Our current state of counterterrorism is such that Robert Spencer, Steven Emerson, Patrick Poole, Dave Reaboi, John Rossomando, Stephen Coughlin, or Philip Haney would be extremely unlikely to be invited as experts on terrorism.
The wife of the Ground Zero Mosque Imam though? Sure. Come on down and tell us that ISIS supporters don’t understand Islam.
Ceasar believes Islam is disrespected in the United States and wanted to help “make Islam great again,” said defense witness Daisy Khan, of the Women’s Islamic Initiative in Spirituality and Equality, a reference to President Trump’s campaign slogan.
So we’ve got a cheap shot at Trump. But what exactly is Khan accomplishing for the defense, beyond whitewashing Islam?
Khan met with Ceasar six times at the request of defense attorneys and determined her actual knowledge of Islam was limited at best.
“She doesn’t know what much about her religion,” Khan said.
Uh-huh.
Again, why is the defense bringing in Khan to testify as to whether an ISIS supporter properly understands Islam? Is this really about helping the defendant or about allowing Khan to promote a particular narrative?

leftists like to work in government, because that’s where the power is; they’re willing to accept lower pay in order to get access to it, and as a result, there is a higher concentration of leftists in the civil service (although probably much lower in law enforcement). yes, we prevented the proven criminal, ms. clinton, from gaining power, but we are left to wonder what, if anything, mr. trump knows about islam. as far as i can tell, the prohibition of treating islamic associations as clues to follow, imposed by mr. obama, the most successful traitor in american history, has not been lifted. it looks a lot to me as if mr. trump does *NOT* have a clue about islam, other than that there is supposedly a radical version of it. and in the meantime, it’s the new boss … same as the old boss. the supposed “top of the heap” isn’t very powerful if one goes against the entrenched leftists in government.

What makes you think that government workers have to accept lower pay?
I’m familiar with numerous state & federal employees and I would LOVE to get the pay & benefits they receive.
Many leave government jobs millionaires + get a pension (equal to a LARGE portion of their pre-retirement wage – sometimes 100%), medical benefits, etc,
Some even collect more than one pension!

Just because you may not fully understand what the mafia is and how it operates, it has no bearing on the crime committed by a member of the mafia or the trial for those crimes. This “Islamophobia” ruse has gotten way out of hand and must be rejected.

“…Daisy Khan, of the Women’s Islamic Initiative in Spirituality and Equality…”
What an oxymoron – Women and equality in Islam. Do you think the defense will tell Judge and Jury that, in Islam, Khan’s testimony is only half-value?

“Ceasar believes Islam is disrespected in the United States and wanted to help “make Islam great again,” said defense witness Daisy Khan, of the Women’s Islamic Initiative in Spirituality and Equality,…”
1. Islam ‘disrespected’ in the USA? Or perhaps not receiving the grovelling deference that this person seems to think is owed to her ‘religion’ – which probably also means to persons such as herself that follow it. And that maybe also suggests a sense of being slighted by mere unbelievers who have no right their own opinions and to ignore the supremacy of islam?
2. ‘Wants make islam great again’…..like it was up until the disastrous Siege of Vienna after its rampage across Europe? Why not also make National Socialism great again after its more recent rampage across Europe? Not much difference.
3. ‘Spirituality and Equality’? Islam? If ‘spirituality’ simply mean elevating one’s lumbar tuberosities maybe these people have a point, but how does one define the term ‘equality’ here, unless this is just yet another example of muslims plagiarising and parroting Western buzz-words to con their way into Western establishments before the big takeover.
4. Daisies are such nice, delicate little flowers. isn’t there a more fitting name for the heroine of this piece? ‘Trifid’, for example?

She is the wife of Feisal Abdul Rauf, and back in 2009 they pushed for the “Ground Zero Mosque” – a project to build a mega mosque on the area destroyed during 9/11.

Feisal Abdul Rauf is a nasty piece of work–he also wrote the dishonest “What’s Right with Islam Is What’s Right with America”–which basically claims that the Constitution is “Islam compliant”.
This is a manual of stealth Jihad, and the first that I read on the subject, just a couple of years after 9/11. This was before I had even heard the term, but I knew that what he was insinuating was ugly, false, and dangerous.

But Gound Zero is the place of the famous victory of the Glorious Mujahideen against the forces of The Great Satan. Surely a mosque is a fitting monument at the site.
Meanwhile, the hateful Washington and Jefferson memorials need taking down.

“what much”?
As h. clinton so infamously asked, “What difference…at this point…does it make?”
A child coloring in a book, doesn’t have to know how crayons are made, or even of what they are made, in order to fill a page with color.
A cook doesn’t have to know how tomatoes are grown in order to slice them.
When guys in prison join the AB for protection against other prisoners, they don’t have to know that on the outside, members engage in drugs and prostitution and murder…and they can never leave alive.
A terrorist who has joined islam does not have to know all of the words in the unholy book in order to follow the orders of his imam.
Using this moslim to help “defend” a moslim terrorist…such shows the state of things presently. And the attempt to make the terrorist look good by purloining the phrase from Mr. Trump is a huge fail.

What I fail to understand is this: within the Quran are verses like 5:51, 8:12, 9:5 and others, that proclaim this unifying thought: Allah instructs Muslims to kill others who will not become Muslim and believe in Allah. So then, how come Muslims do not come to the reality that they might be worshipping a pagan god or even Satan the devil?
Can anyone offer an explanation on this?
gravenimage says
Muslims are taught that this is what Allah wants. Only a few are brave and decent enough to question this.
