Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

UK: Conservative leadership candidates all back inquiry into “Islamophobia” within their party

Jun 19, 2019 4:16 pm By Robert Spencer

Note that the statements from Conservative leaders quoted in this article all use the word “racism” as if it were a synonym for “Islamophobia.” This shows how much the public discourse in Britain (and elsewhere) has degenerated: Islam is not a race, and the term “Islamophobia” is a propaganda neologism designed to intimidate people into thinking it is bigoted and hateful to oppose jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women and others. Genuine prejudice and bigotry should always be opposed, but charges of “Islamophobia” are levied against anyone and everyone who dares to speak about how jihadis use the texts and teachings of Islam to justify violence and make recruits among peaceful Muslims. Consequently, this inquiry will only serve to inhibit even more than is already the case any effective action against jihad terrorists. And all the Conservative leaders happily signed on. Britain, if it isn’t finished as a free society, is in deep, deep trouble.

“Tory leadership rivals back Islamophobia inquiry,” BBC, June 19, 2019:

All five Conservative leadership candidates have said they will support an independent inquiry into allegations of Islamophobia within their party.

Sajid Javid challenged the other candidates on Tuesday’s BBC TV debate to commit to an external investigation and the others appeared to agree to it.

Jeremy Hunt said racism was “not restricted to any one political party”.

Ex-party chairwoman Baroness Warsi said it was “important” the promise was kept by whoever becomes prime minister.

She has been calling for an independent inquiry into “institutional” Islamophobia in the Conservative Party.

On the BBC TV debate, the candidates were pressed by an imam to accept that “words have consequences” amid claims that the Conservatives have failed to tackle Islamophobia in the party.

Referring to Donald Trump’s string of attacks on London’s Muslim mayor Sadiq Khan, the home secretary said politicians should be “brave enough” to call out Islamophobia wherever it came from.

Foreign Secretary Mr Hunt told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “I think we should have an independent inquiry because the cancer of racism and prejudice is not restricted to any one political party.

“We have been very vociferous calling out Jeremy Corbyn and anti-Semitism and if we are going to do that, and I think we are right to do that, then we have to be whiter than white ourselves.”…

“Whiter than white”? Watch your language, racist.

Sajid Javid has been QUITE the over-achiever!

With a Christian church-going wife, honeymooning in Israel….

    ———————————————————————————–

Javid was born in Rochdale, Lancashire, one of five sons of Pakistani Muslim immigrant parents.[4][5] His father worked as a bus driver.[6] His mother didn’t speak English having grown up in a Pakistani village where girls didn’t go to school.[7] His family moved from Lancashire to Stapleton Road, Bristol, as his parents took over a shop there, and the family lived in a two-bedroom flat above it.[8]

As a teenager, Javid developed an interest in financial markets, following the Thatcher government’s privatisations. At the age of fourteen, he borrowed £500 from a bank to invest in shares and became a regular reader of the Financial Times.[8]

From 1981 to 1986, Javid attended Downend School, a state comprehensive near Bristol. At school it was recommended that he should be a TV repairman. Javid has said he was told that he couldn’t study maths at O Level so he had to get his father to pay for it.[9] When he later witnessed a video showing an assault on a Syrian refugee, he remarked that it was reminiscent of bullying he had experienced at school;[10] Javid claims he faced racial abuse when younger, being called a ‘Paki’, and having faced abuse from “National Front skinheads”.[11] Speaking in 2014, Javid said that while at school: “I was naughty, more interested in watching Grange Hill than homework”.[8] After being told by his school that he could only study two A Levels when he believed he needed three to go to university,[9] Javid subsequently attended Filton Technical College from 1986 to 1988, and finally the University of Exeter from 1988 to 1991. At university, he studied Economics and Politics and during this time he joined the Conservative Party.[12][13]

Aged 20, Javid attended the annual Conservative Party Conference for the first time and campaigned against the Thatcher government’s decision that year to join the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM). He was handing out leaflets against the policy when he first met TV presenter Jeremy Paxman. He has since stated that Paxman first interviewed him at that same conference.[14]

Javid’s time in the US working for an investment bank included a spell as an aide to Rudy Giuliani’s winning 1993 New York mayoral campaign.[15]

Javid is a trustee of the London Early Years Foundation, was a governor of Normand Croft Community School, and has led an expedition to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, to show his support of Help the Aged.[16]

    Banking career[edit]
Javid joined Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City immediately after graduation, working mostly in South America. Aged 25,[a] he became a vice president.[17][20][b] He returned to London in 1997, and later joined Deutsche Bank as a director in 2000. In 2004, he became a managing director at Deutsche Bank and, the following year, global head of Emerging Markets Structuring.[22]

In 2007, he relocated to Singapore as head of Deutsche Bank’s credit trading, equity convertibles, commodities and private equity businesses in Asia,[23] and was appointed a board member of Deutsche Bank International Limited.

