As I explained here, Movita Johnson-Harrell’s statements are in accord with Islamic law, which stipulates that Christians must make no public display of their faith.
“New Muslim Lawmaker Blames Trump, White Nationalism for Christian Prayer,” by S. Noble, Independent Sentinel, March 31, 2019 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Freshman Muslim lawmaker in the Pennsylvania state house Movita Johnson Harrell was deeply offended by a Freshman Christian lawmaker saying a typical Christian prayer which mentioned Jesus’s name about twelve times.
Movita claims the prayer was meant to intentionally harm her even though the congresswoman Stephanie Borowicz said it was not meant to offend. For her, it’s a typical prayer.
Movita blamed the President and white nationalism for the congresswoman saying a prayer. She’s nothing but a bigot.
Movita was offended by the name ‘Jesus.’ However, an imam said a Muslim prayer there and invoked the name of ‘Allah.’ We reported the original story here, on this link.
The CNN host — who thinks he has the right to tell Christians how many times lawmakers can invoke the name of Jesus — said invoking ‘Jesus’s’ name twelve times is too much…..
Alarmed Pig Farmer says
There’s an easy solution to all this. Let the lawmaking Moslima Movita say a Moslem prayer before every session also.
But there might be complains from bitter gun-clinger Christians when she has the Azan piped from loudspeakers installed in the statehouse tower. But there are always complainers.
Michael Hanna says
Islam is a political ideology masked as a religion and Christianity is not.
Jayell says
Exactly the basic point here. Muslims are so conditioned and obsessed by the imperialist political aspect of the ideology that is their so-called ‘faith’ that they project their own aggressive supremacist attitudes onto others and create quite defamatory paranoid delusions about imagined destructive intentions of other religions that simply reflect their own rather nasty islamic mindset. I have never witnessed any Christian prayer that prescribed harm to anyone or anything, the nearest to anything negative being denouncing the Devil and Evil. By contrast, we all know about the way in which muslims are openly exhorted ‘not to take unbelievers for their friends’ and attack them in the throat, etc. etc. If musllms cannot honestly admit that any evil that they see in others originates in themselves, then it is time to give up on them. But then expecting ‘honesty’ from the Religion of Lies is simply totally unrealistic.
antonia says
51% of the texts in the Sira, Koran and hadiths are political. So, Islam is mainly a political ideology concerned with regulating the conduct of society and of the world.
The political decrees of Allah apply to everyone and Muslims are Allah’s chosen enforcers and executioners. Mohammed ran armies, wars and extorted money from his enemies.
In contrast, Jesus distinguished between church and state, between God and Caesar and had no army and started no war. Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
Mohammed is a war lord.

In order to be a member of the U.S. Congress, or of a State Congress, one MUST, BY LAW, hold the Constitution of these united States of America ABOVE ALL ELSE … and in the case of a State Congresspreson, the State’s Constitution MUST be held immediately subservient to the US Constitution … sharia MUST, BY LAW, be held somewhere below the Organic Laws of the Republic and the Constitutions of the Sovereign States, several. As a muslim, Movita Johnson Harrell, MUST hold sharia and the koran above all else – thus, she is not eligible to, nor does she hold the Office, she current occupies by FRAUD and by TREASON.
Why will you people not wake-up and realize what LAW applies and the sharia has no place in this republic.

Wind,
I have realized for a long time that muslims do not belong in the US or any other democratic country. I started noticing some odd behavior of muslims when I lived in Canada. I moved back to the US & as time passed, things got worse, and a bit scary. A close friend of my husband (an American) had worked in Saudi Arabia and told us of what the culture was in that country. I was shocked at the info he gave us. People whom I thought would want to know what was happening got annoyed with my words and predictions–until 9/11 happened. Then 3 different people said to me,”Oh my god! You were right!”
Silly me–I thought that Americans had finally wakened up. But no such luck. I now have a lot less hope that the West is going to survive if people don’t change their tune & change it fast!

