Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Israel: Poll shows that the public attaches little importance to the “peace process”

Nov 14, 2019 6:00 pm By Robert Spencer

The Israeli public is wise. Find out why in The Palestinian Delusion: The Catastrophic History of the Middle East Peace Process.

“Poll: Public attaches little importance to ‘peace process,'” by Mordechai Sones, Arutz Sheva, November 11, 2019:

The Israeli Foreign Policy Index for 2019 by the Mitvim Institute indicates that since 2015, there has been a continuous upward trend in public satisfaction with Israel’s status in the world and Israeli foreign policy.

At the same time, according to a survey by the Rafi Smith Institute for Mitvim, the satisfaction index is mediocre….

On the Arab issue, most of the public thinks regional cooperation in the Middle East is possible, but one-third of the public does not think Israel should promote cooperation with any Arab state. Saudi Arabia overtakes Egypt as the Arab state with which it is most important to promote cooperation. Only 3% mentioned Jordan, although a large majority of the public sees peace with it as a strategic asset.

The figures also indicate that a majority of the public thinks that Abbas is not a peace partner, and attaches relatively little importance to promoting the “peace process” by the next government.

A significant majority sees the EU as an opponent of Israel rather than its friend, but at a lower rate than in 2018. The Arab public, unlike the Jewish one, sees the EU as a friend of Israel. In order to improve the EU’s image in Israel, the public is interested in statements from European politicians about the importance of the relationship with Israel and more information on EU-Israel cooperation.

According to their website, “Mitvim – The Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies” is “an independent think tank that envisions a fresh start for Israel among the nations. It aims to reshape Israel’s relations in the Middle East, Europe and the Mediterranean, by promoting new paradigms for Israel’s foreign policies, enhancing Israel’s regional belonging, and advancing Israeli-Arab peace. Mitvim was established in May 2011.”…

Good – the Israeli people are sensible, and know when the media and political Left is trying to pull a hijab over their eyes.

If only the European and American peoples could see the same

Disgusting, Flavius, Thanks for the link.

Bizarrely, Lindsey Graham “stated he blocked the resolution because he did not want the Senate to ‘sugarcoat history or try to rewrite i’t.”

As Breitbart notes, “whatever its other merits or drawbacks might be, condemning the Armenian genocide would seem to be the opposite of sugarcoating history”–I can only agree.

I have never seen Lindsay Graham condemn any act of Jihad. When San Bernardino happened in 2015, he was the most aggressive in his condemnation of then candidate Trump for calling for a moratorium on Muslim entry to the US: he was more worried about whether King Abdullah of Jordan would be allowed in or not.

Now, weeks after protesting the US withdrawal from Syria and trash talking about Erdogan, he can’t bring himself to condemn Turkey for the Armenian genocide. He was lecturing us about how Saudi Arabia was an ally, then went nuclear on them after the Khasshoggi murder. I trust Rand Paul more than I trust him

The voters of South Carolina should primary him at the next available opportunity. I hope that Harlan Hill runs against him

    ……………

Maybe because it’s all bogus crap? Glad that President Trump has not pushed this charade.

The Pally delusion is pure PSYCHO-DRAMA … a self-hypnosis based on a massive historical revisionism that is the rigid dogma of this HATE CULT. According to the Pally Cult, Jews do nothing right.

The Israelis are savvier to the Palestinians manipulating the eternal victim ruse; hence, exploiting this lie to justify the never-ending merciless maiming, murder, or firing missiles to kill Israelis. The Leftists and Islamic advocates, of all sectors, swallow this perfidy without regurgitating.

One day, in the near future, the EU, Britain, and others of the West’s faux-Democracies, not unlike Israel, will endure missiles from the likes of Iran or other Islamic rogue states. One wonders, even then, if the West will cling to its naivete, its blind faith by dismissing this inevitable conclusion. Until the West becomes as savvy, not unlike Israelis, to the ceaseless propaganda, absolute lies from Gaza and others akin to its evildoing, the West will slide into an abyss of its making.
