The ten worst countries for Christians are North Korea, Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Pakistan, Sudan, Eritrea, Yemen, Iran, and India.
Hmmm. With the exception of North Korea, Eritrea (partially) and India, there is something all those countries have in common. What, oh what, could it possibly be? Vernon Brewer doesn’t mention what it is, and in that circumspection he is in the broad mainstream. But will ignoring and denying the problem make it go away? Unlikely.
“Vernon Brewer: Over 245 million Christians are persecuted around the world – Some are being killed,” by Vernon Brewer, Fox News, November 2, 2019:
…It’s easy to go about our lives and forget that in places like Nigeria, Iran and North Korea being a Christian can often lead to death. After all, for the most part, persecution for our faith isn’t something most of us face….
According to Open Doors’ 2019 World Watch List, over 245 million Christians experienced high levels of persecution in 2018. That’s more than the entire population of Brazil — the sixth-most populous country in the world.
The persecution these men, women, and children face varies. Some are denied jobs, disowned by their families, or thrown out of their communities. Others face imprisonment and unspeakable physical abuse. Some are forced to literally run for their lives. And at least 4,305 Christians died last year, simply for choosing to follow Jesus.
That means approximately 11 believers will die today. Eleven died yesterday. And 11 more, give or take, will die tomorrow.

German conditions like in the Orient: Turk kidnapped and raped German female student
——————————————————————————————————————–
With the ever stronger, promoted and desired Islamization more and more Islamic traditions are being introduced to Germany. This also includes the abduction of women. The victims are above all ” infidel women “, as the reports from Egypt and Pakistan prove. In Turkey, the abduction of women is even part of the Muslim marriage ritual in some areas. In the politically red Lübeck a Turk has now been arrested, who allegedly violently kidnapped, tied up and raped a woman.
t-online.de reports:
Gagged and tied to a bush: So a driver found the 20-year-old at a highway in Lubeck. Now the police could arrest a suspect – he is accused of more crimes. Three weeks after the kidnapping of a Lubeck student, the police have caught a suspect. Officials of a civilian patrol group arrested a 43-year-old in the area of the stadium in Lubeck on Friday morning, as the public prosecutor’s office and the police headquarters jointly announced on Monday. On Friday, the district court issued an arrest warrant. The student was found on 12 October on a lonely dirt road near Monkhagen in Schleswig-Holstein. A 62-year-old motorist had discovered the woman in the morning just before the entrance to Highway 20. She was handcuffed, gagged and tied to a bush. The 20-year-old had participated in a student party in an event center in Lubeck. The prosecution investigates for attempted murder, as spokesman Christian Braunwarth said. The woman was also raped and injured. The arrested 43-year-old of Turkish descent is accused of yet another crime. He is said to have kidnapped on September 26 early in the morning a 25-year-old woman. The woman from Lubeck had been attacked on her way home from a party. The perpetrator then took her to a small garden lot located there. However, the young woman was able to free herself and escape. The police does not rule out that the detainee has committed further crimes of this kind. The CID asks for clues.

Actually Christianity in India is not that worst the rankers simply include India becuase if we accurately rank the prosecution of Christians by country then all might be Muslim country
In India the Missionaries are common and carried out legally and prosecution of Christians takes place at Central and Eastern parts of India
But unlike Muslim countries its not institutionalised as there is law to protect minorities in India
In southern India Christianity is growing and has no record of prosecution
Ken Stone says
“no record of persecution” means nothing! I have friends in Andhra Pradesh (southern) India who report to me regularly of persecution including burning churches, homes, beatings and destruction of property. Although there is freedom of religion on the official books, it is not enforced by the Hindu government because the perpetrators are Hindu!.

There is no persecution of Christians by Hindus, the multimillion dollar charity of the Joshua project who work with open doors was banned from India so they are against BJP as they want the Indian leftist government to be elected as its easier for their business. If they were a honest charity they would not be banned but they are not just dishonest about what they do with the money they get from their so called charity but they are involved with the radicalisation of the tribals who have killed thousands over the last 70 years in the north east to make the north east Christian only states. These Christian terrorists groups follow the same interpretation of the bible as the white invaders , the first white invaders in India were the Portugese church in the 1500’s who killed thousands of the indigenous Indians and turned temples to churches.India has suffered from both Christian and Muslim invaders.. The Kerala and Tamil Christians follow the communist government and also want to divide India. The Joshua project and their so called Christian charities lie about Christians being the victim when they are causing the divide and rule.. There are many Christians in India who follow modern Christianity and support Modi government but not the communist separatist who want to divide India that are paid by the Joshua project and corrupt so called charities.. Robert should not blindly follow charities because they claim they believe in Jesus.

