Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a boxer, too. Why is Edris Barez allowed to remain in Australia at all when he is publicly declaring himself a threat to the safety of Australian citizens?
“EXCLUSIVE: Aspiring boxer with ‘AL QAEDA’ tattooed on his arm who’s trained with Anthony Mundine is placed on terror watch list after he ‘bragged about wanting to blow a plane out of the sky,'” by Josh Hanrahan, Daily Mail Australia, November 20, 2019 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
A star amateur boxer who trained with Anthony Mundine has been placed on a terror watchlist after he was discovered with ‘AL QAEDA’ tattooed down his left arm.
Edris Barez, 26, will be closely watched by authorities because of his links to ‘Islamic radicals’ and the brother of dead Australian-born ISIS fighter Mohamed Elomar.
Barez – who was born in Afghanistan – was serving time in a maximum security prison in New South Wales when a fellow inmate inked the terror group’s name on him in large block letters in early 2014.
It was this tattoo, his links to other known ISIS sympathisers and his alleged comments about wanting to ‘blow planes out of the sky’ that saw him added to the high-risk list.
Barez was released from prison on parole in 2016 and soon after returned to praying at Quakers Hill Mosque.
He also joined the Bodypunch Boxing Gym at Lakemba, becoming a star pupil and winning multiple amateur fights….

This guy has made it clear that he wants to wage jihad against non-Muslims. If common sense ruled in Australia, the counter-terror authorities would say “Thanks for the tip!” and promptly put a bullet in his head. We cannot allow jihadis to live among us, and we have no moral obligation to waste millions of dollars keeping them alive in prison. And if deported, he might still get an opportunity to slay some infidels.
The Muslim world is at war with us. At what point will we begin acting as if we understand that? What will it take?

“What will it take ?”
I’ve often wondered that.
Seems to me that with the complicity of political leaders and with the media constantly distorting the evidence and the interpretation of events, nothing can happen to upset the globalist applecart, and the eventual rule of sharia.

I know, its just bloody amazing how the elites and the government officials seem to completely ignore the essential dual nature of Islam which is very threatening towards the existence of non Muslims. Every time and everywhere they have been allowed to increase in numbers. Eventually they take the countries system and turn it to their own Islamic law and from there there is submission through violence with eventual economic catastrophe. They are doing really well in the UK with protections put in place in the UK law by the RIGHT WING TORY PARTY! under Cameron and then under May. Not a left wing issue.

One would think Australia, of all nations, would understand the meaning of the word “deportation” with regard to criminal elements, instead of merely placing as blatant an example as this on a “terror watch list”. Is that a declaration of intent to watch the savage preening fool commit acts of terror?
(By the way, here in the greater Boston area the late unlamented Tamerlan is known as “Speed Bump”, thanks to radio commentator and author Howie Carr’s tribute to his bomber brother’s lethal lack of driving skills when being pursued by the Watertown police.)
Donovan Nuera says
Has DHS/FBI investigated the various terror mosques of Boston and Cambridge yet??? Isn’t ISNA based in Boston too?? Mueller’s lame FBI failed to bring this guy in an 3 young kids are dead and hundred maimed. Kat Tsarnaev still has possession of her daughter instead of the State of MA so now she will be brought up in their cult and have the shark-eye violent Tsarnaev sisters as in-laws. (Where are the liberal wimpy parents of Kat?? You would think they would have finally put their foot down when she dropped out of college to get knocked up by Speed Bump)

Boxing is proven to cause brain damage, mind you so doe islam.
Dano says
So this tomato can has nothing to worry about then. In many commonwealth countries, being a criminal will prevent the boxing commission from issuing you a license. And being a member of a terrorist organization would meet that criteria.
Angemon says
How about, instead, they make sure he’s going to be a jihadi elsewhere? He’s a feigner who is a potential danger to the native population – kick him out with extreme prejudice…
Hugh Fitzgerald says
Let’s see. His brother died fighting for the Islamic State. He had “Al Qaeda” tattooed downhis left arm. He declared that he wanted to “blow a plane out of the sky,”
On such slender evidence, how did the Australians ever conclude he needed to be put on a watch list? Islamophobia!

Grimly hilarious, Hugh!

Stupid on many levels.
The ink, which is against Sharia law, (marking the body).
Telling the world you support a terrorist organisation.
And the big one. Associating with motor mouth Mundine. Who is an embarrassment to Australia, to the proud Australian Aboriginal people and to the boxing community in general.

It’s a prison tat. The only thing stupider would be to put it on his face. Speaking of stupid, what was he convicted of?
Rolf Wittwer says
People like this guy only can exist due his muscles. No need of a mature brain.
A violence-oriented animal-like lifestyle characterizes them. Too many now are trying to overrun us.
Too often we capitulating to such types – that’s why they are given too much power and publicity.
Instead of bringing them away and out of danger for good !

