“Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has demanded international aid to help with the Syrian migrants in his country, threatening to ‘open the gates’ to Europe. The Turkish leader said that he wants to create a ‘security zone’ on the Syrian border with Turkey and settle around one million asylum seekers and has demanded aid from the international community to carry out the proposed project.”
This isn’t the first time that the Islamic supremacist Erdogan has threatened to bombard Europe with more refugees if his demands were unmet. And while Europe has already suffered under the strain of previous Muslim refugee flows — including violent no-go zones, jihad attacks and sex assaults — Turkish forces have not been simply refusing refugees, but killing them. They have murdered “at least 422 Syrian refugees” who were trying to cross the border. That includes 76 children. The injuries are unknown, but hundreds have also been sent away by force.
“Erdogan Threatens to ‘Open the Gates’ to Migrants, Demands Aid,” by Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, September 7, 2019:
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has demanded international aid to help with the Syrian migrants in his country, threatening to “open the gates” to Europe.
The Turkish leader said that he wants to create a “security zone” on the Syrian border with Turkey and settle around one million asylum seekers and has demanded aid from the international community to carry out the proposed project, Bild reports.
“Our goal is for at least one million of our Syrian brothers to return to the security zone we will build along our 450-kilometre border,” Erdoğan said and continued: “Give us logistical support, and we can build houses up to 30 kilometres into the north of Syria.”
“Either that happens, or we open the gates,” he added, claiming that the European Union had not given any support to the proposed project.
EU spokeswoman Natasha Bertaud, however, noted that the political bloc had paid 5.6 billion euros to Turkey as part of the 2016 EU-Turkey migrant pact out of the agreed six billion total agreed upon.
Turkey currently houses over three million Syrians who fled the country’s civil war and the threats are not the first time Erdogan has said he would open the borders to Greece.
As early as April 2016, Erdoğan made threats to open the border, demanding that the EU allow Turkish citizens visa-free access to the union.
The following year, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu threatened to cancel the migrant deal if Greece did not hand over several military officers who attempted to claim asylum after the failed coup against Erdoğan in 2016.
Turkey has also seen a recent influx of new asylum seekers from Syria in recent weeks with hundreds crossing the border at the end of August and being met with tear gas from Turkish authorities.
Greece has also seen a surge in new arrivals as 500 migrants arrived on the island of Lesbos last week, the largest number in a single day since the signing of the EU-Turkey pact….

Why doesn’t he ask for money from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and those other oil producing Muslim countries? Aren’t rich Muslims supposed to contribute to the support of poor Muslims? Oh wait, that would be only if the Infidels can’t be plundered first. Besides, he’ll let the migrants pass through into Europe anyway.

Just as the mullahs in Iran are doing a wonderful job in driving its people away from Islam, so Erdogan is doing a similar job in Turkey:
“According to a 2018 survey conducted by Turkey’s leading polling company, KONDA, Karamollaoğlu appears to be correct, at least about the growing number of young Turks who no longer consider themselves “religious” Muslims.
The survey reveals that, over the last decade, there has been a 4% decrease — from 55% to 51% — in the number of those who define themselves as “religious” and that non-believers are becoming “more visible.”

This may be true in some cases, but the implication from Muslim apologist Peter Buckley that Jihad is no longer a threat is quite false. Many Muslims, in fact, are growing more devout–and this always means more Jihad.

There is a real crisis of faith going on within Muslim families. They are asking themselves questions as a result of all the terrorism. We can help the process by asking Muslims whether they support ISIS, Al Qaeda or Muslim Brotherhood. Whether Mohammed would join one of those if he were alive today. Many Muslims are now rejecting jihad. I know a fellow who hates the jihadists, but he will not personally turn in fellow Muslims. He is wavering. He is aware of the jihadists in his community and he no longer goes to a mosque. He drinks beer. He formerly fought against the terrorists. There are many who share his views. He wants the terrorists to stop.

IN THE USA THEY’RE LEAVING ISLAM FASTER :
https://www.faithwire.com/2018/05/16/american-muslims-are-losing-their-faith-faster-than-christians/
A Pew survey taken earlier this year shows that, while America’s Muslim population has risen by some 50 percent in the last decade, an astonishing 23 percent of those raised as Muslim no longer identify with that faith. This means that approximately 1 in 4 Muslims in this country will leave their faith. As Michael David puts it at the Catholic Herald, “Americans are un-mosquing at an even faster rate than they are un-churching.”

