The Tab calls itself “a site covering youth culture and student culture.” And apparently kids today think censorship is cool, or whatever word they use nowadays. The Tab’s Greg Barradale mocks Sebastian Walsh as a “virgin” for the crime of standing up for the freedom of speech, and for protesting against his suspension by the University of Central Lancashire for asserting that halal slaughter is barbaric and that the UK is being “Islamified.” Apparently in Greg Barradale’s perfect world, the government and universities will have full power to suspend, fine, or even imprison those who dare to criticize halal slaughter, and those who note that the prohibition of such criticism, among other things, is evidence of Islamization. Totalitarianism is coming swiftly to Airstrip One, courtesy of Useful Idiots such as Barradale.
“Student crowdfunds £30k to sue uni who suspended him for Islam comments: What a virgin,” by Greg Barradale, The Tab, November 1, 2019:
A UKIP student who was suspended for complaints over comments he made on Islam has raised nearly £30,000 to take his uni to court.
The University of Central Lancashire suspended Sebastian Walsh after he said “Halal meat is violent and barbaric” and that “the UK is being Islamified” in a seminar….
Sebastian, a UKIP member and Young Independence regional chairman, is currently taking his case up with the Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA), the university sector’s complaints board, after failing to win an appeal against his suspension.
After this, he says he’ll go to court.
Sebastian’s “Fight for freedom of speech in Universities!” crowdjustice page has managed to raise £27,600. With 1,243 donations so far, it’s exceeded his initial £20,000 target.
“I am not going to let this go until we have sent a message to all universities that we will not allow free speech to be trampled,” he wrote…

The University of Central Lancashire is in the old industrial town of Preston. Preston used to be a decent place but now it’s riddled with muslims. Muslims don’t respect UK laws, UK traditiions, UK values. UK citizens, freedom of speech or democracy and presume dictatorial ownership of any area that they infest and any institution therein – like the University of Central Lancashire. Let’s hope that Sebastian Walsh sues them for every penny they’ve got.
CogitoErgoSum says
What if I were to say to the Christians and other non-Muslims of the UK concerning the treatment of Muslims:
“And kill them wherever you find them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and persecution is worse than killing.”
What if I were to say that regarding Muslims? Shocking, isn’t it? If I were to shout this publicly anywhere in the UK I would probably be arrested for hate speech and for inciting violence and encouraging murder. Yet this is what Muslims believe their god, Allah, asks them to do to those considered to be Infidels. See Koran 2:191. Why is this not mocked? Well, we know the answer. We must be very careful with what we say because the Muslims just might very well do as Allah wants and kill those of us who dare to mock their god. If we do not respect what Allah wants they are to fight us even to the death.
Yes, they are willing to fight for what they believe. Are we? Do we believe in anything at all anymore?
Ray Jarman says
I second the hope that Sebastian Walsh sues and wins. Who would have thought that the citizens of the once GREAT Britain would bow to the pernicious cult of the pedophilic mass murdering monster?

It is a problem. And the University of Central Lancashire, at least as much as most other English universities, is very accommodating to Moslems. They’re an important market, especially for UCLan.
R Russell says
Simple. become vegetarian unless you know for sure your dinner has not been halal slaughtered.
The RSPCA had very little to say last time they were slaughtering animals in paths and gardens last year.
Oddly enough the links to these scenes in English streets seem to have disappeared.

This story has angered the hell out of me. I salute Sebastian Walsh for having the balls to not surrender. I’d hate to be in further education now…it’s vile. Indoctrination of the highest order. I spoke to my nieces, who are still at school, about what they’re taught and yes, it’s as bad as I feared. Luckily their parents are clued in so they’re not falling for it.
I’m a long time vegetarian myself, so that “blessed” meat has probably never touched my lips thankfully, and I won’t eat any foodstuff with that damned halal logo on because I don’t want to fund our destruction. I have boycotted many brands and that list grows everytime I find out another one has sold out to the Islamic pound/dollar etc. I bet the vast majority – I’m in the UK so I know what our culture can be like – who get drunk at the weekend and stuff a kebab into their face will carry on regardless, not knowing anything about what they’re eating and where the money goes.
How IS this all going to end? I’ll wager not well. I fear it will take some serious conflict to remove the infestation of our societies.

I am a vegetarian myself–but no one should have to go meatless for Muslims. We need to end brutal Halal slaughter in the West.
Infidel says
I’m not vegetarian, but I have pork as often as I can whenever I eat out, so that that risk of halal ain’t there. Also, I even avoid vegetarian items labeled ‘halal’: it’s not just the slaughter, but the idea that the food item in question is endorsed by islam that bothers me: I just avoid it.
I did try a ‘Beyond-Burger’ recently, but that burger cost $10. So that technology has ways to go before that product is a viable alternative to actual animal slaughter. But I do wish it success
Christopher Watson says
I was almost vegetarian, that is I only ate meat once or twice a week. Now, I’m fully a pork eater. Bacon for breakfast and various dishes of pork every day and every meal. I even moved to Brittany, where there is greatest number of pigs in Europe. Even my snacks are French bread and pork pate.

That poisoned roast leg of lamb, the one that killed muhammed?
Was that halal?
Would the Tab be prepared to ask muslims that interesting question?
Did the great “prophet” die as a result of coming into contact with halal or non-halal meat?
Perhaps it doesn’t matter:the great warrior who so desperately wanted to die in battle, didn’t die in combat[except with a Leg of Lamb},and the great prophet didn’t see that coming.

So this Islamoprobic want to stop Muslim from eating halal food..

“Brian Hoff”–really, “DefenderofIslam”–just wants to be able to continue cutting throats.
He’s just sad he can’t practice that on Infidels without consequences.

Youth culture mag mocks UK student for raising money to sue uni that suspended him for opposing halal slaughter
………………..
Disgusting. As though you should be suspended from school for opposing this barbarism.
Marigold says
Good lad. It is high time someone spoke up about how cruel this ridiculous and unnecessary Islamic custom is.
Joe says
Greg Barradale’s mind and morals are aptly described by using the word “virgin” in a derogatory way. Greg, you need help.
Infidel says
Yeah, it’s a pretty juvenile attitude to think that just b’cos someone has never had sex, s/he is a wierdo. Or for that matter, jumping to the conclusion that just b’cos someone opposes animal cruelty during slaughter (it wasn’t clear whether Seb Walsh opposes all animal slaughter, or just halal slaughter), he couldn’t have ever had sex w/ anyone
Anne Smith says
A brave and principled young man, so good to know that he has the courage to fight for the welfare of animals.
Halal slaughter is cruel, disgusting and totally unnecessary.
Simon Platt says
Just to be clear, that’s not Seb Walsh in the photo. I suppose it must be that Barradale fellow.
I don’t think Seb can afford foreign holidays.
Simon Platt says
I live in Preston, and am the chairman of the local branch of UKIP, and used to work at the University of Central Lancashire, and I know Seb Walsh slightly.
Seb is not longer involved with UKIP in any capacity. But there’s no doubt that he was very badly treated in this respect. He’s not the only one – although the University was good to me when I worked here. I wish Seb luck.

Thanks for that background, Simon.
