The superior general of the Jesuits, Father Arturo Sosa Abascal, has declared “that no country has the right to turn away migrants” because in his view, “the goods of the land are for everyone.” Sosa also claims that “migrants come to make a contribution, which is greater than what they receive from the host country”; never mind the advancement of Islamization, and Germany’s admission that 75% of its migrants face long-term unemployment and life on benefits, and the fact that in Switzerland over 80% of Somali migrants are on welfare.
Sosa knows nothing, or pretends to know nothing, about the Islamic doctrine to conquer the House of War, which is harmful to the Christian faith which he professes to serve, as well as to every aspect of a free society. He is living in the past, in an age when most Western countries once operated on a point system to ensure that immigration was beneficial to the host country. Under such a system, migrants who offered no benefit to a country or who may have been discovered to have a dangerous background or a harmful communicable disease were sometimes turned away. In Sosa’s view, no one should be refused, and all borders should be eradicated.
Sosa is, not surprisingly, a loyal follower of the Pope of Islam — who has incessantly advocated for open-door policies and mass migration. Sosa also believes in that there is a “plan that originated in the United States to force Pope Francis to resign” and “bring in a new one who will discontinue deepening the path that Francis has indicated and undertaken.”
In Sosa’s flawed reasoning that the land belongs to “everyone,” that “everyone” would include Islamic State fighters who have infiltrated the refugee stream, as well as jihadis from Boko Haram, al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, and drug lords and the like.
What makes Sosa so dangerous as a Catholic Church leader is that there are many who trust him and follow in his footsteps. He is a blind guide who has chosen to ignore the realities of modern-day migration problems in the West. Unfortunately, this unfit leader has forgotten the victims of jihad and Islamic supremacy.
“Jesuit Chief: No Country Has the Right to Turn Away Migrants,” by Thomas D. Williams, Breitbart, August 24, 2019:
The superior general of the Jesuits declared this week that no country has the right to turn away migrants, claiming the land belongs to everyone.
“The challenge for a country that receives migrants is not only reception, but integration, which means receiving the contribution that immigrants bring,” said Jesuit Father Arturo Sosa Abascal in an interview with Tempi.it.
“They come to make a contribution, which is greater than what they receive from the host country,” he claimed, seemingly without evidence.
“Italians must remember their own experience,” he continued.
“They came to Latin America, including my country of Venezuela, and they were welcomed; they became part of society in the same way as everyone else, and today they are not considered ‘different’,” he said, drawing a somewhat dubious comparison between the largely legal migration of Italians to South America and Europe’s largely unregulated migrant crisis.
“In Europe we must recognize the contribution that migrants make to the societies that receive them and thank them for it,” the Jesuit added.
Then, in one of his more controversial claims, Father Sosa said that nations have no right to enforce their borders because in the end, the land belongs to everyone.
“Those who live in a given territory have no right to turn away migrants,” he said, “because they have no absolute right to that territory. They do not own it; the goods of the land are for everyone.”….

This is the same man who last week said that Satan was not real but rather symbolic. If that is true then he must also believe that God is just symbolic. The Roman Catholic Church does not and never has taught such things. I can’t believe what is coming from the hierarchy of my Church. Unless we get a Pope (very soon) who can turn things around I think another schism will be inevitable.
FYI says
Well ,he would say that wouldn’t he?
1971 pope paul VI said “the smoke of satan has entered the church”
He was talking about the RCC Administrators{Fatima 1917 warning about ecclesiastical freemasonry}NOT the Catholic Faith itself{which the current pontiff seems intent on destroying see the Prophecy of St Francis of Assisi btw}
Now that Mr Bergoglio and his revolting henchmen are running the RCC, the last thing they want is for anyone to realize that it is THEY that are the “smoke of satan” Paul VI was talking about.
So of course it in their Worldly,Christ-denying interest to say “satan is not real but symbolic”
The PERFECT deception and deflection tactic!
Just whaat satan needs to come to power via 2 Thessalonians 2
CogitoErgoSum says
I look at this priest’s denial of Satan’s existence as a denial of anything concerning the spiritual. If evil spirits are just symbolic why wouldn’t good spirits be symbolic also? If spirits are all symbolic, what about the human spirit known as the soul? Wouldn’t that just be symbolic too? If the soul is symbolic then the only thing that is “real” is the physical and there is no need for priests or churches or any kind of religion whatsoever. If the only thing that is “real” is what we experience with our senses then why would the value of a human being be any more or any less than that of a piece of land? In fact, couldn’t a piece of land sometimes be worth MORE to me than a human being if the land contained certain resources that were more useful to me than another human being is? If I decide that the land is more valuable, why shouldn’t I just take it and keep it by any means possible and why should I share it with anybody? All that would matter to me is me and what I need.
My conclusion: I don’t think this priest should be telling me anything about what to do with my land or my country.
CogitoErgoSum says
Of course, if I do accept the belief that there actually are such things as good spirits and bad spirits and that I have a soul, then I tend also to believe in the words of Jesus. He did not tell his disciples to go and tell the world that the land, (which for them would have been Israel) belonged to everyone who wants to live there and to come as quickly as possible by any means of transportation possible. No, Jesus told his disciples to go out into the world and to the lands of people who had not heard the teachings of Jesus. Take the Gospel to the people into THEIR lands. In other words, go to them and don’t make them come to you. Go to their lands and teach them THERE. I get nothing from the words of Jesus that all land all over the world and the goods thereof belong to everyone. Jesus never said that. I think this priest misunderstands Jesus, the Bible, his Catholic religion …. everything he should understand.

