The jihad against the Jewish State of Israel was apparent at its birth in 1948 and has continued under the mandate of the PLO, the Hamas, Palestinian Authority and Fatah Charters. Islamic antisemitism is rooted in doctrinal teachings.
Despite historic and escalating Islamic antisemitism….
Far-left Democrats in California have put forth draft resolutions fiercely critical of Israel ahead of this weekend’s state party convention, including one suggesting that the Israeli government is partly responsible for the atmosphere inspiring last October’s massacre at a Pittsburgh synagogue.
Caroline Glick reported along similar lines in Breitbart ….
The truly unsettling aspect of some of these groups’ slanders of President Trump is that they themselves work to legitimize and advance the fortunes of antisemitic terrorists who murder Jews.
J Street, for instance has been a leading voice accusing Trump of responsibility for the massacre in Pittsburgh. Two days after the attack, J Street, which bills itself as “pro-Israel and pro-peace,” sent out an email about the event to its supporters. J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami opened the letter with a nice call to “come together in support of the victims, their loved ones, the congregation and the entire city of Pittsburgh,” and “to grieve and comfort one another, standing together in solidarity.”
But then he turned to the real business at hand. Ben-Ami insisted that the gunman, Robert Bowers, was “motivated in part” by “by anti-immigrant, antisemitic thought that has been spread not only by far-right groups, but by President Trump and some of his allies in the Republican party.”
Ben-Ami provided no evidence for his incendiary claim. And he ignored the fact that Bowers had expressed hatred for Trump specifically due to the President’s friendship and support for the Jewish people and Israel.
Having made his unsupported accusation, Ben-Ami proceeded to make a pitch for donations for J Street and for Democratic candidates supported by J Street.
Whereas there is no evidence that Trump has incited or empowered or otherwise engaged in actions that provided any support for Bowers, there is direct evidence that Ben-Ami and his organization have tolerated antisemitic mass murderers.
Just a week-and-a-half before the massacre in Pittsburgh, on October 17, Ben-Ami and the senior J Street leadership met with and expressed support for the leaders of the Palestinian Authority (PA) in Ramallah. Among those they met was the PA’s Minister of Civil Affairs, Hussein al-Sheikh.
As Stephen Flatow reported, before assuming his current position, al-Sheikh was a senior terror commander for the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade of Fatah, the PA’s ruling faction, headed by Mahmoud Abbas. In the framework of his duties, al-Sheikh paid for and provided arms to terrorists who used the money and the arms he provided to murder and maim Jews – including American Jews.
On March 21, 2002, a Palestinian suicide bomber from the Aksa Martyr Brigades detonated in downtown Jerusalem. Three people were killed in the blast, including Tzippi Shemesh, who was five months pregnant with twins. A hundred people were wounded. As Flatow relates, among the seriously wounded were U.S. citizen Alan Bauer and his seven-year-old son Jonathan. Bauer was hurled twenty feet by the force of the explosion.
The disturbing article below highlights just how severely entrenched Islamic antisemitism has penetrated the Democratic party; nearing the proportions of the Labour Party in the UK.
“Far-left California Democrats want to link Israeli gov’t to Pittsburgh massacre”, The Times of Israel, June 1, 2019:
Far-left Democrats in California have put forth draft resolutions fiercely critical of Israel ahead of this weekend’s state party convention, including one suggesting that the Israeli government is partly responsible for the atmosphere inspiring last October’s massacre at a Pittsburgh synagogue.
One resolution, first reported by Fox News, calls the murder of 11 Jews by a white supremacist “the culmination of an alarming re-emergence of virulent antisemitism that is a core element of historical and currently resurgent white supremacism in the United States and around the world.” The “Israeli government, along with some of its U.S. backers,” the resolution continues, “welcomed support from Christian fundamentalist and ultra-right groups in the United States and abroad, dangerously ignoring their deeply rooted antisemitism while aligning with their virulent Islamophobia.”
That platform resolution was authored by David Mandel, a state Assembly delegate from the Sacramento area who Fox says holds dual US-Israel citizenship.
“The Israeli government and its supporters here seem to be embracing the right-wing and not caring what they say about anything else — Islamophobia, dog whistles for anti-Semitism,” Mandel told Fox when asked about the Pittsburgh connection. “That, I think, does indirectly lead to some of the violence.”
Other resolutions to be introduced at the San Francisco confab urge a rollback of President Donald Trump’s Israel policies, including recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights; condemn Israel for clashes with Palestinians in Gaza without mentioning provocations or attacks by the Hamas leadership there; and direct party officials to take a subsidized trip to Israel only if they spend the same amount of time visiting Palestinian communities and leaders as Israeli ones.
Mandel’s resolution opposes “all efforts to stigmatize and suppress support for Palestinian human rights by falsely conflating it with antisemitism.”
The latter is a reference to criticism of Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., who apologized after fellow Democrats and others said she had invoked several anti-Semitic tropes in her criticism of Israel.
Whether the resolutions will be debated by the full assembly of 3,000-4,000 delegates at the Moscone Convention Center is up to a Resolutions Committee. Delegates have the option of gathering 300 signatures to force a debate on the floor.
The Jewish Democratic Council of America expressed “deep concern” about the resolutions…..

