What took them so long? They were probably paralyzed by fear of charges of “Islamophobia.” Remember: in Rotherham, British officials “described their nervousness about identifying the ethnic origins of perpetrators for fear of being thought as racist; others remembered clear direction from their managers not to do so.”
Note also that the Daily Mail gives no hint as to the identity of the people who were arrested. Once again we see that the establishment media’s top priority is to make sure no one thinks ill of Islam. The clueless dhimmis at the Daily Mail, the worst paper in the Western world, would never dream of informing you that while sexual assault occurs in all cultures, but only in Islam does it have divine sanction.
One survivor of a Muslim rape gang in the UK said that her rapists would quote Quran to her, and believed their actions justified by Islam.
The Qur’an teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for sexual use (cf. its allowance for a man to take “captives of the right hand,” 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” (33:59) The implication there is that if women do not cover themselves adequately with their outer garments, they may be abused, and that such abuse would be justified.
Might the people arrested here be non-Muslim? Possibly. But the overwhelming majority of people who have been involved in rape gangs have been Muslims operating on the principles stated above. Stating that fact in Britain, however, will get you vilified, deplatformed, and ostracized.
“Police investigating grooming gang arrest 41 men and three women aged between 39 and 81 over allegations of historic child sexual abuse in Kirklees,” by Mark Duell, MailOnline, June 21, 2019:
Detectives investigating allegations of child sexual abuse in West Yorkshire have arrested 44 people as part of a probe.
Some 36 men and three women have been arrested from homes across Kirklees, Bradford, Leeds and others parts of West Yorkshire over the last two weeks.
Five other men were arrested at the end of last year in connection with the same investigation. The suspects are aged between 39 and 81 years old.
All 44 people arrested have been interviewed and released under investigation.
The investigation centres on allegations made by four women of sexual abuse committed against them as children predominantly in the Dewsbury and Batley areas between 1995 and 2002.
The victims were aged between 12 and 16 at the time of the alleged abuse.
Detective Inspector Seth Robinson, leading the investigation, said: ‘Safeguarding and protecting children remains the top priority for West Yorkshire Police….
Barbara says
So while the investigation made sure not to besmirch a group of the truth, how many more innocent victims were left with being raped? All because the people who took an oath up hold the law and defend the innocent were to cowardly to do the job that was needed doing? COWARDS
Simo Hayha says
So,…….” They were arrested, interviewed, and RELEASED?” Ah, like OUR Mexico border guards were INSTRUCTED to do with illegal migrants caught entering OUR country. Interviewed, and released IN THE USA, with instructions to return at SOME day for a court hearing. And 90% NEVER showed up!
A_M_Swallow says
We know where the men live so when the prosecutions begin they will be easy to arrest. To escape arrest they would have to leave the country. We may not be too worried about a self deportations.
bdrileyphilosopher says
Too right. And for those who stay and face the music. How about conditional sentence reduction. Reduce their sentence if they agree to return to their country of origin on sentence completion –on the understanding that if they ever return they will go back to prison to serve out their original sentence.
A_M_Swallow says
If they are imprisoned for at least a year the judge can order their deportation.
Henry Mansfield says
There needs to be an official tally of successful prosecutions kept for these grooming gangs. I mention the problem to Americans that seem to think of Muslim migration here as basically the same as any other group, and most seem oblivious.
The sheer size and ugliness of what transpired over decades is hard to communicate in polite conversation, but giving a figure that stands up to examination would invite others to study up a little.
Dogman1947 says
So glad they were arrested, interviewed and RELEASED!!!
A_M_Swallow says
The Sexual Offences Act was brought in in 2003. Someone needs prosecuting under that act.
Dogman1947 says
Will someone familiar with criminal justice procedure offer am explanation why they were give a talk-to and sent back to their freedom where they can reoffend?
somehistory says
Dogman1947
In the U.S., a person can be “interviewed” or “interrogated.” Interviews are usually done with a witness or other person not necessarily considered as a person of interest or suspect. Interrogations are for those who are considered persons of interest or suspects. This report says “interviewed” of those “arrested.” That makes it unclear exactly what happened.
If the interview produces something unexpected, the person may then be interrogated and if the detectives discover something more, they may decide to make an arrest and the person will be taken to court to hear the charges. They may be allowed bail.
It sounds like these guys may not have given up any information, so the cops had no more than what the victims had accused and the pd felt like they could be “released” while the investigation moved ahead. I don’t know about the court system, or whether they faced a judge to have bail set, but that too is a possibility.
Sometimes murderers are held without bail, but rapists are usually given bail, if they can pay it.
A_M_Swallow says
44 people – prosecuting a case like that will be decided by the attorney general himself. The charges against each person can be different. Also the number of trials – one trial of 44 people or say eleven trials of 4 people or some combination. The gang leader could be involved in more than one trial.
A_M_Swallow says
> Note also that the Daily Mail gives no hint as to the identity of the people who were arrested.
I suspect the people were not identified because they have not been charged by the police. Until they are charged if it names them they can sue the newspaper for liable. The newspaper would have to prove the crime happened.
Dawne says
Almost certainly true. And whilst the Daily Mail never goes far enough with explanations of what happens etc, they do at least report this sort of story which many UK papers/MSM don’t do at all.
Rufolino says
It appears the BBC has not reported it. (It may have mentioned it as “local news”.)
When reporting on rape-gangs the BBC never mentions the word “moslem”, or is sufficiently interested in the subject to mention Islam’s policy on the rape of infidels.
Men accused recently of being part of a rape gang in Oxford were described by the BBC as “Oxfrod men”. It sounded like a ridiculous line from “The Importance of Being Earnest”, and people actually laughed.

