Yet another indication that the Left simply doesn’t care about anti-Semitism anymore, and is perfectly happy boosting those who propagate it. This is tantamount to replacing Louis Farrakhan with Marc Lamont Hill. Or Hitler with Göring.
“Not the Onion: Women’s March Taps Zahra Billoo in Wake of Anti-Semitism Issues,” IPT News, September 16, 2019:
The Washington Post is out Monday with something that looks like good news. Three board members at the national Women’s March who were involved in a series of anti-Semitic incidents are out. A diverse group of 16 people, including three Jews, will replace them.
But some of those new board members raise additional questions about the March, and seem to reinforce the previous concern that it is not a welcoming place for women who support the state of Israel.
For example, Zahra Billoo is one of the new March leaders. The Post quoted her talking about the challenge the March faces “being able to harness our biggest strength and turn that energy into action” before the 2020 election Billoo said.
But Billoo, who runs the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) San Francisco office, matches – perhaps even surpasses – outgoing board member Linda Sarsour’s hatred for Israel and those who support it. Billoo at least is candid enough to admit she doesn’t think the Jewish state should exist (she has not mentioned other countries she wishes would disappear). She repeatedly has compared Israeli soldiers to ISIS terrorists. Being pro-Israel, she has written, is tantamount to being “pro-terror, pro-violence, pro-land theft, and pro-apartheid.”
Criticizing Israeli leaders, or government policies, is not anti-Semitic. But rejecting even the idea of the state’s existence, is. It’s a view shared by the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France and at least 25 other nations.
Much of the Women’s March troubles stemmed from the inability of outgoing leaders Sarsour, Tamika Mallory and Bob Bland to condemn the Nation of Islam’s anti-Semitic leader Louis Farrakhan. As a result, the movement lost key donors and sponsors prior to January’s national march.
Over the years, Billoo has touted Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. She featured an Nation of Islam video on her blog in 2010. Seven months earlier, she felt compelled to share with her Twitter followers that she was “watching [Nation of Islam leader Louis] Farrakhan church speech, while at the gym.”…

A god who sends women to hell for being ‘ungrateful'{Sahih muslim 241}
A god, please note*,who knows LESS about Biology than any modern woman.
In her pagan Arab cult of islam, biloo{like ilhan omar and rashid tlaib} will NEVER be equal to a man or have equal rights as they are valued at HALF that of a muslim male.
*See ‘scientific errors in the quran’ on You Tube;allah gets Astronomy and Biology seriously wrong..imagine wearing the hijab in honor of a god who knows LESS about biology than any reasonably educated woman today.

Four more facts for you, FYI. The Kaaba (cube) also ‘wears’ a veil, and so does ‘Allah’, thus proving that they are female deities. Mohammed’s Koraysh tribe worshipped the Mighty Goddess (The Maiden=Kora) whence they got their name. Compulsory veiling was revealed after Omar demanded a revelation on the subject and boasted that ‘Allah’ gave the Koranic verse due to him (Omar).
FYI says
I wonder do al lah’s THREE pagan godess daughters wear veils..?
{koran 53:19-20:manat,al-lat and al-‘uzza}
Of course not!
They are not muslimas..they are pagan godesses.
{And of course if allah’s daughters are pagan godesses then allah himself has to be..pagan.}
So allah insists muslim women wear hijabs but not his own daughters.

Yes, Nabatean goddesses are depicted wearing a headscarf, but their stone statues may have been covered with a veil out of respect. I personally believe that the Black Stone is a fertility object of the Goddess Kora (al-Uzza) or Allat. Women touched it as a purification ritual every month, hence the importance of the pre-Islamic lunar 28-day calendar. The Saracen imperial movement gradually moved away from goddess-worship finally banning it entirely and referring legends about its abolition back to Mohammed to give the decisions more authority. The three goddesses may be the spouse or daughters of Allah or both.

And here is the kicker. Read Robert Spencer’s book “Did Muhammad Exist?” The title speaks for itself.

