Here is the publisher’s description of The Palestinian Delusion: The Catastrophic History of the Middle East Peace Process:
Every negotiated settlement between the State of Israel and its Palestinian adversaries has failed to establish a stable and lasting peace. This is the history of what was attempted, why those failures were inevitable, and what must be done instead.
Every new American President has a plan to bring about peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and every one fails.
Every “peace process” has failed in its primary objective: to establish a stable and lasting accord between the two parties, such that they can live together side-by-side in friendship rather than enmity.
But why? And what can be done instead?
While this failure is a consistent pattern stretching back decades, there is virtually no public discussion or even basic understanding of the primary reason for this failure.
The Palestinian Delusion is unique in situating the Israeli/Palestinian conflict within the context of the global jihad that has found renewed impetus in the latter portion of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first. Briskly recounting the tumultuous history of the “peace process,” Robert Spencer demonstrates that the determination of diplomats, policymakers, and negotiators to ignore this aspect of the conflict has led the Israelis, the Palestinians, and the world down numerous blind alleys. This has often only exacerbated, rather than healed, this conflict.
The Palestinian Delusion offers a general overview of the Zionist settlement of Palestine, the establishment of the State of Israel, and the Arab Muslim reaction to these events. It explores the dramatic and little-known history of the various peace efforts—showing how and why they invariably broke down or failed to be implemented fully. The Palestinian Delusion also provides shocking evidence from the Palestinian media, as well as statements from the Palestinian leadership, showing that negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians will never work.
But there is still cause for hope. Spencer delineates a realistic, viable alternative to the endless and futile “peace process,” that shows how the Jewish State and the Palestinian Arabs can truly coexist in peace—without illusions or unrealistic expectations.

There has been conflict in the Near East for a long time. To see what the Jews did when they arrived from bondage in Egypt check out the Old Testament, Deuteronomy 7:1-2. This is none of our business.

Never mind that Israel is a staunch ally of ours, as well as the only democracy in the midst of unfree Islamic crap holes–Singleton Mosby is just as happy if she is destroyed by Jihadists and genocide committed against the Jews. He is no Anti-Jihadist.
Singleton Mosby says
How many “staunch allies” of the U.S. have murdered American service men, attempted to murder hundreds more (USNS Liberty) and engaged in espionage (Jonathan Pollard) for the benefit of the USSR?
gravenimage says
Uh huh. This was *an accident*–the very sad definition of “friendly fire”. And whence the additional claim that Israelis have murdered American servicemen? What calumny.
Singleton Mosby would have us believe that this is the same as Muslim screams of “Death to America!” and endless Jihad terror plots against us. Nice try, thug.

When Arabs say, ‘Palestine’, they mean ‘Reunited Jordan’.
Of course, the term ‘Palestine’ was never favored by Arabs. They called this region ‘Lower Syria’.
“There is no such country as Palestine. ‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible… Palestine is alien to us.” – Awni Abdul-Hadi, Peel Commission testimony, 1937
“There is no such thing as Palestine in history. Absolutely not.” – Arab historian, Dr. Philip Hitti, Anglo-American Committee testimony, 1946
“It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but southern Syria.” – Saudi representative to the United Nations, 1956
“Never forget this one point: there is no such thing as a Palestinian people. There is no Palestinian entity … Palestine is an integral part of Syria.” – Hafez al-Assad to Yasser Arafat

“…throughout the past 10 years, the P.A.

filling its schools with anti-Israel and anti-Jewish

“Like many Jewish organizations, J Street is seduced
by lofty slogans like pro-Israel/pro-peace. These words
are intended to give the impression that all that Israel
has to do is immediately withdraw from the territories,
and then peace would ultimately break out.
This ignores the empirical evidence of what happened
after the withdrawal from southern Lebanon in
May of 2000, giving Hezbollah and their 150,000
missiles easy striking distance to Israel.
It also ignores the internally gut-wrenching Gaza
withdrawal of 2005, where the land has been used
to launch thousands of rockets* and incendiary
devices launched from kites and balloons,
making life for those on Gaza’s neighboring
communities a living hell and destroying
thousands of acres of Israel’s agricultural land.”

To put the issue into its most simplistic perspective, I cannot imagine any peace is possible between these cultures, and the best reason I can give for that conclusion is “The Arab Mentality.” That mentality is a product of 1400 years of hate, violence, superimposed on their false claim of domination, subjugation of all non-Islamic people, all of which is in a belief system that is a rabid call to preach and promote oneself to violence, as has been proved by the conduct of these people of the Islamic culture over the eons. Though I will read Mr. Spencer’s book to determine what miracle he believes will enable these people to live side by side in peaceful co-existence, right now, to me, that is an obvious impossibility. As long as the Arab mentality claims the continuing false notion that a Deity directed them to be dominant, and refers to the Jewish people as “apes and pigs,” and as long as they have in their charters and regularly speak of their intent to destroy that nation and its people, and as long as that mentality rejects the obvious conclusion that to try to emulate the Israeli’s would be in the best interest of the Arabs, no two state solution is in the cards. With that said, I find it incredible that the Democratic candidates are accusing Israel of not cooperating in trying to resolve the two state conflict, when the Arabs have rejected every peace effort that has been made to them over the last 70 years.

Maybe when Trump is re-elected with a record Jewish vote, Dems will reject the poison from J Street. I’d love to see Michael Bloomberg challenge the vile Schumer for his seat. Bloomberg has more money than Schumer can raise. That would wake up Pelosi et al to the dangers of anti-Semitism.

The problem is that the Arabs have been brainwashed to believe they once lived in Canaan. Anyone reading the journey of the Children of Israel from Egypt to ‘the promised land’ knows the inhabitants of Canaan were Nephilim people. Now if the Arabs want the world to believe they are hybrid descendants of the Nephilim, they have a bigger problem than they think they have!
When the Arab lands were being divided up after the war, the Arabs were given ‘Transjordan’. They ignore this because they believe that once Islam has held territory, that territory belongs to them forever. They want Israel because it was once occupied by Muslims.
However, the Arabs are also deluded when shouting their war cry. They believe Allah is greater. Very soon they will find out that YHWH is not intimidated by their war cry and that He is greater and will protect his people, the Jews.
