If the right deal between Israel and the “Palestinians” is discovered, this anti-Semitism will melt away, won’t it? Won’t it?
No. Find out why in my new book, The Palestinian Delusion: The Catastrophic History of the Middle East Peace Process, which you can preorder here.
“25-year-old insulted and spit on in rabble-rousing,” translated from “25-Jähriger volksverhetzend beleidigt und angespuckt,” Polizei.Brandenburg, July 27, 2019 (thanks to Searchlight Germany):
When a 25-year-old German had just left a streetcar on Saturday afternoon, he was suddenly spat upon and insulted in an anti-Semitic manner by a 19-year-old Syrian. The 25-year-old, wearing a kippah, immediately alerted the police by means of a distress call. The police of the state of Brandenburg notified the Federal Police, who were able to arrest the perpetrator in front of the Potsdam Central Station. A 17-year-old companion was also found on the scene, but since no action was taken, he is to be brought in as a witness in the now-opened criminal case.
The police filed an ad-hoc complaint and dismissed the 19-year-old after discovering his personal details and an address where he can be served a summons.

James says
Anti-semitism will not melt away in part because the Palestinians do not want to resolve the conflict with the Israelis. And in Minneapolis rsentments and hatred did not melt awway on the part of Ilhan Omar when she was elected to Congress. When they are somewhere where non-Muslims form the government they have to live under, then they are likely to resent that too. Or is the Muslim leaders of Iran want to create a caliphate, they can be expected to continue their resentment and conflict-orientation..

“a 19-year-old Syrian.”
Was he a “refugee”? In any case, this shouldn’t be surprising – I mean, in Syria a minister said that Christians and muslims should join forces to go after Jews. Politics goes downwind from culture, and who, in their right mind, would expect a “refugee” to leave his culture outside the border?…

More of that wonderful Muslim antisemitism…

Germans replaced the Nazis with anti-Semitic Islamo-fascists who idolize Mohammed, instead of Hitler, but many Muslims like Hitler too.
Gork says
And because of his “culture,” they will bend over backwards and make an exception.
I’ll bet it was his “first offense.” But heaven forbid that a Christian or Jew should do the opposite. You’d never stop hearing about in the news.

Germany had made great strides in trying to atone for the unatonable and to become a decent country. Since the late 60s, they have accepted responsibility and educated their young people about the Holocaust. Since 2015, however, they are tolerating intolerence in the name of tolerance. They are not protecting their Jewish citizens, which more than any other nation, is their special responsibility.
Merkel should go on national TV and publicly tell the “newcomers” that Germany will not allow their Jews to be harassed, and deportations will result. Of course, they first need to stop the flow of new Jew haters into their country. Of course, this is all wishful thinking on my part. I never thought that Europeans would allow their Jews to be treated like this again. They have important choices to make and they need to make them fast.

In Germany, one man insults another and allegedly spits on him.
In California a teenager kills three people, including a six year old, and injures fifteen others with a high powered firearm, which he’s legally entitled to own.
In Washington, an intellectually impaired, habitually dishonest, narcissistic, bombastic politician voices yet another stream of racist abuse, insulting and offending millions of his fellow citizens.
Which of these cases inspires outrage among Jihad-watchers? Well, one of the offenders is a Syrian, and possibly worships the wrong deity. You couldn’t make it up.
Kay says
Outrage? People may have it about many things and not speak of it here. And that is because this is jihad watch. You must be new here. Have you heard of jihad? Were there only one incident of religious intolerance and displayed only by spitting, there would be no reason to watch.
Rod says
Were there only one instance of mass murder by an American with guns, there would be no reason to watch.
Were there only one instance of abhorrent behaviour by the “leader” of the free world, there would be no reason to watch.
Are you quite sure your priorities make sense? One man insults another – and dozens of people across the world hold an earnest discussion on the grave importance of this event. Weird indeed.
All the while blithely unaware of how your behaviour mirrors that of people you profess to abhor.
Kay says
My behavior?
People I abhor?
You have filled in quite a few blanks and created your own fantasy.
There are many human institutions that seek to better the world. To blame one because it is not the other makes no sense.
To justify evil by comparison to an example of appalling evil (or a political opinion) merely justifies evil and does not improve anything.
Giacomo Latta says
Which one is the worst case? I pick… the (Syrian-)American who killed 49 people in Orlando. Have you only been made aware of three mass killings up till now?