I read a source online about the history of the kiswah (the cloth draping the Kaaba and ‘kis’ means to coil but I don’t know what ‘wah’ is) It mentioned this:
“A pre-Islamic figure from the period known as “Jahiliyya time,” Adnan Bin Edd, a forefather of the Prophet, is said to be one of the earliest figures to have provided a kiswah for the Kaaba.”
(Umar is known to have covered it with a white cloth.)
Since veils and what Muslims call hijab had been worn for centuries B.C. by Greek, Persian and other women both for fashion and a sign of modesty (as well as to keep their hair clean and out of their faces), it would make sense for the polytheists to decorate it or keep it clean that way out of respect.
Herodotus (wrote that the Arabians worshipped Al-Lat who he likened to the Greek goddess Athena.
In southern Arabia, now Yemen, which was a successful merchant hub, they were worshipping the crescent and moon, the god who was depicted as a bull with crescent horns That was monotheistic. A male figure.
Islam is a mish-mash of all sorts of things. My personal feeling is that the Biblical stuff, the Cave story (Syriac Christian) all cane later and if we extract all that Judeo-Christian stuff from the Qur’an, that is basically Islam. Allah, war, societal rules, pagan rituals and Arabian culture. Pretty simple as one notable royal Saudi said.
It’s academic since we have to deal with what we’ve got, but all it took was succeeding at a bunch of raids and a promise of a lustful Paradise. What is striking to me, however, is the pride begotten by humiliating and subjugating infidels and honor is restored this way..that this attitude has continued on for so long as well as the supremacist attitudes and to be above the Judeo-Christian peoples. It kind of creeps me out that there are people still into the holy war business.
I didn’t know about Kora. Did that lead to Koran or as the Saudis prefer, Quraysh and Qur’an? I haven’t seen a good explanation. Thanks for informative posts.

“If they keep on, people will eventually be anti-female.”
Too late I’m afraid. MGTOW (Men Go Their Own Way) movement in the West is huge and is gaining momentum by the day. While I myself don’t support it, I can’t say I blame them (Western men), what with the whole 3rd wave feminism, #MeToo, gender wage gap myth, husbands getting absolutely shafted by divorce courts, and now these “women’s marches” that’s about as much about women as the Third Reich was about men.
Just the other day I’ve read a study that men at work tend to largely avoid their female coworkers because of fear that they’ll get accused of sexual harassment and end up losing their jobs. This is also the reason why some companies avoid hiring females all together. Nice job, feminism!
Thankfully I live in Eastern Europe where women are still “normal” (for the lack of a better term) and, while being modern, still have some traditional values left in them. Not saying that there are no Western women who are like that, but it’s like walking through a minefield — some men would rather play it safe and just stand still than taking the next step and risk getting blown up.

They could have shown some real dignity and asked Ayaan Hirsi Ali to join them, or any of a number of ex-Muslims who don’t hate Israel. But making such a choice would require way too much diversity on the part of the Women’s March (and likely most of it’s members).

The Feminists are part of a neo-Marxist coalition that works with billionaire oligarchs to create a Brave New World based on socialism and big corporate entities controlling politics and manipulating the voters. This is a kind of fascism on a global scale. The people in this global neo-fascist movement are unaware they are being manipulated.
This neo-Marxist + neo-Fascist movement is also anti-Semitic and the Jews who have worked for this are probably too embarrassed to say that they have been betrayed by their former pseudo-Marxist COMRADES.
Now that the Globalist-Marxist-Fascists have power, they can jettison their Jewish former allies and throw them under the bus. The whole scenario is perfectly logical once you understand the strategy and philosphy behind it.
The ethics the Globalists use are THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS.

