Concern for the jobs of Britons? Pah! That would be “Islamophobic.”
“RNLI buys burkinis for Africans as it axes 100 UK jobs: How £3.3million of donations to lifeboat charity are spent abroad including aid for Tanzania swimmers and creches in Bangladesh,” by Michael Powell, The Mail on Sunday, September 15, 2019 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution came under fire yesterday for spending millions of pounds on projects in foreign countries –including buying burkinis for Muslim women in Africa – while slashing more than 100 jobs in the UK.
Donations are being spent on swimsuits for devout Muslim women in Tanzania and on funding creches in Bangladesh which the RNLI claims helps to prevent drownings overseas.
But the charity’s £189,000-a-year chief executive Mark Dowie warned last week that it is ‘facing some major challenges’ after making a loss of £6.3 million last year, and announcing 135 job cuts.
Demand for the RNLI’s services is at record levels, with its lifeboats launched 8,964 times in the UK and Ireland last year.
However, the charity intends to increase its annual spend on foreign projects by £400,000 this year. Its overseas spending has now soared from £1.13 million to £3.3 million over the past five years.
Tory MP Nigel Evans, who sits on the Commons International Development Committee, said: ‘The fact the RNLI are cutting staff in the UK but boosting spending on these international projects begs the question of what the priority of the organisation is? They are risking the reputation of the charity.
‘I would say 99 per cent of the British public giving money to them have not the faintest idea it’s being diverted to projects overseas.’
Andrew Bridgen, a Tory MP, told The Times: ‘It is the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, not the Royal International Lifeboat Institution.’
The RNLI, founded in 1824, has been accused of becoming obsessed with political correctness in recent years, leading to resignations among volunteers….

Fine – inform them.

*Of course* they should know where their charitable donations are going.

Islamic charities are permitted by Sharia law to pay for jihad. This is Allah’s law, superior to national laws … so does anyone really think that leaders of Islamic charities (ZAKAT) will not fund jihad?
Allah’s law commands them to do so. Only gullible Pollyannas would think otherwise.
Reliance of the Traveller: section h8.17 “The seventh category (of zakat-recipients) is those fighting for Allah…”

True, Mortimer–Zakat is not really charity–not as we mean it.

In today’s world, the abyss between the division of “sense” and “nonsense” is astonishing. No “normal” entity with rational members would spend MILLIONS on religiously mandated swimwear (at least that’s what I THINK “”burkini’s” are…) in a country two continents away. Who thought of this? Monty Python?
Spiro says
Monty Python was smarter than this

This makes sense to the useful idiots as they virtue signal

Willful ignorance of Islam will cost them dearly in the end
mortimer says
Yes, Spiro, they are funding women’s repression and jihadist terror groups with Islamic charities.

I have just written to my MP to have them look in to this problem of the raging hole in our public finances funding those who would attack us in a heartbeat. There is a problem with NON-profits and charities as abusers of their original registration agreements. Why are they able to register to ask permission to drain our system to their chosen other country than ours in any case? There needs to be much much tighter restrictions in place or the government is guilty of diverting public funds for the support of terrorist groups.
elee says
Applause to you sally. Did you tell your MP to vote to spend your tax revenue for Muslim regalia? How about antisemitic propaganda by jihadis calling themselves the government of palestine? How about any revenue at all to charities, NGOs or the UN, for any kind of jihad at all? Dont remember agreeing to any of the above? Then why in hell are they doing it?
gravenimage says
Good for you, Sally.

By some of the comments I read, wonder if all that many know what’s going on in the U.S. But we who have more time to read the foolishness and down right crimes committed by our well paid government “servants” have exploding heads! Someone come up with a way people can be better informed in a way that won’t leave us destitute. I want to help, but I think the little bit I can give ends up being spent on solicitation for more money!

Sherri, dhimmitude in the United States is covered here at Jihad Watch, as well.