“migrants come to make a contribution, which is greater than what they receive from the host country”…
So why don’t they save themselves the trouble of the journey and make their contributions to the lands of their birth? Or is Father Abascal just spouting a catalogue of drivel? Because (a) the establishment and public welfare accounts of the host countries usually start showing a massive deficit when migrants appear on the scene and (b) we never seem to hear migrants expressing any desire to make the lives of the hosts better – rather they seem to expect their hosts to provide them with a 5-star lifestyle.
I think either Father Abascal has either been reading too much Karl Marx or watching too many Disney cartoons.

Exactly. If some stranger comes knocking on your door and claims the right to take up residence in your legally-owned house, what would be your justifiable reaction? If this Abascal character is seriously suggesting that no identifiable human group has a right to ownership and control of a particular area of territory, he is flying in the face history, logic, and even the specific remits of the United Nations. Or is he suggesting that we should not be recognising human (national, whatever) groups at all? In which case, how would he propose to re-write the human psychology blueprint to eliminate the herding instinct? Or if he couldn’t do that, would he ban the right to free association, in which case he’d find himself in trouble with the International Declaration of Human Rights. If the entire planet became a free-for-all for all humanity to occupy willy-nilly with no recognisable groups taking ownership responsibility for any particular areas, what would be the result? I suggest that the world would turn into a vast global slum, much as has been seen to happen time and time again in inner-city areas where residents are shipped into social housing facilities and are never encouraged to assume any responsibility for the place and the people – if it’s not yours, you trash it at your will (or lack of it), which is exactly what we’re seeing anyway as (say) migrants in Germany and Sweden ‘make themselves at home’ . And would Father Abascal accept the blame for the mess?
Aussie Infidel says
Has Abascal been influenced by the Pope? Or has the Pope been influenced by him? Either way these two leaders of their faith are betraying their own people. Or in their ignorance, are they simply throwing up a smoke screen to protect another ‘religion’?
Abascal claims that “migrants come to make a contribution, which is greater than what they receive from the host country.” That is no doubt true of many immigrants, but much less so for Muslims. Does Abascal not know that most Muslim immigrants live on welfare for many years after their migration? Is he aware that Islamic jihadis are killing Christians in virtually every country they migrate to? And by raiding villages in neighbouring countries, abducting and enslaving women and children?
Does this learned Jesuit not know why these atrocities are happening? Has he not read the Islamic scriptures? Does he not know that they contain hundreds of verses calling on Muslims to wage jihad against infidels to subjugate their religions and cultures? Does Abascal expect Christians and other Westerners to simply ‘turn the other cheek’ when confronted by murdering jihadis? Is this what he expects his people to endure from Muslim immigrants, so he can claim the moral high ground for Christianity? Does Abascal believe Jesus commanded Christians to commit religious and cultural suicide?
Does this Christian leader not understand the Islamic doctrine of Hijra or ‘migration in the cause of Allah’? No doubt many Muslims migrate to other countries for social and economic reasons, but many are also responding to their Prophet’s call for hijra to spread the faith. And to Muslims, spreading the faith means imposing Islam on everyone; and in many circumstances it means conversion to Islam or execution. Muslims do not tolerate any other faith but Islam – unless the conquered Christians agree to live as dhimmis or second class citizens under Islamic rule and pay the Jizya protection tax.
Is this what Abascal wants when he says that “no country has the right to turn away migrants”? Or does he mistakenly believe that Islam is just another relatively benign religion like Christianity, Judaism or Buddhism? And if we treat Muslims with respect, they will learn to like us and eventually assimilate into Western societies? And no doubt some will, but their leaders – who are mostly sociopaths or psychopaths – will continue to maintain the theocratic apartheid between the Islamic and non-Muslim worlds that Muhammad devised 1,400 years ago.

