Hungarian leader Viktor Orban and Canada’s Dr. Jordan Peterson met last week and “slammed Illegal Immigration as well as the ideological premise of ‘political correctness which in their view “make sensible public discussions virtually impossible”.
Peterson also said that Islam is not compatible with democracy and the issue is not “allowed to be discussed”, a message which has been repeatedly expressed by Jihad Watch.
Professor Jordan Peterson soared to popularity given his views in support of intellectual freedoms, free speech and human rights. His latest defense of free speech couldn’t have come at a better time. News emerged in Canada this week that opposition Conservative leader Andrew Scheer threw Tory MP Michael Cooper out of a House of Commons “Justice and Human Rights” committee hearing — examining online hate — after Cooper’s confrontation with a Muslim witness. Jihad Watch covered the story HERE.
The Justin Trudeau government continues its campaign–heavily advised by the National Council of Canadian Muslims (formerly CAIR-CAN)– to “crack down” on free speech in efforts to battle “Islamophobia“, which includes an expensive followup to anti-Islamophobia motion M-103. This Justice and Human Rights Commons committee hearing is an extension of M-103 by all indicators.
Meanwhile, outside of Government efforts remains (for now) the freedom of the people.
In a statement highlighting the nonsensical “Islamophobia” subterfuge, Peterson “recently faced criticism for posing in a picture with a man wearing a T-shirt with the text ‘I’m a proud Islamophobe’, an incident that cost him a fellowship at Cambridge University.”
“Islamophobia” is a term which has no place in any democracy. It is propelled by Organization of Islamic Cooperation initiatives to subvert democracies. Those who force the “Islamophobia” agenda are adamant that the word not be replaced with “anti-Muslim bigotry“, the latter of which would put Muslims on equal ground as any other faith or group. Islamic supremacists seek special treatment and they do it by wielding an invented victimology narrative, all the while covering up the gross abuses committed in the name of Islam globally.
The term “islamophobia” was defined by the National Council of Canadian Muslims as “fear, prejudice, hatred or dislike directed against Islam or Muslims, or towards Islamic politics or culture.”
Canadian citizens are now being subjected to a government hearing in which some questionable “witnesses” giving so-called “evidence” weigh in to influence the direction of rights and freedoms in Canada. These witnesses impact: what should be said, how it should be said and by whom. These government-selected “expert” witnesses (of which not all are “questionable”) decide for all Canadians on matters which pertain to Canada’s Constitution.
In addition to standing up for Canada’s Judeo-Christian democracy, I personally thank Dr. Jordan Peterson for standing up (among the many others) for me when I faced Liberal government scrutiny for writing and speaking about Islamic supremacist and jihad abuse globally…
I was subsequently fired by the Liberal government from my position as a director with the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF); a subject that was raised again during this current House of Commons committee hearing on “Justice and Human Rights“. It was raised by ‘witness’, Jasmin Zine, who has “a long record of “Islamophobia” propagandizing”, as Robert Spencer wrote HERE. It is worthwhile to note that the CRRF operates from the Department of Heritage, that same department under which M-103 emerged.
The blame for the ongoing failure to uphold democratic rights and freedoms in Canada (and elsewhere) lies with those who are themselves phobic about being deemed to be ‘racist’ and/or ‘Islamophobic’. Some populations however are waking up to truth.
A YouGov survey showed in January that nearly half of French and Germans have a perceived clash between Islam and the values of their society; similar attitudes toward Islam were shown to be held by over one-third of Britons and Americans. Moreover, according to the poll, a higher number of Western respondents tend to be particularly critical of Islam, versus other religions such as Judaism, Buddhism, and Christianity.
Hence the rise of the populist movement and the need for real experts who protect the tenets of Judeo-Christian democracy as opposed to the Sharia.
“Dangerous’: Hungarian PM Orban and Jordan Peterson Slam Illegal Immigration During Meeting”, Sputnik News, May 30, 2019:
Both the Hungarian prime minister and Canadian academic are known to be staunch opponents of the uncontrolled illegal migration that has been pouring into the EU since 2015.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with Canadian University Professor Jordan Peterson, who was attending the Brain Bar Festival in Budapest, on 30 May to discuss an array of topics. Namely, the two discussed the acute issue of illegal immigration, agreeing that it is both “unnecessary and dangerous”, Hungary today reported, citing Orban’s Assistant Under Secretary Havasi Bertalan.
Orban and Peterson also discussed contemporary political correctness, which in their opinion has made “sensible public discussions” virtually impossible. The two reportedly agreed that political correctness had been invented by a “small, ideologically driven group”.
Canadian clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson first shot to fame after refusing to use special pronouns for transgender people, but later became known as a professor with views often at odds with the mainstream, especially when it comes to free speech. He is renowned as a steadfast critic of political correctness, hard-line feminism, Marxism, and post-modernist narratives.
He recently faced criticism for posing in a picture with a man wearing a T-shirt with the text “I’m a proud Islamophobe”….