Ah, yes, point the finger at a Christian because her moslim prayers are “meant to intentionally harm” Christians.
There was absolutely nothing in the prayer that could do “harm” to this fool for satan. She only says that as a way to stop other Christians from having a right to “freedom of religion” and “freedom of speech.”
How many times does a moslim say the whole “peace” thingy when they pray or even just mention the mass murderer’s name? If in a speech, they say it 30 times, they say the “peace” thingy 30 times. And what media person complains?
It’s all about making islam the only religion with any freedoms. It’s all about stopping Christians from praying, speaking about Jesus, and having freedom of worship.
omar and tlaib are working in the House to oppress the Jews in this country and this ugly moslim is doing her bit for the PA legislature.
And, it is offensive to even see written the name of their fake ‘god” and their “false prophet.” Much more so to hear any of them say those words. They are both words for satan, anyway.

As long as it is “okay” for Muslims to give a pray repeatedly invoking Allah, it is equally appropriate for a Christian to say the name of Jesus. I personally am SICK and TIRED of those Muslims who think they are in their homeland and rule the roost here. Either abide by OUR Constitution or go home where you can do whatever you like, say whatever you want and make demands of others. Here many of us worship Jesus Christ and we have the right to pray, using his name as often as we like.

The US was founded as a Christian nation and, though many of the founding fathers were Deists, they would never have objected to prayers in the name of Jesus. Their intention was to create a Christian nation that was tolerant. That’s what the US is. Islam is very intolerant as we see in the treatment of minorities in ALL Islamic countries.
Rhiannon says
You get it, infidel. I personally have never known a Hindu in this country to complain of being offended by Christian prayer or hearing the name of Jesus. It’s never happened to my knowledge. So why do some Muslims have to moan and complain like they own this country? Some public schools have had children participate in Muslim worship for “cultural learning”. BS!! That NEVER occurred for Christians or Jews. Neither were children asked to prayer the Rosary or read the Bible.
If you want to give them “prayer rooms” in your schools or places of business, then you had better be ready to allow for chapels for practicing Christians or Jews to study Scripture, meditate and pray as well. It is about time we stop pandering to specific groups just because we are afraid they will blow things up or otherwise have a hissy fit. If you want to live in a multicultural society, live and LET LIVE. And for heaven’s sake, get a fricking life!

Movita JH:
“…and also we need to recognize that there is so much ignorance in the world and a lot of people don’t even realize how significant Jesus is in Islam”
…..
I suspect Movita reached the end of her rope when Borowicz’s said:
“Lord, thank you that he (Trump) stands beside Israel unequivocally, Lord.”
Any muslim worth their salt would take offense, right? Or is Movita “ignorant” of what is most significant in her creed?
One muslim apologist says:
“There is a saying of the Prophet: God does not look at your appearance, but instead looks at your heart. So if you have a Christian who is kind and honest and a Muslim who is not, you can say, even from an Islamic perspective, that the Christian is qualitatively a better Muslim than the Muslim.”
Looks like there’s a chance for Jesus – even if you consider him a Jew or Christian!
Rhiannon says
Interesting, Carol. That quote, supposedly from the Prophet originally, was actually from the Bible which pre-dated anything written by the “prophet”. When Samuel was about to anoint David King of Israel, he hesitated before Eliab, Jesse’s son who was king-like in appearance. But the Lord told him this was not the one he had chosen to succeed Saul, whom he had rejected.
1Samuel 16:7
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for the Lord sees not as man sees; man looks on the outward appearance but the Lord looks on the heart.” (RSV-CE),
Apparently, the Muslims borrowed a wise saying from the Hebrew Scriptures. Ironic, is it not? 🙂
Carol the 1st says
That expression “qualitatively better muslim than a muslim” is another designed attempt to steal the psychological holy rug out from under the feet of others. The implication is that Islam is the warp and woof of the world’s spirituality. Thanks but no thanks. No takers here.

Once again the eternal victims, Muslims, are offended and victimized by what was once a nation founded on Judeo-Christian principles. Hence, under the jurisprudence of the Democratic Party, Sharia Law will expeditiously eclipse the Republic’s Constitution. One does not need to possess a sense of prescience to foresee the future of America when it is underfoot of the complicitous Democrats and Islam.
Movita Johnson Harrell’s sense of offensiveness by the Lord’s Prayer is not an anomaly among Muslims; it, also, offends the godless, antisemitic, anti-Christian Democrats. Moreover, the day nears when Christians, Jews or other faiths, excluding Islam, shall be forced to worship underground. One’s religious beliefs and one’s Constitutional Rights are in jeopardy but will face abolishment if and when the Democrats and its Globalist, and Islamist allies regain power.

