“An investigation was launched to determine if the attack was terrorism-related.”
Yes, it’s a real mystery. When you deny the reality of global jihad, absurdities of this kind are inevitable.
“Man reportedly shouts ‘Allahu Akbar’ after stabbing Italian soldier,” by Yaron Steinbuch, New York Post, September 17, 2019 (thanks to John):
An Italian soldier was stabbed in the neck Tuesday by an attacker brandishing a pair of scissors in front of Milan’s central train station – and later shouting “Alahu Akbar,” according to a report.
The man fled from the scene after the unprovoked attack shortly after 10:45 a.m. in Piazza Duca d’Aosta and ran toward Via Vittor Pisani but was stopped by paramilitary Carabinieri police officers, according to Milano Today.
He apparently shouted “Allahu Akbar!” — Arabic for “God is great!” – as he was being arrested, the news outlet reported.
An investigation was launched to determine if the attack was terrorism-related….

There should be no doubt that this attack is an act of Islamic war. “Allahu akbar” is the normative WAR CRY of ISLAM and comes from the sacred example of MOHAMMED.
In June 628, Muhammad led a Muslim army against the Jewish community of Khaybar. Muhammad told his warriors, “You will not go out with me unless you desire jihad. As for plunder, there will be none.” The battle cry of the Muslims was “O victorious one, slay, slay!” As the Muslims attacked, Muhammad called out, “Allahu akbar! Khaybar is destroyed.”

Will the Italians realize that they voted for the wrong parties? Or will they continue to destroy Italy by bringing in more and more young, fit, unemployable terrorists?
Can Italian police be so uninformed about Islam’s terror doctrine? “Turhibunna” (terrorize them) Koran 8.60.

Salvini was pretty good–but the rest of these idiots are dhimmi tools.

Yes, I guess (as usual) a lot of long hours of excruciating deliberation will go on until it’s finally decided and declared that the incident is totally mental illness related, and has nothing whatsover to do with being islamic jihad or qur’an induced. Wait for it, you could almost bet both testicles on it.

Next refuse to see the obvious
Then no problem to deal with and its just another nut case
Edmund says
Of course it was not terror related. It was just peacefull kiss of death. This is never ending story, so relax and praise culural differences. Importing more “men of peace” will help too.
Mario Alexis Portella says
To all those who think that the new Italian government is incompetent in dealing with this Islamic situation, you’re 100% right!!! Now that Salvini is gone – I live in Florence, Italy- freeloaders will keep on coming and create even more havoc.

I am so sorry to see this happening to Italy–it seemed that things were saner there.
James Lincoln says
Law enforcement will go to great lengths to:
Show that this was NOT related to Islam.
Show that this WAS related to mental illness.
What they will NOT do is take an objective, evidence-based approach to find the truth.
Rinse and repeat.
Angemon says
Let me guess the result: not terror-linked because, online or local “radicalization” notwithstanding, they can’t find a direct link to a terror group…

Hmmm…. could this be terror related???
Let’s take a look at the evidence…
“Man reportedly shouts ‘Allahu Akbar’ after stabbing Italian soldier,” by Yaron Steinbuch, New York Post, September 17, 2019
So a man stabs an Italian soldier, thereby terrorizing him… he was using a knife… and immediately afterwards he shouts ‘allahu akbar,’….. so let’s put the pieces together and see…. is this incident terror related???
Hmmm…. yeah, that’s a toughie!!!

Could someone explain to me how Salvini was ousted??? The Italians love him; he’s the most popular politician in the country—and then he’s gone and Conte is in. I don’t understand Italian politics—was there an election that I missed?
Sorry, I’m not so knowledgeable. I learn a lot from fellow JW posters, so hoping someone can help me out here.

GreekEmpress, I’ve read a slew of articles about this over the past month, and haven’t been able to figure out the exact mechanism, either. Here’s one:
“Does the collapse of Italy’s coalition spell political suicide for Salvini?”
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/italy-government-coalition-prime-minister-conte-salvini-five-star-a9073801.html
I just reread this article, and I’m still not really clear on things…
Any Italians here who would care to enlighten us? I know Italian politics are rather complex and byzantine.
Whatever the exact details, though, this is clearly a disaster for Italy.
GreekEmpress says
Thanks GI,
I read the article and learned more about the different parties and the players.
Definitely a disaster for Italy.

Hello Greek and greven.. Salvini was not ousted… he left the Government, by a confidence vote on the PM which he provoked on purpose, because the M5S was blocking all the proposals that the two parties had agreed on. Salvini requested new elections (as is generally done in most civilized Countries when a Government falls),but the Italian President (Mattarella) decided to apply the Constitution that states that, being a Parliamentary Representative Republic he could nominate a prime Minister as long as he (PM) has the votes in the Houses. That said he “forgot” that the same Constitution implies that the Government has to be in “harmony” with the majority of the Italian Population… The PD and M5s have lost ALL the Regional, City and European elections, therefore, in my humble opinion, the only thing that should have been done was do give voice to the people.. the end of the story is that Italian Government is made by the parties that have lost (bad time) all the elections from June 2018. I hope that helps..
As for the case Mr. Spencer relates to: the police only arrest they do not charge, that said the prosecutor has charged the suspect for terrorism.
GreekEmpress says
Miriam,
Thank you so much for the explanation—
It’s a lot clearer now.

Thank you for the additional information, Miriam. I still get the impression that Salvini left under duress.
