This video says the truth, quite clearly. Islam is not just a religion. It’s a political system that seeks to replace all other political systems and religions in every country where it is found.
Terry Gain says
Close. Islam is not a religion. Conceding such is suicidal.

NMH and TG. Lookit. It does no good for you to make an uninformed statement like that. Islam is BOTH DEEN and DAWLA. Read the following and kindly learn something. Stop making JW readers look like uniformed people.
51% of the Islamic source texts is political in nature. 18% is about Allah and the rest is about Mohammed. Most of Sharia law is about religious rituals, a huge part is about how to treat slaves, and a large part is political: how to run the Islamic state and treat kafirs, and punish those who disobey Sharia. REPEAT: most of Sharia is about religious rituals.
The Arabic word din is often translated as “religion,” but this is misleading because the term “religion” in the English language is usually restricted to personal worship, whereas din refers to every aspect of life. Din is more accurately translated into English as ‘governance’ than as ‘religion’.
Islam is primarily a GOVERNMENTAL SYSTEM that CONTAINS an ESTABLISHED STATE RELIGION. The DAWLA (Islamic state) and its Sharia law regulate every aspect of life.
“Din” is a word that features heavily in Islam. Both mainstream and reformist Muslim writers take the word ‘deen’ to mean an all-encompassing WAY OF LIFE carried out under the auspices of Allah’s purpose as expressed in the Qur’an and hadiths. As one ‘progressive’ Muslim writer puts it, far from being a private aspect of life discretely carried out in the mosque, “Islam is Dīn, a complete way of life”.
Din wa dawla (دين و دولة) is the slogan used by Islamists like the Muslim Brotherhood to signal that the teachings of Islam are not limited to the mosque (din), but also apply to the state (dawla). This denial of the separation of religion and state is a reaction to the secularization of Muslim countries in the early 20th century and the adoption of Western manners that occurred.
You discredit JW by making your spontaneous, angry comments. Please learn the facts.

Great comment, mortimer! Very informational.
In the Hebrew Bible, with the Law for the Jews, there was also an application to every part of the person’s life, home, work, Temple, leisure, family matters, etc.
Perhaps mo thought he was copying this combination of Law and Worship, but his was a complete corruption of all that is Holy.

Please Mortimer. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Eventually, it is inevitable that most people will agree with me. Truth always wins out in the end.
From my perspective, it makes no sense to refer to a conquest ideology which is 90% political, as a religion. By doing so, you’ve lost the war before it has started. In fact, you aren’t even fighting the war. You are of course free to concede. That Islam is a religion but consider whether it neuters the points you are trying to make. Most people consider it offensive to criticize the religious beliefs of others.
My comments are not inappropriately angry. I even occasionally use humour to buttress my points, though I’ve noticed that someanonymousperson finds my humour offensive.
You obviously have a deep understanding of Islam but, for some reason, you don’t realize that your comments would be much more effective – and could be utilized by others – if you cited the chapter and verse to which you are referring.
You’re welcome. 🙂

A religion is a set of beliefs that involve the supernatural, etc.
Therefore it is such. No one said it was a ‘valid’ religion.
If you want the definition of ‘valid religion,’ here it is:
Christianity.
Period.
Glad I could clear that up.
Terry Gain says
Only a tiny minority are of the view that Christianity is the only valid religion.

Holy rollers like you, LC, do a great disservice to JW and the fight against the spread of Islam. Take your religious poppycock elsewhere.

Imagine giving First Amendment Protection to a conquest ideology that opposes freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of conscience and will abolish all 3 freedoms when it takes control. This is not merely unwise. It is insane. Let’s get serious about opposing the spread of Islam. It begins with debunking Islamic propaganda. Tell the truth about Islam while you still can. It is not a religion. It is a conquest ideology.
Mario Alexis Portella says
Very true, but regrettably our American system is giving Islamists the necessary inch so that they could take a mile. Just look at what the Supreme Court did a few days ago: https://thegreatarchitect.blog/2019/10/18/2390/

Just came across an interesting study. The authors theorize that the brain is wired to shield us from existential threats, such as our inevitable death, by telling us that it only happens to others. We know to step out of the way of a fast approaching train but a totalitarian Dawa that does not impact us in our daily lives … it only happens to someone else, the threat is exaggerated or we must be bigots to think this way.
We are fighting human nature as well as the totalitarians.

I respectfully request your opinion regarding this article.

