Turks irked as Lebanon’s Aoun says Ottoman occupation was marked by repression and injustice

Sep 14, 2019 11:00 am By Robert Spencer

Dhimmis learn the lesson quickly: if you complain about your lot, it will go even worse for you. Islam mandates death for non-Muslim subjects of the Islamic state who mention “something impermissible about Allah, the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), or Islam” (‘Umdat al-Salik, o11.10), and such laws are based upon passages in the Hadith and Sira in which Muhammad orders the murders of people who have insulted him. And so the Turks are enraged as Michel Aoun goes off the reservation.

“Tension between Lebanon and Turkey after Aoun statements,” ANSAmed, September 6, 2019 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

BEIRUT – Diplomatic tension has risen between Turkey and Lebanon after Lebanese president Michel Aoun described the centuries during which his country was under the Ottoman Empire in extremely negative terms.

Lebanese media on Friday highlighted the summoning of the Lebanese ambassador by the Turkish foreign ministry and the Turkish ambassador by the Lebanese foreign minister to request clarification and express concerns. Aoun had said the four centuries of Ottoman presence in the territory was marked by repression and injustice. After his statements, made during the celebrations for the centenary of the birth of modern Lebanon (1920-2020), Turkey said that the accusations were baseless….

Patronage, graft and nepotism were rampant in the Ottoman Empire. Landowners lived in Constantinople while collecting rent from properties in Lebanon, Syria, Macedonia, Rumelia, Crete and the Morea. The Ottomans swung between benign neglect and vicious vindictiveness in the administration of their colonies. It was government by decree and no one knew what the policy was from one day to the next.

Lebanon was supposed to be for Maronite Christians and still today only a Maronite can be Pres. (Aoun) but Sunni are PM and Shia Speaker and if you give Islam one inch, they take over and all history proves it and Qur’an proves it. Its the Supremacist Belief. There should never have been a Muslim allowed in Government, period. They will not let ‘others’ in their countries so they belong there and no where else.

Grimly, Lebanon is largely under the heel of Hezb’allah, which uses Lebanon as a base from which to wage violent Jihad against Israel.

Think this pisses the Turks off, just try mentioning something about Armenians…….or for that matter Aramaic Christians, or Kurds. Oh and theres this modern myth about how multicultural and tolerant the Ottoman Empire was. If you are even faintly entertaining that fraud, read up on your history, as mortimer obviously has.

Don’t forget the Yazidis. They were the victims desperately in need of refuge in Syria, so when Obama brought in thousands of refugees, he brought in one Yazidi. The rest were left to be killed or become slaves or sex-slaves to the Moslems. Oh, the rest brought in were Moslems for the purpose to give the refuge… from Moslems.

Not only in the Lebanon was Islamic rule marked by injustice and repression. The 700 years of Islamic rule in the greater and lesser parts of India weakened their Dharmic society irreparably ( read V.S. Naipaul “ India – a wounded civilisation “.

It is a miracle that their native society survived such a vicious onslaught.

“They represented everywhere government by force as opposed to government by law”

Pakistan, once “99%” non-Muslim, was turned into “99%” Muslim by raids of the Centrak Asian Turks, thus separated from the whole original Indian sub-continent.

    ……………………..

Yes–this persecution was worst for dhimmis as from his name Michel Aoun’s ancestors must have been.

But even other Muslims were oppressed by the supremacist Muslim Turks. Muslims in Arabia and the Levant fought to get clear of the Ottoman Empire, as well. This is the story behind “Lawrence of Arabia”. Muslims do not even treat other Muslims well.

While most Arab Muslims want to see a new Caliphate, they are not clamoring for a return of the Ottoman Empire as Erdogan is.

LOL I know very well from experience how much Turks love to talk trash about the evil Europeans and the injustices they inflicted on their colonial subjects.
And yet it is sincerely impossible for their arrogant supremacist mindset to conceive how there could be anyone who didn’t enjoy being their slave or dare badmouth the ottoman empire(by far one the most brutal, backwards and oppressive regimes in history).
For most Turks all the countless revolts by the subjugated dhimmis(and even by Muslims on at least one notable occassion, the Arab Revolt) had nothing to do with the notoriously savage turkish misrule (which lasted longer than any western european colonial empire), but were only the product of Western/Russian/”Zionist” conspiracy to undermine their Allah-given Empire’s right to enslave.

Unfortunately, Aoun, a Christian, is a political ally of Hizballah. Politics, as they say, makes strange bedfellows.

Here’s one for Our Lady of Lebanon:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women. Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