And far from his being an advocate of democracy, according to former Law Minister Zaid Ibrahim, Anwar is an Islamist who “helped Islamicise the whole government system” and played a major role in the Islamicisation of the education system when he was Education Minister in the 1980s.
As for Mehdi Hasan, he regularly whitewashes Jihad terrorism, saying it has nothing to do with Islam. Standard Taqiyya.

Janice…that’s bunkum. Dr. Peterson has taken a long time before elaborating upon his healthy initial skepticism regarding Islam. He likes to stall and say it would take years “to study it enough to understand our similarities and differences” (How surprising! To be blunt, what’s he waiting for? – a deeply-considered Al Azhar ‘moratorium’ on throwing gays off buildings or on making sure females like you don’t get loose in a ‘man’s’ world with an intact clit?).
Some of his recent comments are contained in the video below (1:19:48 to 1:25:00). It seems to me JBP is concerned about certain “religious” junkies and fools getting hyper and causing everyone to blow each other up. Meanwhile the West waits very stupidly and/or patiently.

Women’s Rights: 17 of Bottom 20 Nations Are Majority-Muslim
An in-depth 2016 analysis (The Global Gender Gap report) of all the world’s nations with respect to a whole range of women’s rights resulted in those results. The report itself did not even mention religion, but one can easily check for oneself: the bottom twenty nations in the report include seventeen that are Muslim-majority. More recent Global Gender Gap reports have the same or similar numbers. Janice, you are like the slaves who declared that slavery was actually a good thing. Jordan Peterson is hardly the only person to have noted that Islam is incompatible with democracy. Many objective observers of islam have said this. More to the point, many Muslims have said it, and if you keep your eye on this site you will see who.
William A Carr says
‘Judaism, Buddhism, and Christianity, also Hinduism’. None of these religions tries to impose their religious beliefs and systems of governance on those who are not of their faith; but the Muslims do quite vocally and without apology.