All decent people should protest the appointment of the anti-semitic Zahra Billoo.
Zahra Billoo’s hatred of Israel is not based on the Koran, since the Koran commands Jews to ‘dwell in the land’ (of Israel) (K.5:21, 7:104)
There is however a lot of Jew hatred in the Islamic trilogy (Sira, hadiths and Koran).
– The grand total of Jew Hatred in KORAN = 10,242 words / 152,006 total words = 6.7% Jew hatred
– Total number of Jew Hatred VERSES in Koran: 123 verses Jew hatred
– 17% of Medinan Koran is Jew hatred
– 1% of Meccan Koran is Jew hatred
– 8.9% of hadiths are Jew hatred
– 12% of Sira is Jew hatred
– 9.3% of Islamic Trilogy is Jew hatred
– 7% of Mein Kampf is Jew hatred by comparison
– Koran of Mecca filled with Jewish stories plagiarized and distorted.
– Jews of Medina did not validate Mohammed’s prophecy, so he then exterminated the Jews, stole their property and enslaved their women and children.
– Mohammed entered Jewish Yathrib with his people as refugees, then changed its name to Medina (‘capital city’), but within a few years there were no Jews left in Medina.
– Mohammed provides in Medina the perfect example of Jew hatred that Muslims must follow
Nevertheless, ther is nothing in the Sira, hadiths or Koran that speaks against Jews living in their homeland… quite the opposite.
Jews in the US have a real choice to make: they can continue to support a political movement that is targeting Jews for hatred or leave it and join parties that support a Jewish homeland in Israel.
Jews who are globalists are actually fighting against the continued existence not just of Israel, but against the continued existence of the Jewish ethnicity as well. How self-hating is that?
These misguided globalists will not even lift a finger to support the B’nai Brith or the Jewish Defense League which exist to help them whenever anti-Semitism rears its ugly head.

Good post, Mortimer. One point, though–you wrote:

……………………
Qur’an 5:21 says this:
O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you and do not turn back [from fighting in Allah ‘s cause] and [thus] become losers.”
…
So this only refers to Jews who were supposedly Muslims (as you know, Islam posits that the Torah before being “corrupted” was in alignment with the Qur’an, and all the Jewish prophets were actually Muslim.
Qur’an 7:104 says this:
And Moses said, “O Pharaoh, I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds
…
Moses–“Musa”–is, like all Jewish prophets, held to be Muslim. Ergo, this was also a message to the Jews who were supposed to be Muslims.
So, there Suras do not make a case for a Jewish Israel, but rather a Muslim one.

Yes, GI, I am aware of that argument concerning the supposedly ‘real’ Jews who joined Islam versus the ones who didn’t. It is used as a rationalization by some mullahs. However, I quote the exegesis of Sheikh Abdul Palazzi of Italy.
The “Quran explicitly refers to the return of the Jews to the Land of Israel before the Last Judgment” – Sheikh Abdul Palazzi PhD
“Sheikh Palazzi believes that Israel exists by divine right and that the Koran clearly states (Sura 5:21) that God granted the Land of Israel to the Children of Israel and ordered them to settle there. In addition, it is predicted that before the end of days, God will bring the Children of Israel to retake possession of the Land, gathering them from the different countries and nations (Sura 17:104). Oddly enough, Palazzi’s reading of the Koran is backed up by, of all sources, Al Qaida.”
Furthermore, I draw to your attention the epithet given to the 2nd caliph Omar … “FAROOQ” … the ‘redeemer’ who returned Israel to the Jews from the Romans. Note that Omar considered himself a prophet similar to Mohammed and a number of other ‘prophets’ in Arabia at the time. Omar The ‘Revisionist School’ of Orientalism believes that Jews were included in the army that took ‘back’ Israel from the Romans and the break with the Saracen imperial ‘movement’ came later and was referred back in time to Mohammed himself in order to give the decisions of the caliphs more weight. The Revisionists argue that Mohammed wanted to dangle the carrot of Israel before Jews to entice them to join his army and those could in fact be the those ‘real’ Jews that joined his army to liberate Israel from the Romans.

Yes, I forgot to mention this angle. But far from affirming Jews having the right to Israel, this is usually intended to urge Muslims to murder them. After all, what happens in the Last Days per Islam? I know you are familiar with this Hadith:
“The Hour [i.e, of the Last Judgement–GI] will not begin until you fight the Jews, until a Jew will hide behind a rock or a tree, and the rock or tree will say: ‘O Muslim, O slave of Allah, here is a Jew behind me; come and kill him…”
Many Muslims believe that Jews are gathering in Israel so that they will be easier to wipe out.

It should not surprise that Al Qaida backs this–because, as I noted, this is *not* about Muslims allowing Jews to leave peacefully in Israel.