Careful, my friend. When, like me, you are merely chronicling Islam’s steep decline, you are at risk of being labelled a “muslim apologist” by someone called gravenimage.

I submit that the man you mentioned, who lacks the taste for waging jihad himself but wont denounce those who do, could stand in for most of the Muslim p;op;ulation, here there and everywhere. They are the ocean in which the jihadist swims. And they need thwarting as much as or more than the jihadists themselves. IMHO and all.

When Peter Buckley was sneering at Robert Spencer for updating a story, he certainly was not “merely chronicling Islam’s steep decline”. What claptrap.

Peter Buckley, in fact, has a *very* troubling posting history here. Here, he is trying to put a positive spin on Muslims threatening to murder an apostate:

His general approach–as on this thread–is to sneer at the idea that Islam presents any sort of threat to us at all. And this goes *way* back with him.

Kidnappers abduct and hold their victims fro ransom. Whether or not the ransom is paid, the victim if most often killed, even when the nappers promise the victim’s family he/she will be returned unharmed.
er do wan is doing the same kind of thing. He has already “opened the gates” and helped to fill ‘Europe with moslims who will not work, demand free stuff and go about raping and killing even when they get free stuff.
Even if he gets the money, he will continue to keep the gates open because that is what he does, no matter what he says he will do.
There is a lot of false pride in moslims. There is no real pride of accomplishment, or they would not so often beg and threaten. They would wish to make money the “old-fashioned way.”, by “earning it.”

Tell Erdog to ask his friend Putin for money. After all Russia and Turkey are much more directly involved in the Syrian quagmire than Germany or any other EU country. Why must the EU foot the bill for his machiavellian plans to colonize Northern Syria with loyal Arab and Turkmen Sunni settlers to upset the Kurdish demographics of the area? Maybe Soros could be convinced to divert some of the money he’s been spending to colonize Europe and use them instead to help Erdogan colonize Syria?
Wellington says
Notice that a thug like Erdogan doesn’t ever threaten a country like China or Russia because threats don’t work with authoritarian regimes. Now, this DOES NOT MEAN that democratic countries (real democracies, not fake ones) must cease being democratic in order to deal with international thugs. No, not at all. But it does mean that democracies must be very tough with thugs (contrast, as an example, Chamberlain v. Churchill) and brook no bullying. After all, you can have a free society that is also a “don’t mess with me” society. Unfortunately, right now much of the West is in “cave-in” mode as evidenced by such woeful people as the current Pope, Merkel, Macron, Trudeau and quite recently May.
Westman says
I’m so confused, Wellington. The EU masters, former EU Pres. Junker and industrialists, said they want more immigrants and Erdogan is offering to send them so it should be just what the EU wanted, and no threat. You don’t suppose many of the citizens of the EU are getting wise to the scam and are quietly saying, “no more ‘Syrians'”?
Juncker said: “These populist, nationalists, stupid nationalists, they are in love with their own countries,” He might have been drunk when he said that, which was much of the time.
Imagine that! People who love their country. Whoda thunk it? Apparently, Erdogan knows more about people than Juncker.

Good post, Wellington.
And good point, Westman–if Muslim immigrants were *really* an asset to the West, why would Erdogan be openly using sending more as a threat Quite an admission, really.

My response to Erdoghan I could never print, I just think he is throwing his Islamic demands for money , like the non- believer have had to pay to stay alive in Islamic countries, demands with the threat of invasion which has been happening all along as another duty of a devote muslim to capture and control foreign lands, his right he thinks, some of the press will oblige him and write it up as a humanitarian demand for the crisis he will create. Nothing new. The history of Islamic invasion is the untold story. As Saudi banking will take our banks and mosques and hurt our oil markets, they continue unattested I guess we are getting conquered…. just like the Islamic Iranian Revolution, except now thanks to our ignorance, due to sharia information control, they all have graduated form western universities and now they have bigger weapons. Wake up America we have to be strategic and see how they operate and if things go wrong it will be soon I fear. They have studied the west we know nothing and we can’t speak truthfully about the operating drivers that is Islam doctrine so we have accepted and will be duped. If we survive. To the left with fantasy, your tears and life will mean nothing to them.