He left Deutsche Bank in 2009 to pursue a career in politics. His earnings at Deutsche Bank would have been roughly £3,000,000 a year at the time he left [24] and the Evening Standard once estimated his career change would have required him to take a 98% pay cut.[25]

      ….

Javid married his childhood sweetheart Laura King in 1997, whom he met while sharing a stapler at the local Commercial Union branch during a summer job.[165][15] Javid has four children with his wife Laura — a church-going Christian.[166] The couple had their honeymoon in Israel.[162][147] Javid’s children are privately educated, something that Javid attributed to their desire to “do what’s best for them”.[8] The family owns properties in Fulham, Chelsea, Bristol and Bromsgrove.[15][167]

Javid was raised in a two-bed flat above a shop in Bristol with four brothers. His brother Chief Superintendent Bas Javid is Commander of Solihull Police division.[168] Bas Javid was previously with the Royal Navy and his military service included the Gulf War – for which he received a commendation for teamwork and bravery.[168]

His eldest brother Tariq, died in July 2018 in “an unnatural death”[169] and a full inquest was held in which the coroner ruled Tariq had intentionally killed himself after drinking alcohol and taking codeine at the luxury South Lodge Hotel, which was near his home in Horsham. In a letter left to Sylvia — his partner of 15 years — Tariq suggested he would not “last long” due to ill health. Tariq was a successful businessman and managed a supermarket chain.[170]

His other siblings are Khalid, a financial advisor, and Atif, a multi-millionaire property tycoon.[169] Before he became an MP, Sajid was briefly a director of Atif’s main investment vehicle, SA Capital.[171]

Javid is said to have received religious hate mail in the form of a “Punish a Muslim day” parcel; as of March 2018, he was the fifth British MP to receive such abuse.[172] However, Javid himself is not religious[173] and drinks alcohol,[27] whereas his wife is a practising Christian.[174] Addressing a church-hosted husting in his inaugural election campaign for Bromsgrove on 22 April 2010, Javid told the audience:[175]

“ My own family’s heritage is Muslim. Myself and my four brothers were brought up to believe in God, but I do not practise any religion. My wife is a practising Christian and the only religion practised in my house is Christianity.[176][174] ”
Javid has said that it is “lazy” and “wrong” to suggest terror has nothing to do with Islam.[177] Speaking at a Muslim News Awards ceremony in 2017, Javid said that those who attack and kill in the name of Islam had no right to do so and that “we can’t deny that these people think they are Muslims. They identify as Muslims. They genuinely believe they are acting for the glory of Islam.”[178] Javid wrote in The Times that, “there’s a special, unique burden on the Muslim community” to do something about terrorism.[179]

Javid has criticised those in the Muslim community who question his faith and refer to him as a “Coconut” or an “Uncle Tom”.[55][175]

In 2019, Wayne Kirby, a Tommy Robinson supporter who had previously served 6 years for a rape conviction, was jailed for posting threatening and abusive comments about Javid. Kirby referred to Javid as “a Muslim terrorist” and threatened Javid would be “hung, drawn and quartered” if anything happened to Robinson.[180]

