“The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, which investigated the case, told The Associated Press that Hamed didn’t have any contacts with recruiters for terrorist groups and instead was self-racialized [sic] through his research of the Islamic State and radical groups.”
But what about his mosque? Hamed expressed annoyance with it: “At my mosque we allowed non muslim women to enter in the mosque without a hijab just so we could give them the impression that we are a ‘peace loving’ faith.”
All right, but what was and is taught there when the kuffar go home? Was the mosque investigated? Why not?
“Police: Man spread terror propaganda before officer attack,” by Jacques Billeaud, Associated Press, June 21, 2019:
PHOENIX (AP) — An 18-year-old Islamic State follower who was shot after throwing rocks at and wielding a knife toward a police officer in metro Phoenix earlier this year had used text messages to spread terror propaganda to a friend, according to documents released by authorities.
Ismail Hamed sent a friend links to al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden’s declaration of jihad, a video of U.S.-born militant cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and texted a photo of the gunman in the 2016 Florida nightclub massacre with a message saying, “Never forget Orlando.”
In other texts, he alluded to the Columbine High School shooting in 1999, bemoaned the effect of Western secularism on Islam and said he had read accounts of prisoners jailed at the Guantanamo Bay detention center, according to records from the investigation released on June 14 at the request of prosecutors.
Investigators say Hamed was gradually embracing extremist ideologies in the four months before the Jan. 7 attack outside a sheriff’s substation in Fountain Hills, which is 30 miles (48 kilometers) northeast of Phoenix.
Three weeks before the attack, Hamed texted a friend that the afterlife was all that mattered and that he didn’t need anyone but Allah to survive.
On the day of the attack, Hamed told a 911 operator that he pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, was armed with rocks and a knife, and wanted to meet face-to-face with an officer. He told the operator that he wanted to protest suffering in the Middle East.
Body-camera video of the encounter shows that when a sheriff’s sergeant asked for Hamed’s identification, Hamed started throwing rocks at him, leading the officer to pull out his handgun and point it at Hamed, who then drew a knife and walked toward the sergeant.
The officer shot Hamed, who survived his injuries, after Hamed ignored a warning to drop the knife….
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, which investigated the case, told The Associated Press that Hamed didn’t have any contacts with recruiters for terrorist groups and instead was self-racialized [sic] through his research of the Islamic State and radical groups….

Hezbollah is estimated to have 40,000+ terror agents operating outside of Iran by our DOJ. They have a strong in Mexico and Venezuela, is this one of them? Probably not, if he was he would have shot up a Kindergarten class or a Nursing home filled with the demented, not Cops.

Hi Paul,
I live near the US-Mexico border. It’s like being in a hot zone. Not only are people coming across with all kinds of illnesses, we have no idea who they are or where they are from. They offer translators at the clinic for about 50 different countries to the people who are crossing. Terrorists could easily enter from Mexico, especially if they have knowledge of Spanish.

The jihad mindset is infiltrating every aspect of Western society, from throwing rocks to political and educational subversion, to murder. And that scares me. It doesn’t take a four star psychic to know where this is headed. I see an incremental destruction of our society and morals for islam as muslims’ power and violence increases. We’ve seen already the horrifying effects in Europe of unchecked immigration and leftist policies destroying liberties and security for islam. Muslims have brought their misogynistic, anti-Western sentiments to practically every Western nation and it’s literally killing us. I know that as muslim intimidation and murder intensifies so will the pressure by the political left to appease the enemy with unhealthy concessions that will destroy the West’s peace and freedoms. And we should be aware of sneaky excuses like the following that expose the conciliatory and groveling missteps to appease muslims,
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, which investigated the case, told The Associated Press that Hamed didn’t have any contacts with recruiters for terrorist groups and instead was self-racialized… [sic]
Okay, let’s get something straight here, no muslim terrorist “self radicalizes.” They are all influenced by their religion’s violent teachings along with the bigoted traditions that typically permeate their community, their religious teachers, and their family. To say that they self radicalize is to place the entire blame on the effect while ignoring the principal cause.
All this reminds me of how important TRUMP is in 2020. He is exceptional in my opinion for being one of the few politicians to speak the bloody truth about islamic jihad and the hatred/intolerance so many muslims have for Western values and freedoms. It’s an ugly truth to be sure, but one that needs to be spoken of. I wish wholeheartedly that Trump had the intellect of a Robert Spencer or a Geert Wilders, but the fact that he doesn’t isn’t going to discourage me from voting for him. It is my belief that a “C” student with a good heart and right intentions is worth far more than a crafty “A” student that would destroy our peace and freedoms for a devilish creed. Trump’s approach seems simple enough to me, them bad–we good. No excuses for evil ideologies that pretend to be a religion, no talking nice about something that wants us dead. Just plain, old fashioned goodness wrapped up in a very simple package. Thanks Mr. President, for caring about America and her freedoms. That’s what a president is supposed to do.

……………….
This should surprise no one. And yes–his Mosque, family, and all known associates should be investigated.
Then–this guys a teenager? He looks 35. If he is an immigrant, his age should be checked.

This is a textbook case of JIHAD-TERRORISM.
Ismail Hamed loved the very popular sermons of jihad-preacher Anwar al-Awlaki.
Those sermons are disseminated among jihadists world-wide.

“Investigators say Hamed was gradually embracing extremist ideologies….”
Are those “extremist ideologies” different from Islam?
Do the investigators even know?
Or are they like the English judges who think the Koran is a book of peace, and that killing a kafir soldier is a betrayal of Islam?
Learning Curve Needed.

That’s a good point. His motives were clearly grounded in the traditions and doctrines of islam, yet they tell us he “self-radicalized,” which is just a wily way of distancing the jihadist from his islamic motivations. His motivation to commit terror was not something that evolved inside himself independent of external influence. His motive was allah and his religion and the Islamic State, his own words make this clear to me. The Sheriff’s office said he didn’t have any contacts with recruiters for terrorist groups, but I say that he did. He must have had contact with islam’s biggest terrorist recruiters, muhammad and allah. And that should concern us all, because a billion+ muslims are guided by those same teachers of immorality and crime.