UK: Police finally arrest 44 rape gang members 17 years after their crimes
…………………….
How many more girls did they brutalize in the intervening 17 years?
Martin says
Apparently, tthe young non-Muslim girls in West Yorkshire (and their parents) can all rest easy:
“Detective Inspector Seth Robinson, leading the investigation, said: ‘Safeguarding and protecting children remains the top priority for West Yorkshire Police….”
gravenimage says
I’m sure this makes them feel better…sarc/off
Angemon says
I suspect that, were that the case, some sort of personal info would have made its way to the media.
gravenimage says
Likely so, Angemon–almost always, on the rare occasions that Infidels are involved with some kind of terrorism or organized child rape, that fact is made first page news–it is both a “man bites dog” moment, and an opportunity to crow that it isn’t only Muslims who do this.
No such indication here.
D J says
Thomas Mair, who murdered Jo Cox MP, lived there. Was this group the reason for that in his mind?
Madeleine Dunn says
my understanding is that they besmirched the victims and their families rather than appear racist
Paul J says
I think DI Seth Robinson was misquoted; he actually said “covering our arse and protecting pedophiles remains the top priority for West Yorkshire Police”. Damn him and his political puppet masters.
abad says
So, these 44 Moslems were given a tiny little slap on the wrist.
Tiny little slap on the wrist, the most “humane punishment” according to the liberal elite.
Guess what.
That “Tiny little slap on the wrist” just is not working.
Sarah Anne says
Clearly detectives are a waste of time and money.
Stephen Silverstein says
The UK is now crap, the police AND social services turn a blind eye to Pakistani Muslim rape gangs because they don’t want to offend this trash.
John Allan says
‘… in Rotherham, British officials “described their nervousness about identifying the ethnic origins of perpetrators for fear of being thought as racist; others remembered clear direction from their managers not to do so.”’
Last time I checked, Islam was a so-called religion – and a right PITA – so how is it possible to confuse religion with race? As for the taxpayer-funded managers, they should be out on their collective arse.
Aton says
You say the Daily Mail is the worst – but the Grauniad, Independent and Times are much worse.
The interesting thing is who is dictating this viewpoint. I have a debate with Peter Hitchins, a DM columnist, and he said you would not believe the number of things that are restricted and he cannot write about. But he would not elucidate on whether his restrictions were from management or from the government.
But think about this. Every newspaper and media outlet across Europe and across America are doing the same thing. So who is REALLY pulling the strings here?

The Yorkshire Ripper case is a no go area for the British media, except to intensify the official line with more lies, because Peter Sutcliffe was stitched up as the Ripper by police who allowed this copycat killer to remain free to kill again knowing he was not the Real Ripper. His blood group and teeth pattern didnt match the Ripper and that was why he was eliminated so many times only to stage his own arrest in an outside force area and confess that he was the Ripper. see my website http://www.yorkshireripper.com The Real Ripper worked for me and police knew his identity.
Joe says
While in prison, they should not be allowed to practice Islam. And, the same condition should be part of their parole.
NotALibNoMo says
Seth is lying. Their first concern is to not upset their new masters.
Britain is lost.
Westman says
“Detective Inspector Seth Robinson, leading the investigation, said: ‘Safeguarding and protecting children remains the top priority for West Yorkshire Police….”
Every young female in the UK should breathe easier knowing that they are now safe, as they always were, under the “remains top priority(?)” of May’s police?
Is this a vestige of a Kingdom; the working “serf” still has little value but tax money and labour for the elite?
AvantiBev says
Notice that in the DM article by Alibi Brown, the Muslim women comment on how the “white” girls run the streets w/o supervision. I have asked before on these threads where are the DADS?! Sadly, after 22 years working as a secretary for divorce lawyers, I know the answer: mere out-of-wedlock sires or divorced and mere visitors in their kid’s lives. Whether Muslim predators or American homo-heretic priest pederasts, they HUNT like wolves; looking for the vulnerable and alone.
Too bad UK victims are identified merely as “white” while Pakistanis are identified by their ideology. St. Bede, St. Augustine of Canterbury, St. Thomas a Becket, St. John Fisher pray for once Christian Britain. They have been disarmed. You can’t fight a fanatic falsehood without the armor of God.
gravenimage says
Most of the victims are “at risk” girls, and broken homes are the least of it (although this condition is often a precurser, of course)–many of these home are neglectful or abusive, or the victims are run aways, or in foster care.

This is going to happen in the United States also, These people are all living in the same area together, and end up taking over the city, and then elect their Sharia Law animals in office, who then tries to change the law to suit their fantasy life. These people do not want the freedom’s of other countries, they want to take over and enforce their demented ways into our lives.
Eric Jones says
Perhaps the UK police wanted the statue of limitations to expire before arresting these persons.?
Eric
gravenimage says
I’d wondered about that, myself–luckily, though, there is no statue of limitations on sex crimes in the UK:
https://www.lawtonslaw.co.uk/resources/statute-limitations-sexual-assault/
But, of course, the greater the time lapse, the harder it is to convict. Victims, witnesses, and perpetrators move away or drop out of sight, and physical and corroborating evidence is much harder to find.
After 17 years, some of the victims may even have died.
A_M_Swallow says
In the UK there is no statute of limitations on rape.