Abascal is just another communist jesuit. Wake me when he gets elected to a public office.

“His irregular legal status cannot allow the migrant to lose his dignity, since he is endowed with inalienable rights, which can neither be violated nor ignored. Illegal immigration should be prevented, but it is also essential to combat vigorously the criminal activities which exploit illegal immigrants. The most appropriate choice, which will yield consistent and long-lasting results is that of international co-operation which aims to foster political stability and to eliminate underdevelopment. The present economic and social imbalance, which to a large extent encourages the migratory flow, should not be seen as something inevitable, but as a challenge to the human race’s sense of responsibility.” Message of Pope John Paul II for World Migration Day, 1996

This moron should just convert to Church of England and be done with it. Interesting that one of Pope Francis’ intimates should speak of a plot hatched in the US to overthrow the Pope. This reveals a deep animus toward the “yankee”, obviously shared by this Pope, so common in Catholic prelates from South America.
Kepha says
What can you expect? The USA’s roots are entangled with a very Protestant vision of God and the world, so the “deep animus toward the ‘yankee'” which you mention is to be expected.
gravenimage says
Having Protestant roots does *not* mean that Americans want to harm Catholics.
Kepha says
I get it about human dignity and the rest. I am also all for compassion towards the stranger. Indeed, one of the things that makes me humbly grateful (rather than proud) to be an American is that our immigration laws attempt to accommodate humanitarian concerns as well as the needs of the American people. I believe this is one thing that reflects the biblical roots (often unacknowledged) of the American mind.
However, having lived and worked as a foreigner in Far Formosa (Taiwan), and having had to honor someone else’s immigration law, I believe strongly that no country needs to acquiesce in being made a prey–and, unfortunately, the behavior of too many Muslim migrants in Europe raises this as a very real problem.
Arturo Sosa Abascal raises the situation of his own Italian ancestors in Venezuela. My guess is that Italian immigrants integrated very well into a Venezuelan society with which they shared a number of cultural features and to which they came with the intention of building a new life within it and contributing to it. The same is the case with many other migrants who move in, contribute, and assimilate to a passable degree . Similarly, migrant contributions may also be adopted by the host culture. But, no society can afford to take in a migration that turns out to be downright hostile and willing to act as a kind of guerrilla invasion.

Just what “book” do these fools read that gives them such insane ideas, including the idea that they have the authority to tell everyone else what to do, what is right, what is wrong, etc.?
God gave the Jews their land, so they don’t have to allow in those who are ready and more than willing to kill them. And since moslims feel they have the “right” to all of the land with the claim that it all belongs to them, perhaps they could explain to him that they won’t share if allowed inside the borders in the numbers they want..
Why doesn’t this silly guy look at the Truth and realize that countries **do** in fact have a right to make laws…including the laws about borders and who is welcome inside. To prove this, all he would have to do is to read the book of Romans and just a few words from Jesus: “Pay Caesar’s things to Caesar and God’s things to God.”
Caesar has “things”…such as coins and taxes and they have laws about borders and those invading them.

I feel for the catholics here who have to comprehend this reprobate who leads the ‘intellectual’ wing of the church. His statement, “that no country has the right to turn away migrants” because in his view, “the goods of the land are for everyone” is simply…. false. And utterly so. The ‘goods’ of the land represents the opportunity to engage the world, it’s potential, and one’s one. The ‘material’ that the priest speak of, the ‘goods’, is ironically a very materialist view of what the lands of a nation represent.
This bloviator seems not to recognize all the boundaries of the world, that make for order, out of chaos, that make for right versus wrong, for rights of freedom, liberty, the right to succeed and fail.
Bloviating globalists of any stripe give the world away that belongs not to them, but of which they speak so glowingly whilst they live behind massive walls.

They can feel good about helping those poor people at the expense of the citizens who live in the areas of the city that are affected by these immigrants who are ill prepared to assimilate or find jobs to support themselves.
