A renowned expert on Islam, Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch and author of “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam” and other works, should be censored by Google, according to an activist.
The charge comes from Miqdaad Versi, who has been described as a British “Islamic supremacist.”
So Spencer is offering a challenge: He’ll send Versi a free copy of his book “The Complete Infidel’s Guide to the Quran,” and if Versi can prove an error of fact in the book, Spencer will send along $5,000.
It all got started because Versi was angry that Spencer’s work appeared in a Google search.
It would be odd, however, if any such search for terms such as Islam, Quran or jihad didn’t include him.
He’s the director of Jihad Watch and a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. He’s written 19 books, including New York Times bestsellers “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades),” “The Truth About Muhammad” and the bestselling “The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS.”
He’s led seminars on Islam and jihad for the FBI, the United States Central Command, United States Army Command and General Staff College, the U.S. Army’s Asymmetric Warfare Group, the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), the Justice Department’s Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council and the U.S. intelligence community.
As a columnist for several publications, he’s written hundreds of articles that have appeared in publications such as the San Francisco Examiner, the New York Post, the Washington Times, the Dallas Morning News, Fox News Opinion, National Review, The Federalist, The Hill, the Detroit News, TownHall.com, Real Clear Religion, the Daily Caller, the New Criterion, the Journal of International Security Affairs, the U.K.’s Guardian, Canada’s National Post, Middle East Quarterly, WND, First Things, Insight in the News and Aleteia.
He’s been interviewed by nearly all of the television networks.
But here’s Versi’s complaint:
The response from Twitter users might not have been what he wanted.
Juan Esquivo said: “The problem obviously is that @miqdaad doesn’t want us dirty kuffars reading Robert Spencer’s careful and accurate books. Instead, we should be fed Islamophile propaganda and learn to shut up when our Muslim masters tell us.”
Another wrote: “You’re right Google must do better. If we lobby hard enough we may be able to get @jihadwatchRS Robert Spencer’s book ‘The Complete Infidels Guide to the Koran’ into the first place on every online book shop. I’m going to buy my copy. I’ve heard it’s a great read. Thx Miqdaad.”
Spencer’s own reaction was direct: “They can’t refute what I say, so they want me silenced, since my work exposes the grim reality of how jihadis use the texts and teachings of the Quran to justify jihad violence and Shariah oppression.”
His challenge?
Other Twitter users claimed there were many errors in the book but failed to offer an example.
Spencer said that so far, Versi has not responded to his offer.
“What a surprise!” he wrote.

I just finished the book yesterday. I stopped short of finishing it a couple of months ago, the reality of it had sapped me of the will to withstand hopelessness.
This is a genuinely great book. Spencer’s best work, which is saying something. As is my habit with any book, I traced through the footnotes back to the source to verify accuracy, which I fully expected with him. It was.
Spencer combines skills (Arabic speaker and reader) with talent (remorseless objectivity). If only every adult American could read this book, there would be a revolution in useful consciousness in the country. Same goes for Europe, but they’re probably too far gone.
I wonder how many copies it’s sold.
Alarmed Pig Farmer says
Also, the book’s design was ingenious, and I’m not talking about the cover artwork. It laid things out in such a way that it never got too big or academic. If I ever write another book, I fully intend to steal this design from Spencer.