Yeah we are supposed to accept and ‘be right’ with that sort of thing – meanwhile (going from secondhand info I heard, and inbetween when they are not leading 5 and six year old girls off to rape them) shopping center / mall security guards (which, for some reason, appear to be nearly all exclusively muslims now) may ask you to leave a shopping mall or center if your T-shirt has “JESUS IS LORD!” on it, …because it might ‘be considered controversial or offensive to some’.
Josh says
Anthony Mundine, mentioned as Barez’s training partner, is an Australian (part) aboriginal. He had a high profile as a professional Rugby League player who went walkabout from his contract only to reappear after travelling to the US. On his return he made much of the fact he had converted to Islam (not being clear about when) and since then has display his belligerence towards Australian society.
Trick_or_Treat says
PS: …well, Mundine is also ‘one of them”, isn’t he. A fellow “Brutha” !

On this boxer, we, here in Australia, are just too tolerant. It seems to be the same in all western countries. It is a nice way to be, but it can’t work when it comes to Islam. They just take advantage of our tolerance. I wanted to mention the “Outsiders” program here in Australia, (on Sky News TV station) which I have mentioned before a couple of times. This morning (Sunday morning in Australia) the three people on the program interviewed Yasmin Mohammed, an ex-Muslim from Canada. I’m sure the informed people here at Jihad watch would know her. She has a new book “Unveiled”, about the way the left and feminists in the western world, seem to support Islam. She said a couple on interesting things. She once was forced to wear the whole burqa, the full covering. She said it was horrendous, like total sensory deprivation, etc. That children were scared of her, etc. She said (surely rightly) that is was the perfect way to turn women into complete non-persons. They showed a clip of a woman, wearing the complete face cover on a UK TV show , who was whingeing about how Boris Jonson had said it was like a “Letter-box” Yasmin, with insight from when she lived amongst Muslims, said that she didn’t know why the woman was complaining about Johnson’s words because Muslims call these totally covered woman far worse. She said they are seen as fanatics and called “bats”, “penguins” and other terms I can’t recall. I always figured the more moderate Muslims mostly must have a very low opinion of the fanatics, with their full covering. Yasmin gave a some interesting insights. When she wouldn’t wear Muslim head covering, her mother threatened to kill her. She hasn’t seen her mother for 15 years, and she helps other women escape Islam’s clutches. It was an interesting interview.

Australia, like most of the west, has let RELIGION get in ten way of protecting their citizenry from the Muslims who want to destroy or enslave them
MOST leaders know very little of the Islamic “PLAN” most leaders as well as the average westerners has not read and studied their book of hate, the koran..Most think that their RELIGION Is just so passing fad and will become passive in time….Will it’s Bern around for these many centuries and is still aggressive.
Because Islam is classed as a RELIGION then it gets a free ride. Lawmakers had better, and very soon, enact laws that define WHAT A RELIGION “IS NOT”, or Islam’s PLAN will become the law of the land, DEAR GOD PLEASE SAVE US FROM..OURSELVES!
tim gallagher says
I agree, J D S. So many people in our western countries still haven’t woken up when it comes to Islam’s nature and the danger it represents. If enough people do wake up, then they will force our political leaders to get tough on Islam and see how incompatible Muslim migration is and how Islam can’t get along with our values and way of life. We should be avoiding the inevitable trouble Islam brings. On the religion issue, I believe some religions are rotten. Whether Islam is a religion, a totalitarian ideology or some other thing, I just think it is barbaric, repressive and dangerous to all non-Muslims.
J D S says
Yes Tim you, myself and most of the JW readers/posters are well aware Northway Islam really is but those who can do something about it are living in FESR, Fear of being called islamophobic, racist and bigots…FEAR has held Islam in place since its beginning……..FEAR, FORCE and the APOSTATE LAW….. …Without these three Islam would have vanished centuries ago.

Here is a story about a recent unfortunate incident in a western Sydney Cafe. 3 Muslim women were attacked by a stranger. one of the women was 38 pregnant. The attack was wrong and has no place in our society. But, the Islamic community is wondering why they are so unpopular and get attacked, the Muslim community wants more protection, worldwide. The Muslim community wants more and more laws to stop Islamophobia. My question is; has the Muslim community ever asked itself why there is Islamophobia?

I saw that man attacking the Muslim woman in the restaurant, JMB, (I guess most people here in Australia would have seen it) on the TV news and I immediately thought that the man had to be mentally ill because he seemed to have no regard for his own safety. He attacked the woman, which was a terrible thing to do, in a restaurant where there seemed to plenty of men, all of whom seemed to be Arabs, and probably Muslims, and they came rushing to her aid. I thought that the man, on his own, had to be crazy to attack the woman when he was so outnumbered. I thought he could have ended up very badly hurt. Personally, I do have trouble feeling much sympathy for Muslims because they always seem to get together and create no go zones where non-Muslims aren’t welcome and where they tend to have a nasty attitude towards non-Muslims. They also often get together in groups and stand over the police, etc. I’ve seen quite a few incidents like that over the years in Australia. As you ask, do the Muslims ever ask why they are unpopular? They create plenty of trouble and are bound to get some trouble in return. But this attack on the woman was appalling.
carpediadem says
People have many reasons to be suspicious of Muslims in general. Noone has the right to attack one peacefully minding his/her own business.

How does one ”discover” the word ”Al-Qaida” on someone’s arm? Is it like discovering Dolly Parton is rather busty? I assume there is no law for supporting, in any kind of way, an enemy of the state in Australia.