Back up your claim that Christians are slaughtering thousands of people in India to create a Christian-only state. Not that I will be holding my breath, of course.
Infidel says
Not just southern, in North East India, there are 3 states that are Christian majority states, and one that is the second largest state of Southern Baptists, after Mississippi. There are Indian states where proselytization is illegal. While many may object to that, one should note that if Christians are allowed to do it, so would Muslims be, and the latter would be a lot more successful at it due to the fact that most of them are Urdu speaking, as opposed to Christians, who need English to spread it: it doesn’t do so well in Indian languages.
However, it is problematic that there are Hindu activists who see Christians as much of a threat as Muslims. However, I disagree w/ Spencer that there is a goal to remove Christians from India: the RSS also supports the Citizenship Amendment bill, which allows illegal refugees from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh of non-Muslim faiths to attain Indian citizenship over 11 years. Christians are amongst the faiths listed: if the RSS/BJP thought that Christians are as bad as Muslims, they’d have excluded them from the list, while keeping Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis intact.
Terry Gain says
A competent Pope would be speaking out against the persecution of Christians. But then a competent Pope would not have embraced Islam and would not be promoting migration. As a Catholic, I am hoping that the next Pope is Catholic as well.

Why not just follow Jesus?

The implication that Catholics are not Christian is quite mistaken.

Double standards of the Leftards are controlling the narrative that only Muslims are victims, whereas, Muslims are the principle perpetrators in the world today.
The churches around the world should have an international conference to discuss persecution of Christians and make recommendations to their church governments to take specific actions.
Michael the Disciple says
It’s very bad that they are being killed, but realize one thing that is VERY important. It is a REQUIREMENT as the scriptures tell that one be a DISCIPLE OF THE CHRIST in order to be Christian. NO religion of the world teaches that. Not one. So based on this, it becomes evident that none of these people being killed are Christian, they are instead, part of Christendom. Christendom is the group of sects claiming falsely to be Christian, that God’s word calls “false religion” and “works of the flesh”, false teachers, and wolves in sheeps clothing.
Lotus says
Huh? You seem to be saying that Christians who are killed in various countries are not Christian?
Maybe I have misunderstood what you wrote, but that is a pretty odd viewpoint. Care to elucidate?
paul 316 says
I second that request.
Michael the Disciple says
Does this answer your question? Just because they’re being persecuted as being Christian, and their false religion says they’re Christian, and they THINK they’re Christian, does not MAKE them Christian in God’s eyes, and it’s His eyes that count. I said God, NOT Jesus. Jesus is king and was messiah, but is NOT God.
Michael the Disciple says
90% of my post didn’t post. I’ll re-write it later. But essentially yes, you are correct. If one is part of a religion, they’re not Christian. If one isn’t Jesus’ disciple, they’re not Christian. If one believes things that Jesus didn’t teach in the first century, they’re not Christian. If one doesn’t OBEY what Jesus taught, they’re not Christian. Nothing pagan must they touch and they must remain “no part of the world”, and many other things.
Lotus says
Well, you seem to have your own private, cranky definition of what a Christian is, so we’ll leave it there.
gravenimage says
What is “Michael the Disciple” babbling about? Is he saying that if people are murdered for being Christian that they are not Christian? What vicious claptrap.
Michael the Disciple says
No, YOU said that. I listed SOME of the minimum requirements God gave us for being a Christian. It seems you do not know what God’s requirements are, but you DO know what FALSE RELIGION’S requirements are, which are not the same as God’s.
gravenimage says
I know that God’s requirements for being Christian do not include sneering at people who are dying for their faith in Jesus. Good lord.