So true, William.
mortimer says
Agree. Jordan Peterson’s comment is literally true.
Islamism is described as the ideology that claims Muslims should rule the world. Since 80% of the world is non-Muslim, Islam cannot be imposed through democracy. Thus Islam is not compatible with democracy.
Islam is an imperial system of government described in Sharia law as the Caliphate or Sultanate. The caliphs are the successors of Mohammed having plenipotentiary powers in politics and religion. Caliphs are allowed to govern according to their whims as long as they enforce most of Sharia law. Perfection or even adequacy is not expected of caliphs so long as they impose Sharia law. Virtually the only way to remove a sultan from office is by assassination. A long line of sultans have been assassinated including Mohammed and most of the early caliphs. Islam is an authoritarian, non-democratic system of governance.
Clemens says
For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
2 John 7-11
If they don’t have Christ they are NOT privileged. They are NOT to be welcomed; they are NOT to be invited and NOT to be tolerated.
Carolyne says
The Muslims say just about the same thing when speaking of non-muslims. Kaffirs are not to be tolerated or invited, not to mention privileged. Odd.
Thereader says
I understand 2 John to be warning Christians about false teachers. They are not to be welcomed or listened to. He does not mean everyone outside the Christian group must be treated so badly, or how would the Gospel have been preached and spread so quickly? The Christian attitude to those who disagree or who have not heard the Gospel is certainly not the same as the Muslim attitude to non-Muslims.
Linde Barrera says
To Carolyn-Hello. I can offer an explanation regarding 2 John 10-11. My Concordance Bible has these words: “If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into the house or give him any greeting; for he who greets him shares his wicked work.” (“This doctrine” refers to the doctrine that Jesus Christ is God Incarnate and is the sin-bearer for all humanity.)
This passage has to do with being unequally yoked with any person who does not believe in Jesus Christ. Being unequally yoked means being in a relationship with someone who does not share your values.
2 Corinthians 6:14 states: “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship has unrighteousness with righteousness? and what Communion has light with darkness?
If Christians only spoke with other Christians, the Holy Gospel would never have been spoken about and explained to unbelievers. But speaking to someone is not the same as being in a relationship with them, such as a spouse, friend or neighbor.
Jim says
“If they don’t have Christ they are NOT privileged.”
And how do jews fit into your interpretation of ‘judeo-christianity’, You do know that the talmud isn’t exactly polite towards Jesus.
GROO the Wonderer says
No chance for we Buddhists either then…?
IanB says
“If they don’t have Christ they are NOT privileged. They are NOT to be welcomed; they are NOT to be invited and NOT to be tolerated.”
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
That is repulsive dangerous bigoted nonsense. That statement is as anti-democratic, anti-humanity as any bile vomited by supremacist Islam.
Carol the 1st says
Depends on how you take it (personal exegesis). If someone lacks Christian-like values it’s highly recommended to keep them out of your personal space. You deal with them then according to your own strength, need, and bounty. Linde Barrera has a more positive take on it.
KWJ says
Clemens, you are as robotic as any Islamist. A lot of former Muslims have become atheists and have no desire to rush into another religion, and on fighting against the oppression of Islam, they are more significant than you, that is, your Jesus rhetoric and people not being “privileged” if they don’t worship Jesus.
I disagree that any of this has to do with saving Judeo-Christian values but rather secular government, plurality, and equal protections under the law. The Bible doesn’t like gay people any more or less than the Qur’an, for example.
Freedom of speech is not a Judeo-Christian value. Western countries used to have blasphemy laws. In early America it took the likes of Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin to stop the Protestants and Anglicans from extorting money from other sects, some wouldn’t allow Baptist’s, etc. to vote and were treated badly. The Puritans executed Quakers. The Puritans were Islam-ish as well as the Anglicans.
America progressed thanks to these intelligent men. You sound like a Puritan. You won’t help open the eyes of those in denial by spouting off the Bible’s own supremacy tenets. I’ve read some Christians’ comments on ex-Muslim Apostate Prophet’s videos that say something like I hope you come to God’s call or something like that which is insensitive and thoughtless, or at the least, annoying.
At least atheists don’t have a bias about Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc., though some religions are better than others and many Christians and Jews have modernized *in spite* of their holy books. I mean, Mosaic law is pretty darn harsh as well as the Talmud.

Wish Prof Peterson would come out more clearly & forthrightly against Islam. Right now his very few remarks on it are tepid; he’s clearly afraid to say what he must know about pernicious Islam, but as he says, understandably, he doesn’t want Muslim enemies. Yet given his enormous following & influence, if he ever did tell the truth more fully about Islam it would be earthshaking.
Michael Copeland says
He did say that what he does not know about Islam could fill many books.
End PC says
That was a cowardly but understandable excuse to back away. He has said elsewhere that he’s studied it for some time. It doesn’t take long for a super-bright, fast reader like himself to understand plenty and he does. Not that I entirely blame him, since if he did come out frankly on this super hot potato subject he’d surely be ferociously attacked with demands for his firing & total censorship and he would have to spend too much of his time on defense. He’s too important and they’d probably be “religion of peace” death fatwas on him. A shame, but maybe someday.

Peterson has the trained ear of a “listener” and It is no more than an expression of tact and concern for him to tippytoe around ‘religious’ tinderboxes.
Michael Copeland says

Wellington says
You can have freedom or you can have Islam but you can’t have both. Freedom is intrinsic to democracy just as the absence of freedom is intrinsic to Islam. This ain’t rocket science.
Jayme says
But thats where it gets scary in Canada we have well known reporters and groups that have opnely said they are ok with the loss of some freedoms if that means muslims feel more at home.
Wellington says
Virtually anyone sacrificing freedom should be treated extremely skeptically by anyone who cherishes freedom.
As for the reporters and “groups” you mentioned, I would bet they are almost without exception Leftists. Leftism, you know, is as massive an error as Islam though in different ways. Indeed, a world without Leftism and Islam would still have many problems but what a better world it would nonetheless be.