UK charity axes over 100 jobs within the country while spending millions on burkinis for Muslim women in Tanzania
………………….
More suicidal insanity–who cares if Britons are suffering?
Besides, the “burkini” is *not* a traditional Islamic garment–it was invented a few years ago by a Muslimah in Australia. Just swimming at all–and changing to do so, even in women-only locker rooms–is considered “immodest” for women in most of the Muslim world.
Here’s Islam Q & A, the most commonly read Islamic site in English:
“Islam enjoins women to stay at home and not go out unnecessarily, so as to preserve their chastity, maintain their dignity and protect them from all evil.
“Muslim women going out to public centres and swimming pools is something that is emphatically forbidden, because it involves a number of evils and negative consequences…”
https://islamqa.info/en/answers/159926/is-it-permissible-for-women-to-go-to-swimming-pools
Note there is *no* exception here given for women wearing “burkinis”. “Burkinis” are mostly used by Muslims in the West for stealth Jihad, If–God forbid!–Islam ever takes over here, the “burkini” will disappear.
Wellington says
“…If—God forbid!—Islam ever takes over here, the ‘burkini’ will disappear.”
As I know you know, gravenimage, so will freedom because wherever Islam is dominant, freedom is absent.
Sure wish a hell of a lot more people who are still free would “get” this about Islam, but they’re too busy enjoying freedom which others “paid” for—and using their dumbphones—posting on Farcebook—worrying about non-existent man-made climate change (for which NO scientific evidence exists, only computer model projections and correlation studies, neither of which constitute scientific proof and both of which have notorious track records for accuracy)—and all the while remaining insouciantly ignorant about the greatest civilization of all time, Western Civilization, because historical understanding in our era is beyond dismal.
Dumb world. Very. Would be deuce difficult to be dumber.

All sadly true, Wellington.

What good for the female swimmers to have spots on their swimwear marking each breast. This charity is sick. The girls are already demeaned by the burqinis (spelling with a “q” from “burqa” and not the misleading lie takyia of relating those to the bikini by the use of a “k”). Who designed this humiliating gear? A healthy narcisism is so important to young girls. Islam wants them repulsive. Did the charity join in to achieve total demeaning?
gravenimage says
No, these are not “spots on their swimwear marking each breast”–these are patches for their swim team. This is not unusual for women’s and girls’ swim teams.
The “burkini” was designed by a Muslimah in Australia, as I already noted, above.
If Tanzania was not majority-non-Muslim, these girls would probably not be allowed to swim at all, even with “burkinis”.
Trick_or_Treat says
Well, ya got to get these priorities right, haven’t you.
Saw a recent entry on the satirical ‘Sydney Sentinel’ [“Making Your Mind Up For You”] that made me laugh. It had a picture of those rows of SETI radio telescope dishes all trained to the sky, and the headline, “AUSTRALIA SEARCHES FOR OTHER CIVILISATIONS TO SEND FOREIGN AID TO”.
Said it all!

That is hilarious and spot on, Trick_or_Treat. Being charitable is a good thing, but you have to be very careful–and should not ignore your own people.

surely this breaches the charitys articles–the monies raised/received are for lifeboat functions

Someone needs to fire the CEO that has made and is instituting these disbursements to foreigners. The money is to be spent on the Lifeboats and equipment.

The Muslims in Scotland have a tartan. I got the info via The Religion of Peace website.
Some excerpts from the report in the National.ae
…….”The theological explanation of the design is as follows: blue represents the Scottish Flag; green represents the colour of Islam; five white lines running through the pattern represent the five pillars of Islam; six gold lines represent the six articles of faith; the black square represents the Holy Kaaba.”….
……. “The Scottish Islamic Tartan weaves together the different strands of Scottish and Muslim heritage creating a fabric for the future.”…
Green: Islam
5 white lines: the 5 pillars of Islam
6 gold lines: the 6 articles of faith
Black square: the Kaaba
Blue: Scottish Flag.
You will notice no explanation is given for the colour Blue. And it has missed out the white, for a white diagonal cross on a blue background is the Scottish Saltire.
What I am about to write reveals the taqiyya in that last quote before the colours.
The Scottish Saltire is totally Christian.
It’s background can be found here.
https://www.scottishrecipes.co.uk/scottishsaltireflag.php
Thus the heritage described is totally Muslim with mention of the cross on which St Andrew died, which Andrew chose so as not to be crucified on the cross the same shape as Jesus’ one.
Of course, the Islamic Isa did not die on a cross, only the Messiah Jesus did.
DP111 says
It would be alright for charities to spend in areas not specifically to the cause they told people that the money was being raised for.
The problem is that they raised the money specifically for lifeboats and then spent it on other issues. This is not moral at the least.
For instance it would be immoral if not illegal to raise money for cancer research, then use any of the money for beach wear.