Similarly, one can say that Hindutva vigilantes who attack Christian missionaries are cowards b’cos they can’t confront illegal Muslim immigrants from Bangladesh or even normal Muslim activists who are there throughout the country, but particularly in North India and Kerela. They’d be a lot more admired if they took on groups like SIMI, MIM, Deobandi schools and so on, and tried to de-Islamize Aligarh, instead of going after Christians

Can’t believe “JihadWatch.Org” wrote this article and included India in the list. In the contrary, Christian Evangelists, often from Foreign Countries (Comin in Tourist Visa), come and use every book in the trick to convert poor Hindus, often Tribals, as a part of Joshua project. To Christianise this land and finish off the last Pagan strong-hold and an Indic religios-Civilization, that has lasted for 10000 years. The International Church lobby pumps in billions of dollars to proselytyse and convert people of all Inid cfaiths. Strangely, they don’t try to do the same in Muslim countries. Because Hindus and Hinduism has no such proselytisation activity, Hindus are soft targets for Missionary Mafia. Large section of Indic religious demography was changed in between 2004-2014, particularly in N-E India, when the crypto Italian Christian Sonia Gandhi ruled. Govt. schemes were diverted in such a way, that only Christian families in hilly tribal areas got the benefit and not other non-Christian families. It was not expected of Robert Spencer here. India is the only country in the history of the world, where Jews were never persecuted. It is because of it’s overwhelming Hindu majority population. But also, it doesn’t mean Hindus will keep quiet, so that this land can be converted into Christianity, and destroy the native faith and civilization.
Lotus says
The dalits and other low castes convert to Christianity because they are treated like crap by higher-caste Hindus. At least in Christianity they find some individual worth and meaning in their downtrodden lives.
If Hindus dismantled the apartheid-style caste system (which still persists today, in spite of many government policies and programmes) instead of whining about Christian missionaries, fewer low-cast people would convert.
Infidel says
There are 3 sects in Hinduism – Vaishnav (Vishnu worshippers, who are 85% of all Hindus), Shaivyas (Shiva worshipers) and Shaktas (worshipers of the mother goddess). Only Vaishnav scriptures have Vishnu giving importance to Brahmins, and thereby sanctifying the caste system. However, one can easily switch from Vaishnav to any of the other sects, which do not put the caste system on a pedestal. (In fact, that’s what I did: my family is Vaishnav, but I quietly apostatized to Shaivya.)
Also, as far as Indian politics go, all secular parties there to this day practice caste politics, which in combination w/ appeasement of Muslims, used to give them an electoral edge. The BJP/RSS in order to negate the Muslim influence, always practiced the policy of uniting Hindus, which meant overriding any caste differences.
gravenimage says
Thanks for that background, Infidel. From everything you have written here over the years, I did not think you supported the caste system. Glad to have that confirmed.

This article is from Fox News–it was *not* written by Jihad Watch.
The main point here is that so many of these nations are Muslim-majority.
And it is odd that you are so enraged by peaceful Christian preaching, but appear to have no problem with violent Islamic Jihad.
Robert Spencer regularly reports on the victimization of Indians by Jihad, You many not care about this, but Jihad Watch does.

The reference to the RSS wanting to get rid of all Christians by 2021 was not in the original FoxNews article. I’d like to see a link to where that came from. While I’m not a fan of the RSS – they do need to modernize, as in bringing Hindus to the 21st century in terms of free enterprise and start treating Christians like they do Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists – I find it hard to see why a party w/ a goal of eliminating Christianity from India would support a bill including refuge for them from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh

Lydia Church says
“When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.”
Revelation 6; 9-11
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Matthew 16; 24-26
Matthew 10; 32-33
“Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
Revelation 2; 10

I think it is somewhere in the Bible that Jesus said that in the future people will be killed for his name (= Christians).
somehistory says
When it comes to the persecution of Christians, every country where moslims form the government, and rule by the unlawful islam, takes part in the torture, killing, etc.
If a complete list of all countries where Christians are being persecuted, one could see that the majority of the countries where persecution of Christians is ongoing, are moslim.
Jesus said that His disciples would be “hated by all of the nations on account of my (His) Name.”
He said that His disciples would be “persecuted” by those who believe they are doing God a favor by persecution of Jesus’ followers. This fits moslims who say what they are doing is ‘god;s’ will and commanded by their ‘god.’ Of course, their ‘god’ is not The One True God and it is not His will that Christians be persecuted and murdered.
Jesus also said, “When they persecute you one one city, flee to the next city and I tell you, you will not complete the circuit of the cities before the Son of Man arrives.”
The current state of affairs in this regard is one more clear sign that the “end has drawn near,” and evil is soon to be removed from planet Earth, because Jesus is soon to ‘arrive.”

“SO WHAT?!” shallow libocrites say; “All Christians are plump smug rich white people, while all muslims are starving oppressed poor swarthy People of Color – YOU RACISTS!”
But of course in reality (a country no liberal has ever personally visited) most Christians these days are black Africans, while islam itself is the most white supremacist creed on Earth, started by Arabs (who, according to geneticists, are Caucasians).