JM says
You are right, Welllington. You can either have freedom and a democratic system which fosters it, or you can have Islam. You can’t have both freedom and Islam. You have to choose. If you choose Islam, then your choosing days will be over, I’m afraid. It is as stark as that.
Carol the 1st says
Democracy ends when Islam wins the vote.
Gary Moore says
To go even further, Islam is not compatible with civilized humanity in any way shape or form. The embrace slavery, murder, FMG, and many other barbaric practices. Those Muslims that are against such practices are coerced into complying stay silent lest they end up on the beheading block. Islam is “NOT” a religion, it is a barbaric political ideology disguised as a religion.
JM says
Agreed. However, Islam comprises a reiigion within its totalitarian political ideological system. I read that the institution of the 5-times-a-day prayer was a “management” tool for Mohammed to prevent his followers from rising up against him and killing him.
Carol the 1st says
Who’d have guessed! Another candid peek behind the curtains of the new management system.
Eric Jones says

tim gallagher says
Good summary of Islam, Gary. I also think Islam is 100% incompatible with our western values in endless ways. Islam seems like some barbaric leftover from a more primitive time in mankind’s history. As you mention (slavery, FMG, etc) just look at the primitive garbage Islam endorses. It is the opposite of our way of life in so many ways. And, as Peterson is saying, Islam certainly is incompatible with democracy. In most Islamic countries they seem to want hand over dictatorial powers to those knuckle dragging mullahs or Saudi princes and other unevolved creatures. Muslims have no real commitment to democracy.

The battle for free speech isn’t only in Canada; it is here in America too. Years ago (beginning in 2011) Obama had Hillary sign an international agreement at the UN with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to assist them in defending their “islamophobe” agenda designed to crush all criticism of Islam.
Hillary and the Democrats, not only joined forces with the Muslim Brotherhood’s agenda to silence dissent, they consciously took the step of announcing their willingness to suppress Americans’ free speech and to subvert the 1st amendment and the Constitution in order to protect and defend the Muslims’ announced agenda to subjugate all to Islam and Sharia.
As it is now, we see various segments of the Democrat Party, banding together to suppress free speech, e.g. FB, YouTube, Google, Twitter, etc. FB has crushed my free speech 4 times 30 day banishment ea. time for telling the truth about Islam. Their cover is that they are defending “community standards” – too bad they’re not willing to defend “American standards.”

I recently popped into a local grocery run by muslims. Over the years customers have been a mix but this time (probably because of Ramadan) it looked 95% muslim. I soon realized I was getting uncomfortable looks from a few M/E males who seemed to be conferring behind me and realized it was likely my Bermuda shorts and cute but modest blouse (oh, how to handle or mask your feelings about a kafir in supposedly her own land but on YOUR ‘sacred’ Ramadan turf!!). The looks were deliberately chill from a few dark bags on the other side (which pleased me since fortunately it was a ‘good-hair’ day).
It certainly felt like a very creepy omen of things lying in wait – and not far from the surface either.
gravenimage says
Very disturbing, Carol.
Clayton Norcroft says
The world learned that there is no freedom of speech regarding Islam back in 1989 when Salman Rushdie became the subject of a death sentence pronounced by the religious leader of Iran. Since then, many have been actively silenced with riots, direct threats, and, indeed, by being murdered. Even the Pope learned to keep his mouth shut when he dared to quote a Medieval Emperor in a manner Muslims didn’t like. They shot a nun in the back the same day.
This horror has now made itself entirely respectable by taking on the form of a campaign against prejudice.
Any criticism of Islam is made to come under the heading of prejudice, and governments fall into line to condemn and stop it. But anyone who cares to look into the matter will find that Christianity is far more hated in the Western world than Islam. Christianity comes in for more criticism in a day than Islam does in a year, not to mention parody and insult.
Islam has quickly become specially privileged, and it has done this by wielding the most barbaric means there are to silence critics. Christians may be unhappy at what critics of their religion say, but they won’t kill you for it. No privileges for Christianity then.
eduardo odraude says
Jordan Peterson is a man with a spine.
Vann Boseman says
Yes he is. Overall he is not great on Islam or politics. He refuses to say what his religion even is. He fails to clearly denounce Islam as opposed to Western civilization even though this denunciation would seem to be an obvious conclusion for him. He has a lot to say that is precise and accurate concerning political correctness and free speech, though he perceives Nazism as a far right aberration instead of just another permutation of socialism.
Still, yes, he has a spine. His discipline, psychology, includes intelligence studies. There is good reason for him to not have anything to say about this research. He bravely explores and speaks to this research. The truths revealed by this research are not pleasant and exploration of it is usually professional suicide. Going beyond the moderate Richard Haier and Jordan Peterson the subject becomes more sad, more complicated, and even more controversial. Connecting the dots of this research to Islam inspires a narrative against Islam I am not sure that anyone should ever pursue. There are plenty of great narratives and reasons to oppose Islam and jihad without having to explore the darker side of this subject.