J-Street’s Jeremy Ben-Ami is a totally dishonest manipulator and a transparent fraud if he has to link a self-declared Democrat Trump-hater like terrorist Bowers to white-nationalist terrorists in order to raise funds for J Street.
If Jeremy Ben-Ami is not being bribed by Muslims (a distinct possibility), he is simply fund-raising for himself.
How can Jeremy Ben-Ami support the Pally leaders who are the biggest bunch of kleptocrats after the Iranian mullahocracy. The Pally leadership are syphoning off international aid monies into their secret accounts and the Pallies get loose change.
After all the money sent to the Pallies, every single Pally should be a multi-millionaire.
The Pally leaders run a conspiracy against their own enslaved people. What a gang of international shysters.
That’s why I believe Jeremy Ben-Ami is on the take from the Pally billionaires.
Wellington says
Here in America the real enemy, the ultimate enemy, is not Islam. No, rather it is the Democratic Party which by the year is becoming increasingly unhinged and an enemy of America.
The Democratic Party of old, which stood for liberty and the rule of law (though with too much of an inclination for more government from FDR, even from Wilson, onward as this conservative sees matters) is a thing of the past. There are still faint Democratic political vapors out there, led by people like Dershowitz and Liberman and recalling the Democratic Party of a bygone era, though they are dwindling rapidly, and now the Democrats are led either by half-crazies, examples being Pelosi and Schumer, full crazies, examples being AOC and Nadler, or the completely evil, examples being Omar and Tlaib.
Compounding “the problem” is that about half of the Republican Party is utterly clueless. Such people as Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and Pat Toomey come to mind.
This is not a “good mix” for America, for the West in general, for liberty, even for sanity. Count on it and know full well that bastions of iniquity and lunacy, like Islam and what the Democratic Party of America has become, are “waiting in the wings” to take full advantage of this extreme low point in American history.
Westman says
Agree with everything you wrote, Wellington.
I once was a Democrat until they moved so far left that we had nothing in common. They literally walked away from their base and then were dumbfounded in the last POTUS election, believing that America thought the same as they. The recent angst, some call it Trump Derangement Syndrome, has Democrat candidates revealing their true feelings in an unprecedented fashion that leaves no one confused about their political view. And does it ever show a party in disarray. All they agree on is Get-Trump.
The latest CA idea was blaming anti-Semitism on Israel. With this kind of thinking they sound like Nazis. When will they be blaming Blacks for racial discrimination?
thebigW says
Wellington is nuts. Bad as they are, the Democraps aren’t one millionth as bad or as dangerous to the West (America included) as Islam is.
gravenimage says
ThebigW, I can’t speak for Wellington, but I believe he is mostly talking about the left enabling Islam–not that the left in isolation is more dangerous to us than is Islam.

