be boycotted.
WPM says
Maybe get a list of stores that have the owners that belong to the “Yemini Merchant Association ” so all us non-believers can boycott them we now know they support terrorist , terror organization like CAIR , and elected congress women Omar. If there were a group of store owners who all belong to the KKK ,or a Nazi organization I would boycott them in the same way.
Troy Laarman says
As an ever skeptical person I took the time to listen to her whole speech…she started with the lie that cair was founded after 911..I looked it up…1994 cair founded in USA, then she says some people did something…like just some random people with no ties to any nation or religion? I looked that up.. Sept 11 attacks perpetrated by islamic jihadi hijackers…lies and the omition of any responsibility of the islamic Idealogy behind such attacks on any scale. She spoke of community, and how the Islam the “people” outside protesting the event wasn’t the Islam she knows..more lies..wake up and smell the coffee honey. Islam is what it is, and what it has been for 1400 years. A barbaric cult… Your lies don’t change the facts.
crawford421 says
She confused which WTC attack spurred the founding of CAIR. The first attack was in 1993 and the attackers were sentenced a couple months before CAIR appeared.
RichardL says
Their numbers are still small: in Europe that threat would have much more force. In the end, Muslims always will force sharia on everybody. Their allah demands it.
US citizens should see the signs and understand where this will end.
owensgate says
The “Yemeni American Merchants Association”? File this one under “Who the hell cares”.
WPM says
We should care ,it puts them in bed with CAIR and other terror supporting groups ,someone should publish a list of these store so all non-Moslem people in New York City can boycott them.

That would be… devout MUSLIMS

The people whose “prophet” said “I have been made victorious through TERROR”
{bukhari 4:52:220}
The people whose koran CURSES Christians and Jews k9:30
The people whose islamic supremacist ideology calls for enslaving humanity in islam
{Ibn Khaldun,muqqadimah}
Those people.
The Something they did:
9-11
12 October 2000 the Attack on the USS Cole in..YEMEN’s Aden harbor
26 Feb 1993 Bombing attack on the World Trade Center underground garage of the North tower 6 killed
etc
They were attacking the US in 1993!
It’s not if Yemeni muslims have every been involved in terror, right?
Perhaps in this boycott they don’t want Americans to remember that{17 USN sailors murdered R.I.P}
Note too that the attack on the USS Cole was BEFORE 9-11:some islamic people have been doing something evil for a long time now….

I don’t think you’ll ever get Omar, (Or that other what’s her name foul mouth) out, because her district is heavily Muslim and because of taqiyya, enough probably don’t abide by the one vote per person rule.
Plus, even of those who do abide by voting rules, most will probably vote via a “No matter what the Muslim candidate gets my vote.” policy.

Excerpts from Newsweek article:
“Trump Campaign Aide Blames Ilhan Omar for Death Threats ”
“I don’t think it is the president who’s putting her in danger. I think it’s her ill-thought-out words that she used to describe the greatest terror attack on the history of United States soil,” Marc Lotter, director of strategic communications for Trump’s 2020 campaign, said on Monday morning after being asked by CNN host Alisyn Camerota if the president knew he was putting Omar in danger.”
“Women’s March called for Twitter to suspend President Trump’s account. Journalist and activist Shaun King questioned Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey about Twitter’s policy and Trump’s use of the platform to target Omar”

As for the moslims boycotting ….who really cares? Is the NY Post dependent on them for their business to succeed?
BTW: Did anyone see what Cher tweeted? Mr. Trump sure liked it.

From Andrew Harrod’s Jihad Watch feature article published in 2016:
“CAIR was founded in 1994 by Nihad Awad, Omar Ahmad, and Rafeeq Jaber. The three men were linked to the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), which was established by senior Hamas operative Mousa Abu Marzook…”
And Rep. Omar states that CAIR was founded after 9/11.
She is either not well-informed or not very bright. Or perhaps both.
And she’s a US Congresswoman…

Her ignorance and stupidity are far from the worst of it. Her sneering at her coreligionists murdering Americans is the real problem.

If enough non moslims in NY avoided buying anything from a moslim business…food, clothing, carpet, etc., there would not be enough people,,,it would only be moslim customers… to keep all of these moslim businesses going.
What goes around comes around. The NY Post should put out a special edition with a front page featuring the fact that moslims want to shut down freedom of speech by everyone who does not believe as they do.
Let the people of NY decide if they want to support the paper…and freedom of speech… or want to support moslim takeover of their city, and the country, for islam.
Ashley says
The New York Post is the fourth largest newspaper in this country. It is known to be a sensational, controversial rag. YAMA’s call to boycott the Post will only hurt the bodega owners in the wallet. People will continue to read the Post and will patronize newspaper stands that sell the tabloid.

NYC: Yemeni American Merchants Association boycotting New York Post over cover criticizing Ilhan Omar
…………………
Of course these Muslim Yemeni “Americans” don’t want a paper say anything critical about a Muslim gloating over 9/11.
Kudos to the New York Post for running this story.
Lydia Church says
Exactly. According to them, a crime is only bad when it’s done to them and theirs, when it’s done to us it’s good. Public dissent, discourse and debate without violence is a bedrock of democracy. That is being quickly eroded and all that is left is a sea of chaos, violence, confusion, and mayhem.
And then it descends into civil war. But I heard somewhere that this is what they want.
Who would have thought that the day would come when being AGAINST terrorism would be criminalized???
They have become jihadis themselves by being against us.
Laura says
Why have we allowed muslims to take over taxi services and convenience stores in the west, who thought it was a good idea?
Rose Keeling says
Yup playing the victim card, as always WAKE THE HELL UP AMERICA! ITS TIME TO TAKE OUR COUNTRY, FREEDOMS, AND COUNTRY BACK!
ASSIMILATE TO US OR GET THE HELL OUT! …ENOUGH OF THIS BS, ENOUGH AND ENOUGH OF OUR LAWLESS POLITICIANS AND JUDGES SELLING US AND OUR COUNTRY OUT!
Tom says
Well isn’t that interesting. A whole group of Yemeni muslims speaking out as one. No collusion here, move along.
Seriously, the so called “moderates” and those who have supposedly integrated into the west are now claiming victim status because it was pointed out that a horrific terror attack had been diminished by a muslim member of Congress to nothing more than “some people did something”, and when the horror of the attack is pointed out, instead of siding with the nation that gave them the opportunity to leave the hell holes they were in to become successful small business owners and have freedom, they turn around and side with a subversive because she is muslim.
That my friends speaks volumes about this community and where their loyalties lay.
It is really tough for a small business to survive and, thanks to the every day American customers that use them, these Yemeni small businesses are able to make it in a very competitive environment.
Boycotts work both ways and if enough average Americans were offended by the Yemeni business owners’ response to the headline pointing out the terror attack on 9/11, then a strong message can also be sent to these business owners.
Tom says
To be absolutely clear, I am only suggesting that a boycott of those businesses, nothing more, may send a strong message of just how good they have it in the USA compared to where they came from. The wallet is a powerful way to show support for the New York Times and respect for those who died on 9/11.
Bob Builder says
Some please start a petition on Change.org to boycott these corner stores so we can all sign it. It would be nice to have a list of these merchants