Hi James,
I just wrote a lengthy response but as I was finishing it, I lost the page. It was careless of me not to write it on a Word document. I will try again later.
Terry Gain says
Thanks James
While I agree with Dr. Deming’s description of Islam (except his apparent and unnecessary concession that it is a religion within the meaning of the First Amendment and thus entitled to its protections) I don’t agree that a Constitution Amendment declaring that Islam is not entitled to First Amendment protection is possible so long as Islam is deemed to be a religion. And it is not necessary if there is a consensus that Islam is not a religion.
I oppose Islam because it is a very successful conquest ideology. Although Jihad is always in the background as a threat to those who oppose the spread of Islam, this conquest ideology is now being spread not by Jihad but by migration, higher birth rates, promotion of Islam and lack of opposition. Since Islam is not being spread by Jihad, it is not going to be stopped by prosaic anti-Jihad commentary, no matter how valid.
Religion is deeply embedded In the American psyche and the public consensus to effect a Constitutional Amendment removing First Amendment protection for Islam will never be possible SO LONG AS THERE IS A PUBLIC CONSENSUS THAT ISLAM IS A RELIGION.
But there will never be the public consensus that a Islam is not a religion until enough courageous and intelligent people are willing to speak out and make this very valid point.
There is nothing to lose by making this argument and much to GAIN. It is the only feasible way to form the public consensus necessary to effect a ban on further Muslim immigration. This is the inexpensive and peaceful way to resist the spread of Islam. So long as Islam is regarded as a religion, attempts to educate the public about Islam’s goals will never be successful. Given the current composition of the courts such attempts will even be held to be illegal if challenged.
Islam is a religion of the Middle East where healthy democracies do not exist. It is not a religion of the West which was founded on individual liberty and freedom of speech, conscience and religion. Since Islam opposes (often violently) freedom of speech, conscience and religion it obviously should not receive First Amendment protection from criticism and education about its history and doctrine of conquest. We can’t get to that point so long as Islam is deemed to be a religion. People who know better should stop insisting that it is.
Is America of the West or of the Middle East?
We need more discussion as to whether Islam is a religion which should receive First Amendment protection and we need fewer belligerent attempts to stifle those of us with the courage and intelligence to challenge the conventional wisdom.
…………….
Excerpt’s from Dr. Deming’s very good article in American Thinker.
Christianity and Islam are diametric opposites. Jesus Christ preached mercy (Matthew 5.7) and advised people to love their enemies (Luke 6.27). Muhammad killed his enemies. Furthermore, he exulted and reveled in bloodshed. He gave Muslims permission to “kill any Jew that falls into your power.” At the Battle of Badr in AD 624, one of his followers brought Muhammad the severed head of an enemy. The prophet was overjoyed. He pronounced the gift as “more acceptable to me than the choicest camel in all Arabia.”
But there is another, more ominous difference between Christianity and Islam. From the beginning, there has been a basis for separating the religious and the secular in Christianity. Asked if it was proper for a Jew to pay Roman taxes, Jesus Christ replied “render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s” (Matthew 22.21). Jesus also professed, “my kingdom is not of this world” (John 18.36).
Unlike Christianity, there is no basis in Islam for separating church and state. Islamic countries are necessarily theocracies. Islam is not just a matter of individual conscience. Islam is a totalitarian system designed to instruct and govern nearly every aspect of human life. William Muir explained “scattered throughout…[the Koran are]…the archives of a theocratic government in all its departments…the elements of a code both criminal and civil are…introduced. Punishments for certain offences are specified, and a mass of legislation laid down for the tutelage of orphans, for marriage, divorce, sales, bargains, wills, evidence, usury and similar concerns.”
The implementation of the Islamic religious law is known as Sharia. Sharia Law governs not just religion, but a Muslim’s “political, social, domestic, and private life.” The Western tradition is that laws are implemented by men to establish just societies, however people living in different times and places may construe justice. But Sharia Law is based on the Koran. Muslims regard the Koran to be the literal word of Allah, a god they consider to be God. It cannot be amended, modified or reformed. It is an absolute. Since at least the advent of Greek democracy in the fifth century BC, this is a concept utterly foreign to the Western experience and tradition. Observant Muslims cannot conscientiously participate in democratic governments. They will go along with them until they reach the point at which they can implement Sharia Law by force.

Terry Gain,
First and foremost, thank you for taking the time for the very detailed reply. As I’ve stated before, I’m a physician – not an attorney – and I rely on expert attorneys like yourself for wisdom. I am a truth seeker, always willing to learn.
The question of whether or not Islam is a religion has been kicked around a lot at the Jihad watch website. The last time Robert Spencer weighed in was in his feature article entitled:
“Washington Post hits “baffling argument” that “Islam is not a religion”
MAR 24, 2019 5:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER
https://www.jihadwatch.org/2019/03/washington-post-hits-baffling-argument-that-islam-is-not-a-religion
The feature article, as well as the comments, were predictably very interesting. Frank Anderson, another attorney who sometimes posts at Jihad Watch had a very interesting take on it.
At the time that the U.S. Constitution was written, Islam was not even on the radar. I don’t believe that our forefathers at the time would have regarded Islam as a religion that justified First Amendment protection.
The United States is now stuck in a situation where Muslims make up a not insignificant 1% of the population. So far, for a multitude of reasons, there is a public consensus that Islam is a religion…
My personal feeling is that Islam is predominantly, over 90%, a conquest ideology. The small religious component should not, in my opinion, be enough to justify First Amendment protection. Also, mosques should not be afforded special tax-exempt status, etc.
Jihad Watch feature writers and commenters are, except for a nutcase here and there, are fiercely anti-jihad / anti-Islam. I am certainly one of them – as you are. We all have slightly different ideas, however, of how the battle should be fought, etc.
I guess, at the end of the day, there are really three categories for Islam vis-à-vis its religious status:
1. It is a religion deserving of First Amendment protections.
2. It is a religion / conquest ideology not deserving of First Amendment protections.
3. It is not a religion.
Right now, I’m in the middle supporting number 2 as above, but leaning toward number 3 because of Islam’s overwhelming nonreligious components.
Regardless of its religious classification, the full weight of law enforcement should be used against imams/mosques who preach the overthrow of the US government to be replaced by sharia law, etc. Admittedly, this would be a lot easier if Islam was not categorized as a religion.
Thank you again, Terry, for your very well written comments.