Clearly motivated by a desire for social and economic self-advancement (aka greed?) which probably also motivated their father’s move to the UK from his village in Pakistan in the first place, it looks like the Javid brothers seem to have deliberately used every available aspect of the UK economic and social environment to advance their personal prospects within the UK. Whilst they indeed must have worked hard to better themselves professionally, it seems that, as well as exploiting British social and educational facilities, they probably also targeted members of British society in order to ingratiate themselves with the local establishment and secure for themselves a piece of the pie; this would have included (a) deliberately acquiring British spouses in the cases of at least two of them and (b) publicly denying their native cultural and ethnic identities in order to give the impression that they have ‘joined the club’. Regarding the latter, the somewhat superficial and cosmetic nature of their apparent enthusiasm to belong to a culture in which they have no roots and probably limited knowledge is belied by their lack of personal commitment to the fundamental values of that culture and by inconsistencies in their attitudes and actions. For a start, Javid states that ‘he is not religious’ a convenient get-out statement socially justified by the current atmosphere of mildly anti-religious pseudo-agnosticism within the UK (cf UK church attendance figures), thus avoiding any need to personally recognise the importance of Christianity (which remains the bedrock of British cultural values) whilst slyly using his conveniently-acquired wife’s Christian commitment to (sort of!) give the impression that he is ‘aligned with the club’s values’. That this impression might be somewhat misleading is indicated by some of the instances of palpable anti-Christian, pro-muslim bias that have occurred in Home Office and Government decisions whilst Javid has been Home Secretary or had any influence in Government actions; for example, the gross pro-muslim/anti-christian imbalance in refugee admissions, despite the fact that it is the christians who are at highest personal risk; the decision to ban four middle-eastern bishops from entry for no good reason; the decision to deny the Pakistani Christian Aisha Bibi asylum despite her dire circumstances, on the risible grounds that it ‘might promote unrest in some communities’ (the ‘communities’ in question or reasons for the ‘unrest’ never actually named); the appalling officially-sanctioned, ‘legalised’ abuse of Tommy Robinson clearly because he is a whistle-blower on islam, and which has dragged the UK’s reputation as an established civilised democracy through the mud. If all or any of the foregoing were not actually personally directed or sanctioned by Javid, he was in a position to raise objection to, or stop, all of it – but he clearly didn’t. Contrast that, however, with the high-profile official action on a certain Ms. Begum in Syria, where our Hero unceremoniously stripped her of her UK citizenship following the publication of her brief but appalling career with ISIS. ‘Bold, uncompromising action upholding proper British values’? – or a rather crude bit of political opportunism to buy his way into No.10 on the back the opinion polls?

However, one problem remains – “Javid has criticised those in the Muslim community who question his faith and refer to him as a “Coconut” or an “Uncle Tom”. Sorry, WHAT faith are we talking about here? Didn’t he say he was ‘not reiigious’? So why bother criticising? One would surely have simply told the ‘Muslim Community’ to go away and play with itself. Or is there any more to those rumours that Javid took his oath in the House of Commons on a copy of the Qu’ran? And what’s so bad about being a ‘Coconut’ or ‘Uncle Tom’ if one presumes a right to be the supreme leader in the the land that’s supposed to belong to, and reflect the values of, the people that inspired the ‘coconuts’ and ‘Uncle Toms’? And doesn’t the reference to ‘coconuts’ and Uncle Toms’ raise a rather large racist question mark over the attitudes of the muslim community and its suitability to be part of a ‘British society’? So what happens if Mr. javid decides that perhaps he’s not quite ‘irreligious after all? The same as a certain Sadiq Khan, who was reported as stating that he was ‘an agnostic’ before being elected as Mayor of London? And we all know what happened after that, don’t we? Certainly your President Trump does!

Agree with 11B40. What you call ‘kuffarophobia’ has an official name of AL WALAA WAL BARAA.

      – Imam Abdul-Latif ibn Abdur-Rahman Rahimullah said, “It is not possible for someone to realize Tawheed (Islamic faith) and act upon it, and yet not be HOSTILE against the mushrikeen (i.e. wrong worshippers). So anyone who isn’t HOSTILE against the mushrikeen, then it cannot be said that he acts upon Tawheed nor that he realizes it.” [ad-Durar as-Saniyyah 8/167]

      – “The doctrine of al Walaa wal Baraa is the REAL IMAGE for the actual practice of this faith.” – source “Al Walaa wal Baraa According to the Aqeedah of the Salaf”, by Sheikh Muhammad Saeed al Qatani, authoritative Saudi Sharia lawyer and imam at the Abu Bakr and Al Furqan Mosques in Mecca.

Again I state that anyone taking the stupid and deceptive term,”Islamophobia,” seriously should not be taken seriously. The fact that Tory leadership, never mind the idiots in the Labour Party, have done exactly this does not give me much hope for the preservation of a free Britain, if indeed such still exists.

Madness. Damn effing stupid too. And for what? For Islam? For the worst religion of all time. This is what it has come to? Mo’s decrepit creed protected all the while Christianity, a far superior religion, is made fun of and even punished? Really?

Beyond words right now but, thankfully, not beyond a BLT and a beer. But I digress.

This much I know and it is this: The more Islam exists in the West, accompanied by its idiot companion, i.e., Western Leftism, which has even affected many on the Right of the political spectrum (e.g., Bush 43), the more freedom will be diminished.

You know, you expect the authoritarian rubes in places like Russia, China, Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa (sigh!, it really is a long list here), to be enemies of liberty. Ditto for the desultory and forever destructive Islamic world, but when the West produces enemies of freedom by way of exculpating Islam, if this is not evidence that mankind is in deep trouble and has lost its collective mind, then nothing is.

Oh yeah, that beer and BLT. And screw Islam, Leftism and traditional authoritarianism—the “triple whammy” that assuredly makes the world a lesser place, a worse place. Like now.

