Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Tlaib’s “Palestinian” village is wealthy and thriving as she whines about “oppression”

Aug 23, 2019 4:00 pm By Robert Spencer

“War is deceit,” said Muhammad (Bukhari 4.52.268). Among “Palestinians” it’s a veritable art form.

“Tlaib’s Palestinian village is thriving, but she is in denial,” by Akiva Bigman, Israel Hayom, August 21, 2019:

What is it really like to live in the Palestinian village Beit-Ur al-Fauqa, where Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s grandmother and other family members live? Are conditions there as bad as she has claimed?

If you look at the Facebook profiles of people who actually live there, you will discover that things are actually not bad at all.

Achiam Tlaib, for example, drives a brand new BMW. On his Facebook account, you can see that his family lives in a very comfortable three-story building.

Raja Tlaib shared on his Facebook account pictures of himself posing next to his new Mercedes, wearing an expensive suit. He also has pictures showing him working out in a gym that has the latest equipment.

Mawaid Tlaib uploaded pictures of his vacations in Italy and other places, and Anas Tlaib has a very expensive Mercedes.

Samach Tlaib drives a BMW and Niaf Tlaib drives a Corvette convertible and uploaded pictures posing next to his new home under construction, also with three stories.

Many of them also have pictures showing them visiting places inside the Green Line (pre-1967 Israel): Jaffa, Acre, Tel Aviv and so on. So perhaps all those checkpoints that supposedly make Palestinian life so miserable are just a myth?

In fact, even the World Bank said in 2014 that the village is one of the richest in the region. The poverty rate in the village stood at 7.4 % in 2014, compared to the overall rate of 21% in the Palestinian Authority.

Only a handful of villages have a lower poverty rate in the PA and employment in the village is also among the lowest in the PA. But perhaps the most important statistic is this: The rate of social mobility in Beit-Ur al-Fauqa is among the highest in the PA.

According to a 2017 PA report on the quality of life of Palestinians, the village has 230 households.

The report says that 215 structures are considered private residences and four of them are actually single-family homes, attesting to their wealth.

More than 115 of the households are in apartments that have 5 bedrooms or more, and 65 of the households have four bedrooms….

Tlaib hasn’t been quoted here. Clearly hardly anyone seems to suffering in material terms, so what sort of ‘oppression has she been whingeing about? Or is it all just complete BS from beginning to end?

She was elected to look after the material needs of Americans. There are more needy Americans.

Just from the obvious dimensions, it would seem that she was elected to be an eventual replacement for “Mega Mouth Maxine”. They share a common largess of pie hole.

“Real Time” host Bill Maher issued a challenge to Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., on Friday night, calling for her to appear on his show to discuss their feud over an anti-Israel boycott effort.

Maher’s challenge came just days after the congresswoman suggested viewers might want to stop watching his weekly HBO talk show over the host’s recent comments about the boycott effort, known as the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Last week, Maher blasted BDS, calling it a “bulls— purity test by people who want to appear ‘woke’ but actually slept through history class.” That didn’t sit well with Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American to serve in Congress.

“Maybe folks should boycott his show,” Tlaib reacted on Twitter. “I am tired of folks discrediting a form of speech that is centered on equality and freedom. This is exactly how they tried to discredit & stop the boycott to stand up against the apartheid in S. Africa. It didn’t work then and it won’t now.”

Maher shot back, tweeting, “Some people have one move only: boycott. Cancel. Make-go-away. But here’s the thing, the house voted 318 to 17 to condemn the #BDS movement, including 93% of Dems. Does Tlaib want to boycott 93% of her own party?”

Maher mentioned the boycott Tlaib suggested during the panel discussion of Friday’s show, in which he and his guests debated what Maher described as an emerging “boycott culture.”

“We’ve invited her onto this show, I hope she comes,” Maher said. “But you know, if you come on this show, then you actually have to defend your point as opposed to this one go-to that so many people seem to have today, which is just go away because then you don’t have to argue, you don’t have to defend your point of view. Just go away, boycott, you’re bad, too evil to talk to and I’m too good to talk to you.”

Maher went on to list several boycott efforts that have been in the news, promoted either by liberals and conservatives, against products and services from Nike, Ben & Jerry’s, Equinox and SoulCycle, and Chik-fil-A.

The HBO star jokingly celebrated that he was “on both lists.”

Arabs should have accepted the Peel commission in the 1930s and other resolution and they would have their country and economy a long time ago.

So perhaps all those checkpoints that supposedly make Palestinian life so miserable are just a myth?

Oh yes Angemon…there is a lot of myths going on. The biggest myth is Talib herself. There is much more how bout Palestinians themselves…The real Palestinians are only the Jews…..God Himself gave this and much more lands to the Jews..no one seems to remember that. What the UN did way back when, was not what God decreed. Who’s more powerful God or the UN…and the next time a rocket falls anywhere in Israel they should go into all out war and take back ALL their God given lands and push these tent dwellers back in the desert so they can live in their tents.