There is a law on the books in NC that if a woman says yes, and then says no, but the guy keeps going, it isn’t rape. It’s “consensual.”
In most States, if the woman says yes and then says no, the guy must stop or be charged with rape.
So, people are pointing out that a rapist in NC will claim that the woman said yes before she said no…even if she didn’t. That way, he can say it’s consensual. And how can she prove otherwise?
And some years ago in NJ, a woman said her husband raped her, but the judge said because the rapist was a moslim, it wasn’t rape. Another court had to reverse the ruling.
A woman in FL was raped and hired an attorney to sue the rapist. There was a lot going on and another attorney says the woman owes him money. A judge said no she didn’t, but the attorney is going after the victim for “his share.”
Victims of rape generally have a hard time proving it. And they can never forget that it happened.
If the new Equality Act passes, all American women and girls will be in trouble.

Another Muslim claiming victim-hood. Meanwhile, in EVERY Muslim-majority nation non-Muslims are not equal under the law—per Islamthink, only the degree being a variable.
What crybabies and hypocrites Muslims are. Parasites too. What’s worse, far worse, is that theirs is the only major faith that allows its believers in this world to use force to spread their creed across the world “until all religion is with Allah.” {Sura 8:39}
It’s that “third threat” I’ve mentioned many times here at JW. You gettin’ any of this, lebel?
Bottom line: Islam stinks. Always has. Always will. And why it deserves to be put on the trash heap of history once and for all.
Finally, any black being a Muslim is evidence of extra ignorance since Islam engaged in the traffic of black slaves for some eight centuries before the Western world did AND 1) Christianity’s founder owned no slaves, contra Mohammed; 2) Mohammed, who himself owned black slaves, referred to blacks derisively as “raisinheads,” “pug-nosed creatures” and other rot along these lines; 3) the Western world was the first civilization to realize that slavery of any kind was wrong to its core and took numerous measures to end this iniquitous institution, including fighting a brutal civil war in America in part to do so; 4) the West has profusely apologized for its role in black slavery; and 5) to this day the Islamic world has NEVER apologized for its role in black slavery—indeed it still goes on in the Islamic world as typical of Islam being an excuse for Arab supremacism over not only blacks but all non-Arabs—and one knows this by now or should know it.
Show me a Muslim and I will show you a confused human being. Show me a black Muslim and I will show you an extra confused human being—like the doofa in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

There are very serious differences between Islam and Christianity. To the Muslims, hearing that Jesus Christ is God and hearing that he died on the Cross and Arose again from the dead is very offensive to Muslims. So I can understand why the Pennsylvania State Congress Person who is a Muslim very upset. The Jesus of Islam is just another prophet who came before Muhammad.
gravenimage says
Worse than that, David.
The main role of “Jesus” (“prophet Isa”) in Islam is to murder Christians in the last days.
Wellington says
The Jesus of Islam has been appropriated by Buttlims as much as the Judeo-Christian deity has been appropriated by them. In each instance, the appropriation has bastardized the original conception and is replete with parasitism.
Fitting, since Islam bastardizes and parasitically uses everything it touches, including freedom, equality under the law, women’s rights, the Golden Rule, a live and let-live attitude, graciousness (when has a Muslim ever been gracious to the West for allowing millions of Muzzies to seek refuge from the Islamic hell-holes they have fled?), et al.
Islam is a burden to all mankind. Sure wish by now the elites in the West would have figured this out, but they’re too educated (N.B., being educated is not the same often times as acquiring wisdom) and willfully ignorant to get what Islam intends for all of the human species. Thus, the race “to the finish” continues, i.e., whether Islam will win out or Islam will be effectively destroyed. One thing is for certain and that is, long term, no via media can work. Either Islam is relegated to insignificant status or the West is. Verdict still out but right now not looking good for the West—and EVERY TIME any person, Muzzie or non-Muzzie, uses the term, “Islamophobia” seriously, chalk up another win for the barbarism which is Islam and not for freedom.
antonia says
Very insightful, Wellington. I like the way you are thinking here. I would say that Islam not only ‘bastardizes’ the quotations of other religions (Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Manicheanism, and Christianity and Arab polytheism) as it PLAGIARIZED them all … Islam CANABALIZES them, by ripping an arm off one, a leg off another, a nose and ear off a third, and a head off of one of the Arabian war gods. The end result is an animal ‘built-by-committee’ constructed of parts that do not belong together.
You sound tense, Wellington. Go and have a beer, and remember what Ben Franklin said, ‘Wine is the proof that God loves us and wishes us to be happy.’ Muslims are in a joyless jail.
KWJ says
Why should they be offended by hearing Jesus when Muhammad recognized him as a prophet and Jesus is in the Qur’an (Isa or Iesa is fake Jesus’s name in the Qur’an.) In the Qur’an “Jesus” pledges his allegiance, or more precisely, Muslims submit to Allah. They don’t like Jesus as the Son of God business, but Muslims claim to love them.
Probably what gets to them is that they know Jesus is Christian, Islam took the Judeo-Christian stories and all the things Jesus said and did are not in the Qur’an. Jesus didn’t die for their sins. They are not the same Jesus.
CNN saying that saying Jesus 12 times is a bit much? Who cares how many times. CNN should care more about this systemic problem many Muslims have…they are not pluralistic. Who voted for this woman?