If you will permit me to add to your “list” another….islam is a religion but does not “deserve” or “merit’ the protections afforded, but due to the fact that the U.S. Constitution list all “deserving” religions, nor is the U.S. government involved in the business of saying what is and what is not a valid “belief system.”
As you wrote, the Founders did not mention islam….they did say things about God, etc,, but no list is made of the different sects or churches that merited protecction from the Government. And they may not have envisioned a time when a “religion” would try to destroy and take over the entire country.
There have been cases where a person, or small group, made claims of their practices being of a religious nature, and the government was put in the position of deciding if they were telling the truth. I myself had to prove once that what I was doing/not doing was a part of my religion.
One of the ways this is done is by looking at the history of the person or group.
For instance, a person could decide one day that the lowly carrot is God. He might never eat, cut, cook or in any way harm carrots. When he reaches adulthood, he gets a job as dishwasher in a restaurant. One day, he is promoted to assistant to the assistant chef and is told to “wash, cut into slices, and cook” some carrots. he refuses on the grounds it is against his religion. He is fired and appeals to the EEOC.
The EEOC people may think he is a total nutcase, but they investigate. They ask how long he has had these views, who else has, who is his ‘pastor,’ etc. They find out from his parents that he has believed that way “all of his life.”
The EEOC may look through many records and files to see if he is the only carrot worshipper, but that is not the most important aspect of the case.
He gives the EEOC his reasons for believing…”they are good for helping a person see,’ and seeing can mean understanding. He came to this conclusion in grade school and his belief is sincere.
The EEOC determines that he deserves constitutional protection and makes the restaurant give him back his job.
There are way too many moslims who firmly believe their practices are connected to what a supreme being wants of them for the U.S. government to be able to say that islam is not a religion and not entitled to the protection of the Constitution.
In the 1940’s, Jehovah’s Witnesses were locked up and their books banned in the U.S. because they would not join the military, refused combat service when drafted, and some of their books told of God destroying all human governments. Jehovah’s Witnesses are a “recognized” religion, but they did something that the government thought was leading to a government overthrow, or that they were committing sedition.
Whether or not the government ***ever**** decides that islam is not a religion…which I very much doubt…there are ways that islam can be fought.
Ultimately, our Creator is going to destroy this evil from the earth.

Your are very welcome. And thank you.
Btw, the harassment of some Witnesses by law enforcement was still going on in the early ’70’s in smaller towns. And one case I know of personally happened in the ’90’s in a small town where the sheriff didn’t like Jehovah’s Witnesses and looked for things he might be able to call a “crime,” harassing them when he saw one on the street.

@Terry Gain: Just curious, but what is your working definition of “religion”?
I hold to th Christian faith (Reformed), so I suppose I have a religion. But, if I work with the definition of religion as someone’s “ultimate concern” (after Paul Tillich, with whom I generally disagree on much else), I have no problem seeing Islam as a religion–along with self-help, evolutionary materialism, and a host of other isms. And there’s no problem about there being both true and false religion as well.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
Zuhdi Jasser ruins this broadcast with his ‘American Islamic Forum for Democracy’ nonsense. His nonsense is extremely sophisticated taquiyya. Democracy and Islam are not the least bit miscible! Never has been; never will.
These reformers, like Jasser, (both sincere and insincere alike) do more damage to our fight against Islam than a whole plane-load of new Muslim immigrants to the West. Their nonsense about reform deceives the gullible into believing that there is a resolution through reform when there is none.

IMHO, this video has too much emphasis on Jihad and not enough on the fact that this conquest ideology is being spread my migration, higher birth rates, Muslim propaganda and an abysmal failure to understand and argue that Islam is not a valid religion. It is a conquest ideology opposed to the basic American freedoms of speech, conscience and religion. Until there is a consensus that Islam is a conquest ideology rather than a religion, we will remain defenseless against it being spread.
James Lincoln says
Terry Gain,
Please see my reply above regarding the Islam/religion question…
You are certainly correct regarding Muslim demographics. I always referenced the Pew Research Center. Even under a low Muslim migration scenario, the future of most of Western Europe does not look good – particularly due to the higher birth rates among Muslims.
And of course, Muslim propaganda is incessant, aided and abetted by leftists.

All legal processes under the Islamic code that impose various humiliating and discriminatory regulations on non-Muslims, which include denial of freedom of speech, freedom of conscience and the abolition of the principle of equality among all citizenry are known as: DHIMMITUDE laws.
The laws of DHIMMITUDE are not an American problem , they are a GLOBAL problem.
All member states of the UN must abolish them.