I recommend spending money to go see the new movie “Alladin” by Disney. Although Disney is into Leftist indoctrination, they missed their mark with this movie. CAIR denounces the movie for racism, Orientalism and Islamophobia…which is a good enough reason to go see it. All the main characters are persons of color; it is about a mythical place in the East which is distinctly Arabic but certainly not much display of cultural Islam other than minarets; Princess Jasmine, the daughter of the Sultan (presumably Islamic) is certainly not attired in anything that would come close to wearing a burka sack. Basically the message of the movie is that women (a Princess) can be “Sultans” too…kind of a feminist thing. Apparently there is no title of “Queen” in this mythical Arabian land. The song “Speechless” is her feminist anthem…but it obviously takes a swipe at the misogyny and censorship characteristic of “centuries old and unbending” Islam. In addition, you will enjoy Will Smith’s spin on playing the genie which is hilarious.

He’s 100% right about that. It has no place in countries with a constitution and individual rights. It is a repressive, violent, totalitarian political system that dictates every aspect of life and supersedes all law.
Muhammad says
Clearly your understanding of islam is minor. One important aspect of Islam is to follow te law of the country…but please tell me everything wrong with islam and what’s a better solution to it.if you are quoting please dont look like a fool and use the historical context given
Vann Boseman says
@Muhammad Who are you to say that No Muzzies Here has only a minor understanding of Islam? What qualifies you to say that? Why does it look foolish to you to use historical context? What are you afraid of that will come out if Islam is exposed in the harsh light of historic truth? Can you actually provide overwhelming documentation that Islam throughout its history has followed laws of non Muslim countries they have moved to, or that Islamic doctrine in absolute terms demands its followers in to be law abiding citizens in countries they move to? Especially, can you provide in absolute terms probing that an important aspect of Islam is to follow the law of the country they move to if the country is a western country? Do you honestly want to know what is wrong with Islam, or are you merely posing like a girly boy, acting like something that you are not. I apologize if you honestly are ignorant of what is wrong with Islam, but you have posted your remark on a site with probably hundreds of hours of videos and daily evidence of what is wrong with Islam. Why would anyone not consider historical context of any religion that is over 100 years old?

Amusing stupidity, might describe those who attack Jordon Peterson for dancing around the subject of Islam and one might consider taking a look at The Canadian Human Rights Commision’s batting average—100 per cent.
Imams may quote Sayyid Qutb saying “The foremost duty of Islam in this world is to depose jihlilyyah from the leadership of man, and to take the leadership into its own hands and enforce the particular way of life which is its permanent feature.
We need not rationalizeIslam to them, need not appease their desires and distorted concepts. we will be extremely outspoken with them.
Jahiliyyah is evil and corrupt, whether it be of the ancient or modern variety.
Our first task is to replace this jahiliyyah with Islamic ideas and traditions.
The chasm between Islam and jahiliyyah is great, and a bridge is NOT to built across it so that the people on the two sides may mix with each other, but only so that the people of jahiliyyah may come over to Islam.”
One may google Imam Mazin Abdul-Adhim, living in London, Ontario, he will tell you the caliphate is coming.
M-103 was supported by all the feckless Liberals and all the NDP, except Justine in another cya moment was out looking fo unicorns. ONE MUST NOT BE ISLAMOPHOBIC.

Psychology Professor Jordan Peterson, is a conservative by inclination I think, if not a partisan Conservative politically. He is regardless, an original, well educated, erudite and moderate man by temperament. He is hardly an alt-right extremist as many of his detractors try to pigeon-hole him as. In short he is a very credible as a pundit on our current political situation and our insane immigration policies. When Mr. Peterson states the obvious about the indigestibility of Islam in modern, secular democracies, the smart money will sit up and take notice.

The Intelligencer calls itself “Liberal” and looks like the usual inane word-salad rag. This has extremely little to do with Peterson (who, as a clinical psychologist, has learned to spend much time listening and thinking before he delivers any bon mots).