This incident illustrates once again why religion and politics do not mix. But all too often we see this ‘my god is better than your god’ argument in what should be a forum for the rational discussion of public policy.
From long experience with both religion and politics, I’ve learned that most religious people – of all stripes – have a very low tolerance of anyone who does not believe in their particular supernatural view of the world. And politicians who are deeply religious are the worst of all – having had a double dose of indoctrination. Both religion and politics are both highly emotional in their beliefs and practices, and largely rely on opinions rather than facts. No religion – not one – can produce any conclusive proof of the existence of a deity, or the divine nature of any of its tenets or commandments. That’s why religions are called faiths – ie belief without proof. Every religion – without exception – is simply the product of the human imagination! Some religions like Islam, are much worse than others. Islam is actually more political than religious, and does not deserve the protection of religious freedom under the Constitution.
People often associate political views with religious beliefs – and the most common is that Leftists are atheistic, and those on the Right are god-fearing Christians. But this is completely erroneous. There are many people on the Left who are deeply religious, and many on the right (including me) who are atheists. That’s why we have those ‘freedom of religion’ clauses in our Constitutions – so people can live in relative peace, no matter what they believe, without continually fighting against each other. But the situation has been made worse because politicians have allowed Muslims – whose covert agenda is to subjugate and overthrow all other religions and cultures – to immigrate to our countries.
Sadly, our legislators have not yet had the political will and courage to challenge this pernicious ideology. Firstly most politicians are clueless about Islam and believe the Muslim propaganda that it is a ‘religion of peace’ (like George W Bush after ‘9/11’). Secondly, they are so intent on protecting their own religious freedom, that they treat all religion like a sacred cow, and have allowed Islam to impose itself on our society. And now we are seeing the results of this stupidity; and it will only get a lot worse before it gets better.
I don’t impose my non-belief in the supernatural on anyone else, and I won’t accept anyone imposing their religious views on me – or preaching those views in a public forum like a parliament. Nevertheless, I still believe in religious freedom, except for religions which preach violence against others. They are criminal ideologies and have no place in a civilized society.

And Spencer asked, “How did the Christians ‘despise Islamic teachings’?”
As Robert explained there, such was done tacitly—by the open actions and declarations of the Christians.
For the same reasons, US Lawmaker, Movita Johnson-Harrel called Rep. Stephanie Borowicz’ spotlighted prayer “blasphemy.”
Because, “from Islamic standards,” it was.
Because, in brief, in declaring Jesus to be all the Borowicz declared he was, was to declare, Muhammad a liar, the book he brought, falsehood.
And to do so, from the Islamic perspective, is blasphemy.

