“French Independent Senator Jean Louis Masson compared wearers of the Islamic veil to ‘Halloween witches’ during a debate in the French parliament, and added that ‘if they are not happy, let them go back where they come from.’
“The senator from Moselle hit out against wearers of the Islamic veil on school trips. He said that children were becoming ‘polluted by the proselytism of communitarianism.'”
The niqab is a garment of the oppression of women. It is a stripping-away of feminine identity. It arises from the Sharia tenet that women are not equal to men. It is contrary to the equal rights of women that France supposedly upholds. The veil is of deep concern to Westerners who oppose Islamization, but Islamic supremacist organizations (and their sympathizers) claim the issue is solely one of “religious rights.” The Quran is explicit about female coverings:
(Quran 24:31) And tell the believing women to reduce of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons, their sisters’ sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.
(Quran 33:59) O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused.
Questions, open discussions and criticisms of certain doctrines in Islam have become taboo in the West, driving much legitimate sentiment about abusive doctrines underground. But every so often, a public person becomes vocal in criticism of Islamic doctrine or practices, and then out comes the “Islamophobia” battering ram.
Critics of Masson want to see him prosecuted for his comments, as if France were under Sharia law. They’re hoping for sanctions against him, “due to the senator’s parliamentary immunity.” The attacks against anyone who offends Islam are at alarming proportions. According to a recent study, “61 per cent of French people say that Islam is not compatible with French society at all,” but Islamic supremacists and their social justice warrior friends will not give up browbeating the French public into accepting subversion. It is Westerners who are to blame for the Islamization of their societies, by allowing Islamic supremacist organizations to intimidate them and erode the freedom of speech to the level where civil discussion is barely possible.
“French Senator Says Islamic Veil Wearers Like ‘Halloween Witches,’” by Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, October 31, 2019:
French Independent Senator Jean Louis Masson compared wearers of the Islamic veil to “Halloween witches” during a debate in the French parliament, leading to calls for sanctions to be imposed against the politician for his words.
The politician made the comments during a debate in the parliament on French state secularism. The video recording of the remarks went viral across French social media, being viewed more than 260,000 times in less than 12 hours, France Bleu reports.
The senator from Moselle hit out against wearers of the Islamic veil on school trips. He said that children were becoming “polluted by the proselytism of communitarianism”.
After comparing veil wearers to “Halloween witches”, he added: “If they are not happy, let them go back where they come from.”
Several social media users petitioned Gérard Larcher, the president of the Senate, to seek parliamentary sanctions against Masson for his remarks as criminal prosecution is unlikely due to the senator’s parliamentary immunity.
In 2015, Masson also hit the headlines for controversial remarks, saying that, “Today’s immigrants are the terrorists of tomorrow!”
The bill up for debate in the Senate sought to ban the wearing of the Islamic veil for parents who accompany their children on public school trips. The Senate passed the motion in a vote of 163 votes for, 114 against, with 40 abstaining.
The relationship between secularism and Islam has become a heated topic in France, with a recent study claiming that as many as 61 per cent of French people say that Islam is not compatible with French society at all. The results of the new research were eight points higher than a comparable survey released in 2018, suggesting concern is rising.
The study comes after several reports of Islamist infiltration of public services in France, notably in the RATP, the company that facilitates the public transport system in Paris.
Two Muslim police officers later had their firearms taken away due to suspicions of radicalisation in October….

Here’s a bizarre case of a veiled woman working as a food delivery person in Atlanta. She was attacked by the person who ordered the food.
Without condoning the attack on her, which was awful, it shows how ‘Muslim-creep’ is occurring in our Western societies and becoming normalised.
Also note that she has a husband. He wants her veiled, yet doesn’t seem to be bothered that she’s going out on deliveries and potentially putting herself in harm’s way. Sort of pimping his wife, I guess.

