Last year, the Canadian Jewish News published a feature “Interfaith Camp Teaches Kids About Other Religions“. In the first line of the article it stated that “peace starts with the children”, which it certainly does. The article then goes on to explain that “The Peel Interfaith Peace Camp teaches kids about the traditions, cultures and beliefs that Jews, Muslims and Christians have in common.” God forbid if any speaker in such a “peace camp” for children could possibly advocate for the regime of Iran. Parents who send their children to such ‘dialogue’ and ‘peace’ camps do so in complete trust, where organizers have good intentions but of whom (like so many when it comes to Islam) may be in the dark about who they are partnering with.

Sheikh Jaffer H. Jaffer, has just come out in praises of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khameini in his sermon slamming Trump for being a bully. He did it during his Friday sermon at the Masumeen Islamic Centre in Brampton. In teaching his congregation about Khameini, he stated: “These are the type of leaders that Allah wants to see … It is our responsibility to support them and to pray for them.” Ayatollah Khamenei–who Sheikh Jaffer deems to be a model leader in the eyes of Allah–has stated of Israel:
“Our stance against Israel is the same stance we have always taken….Israel is a malignant cancerous tumor in the West Asian region that has to be removed and eradicated: it is possible and it will happen.”
Khamenei has also branded Israel as “barbaric,” “infanticidal,” and the “sinister, unclean rabid dog of the region.”

- “The great powers have dominated the destiny of the Islamic countries for years and… installed the Zionist cancerous tumor in the heart of the Islamic world… Many of the problems facing the Muslim world are due to the existence of the Zionist regime.”
- “Western countries allow no freedom of expression, which they claim to advocate, with regard to the myth of the massacre of Jews known as the holocaust, and nobody in the West enjoys the freedom of expression to deny it or raise doubts about it. But affronting the sanctities of about 1.5 billion Muslims is permissible in the West.”
- “Today, the Muslim world is injured and corrupt people who are the enemies of all Muslims are trying to cause disunity in the Islamic world by intensifying ethnic difference and separating people under names such as ‘Shia and Sunni’, ‘Arabs and non Arabs’.”
These are the same views of which Sheikh Jaffer H. Jaffer holds, given his reverence for Ayatollah Khamenei as the type of leader “that Allah wants to see”; and Sheikh Jaffer partnered with Rabbi Pollack and Canon Jennifer Reid to teach children about “peace”. This is too often the state of “dialogue” initiatives in Canada and in other Western countries.

He said that Trump has been a bully his entire life, and he criticized him for withdrawing from the JCPOA for “egocentric” reasons. Sheikh Jaffer said that he hopes the tensions between Iran and the U.S. will subside without loss of innocent life, and he prayed for more leaders like Supreme Leader Khamenei and Ayatollah Ali Sistani and for Allah to help the Houthi leaders in Yemen, who he praised for refusing to succumb to those who are more powerful than them. Sheikh Jaffer added: “These are the type of leaders that Allah wants to see … It is our responsibility to support them and to pray for them.”….