“Mo’s decrepit creed protected all the while Christianity, a far superior religion, is made fun of and even punished?”

      Yes, oh the irony.

“The more Islam exists in the West, accompanied by its idiot companion, i.e., Western Leftism…the more freedom will be diminished.”

The loss of freedom of a Western country is exponentially correlated to the increase in percent Muslim population.

“… the West produces enemies of freedom by way of exculpating Islam, if this is not evidence that mankind is in deep trouble…”

You are correct, without very forceful push back against Islam, all of mankind is threatened.

      Look at it this way:

The status quo elite haven’t found a sufficient enough platform to stand upon when it comes to address the challenges and difficulties which Islamic citizens present a Western nation.

The status quo elite aren’t going to voluntarily leave office/positions (which would be great if they did and replaced by more strident and courageous pro-Western democracy leadership and policymakers) …

So the choice left is to keep correcting them until they can get replaced.

They certainly don’t want to ruffle feathers or create messy waves, as Muslim community organizers will just make things horrid for them, individually, so they toe the current line, until something better and more attuned to dealing with these challenges arise.

In a way, it is logical and rational for them; but in the long term, it spells doom for everyone who isn’t a Leftist, or Globalist, or Islamist.

What I find troubling and baffling is that this is the Conservative party that seems to have plenty of members who have drunk the Kool Aid and have become captive to this “Islamophobia” crap. It must be hard for people in the UK, who see through all this “Islamophobia” garbage, and who see it as a way to shut down honest examination of Islam, to know where to turn politically when the Conservative Party seems to go along with this leftie PC nonsense. I guess Tommy Robinson’s political movement might get quite a few more supporters from people who give up on the Conservative Party.

“Referring to Donald Trump’s string of attacks on London’s Muslim mayor Sadiq Khan, the home secretary said politicians should be “brave enough” to call out Islamophobia wherever it came from.“

What dishonesty, what hypocrisy in the sense of double standards. From this home secretary Sajid Javid.

I mean; Trump is much more a reactor than a provocateur. Yes, he reacts vehemently, but in a RE active, not PRO active way. The Pro active provocateur against Trump was Sadiq Khan. He initiated the altercations. Viciously attacking Trump, on the subject of Democratic Values! As if Khan was a dead honest
Neutral loyal citizen of a Democratic Nation. But he is a declared Muslims. Even objective knowledgeable bystanders, if such exist, must admit that Islamic Nations practicing Islamic law, are infinitely worse, on a variety of Western values, than Trump. The Conservatives must know that.

I often think coward politicians only criticize the one scapegoat of whom they with 100 % certainly that he will not retaliate in any violent way, that vows to up hold their safety and freedom of speech.

While they dare not call out the elephant in the room; that Sadiq Khan is heavily prejudiced as a Muslim, that he initiated the vicious altercation himself. That Sajid Javid, now acting as if HE is neutral, is another prejudiced Muslim. The conservatives studiously, cowardly, do not spell out that Khan and Javid do not practice Islam very much, or that they are covertly fighting the one person in power, with big influence, that in a way does fight Islam, as anti-democratic religion, Donald Trump.

But UK conservatives may one day find their ostrich like behavior will not help them against essentially anti-Democratic Moslims, once these are empowered. And empowered Muslims are not so committed to freedom of speech and protection of life as Donald Trump and his sort of conservatives are. Dedicated Muslims are committed to the opposite of that, deep down, and in practice, and when they can, I think.

Considering that Iran through its proxies, arms sales, and terrorist activities has likely killed more than a thousand Americans and has clearly stated its goal to annihilate Israel, it’s time to spray the wasp nest instead of continuing the past acceptance of periodic stings.

I do hope I do not sound too Islamophobic in reporting a 49 year old Toronto, Imam was arrested at Toronto, Pearson Airport while trying to board a flight to leave the country amid an investigation into allegations against him. police are concerned there may be other victims. the no name Imam faces charges of breach of trust, 3 counts of sexual assault and threatening death. no doubt CAIR will take care of him.

See how they use Tommy’s name when an evil nasty man says what he will do to the Tory. Tommy does not even know this man but they try their very best to suggest that he does. It’s almost as if Tommy gave him a command to say what he said.

This is the way the media works with lies and insinuating comments. As for the Tory boy there is no such thing as Islamophobia so the investigation will be a waste of money and time. I have to laugh how they want to link a real problem like racism to and imaginary problem of Islamophobia.

Islam is not a race any fool can be a Muslim, I have seen many white Muslims I actually work with one so that kills their propaganda stone dead. Islam is an evil sick twisted ideology where people follow a demon possessed false prophet pedophile and mass killer. Nice try through Tory boy.
