Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Pakistan’s Prime Minister: “Pakistan by joining the US after 9/11 committed one of the biggest blunders”

Sep 28, 2019 9:00 am By Robert Spencer

“Pakistan by joining the US after 9/11 committed one of the biggest blunders…I think the Pakistani government should not have pledged what they could not deliver.”

I agree. Pakistan is no friend or ally of the United States. It has never aided the defense against the global jihad. It should not receive a penny in U.S. aid.

“Joining war on terror was biggest blunder, says Imran,” Daily Times, September 24, 2019 (thanks to Henry):

Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that Pakistan’s decision to join the US-led war on terror was the biggest blunder in the country’s history.

He addressed an event at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) think tank in New York on Monday.

Answering a question regarding former US Defense Secretary James Mattis’ remark that he considered Pakistan to be “the most dangerous” among all countries he had dealt with, Prime Minister Imran said: “I do not think James Mattis fully understands why Pakistan became radicalized.

He explained, “In the 1980s, when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, Pakistan, helped by the United States, organized the resistance to the Soviets. And the resistance was organized by the Pakistani ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) training these militants who were invited from all over the Muslim world to do jihad against the Soviet Union.”

“And so we created these militant groups to fight the Soviets. […] Jihadis were heroes then. Come 1989, Soviets leave Afghanistan, the US packs up and leaves Afghanistan […] and we were left with these groups,” he added.

“Then comes 9/11, and Pakistan again joins the US in the war on terror and now we are required to go after these groups as terrorists. They were indoctrinated that fighting foreign occupation in jihad but now when the US arrived in Afghanistan, it was supposed to be terrorism. So Pakistan took a real battering in this,” he said, adding that Pakistan should have stayed neutral in the conflict.”

Joining war on terror was biggest blunder, says Imran

“Pakistan by joining the US after 9/11 committed one of the biggest blunders,” he said, noting that 70,000 Pakistanis had died in the ensuing violence and the country lost hundreds of billions in the economy. “I think the Pakistani government should not have pledged what they could not deliver.”…

Well, at least we can agree 100% on that, Mr Khan, some of us don’t think Pakistan should receive one solitary red cent in any ‘foreign’ ‘aid’ from anyone, until such as it radically changes it’s attitude – on a few things

Lest we in the west forget that Khan is also known as Taliban Khan. There are photos on the Internet with him holding a gun and sitting down with the Taliban leadership.

    Check these links:

    https://www.news18.com/news/world/heres-why-imran-khan-has-earned-the-moniker-taliban-khan-in-pakistans-politics-1823667.html

    https://jafrianews.com/2013/09/27/why-imran-khan-is-adamant-on-opening-the-offices-of-ttp-in-pakistan/

We must never forget that Khan is, in a way, directly responsible for the deaths of our men and women who served in Afghanistan. Recently, Khan openly admitted in an interview in NYC that his army and intelligence services created and trained al qaeda and the Taliban. The same al qaeda that was responsible for 9/11.

Yesterday, Khan had the gall to complain at the UNGA about islamophobia. Folks, we are dealing with one low down, lousy, double-speaking islamist masquerading as the prime minister of a bankrupt nuclear nation.

Taliban khan is a very odd man.

He once publically revealed that he didn’t even know his own koran:hadn’t a clue.

He should have stayed away from politics after cricket.
A wise man would have -but Taliban Khan is not wise or even remotely competent.

It seems that “Ali Akbar”; here believes that the purpose of the UN is to give Muslim thugs a platform to “fuck all the people”.

Really, this is how Muslims think. Very telling.

One part of history that Imran Khan forgets is 9/11. In the days following 9/11, Pakistan was one of those countries contacted by the US and read the riot act. There was President Bush’s famous statement, ‘Either you’re with us, or you’re against us’. Unlike Mullah Omar, President Musharraf read the writing on the wall and did what the US wanted – dropped recognition of the Taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan, and allowed US forces to operate against them. His alternative would have been Pakistan being in the same category as Afghanistan and being pummeled to sand. At the time, India too was eager to have an anti-terrorism alliance w/ the US, and Musharraf, by aligning w/ the US, preempted that. Otherwise, had Pakistan been taken down, so would their nuclear program.

Of course, at the time, Imran Khan was too busy building up his party by claiming the Pathan vote as well as the Jihadist vote. Something that finally brought him to power in 2017. But had Imran Khan been prime minister then, it’s hard to see how he could have done anything different from what Musharraf did.

Only difference today – instead of a Bush who was happy to buy whatever lies the Pakis fed him, we have a Trump who listens to the generals and recognizes that Pakistan is very much a part of whatever goes on in Afghanistan
