Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

UN: 22 countries, none from the Islamic world, condemn China’s treatment of Muslims

Jul 12, 2019 3:00 pm By Robert Spencer

The West is a much easier, softer target than China. Islamic groups are doing well in the West, gaining almost complete acceptance of Sharia blasphemy laws, and managing to place a massive stigma on opposition to jihad terror and Sharia oppression. Whining about “Islamophobia” in the West gets massive results. Whining about genuine oppression of Muslims in China — that’s a different matter.

“22 countries signed an ‘unprecedented’ letter condemning China’s oppression of Muslims. But none of them come from the Islamic world.” By Alexandra Ma, Business Insider, July 12, 2019:

22 countries have banded together to condemn China’s oppression of its Muslim minority, in what activists called an ” unprecedented move.” But Muslim countries were conspicuously absent from the statement as the Islamic world continues to turn a blind eye.

In the Wednesday letter, written by UN Human Rights Council member states, the signatories called on China to “refrain from the arbitrary detention and restrictions on freedom of movement of Uighurs, and other Muslim and minority communities in Xinjiang.”

Those 22 signatories are: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK….

This sounds like the “process” as opposed to the “product” orientation. By that, I mean a country is expected to adhere to a particular protocol in dealing with people, regardless of the consequences. An example of this is when the European Court of Human Rights insists that England not deport a convicted Islamic terrorist because the terrorist is likely to be killed when sent back to his country. So, the process of “human rights” is valued above any possible concerns of security or even justice.

China is faced with a massive and cohesive group of Muslims within its borders, whose values are pretty obviously counter to Chinese values. Does the West tell the Chinese how to handle their internal security threats? The Chinese wouldn’t listen anyway, as the article points out. But there is the issue of whether we in the West are better off by insisting there be a universal protocol for treating potential dangers, or by conceding most countries have a legitimate interest in handling their security matters in their own way.

Nothing is free. There are definite risks in conceding there is no international body of principles in treating security matters and citizen rights. But it seems logical to assume that any state weak enough to have to give credence to international virtue signalling would be the state weak enough to be especially vulnerable to an internal security risk.

On the whole, I’m happy the US Trump government had the sense to stay out of the issue.

Maybe the the jihadists of ISIS and other Islamic violent Islamic terror organizations are too scared to “take on” Red China . Meaning that they fear starting something they can’t finish with that large Communist nation.

So the jihad -minded Muslims take on “soft target nations” Which are the Western countries. Jihadists always complain about “oppressed Muslims” of Western nations. What a joke. In the West Muslims have in better than in China. In fact ,many Muslims would rather live in a Western nation than even in an Islamic Middle eastern country.

This is similar to a playground school bully who know he better not mess with push around a aggressive strong kid who strikes back.if hit.

This does ,very much , hint that the Muslims who are also jihadists aren’t really as brave and courageous as they like the world to see them as. Maybe this “brave” image that they strive for is only that , an “image”.

That’s why I think it’s gonna get real ‘interesting’ in Africa, when Muslim expansion and Chinese economic colonization eventually butt heads. If we have to choose, I’ll cheer the Chinese. Communism eventually defeats itself and dissipates; Islam is much harder to get rid of.

Apparently not, or they would be condemning China as well. Surely lebel must understand that his claim here makes no sense? (Probably he realizes this, but hopes that we won’t).

The fact is that China is enabling Jihad in many parts of the world, just not in China itself. Most Muslims consider this to be an acceptable trade off–they don’t much care about their own coreligionists, as we see all the time.

I suppose that’s true enough, lebel. Maybe they are like chess players, offering pawns, or rooks, knights, bishops in order to win..

The tough part for them is to admit as much.

But Uighur Muslims should have figured this out long since. And if they used their brains, they should either consider themselves martyrs for Islam (agreeing with the other Muslims they suffer for the greater good of Islam, because China now helps the Muslim nations and jihadists against the real enemies, Israel, America, the democratic nations,

Or they should consider to leave such a ruthless treacherous religion en masse. And no longer fight the one group of nations that actually cares about them and thus HELP their oppressors.

Islam is not true, the Uighur were not always Muslims. Converting to Islam and staying in it was/ is a huge mistake and a choice, not an accident of birth.

        Jul 13, 2019 at 4:04 am

“Surely lebel must understand that his claim here makes no sense? ”

it goes like this, GI: for the libellous lebel everyone here claims that all muslims think the same and act the same, and that all muslims at all times act in accordance to islamic teachings. Therefore, if a muslim acts in a way that can not be explained under islam everyone here is wrong. It’s the classic definition of what in logic is described as “strawman”. When you look at it from that angle, lebel’s nonsense actually makes kind of sense.

And the irony? lebel, not jihadwatchers, is the one that assumes that all muslims are terrorists.

moslims don’t really care about other moslims. They don’t care about their own family members; they don’t care about other “sects” and they certainly don’t care about a group in another country that by caring, would gain them nothing in the long run.

If by abstaining from condemning China, the moslim countries believe they can profit in the game of terror and world domination, then those moslims in China are nothing but fodder.

It’s hard to feel sorry for a group that would just as easily wish me dead and China will do as China will…no matter which countries accuse them of human rights violations.

