Refutes the BDS Movement:
“The goal of the BDS movement… is to mis-educate students…
The goal of the BDS movement is to mis-educate
a generation of future leaders, by lying to them,
by demonizing, delegitimizing, discriminating against,
applying a double-standard to the nation-state of the Jewish people.”
“BDS is part of a more generalized effort to destroy the State of Israel…”
“BDS is not a movement that aims to merely criticize Israel’s policies.
Its purpose is the elimination of the sole Jewish state on the planet.
Its modus operandi is economic warfare, which given the
success of Israel’s economy means it has been a colossal failure.
Yet its strategic purpose is to legitimize discrimination against Jews and
their state, as well as to stigmatize and isolate Israel’s Jewish supporters.
That is why BDS is not only a form of anti-Jewish bias
that is indistinguishable from anti-Semitism, but also
provides an easy explanation for why acts of anti-Semitism
soon follow wherever the movement pops up.”
Martha Pollack
(President of Cornell University in New York) said:
“BDS unfairly singles out ONE country in the world
for sanction when there are many countries around the world
whose governments’ policies may be viewed as controversial…”
“Moreover, it places ALL of the responsibility for an
extraordinarily complex geopolitical situation on just ONE
country, and frequently conflates the policies of the Israeli
government with the very right of Israel to exist as a nation,
which I find particularly troublesome.”

Hypocrisy of the Anti-Israel BDS Movement
by Mr. Cohen, 2015 June 7
***************************************
In year 2012 CE, the U.S. State Department’s Trafficking
in Persons Report revealed 17 countries that still practice
or tolerate slavery:
Algeria, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Kuwait, Iran, North Korea,
Saudi Arabia, Papua New Guinea, Yemen, Madagascar,
Eritrea, Zimbabwe, DR Congo, Central African Republic,
Equatorial Guinea, and Cuba.
Notice that NONE of these 17 countries
suffers the wrath of the BDS movement,
no matter how guilty they are of practicing slavery.
Notice that most of these countries are MUSLIM,
which means that the Far-Left-dominated news media will NEVER give them even one-tenth of the criticism they
deserve, because the Far-Leftists are the loyal allies of the Muslims.
“As we see Israel effectively being exiled
from the community of nations, could it be
because we are ascribing to Israel our own sins
when we brand it as a Nazi or apartheid state?”
Emanuel Miller
[a writer for HonestReporting dot com] said:
“The BDS movement is openly and proudly dedicated
to the destruction of the world’s only Jewish state,
and is attempting to do so by violating U.S. law.”
Edwin Black [author of the award-winning IBM and the Holocaust] said:
“BDS employs such guerrilla tactics as street actions,
student harassment, campus disruption, physical
assaults, and duplicitous coalition building in
moves eerily resembling a Brownshirt playbook.”
Harvard Law Professor Alan M. Dershowitz
said this about Israel:
“No country faced with comparable threats can boast
a better record of human rights, a higher regard for
the rule of law, or greater efforts to reduce civilian casualties.
Nor has any country in history contributed as much
to humankind — medically, scientifically, environmentally,
academically, culturally — in so short a time than has
Israel in its relatively brief existence as an independent state.”
“Israel is not perfect. No country is.
But attacking the only Jewish state
and ignoring the rest of the world’s bad
players is anti-Semitic, plain and simple.”
A long time ago, leftist ”intellectuals” decided to pursue the the cause of ”displaced” Arabs over that of the Jews of the Diaspora. Needless to say, these leftists have come up short on the success meter. As we have noticed over the years, if we have dared to look, there is nothing so prone to violence as a leftist who is a perennial loser.
“Whilst the Israeli Defense Forces are not
perfect, the obsession of focusing on them
despite being the most moral and professional
army in the Middle East is very strange.”
“Though Israel may be deserving of criticism,
what is missing is the comparable criticism
of equal or greater violations by other countries
and other groups. This constant, often legitimate
criticism of Israel for every one of it deviations,
when coupled with the absence of legitimate
criticism of others, creates the impression
currently prevalent on university campuses
and in the press that Israel is among
the worst rights violators in the world.”

“How can we achieve peace if the Palestinian
people remain without a place to call home?
The answer is simple:
Jordan is already 78% of historical Palestine.
Jordanians of Palestinian origin constitute
more than 80% of the population according to
U.S. intelligence cables leaked in 2010.
Jordan is essentially already the Palestinian Arab state.
The only problem is, the King of Jordan refuses to acknowledge this.”