This IMO also pertains to the question of her ultimate loyalty. She is now a lawmaker. Her ultimate loyalty should be to her country, over and above loyalty to her religion. At the very least her position on ultimate loyalty should be clear.
(Many) Democrats, Journalists, Pundits pretend that inside a country there are multiple faits and convictions. And seen that way Muslims are a minority. This is the national view.
But there is also a global view. If it becomes clear that Muslims have ultimate loyalty to the UMMAH, all the Muslims in the world, then the picture that emerges seems to me:
Inside big religions there are countries!
And between those countries there is no reciprocity between the tolerance of the Christian and Muslim countries.
If this women has ultimate loyalty to the Ummah and if that would be acknowledged, then in an worldwide religious overview it could immediately be recognized that her complaint very much pales in comparison to how Muslims offend Christians! As they offend followers of other religions and Atheists too.
In this worldwide context the alleged bad attitude by pres. Trump and followers, so called “white supremacists” also pales in comparison to the arrogance of the Muslim supremacists on their turf.
In general I am much more in favor of looking at interfaith relations in a global context than of looking at it in a myopic national context.
To me only in a national context view, and if this woman swears real ultimate loyalty to country, not faith, only then her complaint would be valid and then I would be in favor to have a serious discussion about it (for if the other side does concessions that should be rewarded).

It was a communication between a human being and the Diety.
Religious freedom.
What was there to get upset about?
And who is authorized to determine
which words are repeated and how may repetitions?
Joy Designs says
Allah is not listening,
no matter the repetitions.
He doesn’t care to listen.

Aaaaah. I knew it was just a matter of time.
Lumping together anything ‘Christian’, especially something the public did not ‘appreciate,’ along with ‘white nationalism’ and ‘Trump’ and you have the toxic mixture they were trying to concoct. Then, anyone exhibiting any sign of Christianity can be, in the accuser’s illogical minds, linked with but not limited to: racism, white supremacism, white nationalism, the KKK, imperialism, anti-immigration, anti-open border policies, nationalism and national sovereignty, religious exclusivity, and everything people love to hate about Trump. Not that all of these things are ‘bad,’ some or most of them are 100% good (hint: not the racism), but the fact is that the media has hypnotized and indoctrinated the masses into hating all of these things, so they hate them, and the reaction will be the same either way. As a result, they hate us and anyone who stands for any one of these things. They will also lump it all together in the false and illogical way that they do, for instance, if you are a ‘blank’ therefore you must also be a ‘blankety-blank’ etc. Then somewhere down the road is the label of ‘public enemy’ and ‘extremist’ and ‘terrorist’ under ‘pre crimes’ and off you go to the camps… their plans and blueprints have been on the drawing boards for a very long time and we are seeing these things come to fruition one stepping stone at a time as the links are falsely created to accuse us.

Rubiconcrest, good chance we both know sharia law,, like most of us, we already have clues to what he might say, something akin to asking for help and strength to spread the doctrine to aid their warfare against the infidels. It would be interesting to have an interpreter for arabic if he stated the prayer in Arabic, to find the double meaning word to deceive.
I actually found the immediate response (clip on internet) interview on CNN)by Motiva when asked if she was offended, very calm, not very accusatory, and low key, but then slowly, as that is the usual case, was offended the prayer and Trump was to blame?
Maybe the Lords’ Prayer would have been slightly softer,.. “lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”….

Does anyone hear church bells on Sunday anymore? Sharia law warning signs.

Well I’m offended by her and her bull shit religion of terror and hate. If she loves Islam then pack up and go back to the shit hole islamic countries. I’ll buy her ticket.
UNCLE VLADDI says
Christianity pre-dates islam, so there’s nothing in it which specifically, precisely refers to islam.
And even the most applicable part – where Jesus calls proto-islam “dog-food” – is only one line!
Therefore, all of their butt-hurt whining about Christianity being “offensive” is subjective opinion.
Rhiannon says
“And even the most applicable part – where Jesus calls proto-islam “dog-food” – is only one line!” Where is this line? Where and when did Jesus call Islam anything? I’ve never heard this before. Can you cite the source for this?

Movita claims the prayer was meant to intentionally harm her. The unclean spirit was complaining about the Exorcism.
These Muslims seem more and more like undead Satanic Spirits everyday.

“Mitchell: Jesus would like what Movita Johnson-Harrell does
This is what made the angry screed masquerading as a prayer by state Rep. Stephane Borowicz (R) last week, when Johnson-Harrell was sworn in as a state representative, both despicable and appalling.”

This guy claims to be Christian. His article is much like what the moslim had to say. And he has no problem with what harrell said.
And a woman in Arizona has been fired because of writing something about the moslim wearing her ugly scarf in the government building.