These liberal ‘thinkers’ are phenomenally backward.
What when the time comes and they are faced with looking back on their idiotic denial of reality… by which time the tide of murder and mayhem is sweeping all along with it – liberal appeasers as well…
Wake up you leftists… your bleeding-heart denialism is civilising the West out of existence and you are one of us !
You will go down with the rest of us in time…
What has happened to truth ?
Read Robert Spencer’s books that reveal what is +actually happening+ and what the +cause+ of this insanity is, and you might begin to stand some chance of working against this evil scourge before it is too late.

Attacks on Jews are always completely justified and always the Jews’ own fault. It’s classic Jew-baiting and Jew-hating; it’s back in style, and playing now in the Democratic Party.
mortimer says
But renegades like Jeremy Ben-Ami make matters worse, by turning against Israel’s government which is doing the best it can in a war zone. Jeremy Ben-Ami should be forensically audited.
mortimer says
Response to EJ’s point (re Blaming the victims: i.e. ‘Jews bring it on themselves’). Islamic anti-Semitism is self-generating out of Islam’s primary source texts and would still exist no matter how irreproachably Jews behaved, because Muslims read and believe those genocide-promoting Islamic texts. I find it reprehensible that renegades like Jeremy Ben-Ami add smoke and mirrors to deflect blame from primary Islamic teachings.

Their “reasoning” is if someone supports Israel in its right to protect itself, to seek its own interests, to try to defend against its enemies, this “support” causes a murderous intent in people who exhibit anti-Semitism….and the so-called “phobia” of islam.
But….”supporting” the moslims in Israel who wish to kill all of the Jews and take over the land is perfectly okay and does not cause any problems of anti=Semitism, even when people such as sickhan omar and r tlaib make such outlandish claims as they have recently.
Evil and lying “reasoning.” There is no excuse for evil. There is no excuse for lying. Lying in support of evil…is demonic.

So was Obama-nation meddling in Israeli elections a few years back. I don’t like war, but if Israel doesn’t have a strong militaristic government, it’s finished.

ts getting so crazy and I want to do SOMETHING but what? I made a petition to change.org which has 1 signature. so far and that is all I can realistically expect. Please look it up if you can but it says something like …Stop Antisemitism being spread by teaching of Qur’an/Hadiths. one signature. well I knew it would get nothing but I just want people to think about this as well as nazigroups, KKKlan Supremacists which everyone already knows. People do not know what Islam does, YET. My once decent Dems have turned inside out since the big wealth of donors from Tech plus youngsters know we are all getting scammed by everything..republicans included, but Jihad is not what they think. I cannot believe they believe that freedom fighter bull or cannot see they are stepping in a very tight trap. Whatever……The antisemitism is dangerous now like the WW’s. I hope everyone here can speak up somehow outside this ‘safe place’.

Jule, we an all speak up. I know it gets frustrating at times.
And do you have a link to your petition?

We should stop using the term antisemitism to refer to present-day Jew-hatred on the part of Muslims. It is inaccurate in several ways: for example, because Arabs are Semites. (Yes, I know that Muslim and Arab are not synonymous . I’m just noting that many Muslims are Arabs.)
Bob says
Its all in the wording…
FAR left…FAR right…in other words, the extremes. Its ok to have differences of opinions, but it becomes intolerable when people go to the “extremes”. That goes for any government, any party, any belief. Our differences are what makes America a democracy, but when we believe in something so strongly that we no longer are capable of listening to the voice of reason, or even entertain such a notion, then all is lost. Its the proverbial “deaf ears” or “brick wall”. We see this in our own government when it “shuts down” because there is no meeting of the minds. Extremism, in anything, leaves no room for tolerance or growth. We no longer have that “middle ground” where we can agree to disagree and the cooperate together to achieve a solution.
This is our day and age. Its all around us. We are now immune to it and have joined the ranks of one extreme or the other. God pray for us all.
Jule Bacal says
People know what antisemitism is & that it is directed to Jews. They do not know Islam teaches it.
gravenimage says
Agree on both points, Jule.
