Didn’t Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi realize that the Islamic State was un-Islamic and that Islam had nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism? Why didn’t Pope Francis pay him a visit in his underground bunker and explain to him that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence”?
“The last days of a butcher: Captured confidant of al-Baghdadi who betrayed him to Delta Force describes the ISIS leader’s ‘excellent hiding tactics’ and says his underground bunker was filled with religious texts,” by Emily Crane, Dailymail.com, October 28, 2019 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
One of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s closest confidants who provided key information that led U.S. forces to the ISIS leader’s compound says his hiding tactics were ‘excellent’ and described one of his underground bunkers as being filled with religious texts.
Mohammed Ali Sajet, who is related to Baghdadi via marriage and has been an ISIS member since 2015, was arrested by Iraqi officials two months ago near Baghdad.
He is said to have told Iraqi authorities about Baghdadi’s possible location in Syria and also gave up details about a courier that was working for the ISIS leader.
Sajet is one of several confidants that gave up information on Baghdadi that helped U.S. intelligence officials eventually track the notorious ISIS leader down.
In an interview with Saudi-owned Al Arabiya TV on Sunday, Sajet – who is in detention in Iraq – said Baghdadi’s ‘hiding tactics were excellent’ and his security was tight.
He described one of Baghdadi’s hideouts, saying it was an underground bunker filled with religious texts.
‘He was in an 8-meter-long underground tunnel with a width of 5 to 6 meters. It had a library, religious books and the Quran and things of sort,’ Sajet said….

“Things of sort” must refer to all the goat porno baghdadi had amassed.

Of course, Abu Bakr al- Baghdadi knew from his vast Islamic studies that Muhammad (Sala Allaahu alayhi wa-sallam) was the first Women’s liber as Linda Sarsour would tell you.

I’ll bet the expression “Those who live by the sword, die by the Sword” wasn’t to be found anywhere.

islam, whose god has ONE leg,TWO RIGHT HANDS,a ROUND throne,a god who can only understand Arabic and whose “prophet” muhamed FAILED the Poison Test and had a winged flying horse with a woman’s face on which he rode one wondrous night to Jerusalem from mecca to visit a mosque{k17:1} that couldn’t possibly have even existed in mo’s time.
islam is soooo misunderstood.

Al-Baghdadi had a BA, MA and PhD in Islamic studies. It would be impossible for such a man to live without his books.

I note that very few moderate Muslims claim that ISIS hijacked Islam. You would think that by now some intrepid reporter would have posed the question to Grand Sheikh al Tayeb. .

Though we must keep mind, one of the great sins of Islam is to defame Islam. As such, a Muslim is forbidden from defaming another Muslim, unless they were in violation of Sharia, and thus they are careful to publicly segregate fundamentalists from Islam before they say anything negative… However, the vast extent of their “condemnation” does not go beyond “That is not Islam.”. But maybe this is why the Democratic Party and Islam are so cozy with each other… They understand, and embrace, the nuances of ambiguity where they can openly deceive without technically “lying”.

Al Azhar would not condemn ISIS.

Essentially, al-Baghdadi did what Muhammad would do if he came back today.
For countless Muslims all over the world, al-Baghdadi was a devout, pious man carrying out sanctified war against the non-believers.
That is why Islam is so dangerous: al-Baghdadi did not ‘hijack’ Islam, but carried through its divinely-sanctioned programme against infidels with uncompromising zeal.
Tom_X says
Bingo! And any “Religion” should be judged based upon their founders. Muhammed was an extremely vile and heinous character at best… So, if you choose to follow said belief system, which reveres/idolizes such a person, you kinda lose any right to be considered a “good person”.

‘A proper reading of the Quran’…What is that? Does that mean skipping over certain verses? Is that how a Muslim pleases Allah and gets into Paradise?

I wonder if Sajet will share the $25 million reward?

He probably had some Dilbert books in there as well. 🙂

One TV documentation in my country (Germany) provided details about al-Baghdadi’s career and early life.
It seems he guy had a Ph.D. in theology. Makes sense. My father’s comment: “That I believe instantly”.
