Corruption? Not from the Turkish Red Crescent’s point of view.
Non-Muslims paying for the upkeep of Muslims is a Qur’anic dictate:
“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” (Qur’an 9:29).
The caliph Umar said the jizya payments from the dhimmis were the source of the Muslims’ livelihood:
“Narrated Juwairiya bin Qudama at-Tamimi: We said to `Umar bin Al-Khattab, ‘O Chief of the believers! Advise us.’ He said, ‘I advise you to fulfill Allah’s Convention (made with the Dhimmis) as it is the convention of your Prophet and the source of the livelihood of your dependents (i.e. the taxes from the Dhimmis.)’” (Bukhari 4.53.388)
Anjem Choudary said in February 2013:
“We are on Jihad Seekers Allowance, We take the Jizya (protection money paid to Muslims by non-Muslims) which is ours anyway. The normal situation is to take money from the Kafir (non-Muslim), isn’t it? So this is normal situation. They give us the money. You work, give us the money. Allah Akbar, we take the money. Hopefully there is no one from the DSS (Department of Social Security) listening. Ah, but you see people will say you are not working. But the normal situation is for you to take money from the Kuffar (non-Muslim) So we take Jihad Seeker’s Allowance.”
“Turkish Red Crescent purchases luxury cars with subventions,” Sol International, September 10, 2019 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
The Turkish Red Crescent, the largest non-governmental ‘‘relief’’ organization in Turkey, which has been come under fire due to the allegations of corruption and excessive increases in salaries of its administrative board, purchased luxury cars with the subventions donated by the United Nations (UN) World Food Programme to support the foreigners living in the country, it has revealed.
A total of 10 4×4 vehicles, including two ultra-luxury cars, were purchased with 3 million 700 thousand Turkish Lira ($643 thousand) within the scope of the Project of Social Cohesion Assistance for Foreigners Programme, according to a report in Cumhuriyet Daily.
The report says that the money was donated by the UN World Food Programme (WFP) in order to ‘support the aggrieved foreigners to fulfil their basic needs in a dignified manner’….

“The Red Cross Movement…. was founded to protect human life and health, to ensure respect for all human beings……” , and founded by a devout Christian, obviously based on Christian principles. These, as we all know, aren’t reflected in the Qu’ran, particularly when it comes to ‘respect for all human beings’, so the whole idea of a ‘Red Crescent’ society is spurious. And, as this story shows, you shouldn’t trust them one little bit.

“The Ruling on Dispossessing the Disbelievers wealth in Dar al-Harb”, sermon by Shaykh Anwar al-Awlaki, Monday, January 17, 2011,
Quotes:
-Islam stipulates certain conditions for taking the wealth of the disbelievers. According to our classical scholars, it becomes permissible to take the disbelievers wealth for jihad-related purposes even if one is without an army or an Imam; and even within this there are restrictions.
-The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “I was sent before the hour with the sword, and my sustenance is under my spear, and humility and belittlement is the destiny of whoever defies my commands.”
-Ghanīmah is the money taken from the disbelievers by force by the strength of the mujahidin and in a way that raises the word of Allah.[4]
-Fai’ is what is taken from the disbelievers without fighting.[5]
-All of our scholars agree on the permissibility of taking away the wealth of the disbelievers in dār al-ĥarb whether by means of force or by means of theft or deception.
Conclusions: ripping off the dirty kufaar, robbing them or extorting money from them are decrees of Allah and normative Islam, rather than aberrations.

The Red Crescent should be forensically audited.

And, unfortunately so should most high profile charities.

For centuries Turkish farmers chose not to build wheeled carts to haul stuff around. Why? Because experience taught them that if they invested the considerable labour and resources to do so, one armed faction or another would just commandeer them. Historians still debate whether the first movable-type printing press in Turkey was set up 300 or 400 years after Gutenberg. When the Turks decided to go to war with Russia in WWI, the first thing Enver Pasha did was to buy up; all the camels he could to go invade the frozen Caucasus. So tell me, how do you think the north-European idea of honest stewardship fares in Turkish culture? Hint: consider the self-enrichment they have tolerated in their demagogue-in-chief for the past few decades. Oh and what do you think happens with the north-European idea of human rights in the same culture? Oh right, we arent supposed to say any culture is any better than any other. BTW what role is the red crescent playing in the treatment of wounded ISIS jihadis in Turkish hospitals ? Last thing I heard ISIS hadnt adopted the kafir innovation of health insurance. kfi

A job at a non-profit organization can be like winning the lottery. As long as the state government doesn’t look to closely the members can acquire storage closets full of cars, clothes, property, etc. and claim them as necessities. On top of that they can award themselves bonuses, huge salary increases and expensive new offices. This is a long running scam that I personally witnessed in San Francisco many years ago with the unethical practices of AIDS charities. My upstairs neighbor had a new BMW every year as a reward for his selflessness.

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement …includes the Red Cross! I don’t donate to them and this news is why. There are too many aid organizations like Samaritan’s Purse who aren’t buying rocket propelled grenade launchers with charity offerings. Yes, an audit is in order here.

Muslims consider this “Jizya” from the ‘filthy Infidels’.
UNCLE VLADDI says
Just like the “White Helmet” jihadis are a sick twisted islamic bizarro version of the UN’s Blue Helmets, their “Red Crescent” is a disgustingly exclusionary copy of the universally inclusive Red Cross. This is just more proof that Islam is the religion of hypocrisy.
Steve says
Just one more reason for the U.S. to get out of the UN and for the UN to be kick out of America.