Someone should offer 5 bucks for every error that can be found in Al Qur’an! If someone asks, why only 5 bucks? Tell them that you can’t afford to lose 1,000s of dollars! There are just so-o-o-o many errors. Where does one start?
mortimer says
There are about 1,000 fairly important errors in the Koran. The main motive of jihad, for instance, is the theological argument that Christians worship more than one god and that Jews worship Ezra. Both are theological gaffes of the sort that would be made by an illiterate, xenophobic Bedouin nincompoop.
Islam is largely based on these two theological misunderstandings. Muslims are given the commandment in K.9.29 to use violence to extort money from Jews and Christians because they worship God incorrectly.
Muslims are supposed to hate people, rob them, subjugate them and extort money from them on the basis of what the victims of Islam believe or don’t believe. This is pure bigotry and it is all based on a misunderstanding of Christianity and Judaism.
Internal errors of fact and reasoning are certainly plentiful in the Koran. As well, the Koran has a few hundred grammar, spelling and stylistic mistakes that are absurd and troublesome for native Arab speakers. The Koran was apparently written in a hurry as dictated by a clown who didn’t re-read or edit any of his material or realize how bone-headed and pompous much of it actually was. His followers who wrote it down were too afraid of getting their throats cut to offer improvements. One scribe, who actually did offer suggestions to Mohammed, quit Islam when Mohammed agreed to a few of them. He reasoned that a real prophet would not alter the Deity’s direct, literal communications or change even a comma of it. Mohammed made up the Koran and even dared to change it from time to time expecting that very few or any of his dopey followers would catch on. The Koran still hoodwinks many people who haven’t bothered to study it’s crazy ideas and factual errors.

On top of the numerous factual/historical errors, the quran depicts the only god allah as a completely capricious, irrational, and monstrous entity,
the phrase “whom he wills” brings up 88 results at the quranx translation site, for the quran alone, 404 for the whole site which includes the hadiths…
what do the verses containing that phrase say ?
that allah chooses who believes and who doesn’t, that he leads astray whom he wills,
then he orders all sorts of punishments for the disbelievers,
that he made into disbelievers…..!

The creepy parallels with Pravda become more obvious daily.
from Wiki, “Pravda became an official publication, or ‘organ’, of the Soviet Communist Party. Pravda became the conduit for announcing official policy and policy changes and would remain so until 1991. Subscription to Pravda was mandatory for state run companies, the armed services and other organizations until 1989.”
Darryl Kerney says
in the Gulag Archipelago, Solzhenitsyn referenced Pravda many times, and exposed the horrific realities of the “untruth” it published, it must have been the model that Orwell based his Ministry of Truth on, the quintessential socialist publication named “Truth” in Russian, as used by the marxist socialist Politburo was the very definition of totalitarian propaganda and blatant lies inflicted upon the audience by force.

Are there even two things that Islam does that are truly likeable?

