Muslims commit a disproportionate number of terror attacks, but that is largely obscured today by the propaganda myth that “white supremacists” actually constitute a bigger threat. Cage is a pro-jihad group, supporting the late jihad mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki and even hosting talks by him. They also once featured as a speaker the imam Shakeel Begg, who has said that it was “inspiring to be amongst some of our brothers who made hijra in the path of Allah, who made jihad in the path of Allah, who suffered in the path of Allah, our brothers from Guantanamo Bay. May Allah have mercy upon them, may Allah accept all their good deeds and all their fasting especially in the month of Ramadan, and may Allah grant them jannah [Paradise].” It’s a sign of how far gone Britain really is that an outfit so unsavory as Cage would be the darling of the trendy Left, and be showered with donations from Leftists who despise their own nation and heritage, while foes of jihad terror are demonized, marginalized, and banned from the country.
Meanwhile, the effect of this admitted “anecdotal evidence” about the supposedly “Islamophobic” treatment of Muslims in British airports will have the effect of making security officials afraid to detain Muslims for any reasons. This will clear away a key obstacle for jihad terrorists, and result in the deaths of more Infidels in shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain.
“Detention of Muslims at UK ports and airports ‘structural Islamophobia,'” by Dan Sabbagh, Guardian, August 20, 2019 (thanks to Paul):
Muslims are being detained at ports and airports for up to six hours by law enforcement using controversial counter-terrorism powers so disproportionately that the practice has become Islamophobic, according to human rights group Cage.
The organisation added there is growing anecdotal evidence that Muslim women are being forced to remove their headscarves when stopped, even though the rate that such stops lead to a conviction is 0.007%, according to Cage’s analysis of 420,000 incidences.
Cage said it had made a compliant to the policing regulator, the Independent Office for Police Conduct, on behalf of 10 people, and had written to MPs on the all-party group on British Muslims to spell out the extent of its concerns with so-called schedule 7 stops.
In the letter, Adnan Siddiqui, the director of Cage, said that tens of thousands of people were being subject to “suspicionless stops” and that “the practice is a manifestation of structural Islamophobia, which is experienced as harassment”.
One Briton, Omer, who asked only to be identified by his first name, told the Guardian he had been stopped 40 times when returning to the UK since 2005 but has never been convicted of any offence.
Omer said: “I get stopped 95% of the time, coming back from Belgium, France and Italy.” He said he had become so fed up with being repeatedly questioned he often used one-word answers to reply.
A former medical professional, Omer was stopped at Heathrow returning from Lahore, Pakistan, after a flight in which he had helped a teenager having a fit. But on leaving the plane he was nevertheless questioned. “This is a law that is almost impossible to beat.”
Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000 allows people to be detained at the border for up to six hours if law enforcement is concerned they could be engaged in terrorist activities. Detainees have no right to silence, must surrender their phones, computers and passwords and provide fingerprints and DNA on request.
One of Cage’s complaints is that the Home Office does not respond to freedom of information requests breaking down the number of people stopped by their religion. But a study conducted by Cambridge University researchers in 2014 concluded 88% of those stopped were Muslim….

So they’re complaining that the system is working? There hasn’t been an “incident” in a while.

I know a good way to keep Muslims from being detained at airports. Don’t let them into your county in the first place. Ban them all.
CRUSADER says
How do you go about that?
“Are you a Muslim?”
“No.”
“Enter.”
CogitoErgoSum says
Ban the practice of Islam and see how many come.
CogitoErgoSum says
Seems to work pretty good for Saudi Arabia against Christians. I don’t see huge groups of Catholics and Protestants migrating to live there, do you?
James Lincoln says
CRUSADER,
It is possible to keep Muslims out of a country if that country practices EXTREME vetting.
Poland and Hungary do a pretty good job of it, and they also have a Judeo-Christian culture that does not attract Muslims in the first place…
CRUSADER says
Buying a set of one-way tickets to VISEGRAD mañana !
Are you in?
Save Europe says
James – you ARE partly correct, BUT Muslims do not favour going to Central European countries over Western European countries because they can get more welfare from the likes of the UK for example.
James Lincoln says
Save Europe,
Yes, the Muslim migrants are more attracted to the welfare states. Sweden is a great example.
It is a combination of things…

Black people face the same profiling. In America that leads to white police murdering black children. Gives a really nice impression of our country.

