Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Islamic State spokesman also killed in separate US raid (but they still have the Washington Post)

Oct 29, 2019 2:00 pm By Robert Spencer

The Islamic State doesn’t really need Abu Hassan al-Muhajir. It has the Western establishment media.

“ISIS spokesman Abu Hassan al-Muhajir, potential al-Baghdadi successor, also killed in Syria, official says,” by Talia Kaplan and Nick Kalman, Fox News, October 28, 2019:

Islamic State spokesman Abu Hassan al-Muhajir, considered a potential successor to terror leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, also was killed in Syria in a separate attack by U.S. forces, a senior State Department official confirmed to Fox News on Monday.

Al-Muhajir had been considered a “number two” to al-Baghdadi, according to the official.

The second U.S. military operation took place in Turkish-held Jarabulus in northern Syria, a 3-hour drive from where al-Baghdadi was killed near another border town with Turkey, Fox News has learned.

Hours after U.S. Special Operations forces raided al-Baghdadi’s compound in northwestern Syria, the top Kurdish leader for the Syrian Democratic Forces, Gen. Mazloum Abdi, tweeted: “Following the previous ops, a senior assistent for al- Bagdadi is called Abu Hesen al Mouhjir was targeted in a village named Ein al Baat near Jaraboul city, the mission was conducted via direct coordination of SDF Intel & US military apart the ongiong ops to hunt ISIS leaders.”…

You are correct. I somehow thought they were different events, seeing as there are so many under-reported by the MSM. My apologies to JW readers.

Nothing new here. Prophet Muhammad himself was a forerunner in the underwear stealing business well ahead of the science of DNA! This may actually be the first tangible example of prophetic behaviour on his part!

          Strange fact about muhammed’s underpants.

The prophet muhammed’s sacred underpants were believed to have healing powers.

          {Sahih Muslim pg1641[book of clothes] hadith #2069}

“Aisha came back to Asma and she told her ‘this is the underpants of the prophet{pbuh}..we do wash it so the sick ones can be healed by it’…”

Was that the origin of As{th}ma?
Were the prophet’s underpants holey as well as holy?
pbuh:is that pee be upon him?

What an honor it must have been for any muslima to lovingly wash the great man’s underpants….

Surely, the Washington Post has now lost any shred of integrity or credibility.

What justification can there be for the headlines on Baghdadi ‘austere scholar dies’.

That would be like saying (of Hitler’s suicide) … “vegan, political theorist dies”.

mortimer: If you would, please see my 10:30 A.M. comment on today’s 8:00 A.M. article about this by Mateen Elass. You might be amused.

As for WashPo having lost “any shred of integrity or credibility,” that happened long ago. Ditto for The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Baltimore Sun, The Philadelphia Inquirer—ah, it’s a long list and indicative of how dead journalism really is in most places in America nowadays, and sadly not just in the most deficient part of America, i.e., its biggest cities (I’m being very Jeffersonian here respecting large cities), but also in many small cities, towns, boroughs, et al. Yes indeed, an ongoing and extensive tragedy. And with no end in sight.

        Wellington,

You are, of course, correct regarding mainstream journalism…

Journalism has always attracted people that at least lean to the left but, “back in the day”, there was an intent to fact check and provide some balance. At one time, decades ago, your referenced newspapers were pretty darn accurate. No more, their credibility is completely gone.

Fox news, which the left calls “extreme far right”, is the closest thing that the United States has for a wide reaching, accurate / balanced, news outlet. And Fox, too, is far from perfect.

We also have some great websites like Jihad Watch, and some other great truthful, evidence-based websites / YouTube channels.

But it takes a lot of work to find them…

The Washington Post is an appalling rag.

Great news, but I’m afraid ISIS will still return without Kurdish force, which of course result from Turkish action.