The average salary in the West Bank is around $25 US, but everything is subsidized and so the cost of living in the West Bank is much lower than in the US.

Ah, those fangs gleaming in the moonlight!
They could devour all their prey.
That snarl… could undo king’s dinners… landing them back on the banquet table.
That evil glint in the eye, could slice through thousands with one glance of one eye…
leaving them… “breathless”… oh darling! My vampire darling!
Those crows eyes…. could scare away flocks of doves all with one glimpse…
And the dimples! Priceless. Not worth a penny!
Oh, what grand nostrils you have my dear!
They could hide whole armies in each one!
Such a thunderous disposition of anger, so fitting for a woman of her saddistical culture.
See, as she conspires with her companions, the evil smirk on her contemptuous mouth dripping with vitriolic hate and malice, the black smoke rising from her ears, the frowed brows conspiring together over wicked black eyes gleaming with evil… as they plot how to deliciously slice into their enemies and feast ravishingly on the spoil they share from it. Then the spiteful and contemptuous laughter erupts like cackling witches slicing through the darkness of night… something like a scene from ‘Wicked’ or ‘Maleficient’ or something evil like that… (not that I watch such movies), there may be a casting call soon for another movie like that and these bimbos should scurry on over and apply asap…

THIS LAUGH’S FOR PAMELA GELLER AND FRIENDS!

What does the phony territory of “palestine” produce ? Seriously what do the arabs calling themselves “palestinians” do for a living… what industry is there ? What do they trade ?

I’d like to know too. About 120,000 work in Israel, which gives them a higher salary than if they lived in the PA or other Arab entity. Yet living costs must be lower. I know that things cost less in the PA town across the hwy from us, where we aren’t supposed to enter. I know this because old-timers, Jews who lived in Judea before Oslo, had friends in the Arab towns and they shopped there all the time. My husband once went with an old-timer to a hardware store in this Arab town, because the selection for what he needed was better there. He got the part he needed. And he got in and out safely, probably because the people who took him there knew the ins and outs. And how’s this for irony- I was visiting Israel in 1992, right after the Gulf War. I saw Gazans working on the Israeli side of the border for Israeli farmers. The Jews near the border said they went back and forth all the time and visited with Arab friends in Gaza. But that was before the 2005 expulsion. Now if this still happens, it’s rare. Gazans can no longer come into Israel to work, though in Judea-Samaria, the PA Arabs come into Israel to work. This is the result of the “peace process”. We should have left it like it was and just deported the troublemakers out of Gaza. There were many Arabs there happy to work for Jews in Gaza. When the Jews left, these Arabs were blacklisted and now can’t get jobs. The beautiful greenhouses have been trashed. They are pleading for the Jewish farmers to come back. Did the UN learn from this mistake? NO, they want to push the Jews out and let the troublemakers take over. What idiots.

There is more to the story of what Arabs do in Judea-Samaria. By us is an industrial zone. It is in Judea, but not in the PA. It’s a mixed area, Jews and Arabs working together. We buy glass for windows at a glass factory owned by Arabs. We shop in an accessories store owned by Arabs. Many of the businesses are owned by Arabs. There are other shops and restaurants owned by Jews, but they probably hire some Arabs too. All are getting along. Why is this? The Arabs are friendly to us when we shop in their stores, of course. Sometimes this is just business. One time one Arab worker took an ax to his Jewish friend, because – he said- he kept being told on the internet from PA inciters that he should kill a Jew. So, who knows? When business is good, all is mostly peaceful, in this area at least.

The Dem Party are now the trillionaires of hypocrisy. They criticize others for doing everything that they tolerate in their own party: racism, anti-Semitism, vigilantism, corruption, obstruction of justice, graft, bribery, collusion, cussing, discriminating against poor people, snobbery. The only thing that Dems never do is this: they NEVER EVER criticize Islam.

Even when Tlaib and Omar are obviously wrong, the Dems cannot bring themselves to criticize Islam.

Hello! There is no Palestine. None. Nada. Nowhere. There is, for the time being, a Palestinian Authority, per the Oslo Accords. However, the PA just ended their agreement to the Accords, meaning that the PA should no longer exist. Israel now needs to deport all these Arabs living in Israel, and Abbas needs to be arrested. since he no longer has diplomatic protection. Yeah right as if Israel will do the legal thing.

It’s not just this village. When driving a rental car through rural Israel, in Judea and Samaria, we saw villas with acreage all over the place, and they all belong to the poor “Palestinians”. Kind of makes one angry when we Jews in Judea are living in apartments, very small apartments, have no cars, but we work and get no aid money. We Jews also don’t go out and play shoot-em-up with Arab families out hiking. This apartheid against Jews must end, because we Jews are being villain-ized while the Arabs drive their bmw’s into us as we, car-less, are waiting at bus stops. The world is upside-down.