That’s a stupid comment Myles. Everybody know more black men, black women and black children are killed by other blacks than any other group.

Bat droppings no longer impacting church service in England: ‘We had to clean the pews every time’
A colony of 500 bats that had plagued a 1,000-year-old church in Braunston-in-Rutland, England with their bat droppings are no longer impacting services thanks to a new innovative project.

CogitoErgoSum says
Well, who would have thought that fixing cracks and holes in the church would have solved the problem. And who would think that keeping out people who follow an ideology that encourages fighting every step of the way against those who are not like them might actually decrease discord in the country. Who would think such a thing?

Leave it to Brits to finally figure things out after years of being guanoed upon their stiff upper lips!

Hard to take the Islamic complains seriously when the rest of us are entirely inconvenienced, shunned, and sorted when they are offered freer passage, en masse.
Does the same not occur so much at Italy airports?

So true.

The name Adnan Siddiqui reminded me of a friend telling me that when he was stationed at Wheelus Air Force Base in Libya back in the 1960’s that they Americans would call the locals Sidiqies from sidiq meaning friend but he added that they were hardly friendly. I am personally tired of Muslims complaining about a situation that they brought on themselves. Before Arafat began high jacking airplanes, going to the airport and boarding a plane was fun but now because of Islamic terrorism, it has become an ordeal for everyone so I don’t wish to listen or read of a Muslim complaining about security checks in which they brought upon us all.
CRUSADER says
Believe it not, during the 90’s in Coronado, I walked onto the SEAL base daily, no problems, and chummed with Team Three mates.
That all shut down by 2001, as with so much. Had to have specific reasons and clearances and invites.
Less fun these days.

Crusader,
Yes, Navy SEALs are a great bunch… I have one short sea story…
When I was on active duty Navy, I was sitting in the navigator seat of a C-130 heading for “somewhere in the Middle East”. We stopped for gas and picked up an entire SEAL team. After we took off again, I asked the pilots why we picked up the SEAL team. They both told me that we were going to land on a small grass landing strip that was not on any map. The Navy SEAL team’s job was to protect the airplane/crew/supplies while we conducted “logistic operations”. I said that it sounded like a dangerous place. They confirmed that it was. Luckily, we landed uneventfully, did what we had to do, and no shots were fired. But I sure was glad to get out of there. A few days later, we were hitting the casinos in Curaçao. You can’t make this up.

Let’s just say I came up with that Punisher theme earlier on.
Whole team, not just a platoon? Heck ! Hit the deck !
(That’s equivalent to an entire company in the army…)
SEALs usually go operational with a platoon being largest unit.
More likely it could’ve been a couple of squads you picked up?
Go Navy ! Hooyah ! USA ?? !!!
Curaçao ??
I’ll drink to that !

Yes, CRUSADER – 2 squads to be more precise… Definitely the muscle end of the Navy…

I cannot recall a middle aged Englishman or woman ever having been guilty of that, on the other hand……………….

I’d add, that as Muslims are NOT a race, I’d amend your comment to – ‘no Christian/Jew/Sikh/Hindu/Buddhist have been blowing up airports.’
Let us NOT give Muslims the ability to play the race card.

Another example of ‘victim jihad’. A manipulative method which works very well, giving them their own way – since they are superior to us.

“…Adnan Siddiqui, the director of Cage, said that tens of thousands of people were being subject to “suspicionless stops” and that “the practice is a manifestation of structural Islamophobia, which is experienced as harassment”.
Wrong. Millions of all kinds of innocent people worldwide are are being subjected to “suspicionless stops” and degrading security checks in order maintain freedom of travel in a civilised world that apparently has to tolerate the presence of muslims. Thirty or forty years ago, before muslims appeared on the scene in any numbers, you could just turn up at the airport with your luggage, buy a ticket, and get on a plane (as I believe you could still do that in the USA just prior to 9/11). It would be nice to return to those genteel days, but the only way that could happen would by not only to indulge in a little selective ‘structural Islamophobia’ (however these poor. sensitive souls experience it) but find a way either to impose an outright ban muslims travelling by air, or restrict them to muslim-only flights so that they could only blow themselves up if they chose. Very difficult if not impossible to enforce, I imagine. Meanwhile we tell the likes of Adnan Siddiqui to take a running jump.

Yes–Infidels world wide would never have to put up with this crap if it was not for Muslim terrorism.