Jews never lived freely under Islam, Mortimer. The epithet “Farooq” never referred to Caliph Omar freeing the Jews from Roman rule.
Some Christians claimed that Jews aided the Muslim invaders–and some may have. The history of Jihad is certainly full of cases of foolish collaboration. But the terrible conquest of Jerusalem was just more of the bloody spread of Islam–its goal was certainly never to aid Jews.

Once last point, dear GI … my view is informed by Karl-Heinz Ohlig’s and Gert Puin’s book “Die dunklen Anfänge. Neue Forschungen zur Entstehung und frühen Geschichte des Islam” [“The Hidden Origins of Islam: New Research Into Its Early History”). These two scholars looked at the archeological and numismatic evidence, then they traced what REALLY HAPPENED before the later caliphs hid the truth about the confused scramble for power between the fighting, Saracen, dynastic families. They were all descended from Mohammed’s great-grandfather Qusay. Ohlig and Puin make a good case that the real story of Islam’s bloody, internecine origin has been intentionally covered up. For anyone to say they know what really happened is a mug’s game. However, it certainly appears that the origins were quite different from the received narrative that the Sunnites have deviously elaborated. Scholarship is ripping that to shreds and exposing it as a packet of pious falsehoods. Before her very sad loss, Patricia Crone said we need more archeology to ascertain what really happened and she seemed to suggest that it might be forthcoming. That evidence will most likely confirm what Ohlig and Puin believe.

This certainly could be. As you know, my background is in history, and this is definitely something I am interested in. But Muslims are very resistant to archaeological exploration, often destroying anything they consider “Jahillya”.
It is also obvious from Islamic texts that there was a time early on when Muslims hoped that all Jews would eagerly convert to Islam, and were enraged when they didn’t.
But Islam has been viciously antisemitic since virtually the beginning. One of the few things I have found about every Muslim I have spoken with–even those otherwise considered “moderate”–is their unhinged hatred of Jews.

Thank you for these links, Mortimer.
In the Middle Ages, European monarchs and nobility often claimed descent from famous kings, from Biblical figures, and even from fairies.
It is much the same in the Muslim world, where everyone wants to claim the “Prophet” as an ancestor. To this day, Qureshi is a common name in Dar-al-Islam, meaning that people claim to trace their lineage back to Muhammed’s tribe. This is especially common in Pakistan and India, where most Muslims have Hindu ancestors, and no direct links to the Arab world at all, let alone this specific tribe.
*All* Muslim leaders like to indicate as much as possible that they are the heirs–direct heirs, if possible, no matter how implausible–of the “Prophet” and the early “Rightly Guided Caliphs”.
I think we need to take all such claims with a *huge* grain of salt (especially given that Muhammed himself may not even be a historical figure).

The feminists have solved competition between women. They are pro ugly, pro fat, anti aesthetic and do not fight honor killings (one competitor less every death). The feminists love muslims because muslims are anti beauty, anti celebration of the fitness of the body. Zahra Billoo is the face of this sick feminism. Ugly, without body form. A wrapped piece of meat. The epitom of abject submission to the stupidified by Allah groin of her husband and of all Muslim males. If Billoo is so smart, she sould, as all Muslims should, convert to Judaism, Christianity or Buddhism and prosper positively and not be parasites from Islamic shitholes they want to extend to the whole world to bankrupt it.

Feminism in general is about women being who they want to be and not worryong a bout whether some hostile man finds them attractive or not.
The Marxist feminists have completely sold out to Islam but your comments do not encourage anyone to not be feminist.
i find most “men” who reject feminism do so on the grounds that feminists are not attractive and sexually available to them, sentiments that are almost Islamic in their misogyny.
Couching criticism of feminism in terms of looks instead of actions is what reveals your irrelevance.

Dear feminists: Your alliances with Islam and the trannies who are killing women’s sports show that you don’t know what you’re doing. Kick off your shoes and socks and get back in the kitchen. I’m sure that there are dozens of men out their who are sick of their own cooking.

It is possible to be a good cook and to believe in equal rights for women, Kepha. I’ve managed it.

I’ve also managed to be a good cook while wearing shoes.