“Rod” is pretending that the Muslim hatred of Jews stops at insults and assault–but this is, of course, quite false. Increasingly, Jews have been subject to violent attacks. Islam calls for violence against Jews, including genocide.
Then, he is pretending that opposing antisemitism is “racist”. What crap.
Then, “Rod’s” claim that the Gilroy shooter was in lawful possession of these firearms is *quite* false. Is he lying, or just ignorant?
And the implication that opposing an antisemitic assault on a Jewish person is–somehow–itself a form of violence is just sick–but not unsurprising from “Rod”.
Rod says
gi (I refuse to use your pen name. It’s ridiculous), I am not “pretending” anything, least of all what you allege. Why cannot you and your friends address what I say, and not pretend to address what you pretend I have said? Your reply is, as so often, lies, and you are a liar.
Kay, I refer not to you in person, sorry, but to the behaviour of your fellow fanatics – racist, intolerant, often dishonest, often hysterical, hate-filled, ignorant. Behaviour which is always reminiscent of, and often identical with that of the lunatic fanatical racists of the 1930s and the tragic years which followed. I hope you abhor them, but I have to wonder.
Meanwhile, we have Mr Spencer, combing little known publications from around the world, to discover that one man has, in a small town in Germany, insulted another man in an anti-Semitic way. Disturbed by this news, dozens of enthusiasts gather online to discuss the matter, and, as usual, fervently agree with each other (is there never a dissenting or moderating voice?) that because of the offender’s supposed religion, this is indeed a grave and weighty matter, calling, among other things, for action by the German government.
Sorry, but you’re nuts.
Kay says
Rod,
I have answered what you said.
You and I have different political opinions.
I think your choice of words is inflamatory.
Please look up what is happening to Jews in Europe. The story here is but a small example yet that doesn’t mean it should be ignored.
Rod says
Kay,
racism and religious intolerance are NOT political opinions.

At the Illinois Holocaust Museum this week. So much of this is very sensitive.
Surprised the museum had many turns in hallways which ended in dark lighting or dark topics of displays — such as ending at an exhibit with a rail car ….end of the tracks… or showing images of Hitler in every other room — very disconcerting and anxiety producing stuff for visitors who may be susceptible …
Also surprising is the museum didn’t seem to exhibit persecution of Jews or Christians in contemporary times nor mention history of jihad ….
Looking forward to the book “Palestinian Delusion” by Robert Spencer….

It is a surprise that they did not write that it was a “Nazi”, especially in Brandenburg where all crimes against Merkel’s guests are attributed to the “right wingers” as long as not proven different. What about the Eritrean who pushed a mother and her 8-year old in front of a speed train, killing the child and traying to push another man in front of that train? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/07/29/child-killed-pushed-front-train-germany/
When will the Germans wake up? Probably never. Now the German press and politicians are crying foul because the POTUS is about to laben the Antifa terrorists because that’s what they are. In Germany they are supported financially by the leftist parties.
mortimer says
Agree with Heidi. I think German Leftists are so filled with irrational hate for German conservatives that they cannot see that their supposed Muslim allies actually hate them too and will turn on the Left whenever they feel they have gained the upper hand. Muslims hate leftism because it is populated mostly by atheists and agnostics.

Today I had someone hurl a racial slur at me because I’m white.
I’m starting to feel the heat intensify and I know part of it is due to the rant they are turning up on the media about ‘racism’ and blaming whites. The ignorant fall for it. Anyway, I’ve decided to move at some point in the future. Count me in on that exodus folks!