CogitoErgoSum says
Yes, odd isn’t it that her husband makes her wear the veil and yet lets her outside the house unaccompanied by a close male relative. In addition, the Koran says that women are worth less than men because men pay for the support of women. It would seem this woman’s husband is unable to support her or his family … but I would be willing to guess that he still thinks he is of more worth than she is. Now It could be that he is disabled and unable to work but that would show that sometimes a woman is the one who supports the man and the rest of her family. But does the Koran mention anything like that? I don’t think so. I guess back in the times of Muhammad a man who was unable to support his family was not considered to be a man. So I am curious about the story of her husband.
Jayell says
“I guess back in the times of Muhammad a man who was unable to support his family was not considered to be a man.”
If my information is correct, Mohammed’s first wife has been reported to have been an ‘astute businesswoman’ 14 years his senior (wasn’t that a bit unusual?) whilst he was described as being an ‘honest’ merchant at around the same time. Bearing in mind the kind of business and general mores current in that society at the time, and reading between the lines, would the word ‘honest’ perhaps be a euphemism for something a little less complimentary, especially as it was apparently this wife who was largely responsible for persuading him to launch his career as a ‘prophet’ after he was hearing the ‘voices’ in the cave? Why would the wife of a successful merchant want that to happen? Maybe she was hoping he might at least make it as a decent ‘prophet’? In which case who was supporting who all the time? Just a thought!
CogitoErgoSum says
Well, the stuff about men being worth more than women must not have been revealed (conveniently) to Muhammad until after his first wife’s death. Because, as we are so often told, Muhammad was the perfect and most manly man of all time.
Trying to figure out Islam leads to the most ridiculous conclusions. As in the case of the veiled woman working outside the home, she should have a male guardian with her. But if the male guardian must be with her at work would it not be more sensible for the guardian just to do the work himself and let the woman stay at home? So …. when a husband cannot work he needs a male relative to take over supporting the family. But what if there is no male relative? Does the husband then divorce his wife and find her another husband to support her and the family? Seems like that would be the manly thing to do. Or …. all the able bodied Muslims could just go raid some infidels and give a small portion of the loot to the poor Muslims who need help. Yep, that’s the ticket.
gravenimage says
These attacks are awful–but I see no indication that they were aimed at Muslims. The target in both cases seems to have been food deliverers.
Lotus says
That’s right, Graven, it was not an attack specifically aimed at a Muslim.
My point was rather about how the slow drip-drip of Muslim culture becomes normalised in our societies, and how what should not be acceptable (the shrouding of women, for example) becomes acceptable over time.
Imagine ordering a food delivery and having a shrouded woman like that turn up at your home. How would you feel about that? Is that how we want the future to be?
Trick_or_Treat says
You can’t blame a human being just for speaking straight out and honrstly what their perceptions are, and what they see. It’s pretty close to my favoured descriptions of ‘ninja’s’ and walking ‘letterboxes’ . That’s my God’s honest description of what I see. If that upsets some and triggers them to be offended, and label me as a bigot and racist, etc, – just because I refuse to see something as they might otherwise expect or demand that I should see it – then, fair enough, I’m a ‘bigot’and a ‘racist’ then [whatever it is they happen to define a ‘bigot’ or a ‘racist’ as], I don’t feel ashamed, I’m only being honest.
Likewise, if that’s how they want to dress up [ie: like something out of scarey black witch tale we might’ve once been told in kindergarten] then that’s just how they insist on looking.
But, conversely, I do tend to get a little offended at seeng people walking around all dressed up in such a ridiculous manner than what I was ever accustomed to seeing as ‘NORMAL’ growing up here in Australia over the first 5 or 6 decades of my life. It’s so foreign, and anathema to my sensibilities.
And it is not just Islamic burquas, hijabs, and islamic customs and ‘sensitivities’ alone – just take haircuts/hair styles [if that’s what you want to call them] for example.
Kim Jong On aside even, I would have never have dreamed that I would see the day when people freely walked the streets sporting haircuts and ‘hairstyles’ that, even as recently as a couple of decades ago, would have seen you picked up off the street by a couple of dudes in a van with white uniforms, and raced off to your own padded room in the Pastel-Painted Palace!
gravenimage says
It is not just that Niqabs and Burqas are ridiculous, as, say, hippy or punk garb might be. These are gang uniforms, and a sign to Muslim men to rape unveiled women.

It’s very sad that the Muslim invasion of European countries , without any acclimation, is not recognized as a threat to their sovereignty!! Yet these invaders are paid welfare benefits, food stamps, housing allowances, medical, etc etc and most of them do not work! They create no go zones and demand to pray anywhere they chose at all hours of the day! They bring with them violent crimes and terror attacks!
Leaders like Merkel and Macron, etc., should be tried for treasonous acts and not protecting their citizens!
France, Germany, Sweden, England etc etc have been invaded to the point of destruction of their cities and a real threat to their national security! It’s a world wide war muslims are inflicting on civilization!!
It’s in the USA as well ! It’s why we need a wall to stop the insanity! I praise Hungary and Poland for
closing their borders and trying to stop the open border Nazis from destroying their identity and
soverignity! I pray God will intervene and help us save the world from this destruction!

Senator compares veiled women to “Halloween witches”……
Interesting. I always thought that there was a stronger resemblance to Dr. Who’s Daleks (minus the eye-stick and flashing lights on the head, of course) as they strut around with their head-to-toe black gowns virtually touching the ground. They certainly look menacing, and their ‘aluha akbar’ screams parallel the ‘Exterminate! Exterminate!’ electronic screams of the Daleks – and essentially seem to mean exactly the same.
Save Europe says
Also interesting that when I was in a pub called The Goose, in London, on early Friday afternoon, the Landlord – an Irish man – turned to his Kiwi bar man and said – ‘we are both wearing burkas at the Halloween Party later.’
I laughed a great deal and cited the comment above, from Thursday.
They weren’t aware, and it was completely coincidental. The irony! So many people think the same.

I know! That is what I always thought, they look like evil creatures, halloween witches, darth vader, etc.!
I was in a supermarket about a year ago and it’s one of those that has more of them. I turned a corner and saw three of them, looking just like this, and literally shuddered because the sight was so hideously evil! I caught the three of them giggling, as if this pleased them. I felt like saying ‘halloween is over!’ But make no mistake, I don’t fear them at all, I fear no one, and I don’t fear evil either. Because I am a Christian and have the Holy Spirit in me, who is victorious over all evil. And the Bible says we are to fear God, not man. I’m not underestimating the powers of evil, but the power of God is stronger and triumphant over it and we need to access that as Christians. And the devil has most people totally ignorant of the forces of darkness, while they are being deceived by that same darkness unawares.
