The old saying goes: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
Our policy toward Israel and the “Palestinians” is, by that definition, quite spectacularly insane. It’s time for an honest and realistic analysis of the problem, and a genuine reset of our policies.

Westman says
How does the “reset” of the stumbling block to peace – the incessant demand for the destruction of Israel by the “Palestinian” people and Hamas – happen while Islam, even more expansively, calls for the ultimate death of all Jews?
Hillary with her Reset Button cannot solve this problem. Until the ruling class of Europe and the US Leftists grasp the fact of Islam’s eternal intention of genocide for the Jews(read its eschatology), and are prepared to pressure all resisting parties, there will be no solution.
gravenimage says
I think by “reset” Robert Spencer just means looking at the situation clearly–he is not implying that Muslims will suddenly be peaceful–just that we stop pretending that they ever will be.
Westman says
Oh, I got it. I don’t think a reset to clear thinking will be enough. Islam is so mired in the 7th century that there is no hope for any solution that will provide a continuous peace. The Quran is a recipie for violence, unchangeable, just waiting for the right Muslim to read it and go jihadi. How many designated terrorist groups of Islam are there – 100? https://www.state.gov/foreign-terrorist-organizations/ How many unlisted?
joe forns says
Oh there’s a solution and we all know what it is . Unfortunately the western worlds governments have become either so corrupt or chickenshit to standup and start doing what must be done . By the time they either wake up or we get rid of them it may well be to late . Europe is just about to be over run and if direct action is not taken very soon we will have lost it to them . Australia and New Zealand aren’t fairing much better . They are pouring into Canada . We have let them into our government and at the rate they give birth they will be able to use our own system to destroy us in another 50 to 75 years . We have known they hate us and we have known their desire for global domination since we became a country . Yet we have ignored the truth and failed to do anything to slow it down much less contain it . Now its not kicking at our door , its in our house and our government still refuses to acknowledge the truth about Islam choosing instead to treat us like fools . I believe we are witnessing the beginning of the end of Christianity along with the western world and our way of life . If we lose they will wipe all proof of our ever being off the face of earth and return it to the stone age . What a horrible life we are setting our grandchildren’s grandchildren up to have . They will live and die in a world devoid of happiness and will never know anything but misery and pain

You are 100% correct Westman!

Off topic.
I’d like to see a monthly list of prior month’s official beheadings and crucifixions perpetriated by Saudi Arabia by this, the best, site in the World.
I would also like one of those letters that Mr. Spencer received from the UK, that refuses Robert from stepping foot on UK soil. I would frame it and display it in my living room–with pride!

Israel and the “Palestinians”: It’s Time for a Reset
…………………..
Yes–time to stop pretending “Palestinian” Muslims are “partners for peace”.
I am looking forward to reading this book.
Roland says
I’m counting down the days to the release of Spencer’s book. Hopefully, it will reframe the Israel-“Palestine” conflict in the public arena. As Gravenimage says, “it’s time to stop pretending ,,,”. Unfortunately, both Israelis and their enemies are both pretending, each for their own reasons. Psychiatrist Kenneth Levin discussed the Israeli side of this in his book, “The Oslo Syndrome”. The Israelis are desperate to believe that they can appease their Muslim enemies and achieve a Benelux peace with their neighbors.
gravenimage says
Yes–too many Israelis are in denial.
Sabri S. says
Yes…let’s reset back to pre-1948!!
The Palestinians, and who cares what you call them, are the indigenous people of the region – not these european converts of polish and Russians who have the nerve to call themselves jews?!? They are a relic of British colonialism which created israel. Just stop it, as they are talmudic murderers, nothing more, nothing less. If they are not the black hebrew israelites of the bible, then dont call them jews. They are not, and never will be!!
mortimer says
Sabri, did you do a DNA test?

Mark Swan says
Jews have lived in that land continuously from more than 3200 years ago,
until the present day, though Jews were not always in political control of
the land, and Jews were not always the majority of the land’s population.
The State of Israel is not solely Jewish, just over 80% are Jewish.
Around 1/3 of the worlds Jews live in Israel.
About half of all Jews there are Mizrachim, descended from Jews who
have been in the land since ancient times.
Most of the rest are Ashkenazic, descended from Jews who were forced
out of Arab countries after Israel was founded or fled persecution in
Eastern Europe starting in the late 1800s, from Holocaust survivors,
or from other immigrants who came at various times.
The breakup of the Ottoman Turkish empire resulted in about 40 new
countries, including 22 Arab states.
There has never existed a Palestinian state—nor does it exist, now, as such.
Jerome Henen says
About half the world’s jews live in Israel. Other than that , I agree with you on everything.
Infidel says
Sabri, why the arbitary date 1948? Why not a date like 1AD, when the entire population was Jewish? Arabs didn’t get there until 700AD or thereabouts
Angemon says
“The Palestinians, and who cares what you call them,”
The “Palestinians” do – hence why they took the Israelis’ sloppy seconds and gobble down on that name as soon as they could. 100 years ago, Palestinians meant Jews while nowadays “Palestinians” were simply called “Arabs”.
“are the indigenous people of the region”
Nah – Arabs are indigenous to Arabia.

Cody Flecker says
The real fault lies with Israel to a great degree, and to the Palestinians to a lesser degree. The State of Israel should have eradicated the Palestinians after the 1967 War, but didn’t. The holiest site in Judaism after being in Islamic and Christian, and Roman hands since the destruction of the Second Temple, was immediately given back to the Mufti of Jerusalem by Moshe Dayan. That move facilitated the Palestinian desire to uproot all of the Jews from Israel, a quest that has never ended. Instead of destroying individual terrorists homes, whole blocks should be destroyed. The message will get out, but Israel doesn’t believe in winning this war of attrition. It just fights on and on, a definition of pure insanity…doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Abu Hummus says
Indeed Corey Flecker .
As in Israeli born during the 6 Days war ….
We were never taught in school about Islam beyond the wikipedia cliche .
When I was a kid they were called Arabs , not “”Palestinians”” .
Then we started hearing aabout “”Palestinians”” during Israel’s Peace talks with Egypt .
In the 80’s and 90’s I assumed they actually were “”Palestinians”” – this is the level of
misinformation and miseducation .
Only after the Oslo Accords went sour in 2000 with the second Intifada did I start
doing my own research …
And only after 9/11 did I start my own research regarding “”The Religion of Peace”” ….
Majority of Israelis do not know, they are not given the knowledge by the school system
nor by the media .
No Israeli Leader has ever come out and explained from A-Z why making Peace is Impossible.
and this includes extreme Right Wing figures like Rehavam “Gandi” Zeevi , Raful Eitan and
R.Meir kahana …. The Large Israeli public is unaware , has never read the Quran , doesn’t know
what Hadith means , never even heard of the Sirah Literature …. which is Ironic since the
father of Israel’s current President translated Ibn Hisham’s Sirah to Hebrew back in 1932 …
and some invisible hand has made this book completely disappear …. can’t even find it
in University Libraries … it is in the Index , but is simply gone/stolen/disappeared
and it can never be found in any second hand book shop …..
People simply do not know , and no one is making the connextion between Islam Muslim Brotherhood
Mufti Haj Amin and the Invention of the “”Palestinians”” as a Trojan Horse once the Arabs realized
they cannot defeat Israel militarily .
And since both the Islamic Problem and the “”Palestinian”” Issue are heavy subjects
that require indepth study only the actions of idiots like Erdogan and ISIS can make people
understand