On the date of September , 11, 2017 I had bought Robert Spencer’s book THE COMPLETE INFIDELS GUIDE TO THE KORAN and then read it through .It was well written and very informative.. The only negative thing I can keyboard about this book is that it does not cover all the thing that are wrong with religious book of Islam, the Koran, [Qu ran] For to go over all of the Qu’ran errors and falsehood and flaws would require volumes.
Therefore is should be known that since the very foundation of and for Islam is the Quran ,this leads to very important question: “Is the Quran the Word of God or is it a fabrication of a man. Thus, is the Quran the truth or a fiction and a hoax ?” The answer is clearly given on pages 145 through 157 in THE ISLAMIC INVASION by Robert Morey in which he wrote a section on the Quran with its self-contradictions. Just two of the many he cited are the following “The Quran differs on whether a day is a thousand years or fifty thousand years in God’s sight’ and “Who was first to believe? Abraham or Moses [Sura 6:14 versus 7:143]? The above is inconsistent and illogical. Further, Morey wrote about “The fact that Judaism and Christianity broke up into different sects was used in the Quran to prove that they are not of God [Suras 30:20-32. 42:13, 14]. Yet Islam has broken up into many warring sects and therefore cannot be true if the Quran is right.”
Moreover, Morey in his book shows many more contradictions and absurdities in the Quran, there are and how Muhammad incorporated extra Biblical and Jewish folklore along with pre-Islamic Arabian myth and parts of Zoroastrian and Hindu stories into the Quran. Furthermore, the Muslims claim that “the Quran is the direct, literal word of God unmodified in any way by the Prophet who uttered them at the bidding of God.” Nevertheless, in the book UNVEILING ISLAM by Ergun Mehmet Caner and Eethi Caner has shown that the Quran was modified in the following account on pages 45. “Muhammad felt the need to improve on the words of Allah, since he changed Allah’s wisdom for his own on several occasions. A hadith tells of the nonchalant emendations of Muhammad:’ On a number of occasions he [a scribe] had, with the Prophet’s consent changed the closing words of verses. For example, when the prophet had said ‘God is mighty and wise ‘ Adbollah b. Abi Sarh suggested writing down ‘Knowing and wise’ and the Prophet answered that there was no objection. Having observed a succession of changes of this type, Adbollah renounced Islam on the grounds that revelations, if from God could not be changed at the prompting of a scribe such as himself. After his apostasy he went to Mecca and joined the Qorayshites.’ Other writers reveal that later Muhammad and his people did go war with the Qorayshites and he personally killed Abdollah. Obviously Abdollah knew too much and Muhammad wanted Abdollah’s knowledge to die with him.” In conclusion, the Quran is not only a fiction, it’s also a hoax.
In addition a claim by Muslims scholars is that no one can produce something as beautiful as the Quran in the way the words are arranged and thus it can only be of God. This claim should be answered.
First, all someone has to do is examine some of the great works of literature to fine much written beauty. Such as the Greek epic poet Homer with his Iliad and Odyssey and then Virgil who produced the Aeneid has beauty. Even one of the non-Bible books in the Apocrypha called The Song of Three Children is also very beautiful. Thus just because someone sees a work that is written in great beauty doesn’t mean it’s inspired by God.
Second, the scholar Edward Gibbon wrote after an examination of the Quran that it is an “incoherent jumble of fable and precept and declamation which seldom excites a sentiment or an idea, sometimes craws in the dust and is sometimes lost in the clouds…” The writer Thomas Carlyle wrote the Quran is “A wearisome jumble, crude, incondite [with] endless iterations [and] longwindedness…” Likewise, the philosopher David Hume was NOT favorably impressed after reading the Quran.
[Source of the three scholars mentioned – Secrets of The Koran: Revealing Insight Into Islam’s Holy Book .56,66, by Don Richardson]
Furthermore, the following should be taken into consideration.
Of course the Muslim who reads the Quran will see great beauty in the way the words are arranged. This is, in part, because of the power of suggestion after being told so many times that the Quran is so beautifully written. That’s an old brainwashing method, repeating and being told that same thing again and again. Since he or she is always being told the same lie will end up believing that lie. In addition to that, the Imams try to discourage their people from reading other works, such as the Bible, so then they don’t have much or anything to compare or contrast the Quran with. Of course there are some Muslim’s that do read other works, but they are exceptions and they read other things only after they were already brainwashed by the Imams. In short, the Muslims can’t read the Quran objectively because their Imams have programmed them to have a strong bias towards it.

Walter Sieruk says
For a understanding of the actual nature of the Quran. Others call it, the Koran a person needs to look back in time before the coming of Muhammad and then the Koran. Back to the First Century AD which was the time of early Christian church. For the Early Christian Church had and now in modern times the Christian church still has the Gospel of Christ, First Corinthians 15:1-4. Much later, in time, came Muhammad and he gave much information, that many believe to be divine, some of which is said to have been obtained from an angle from heaven. This information was written down on different objects and things Those written words in different objects was then compiled together and then eventually went into the composition of what is now called the Koran, As some also call it the Qur’an. The Koran is actually, that is in reality, another gospel, apart and greatly different from the Gospel of the Christian Church. Such a thing was predicted in the Bible. For the Bible does warn about those who will come and offer to people another gospel other than the one shown above, First Corinthians 15:1-4. For it is warned about any other “gospel” in the Bible. For it is written in the Bible “Though we or an angle from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so I say now again, if any man preaches any other gospel unto you than ye have received, let him be
accursed.” Galatians 1:8, 9. [K.J.V.]
Therefore, the Koran is the result of the deception of a false prophet, Mathew 7:15., who may have come in contact with a fallen angle, a demon, So the imams and mullahs who preach it a truth to other are accused of and by God.
Rick Spencer says
Very well-written, Walter. However, the need for some editing and minor corrections is evident.