SH, I agree with you that that is the case in many instances. But I also know that Muslims genuinely love Muhammad, more so than their own flesh and blood (and they are proud of that), so much so that they genuinely believe that blood-soaked, manipulative barbarian to have been second only to God in perfection. They are sincerely hurt by anything less than total abject respect for Muhammad and any suggestion of the slightest shortcoming on his part. It is a seriously f*cked up psychology. Also keep in mind that violent behaviour is integral to Muslim life. Whether a particular Muslim actually engages in it or not, they approve of it; it is part of the creed. Not only does Allah command it many times over, but the perfect human did it all the time and grossly so. So emulating his life, i.e., doing exactly as he did, is a great Muslim virtue.

So yes, you are right. There are many who take to violent rioting at the drop of a hat because they’re simply thugs and brutes, but they are also steeped in a culture of violence over and above which lies an extreme sensitivity to anything concerning their pathologically-violent prophet whose name they can never utter without the appendage “peace be upon him” (irony has never been their strong point).

Logic and goodness don’t necessarily go together. The strategic thinking of jihadists and China is logical. China would be fine selling weapons to jihadist nations and having them go to war with America, thus weakening what they consider to be the greatest threat to China’s hegemony . Islamists know the will of the West is weaker. They are strategically thinking that confronting China after the West is destroyed makes more sense than losing a potential ally in China and oil revenue just so they can make a statement for the losing cause of supporting Muslims in China.

Yep too. I see a “triangle” of The West, China and Islamic countries, of potentiall enemies who have to choose whom to fight and whom to appease and use against the third. The Islamic leaders think they cannot take on the whole world. And that China is the lesser of 2 evils.

Both China and the vast majority of Islamic nations are dictatorial. And domestically they both loath human rights. That they have in common. Against their common enemy; the West, which has the best domestic record of keeping human rights of the 3 sides. And the West places higher importance on international human rights than the other 2 corners of the triangle. The West is not placing human rights internationally highest on priority list either, and lets at least security reasons and maybe strategic reasons trump human rights. But on principle the West does not let commercial reasons trump humans rights.

But the other 2 sides don’t think human rights are important or relevant at all, domestically or international. Not even for co-religionists. For instance; will China help Communists in Islamic countries?

    • WPM says

      Jul 13, 2019 at 7:35 am

Islam at this point in time sees China as the stronger horse politically because China does not care about human rights or gives a tinker damn what the rest of the western world thinks of its human rights record. China has willingly killed millions of its own non-Moslem citizens who did not “fit” into its program of what a good” Chinese citizen” should be like in the not too distance past of the 1960s “cultural revolution” .If the west falls first to Islamic Sharia lead societies then the Moslems will be stronger enough to take on a country like China when it suits the long term plans.

Yep too again. We can try to distinquish crimes against humanity (humans) from whoever is committing them and whoever is victimized. And we can try to condemn them wherever they occur.

And there are other real or perceived Muslim victims; Palestinians, Rohingya. And so-called Islamophobia threathens Muslims in the West is alleged by Muslims.

But Israeli’s and Myanmar Buddhists and Western nations are chastised all the time by Muslims (and their leftist allies) for violating human rights while China’s crimes are much bigger, China is indeed using “concentration camps” (tell that to AOC).

It would be refreshing if the Islamic and leftist leaders at least acknowledged their prejudice and double standards to the world, their huge selection bias. The most nauseating aspect is their pretense of only caring about victims, in a neutral way.

“‘Whining about “Islamophobia” in the West gets massive results. Whining about genuine oppression of Muslims in China — that’s a different matter.”

Same with whinging about “diversity” and “racism” in non-Western countries. Do that in Japan or South Korea and you’ll be met with something between indifference and scorn. Here, it pays–and thus we’re getting more and more of it despite being the most diverse and least racist place on the planet. Just a big reverse psychology, kabuki theater “gimme-gimme” con-job. With that said, it’s so ingrained as truth in the minds of younger generations that they just assume there’s veracity to it–and we’re getting the snarling, historical revisionist “politicians” to prove it. Not long ago several thousand Middle Eastern “refugees” began a process for making themselves at home in South Korea as they’d done in Western Europe and in no time at all a petition held over 500,000 signatures telling them it wasn’t happening. That’s roughly 1% of the population. A petition in the U.S. representing a similar proportion would hold 3.3 million. South Korea has virtually no refugees. We have over 20 million illegal immigrants here and it’s getting worse all the time. Nobody says boo as we’ve been so demoralized through propaganda to the extent we literally will not defend ourselves. And yet we’re the racists and South Koreans are just dandy. As are the Japanese. Mexico City and Beijing are precious the way they are while London, 60% foreign born, is wringing its hands over increasing ties with Pakistan and is “open,” according to its mayor who oversees rising street crime with 900 police officers dedicated to trawling the internet enforcing Islamic blasphemy laws.

Democracies are one of, probably *the* least worst forms of government. But perhaps their biggest potential weakness is vulnerability to infiltration. A democracy without a border will simply perish as an organism without an immune system would.

I think the reason is that they realize that they don’t have much of a case here as China treats ALL organized religions equally. And Islam is a special case requiring extra harshness due to its problematic Jihad theology, vulnerable to misuse.
Ultimately the Chinese Muslims will benefit as ‘religion is poison’ (Mao).
