Swiss authorities should not tolerate this, and should demand assimilation as a condition for immigration. But they, like other European rulers, are weak and spineless, and leading their nation down the path of national suicide.
“Erdogan warns Turks in Switzerland about integration,” translated from “Erdogan warnt Türken in der Schweiz vor Integration,” by Fabian Eberhard, Blick, December 22, 2019 (thanks to Searchlight Germany):
Two days, two speeches, two faces: On Tuesday, at his official appearance at the Refugee Forum in Geneva, Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave the appearance of a diplomatic leader. In front of dozens of TV cameras, he asked the international community for more support for Turkey.
This was quite different from the day before. The Turkish ruler stepped in front of his supporters in the elegant Four Seasons hotel and, shielded from the public, gave a propaganda speech against integration.
SonntagsBlick has a video of the performance. A conference room with almost 200 people, white tablecloths, silver cutlery. And on stage: Erdogan, who conjures up his fantasies of a great power among the Swiss-Turks present.
“So we continue!”
While Swiss police officers patrolled in front of the hotel with submachine guns, the Turkish autocrat inside said in a frenzy: “One nation, one flag, one home, one state. So we continue!”
Applause.
Erdogan makes it clear to those present: Even if they live in Switzerland, they have only one nation to be true to: Turkey. The President extends his hand in the air, four fingers outstretched, his thumb bent – the “Rabia salute”, the distinctive mark of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood.
Erdogan goes even further: There is only one country for the Turkish diaspora to follow. The task in Switzerland, however, is to expand its influence: “Get active, in politics, science, the economy!” In other words: infiltrate Swiss society.
Turkish loyalists abroad have always been Erdogan’s ideal. Already in 2008 he called out to his compatriots during a speech: “Nobody can expect you to submit to assimilation. Assimilation is a crime against humanity!”
To keep the Turkish diaspora on track, Erdogan founded the Ministry of Foreign Turks (YTB) in 2010, an agency with 300 employees and an annual budget of almost CHF 200 million. The official motto of the YTB: “We are everywhere where we have a citizen, a member of the same race, a relative.” It should come as no surprise that Erdogan’s propaganda campaign in Geneva was organized and probably financed by that very ministry….

So that’s what that 4 fingers gesture is for…learn something new everyday! I dont particularly care for Erdogan. However, there is nothing wrong with the muslim community worldwide pledging allegiance to Islam first, and man made nations second. No one has a problem when Zionists do the same exact thing, and they are not villified….
Gamzu says
I won’t argue with putting God before country. You didn’t say that, and neither did Erdogan. You said “Muslim community first.” He said Turkey first. “Zionists” don’t “do the exact same thing.” They have a wide variety of opinions. And if by “Zionists” you mean Jews, that’s even more true. As for Zionists not being vilified, what world do you live in?

The idea that Jews are trying to force Gentile to submit to Judaism is of course *quite* false, as is the implication that Jews are waging terrorism against anyone who is not Jewish as Muslims do against all Infidels.

@Sabri S…The greatest deceiver was likely that big buzzard that emanated from Moe’s heated imagination. That’s credible whereas any NON-man-made religion really isn’t. It all stems from our own projections and needs. Works out OK if we have something worthwhile like Judeo-Christian values to help guide us, but pretty badly if we have power-hungry cults instead. We in the West happily criticize Islam but we have a similar whopper like Scientology still taking up good space.
It seems the R4BIA sign began after Aug. 2013 when a mob of pro-Morsi Muslim Brotherhood buddies gathered at the 4th mosque (Rabaa al-Adawiya in Cairo) but were violently broken up by Egyptian security forces, resulting in the deaths of scores of Morsi supporters. Some wags say the four fingers sign really stands for 4 wives and no rights 4 women.
The MB started around 1924 in Turkey after Ataturk was out of the way.
Gork says
In Christianity, there is a concept of coexistence with governments as seen in Mark 12:17. In Judaism there are prayers for wisdom and peace for the leaders of whatever country they live in. The latter two religions aim to be a positive force for building a just and loving society. They outline what people should strive for, whereas the laws of the country outline what people should not do.
Islam is different, however. There is no coexistence between Islam and governance. Islam IS governance. It is literally the submission to Islamic law. So declaring your allegiance to Islam first is different from someone who simply wants to be righteous in his or her own way.
As for Zionism, it is simply the right of return of the Jews to their original homeland. You would declare such a right for Islam, but Judaism is at least a thousand years older than Islam. Do they not have rights too?
I suggest you read a bit more about what you make comments on. Zionism is not religion. It is about the right of return. It is exactly the same claim that Arabs make in all the lands in the middle east. If one is vilified and dismissed, then so should the other.

Erdoğan asked his supporters to secure important jobs in European countries
In a meeting with representatives of a Turkish-backed diaspora group in Geneva, Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, urged his supporters in Europe and other countries to work hard to secure important posts in the governments of their host countries, pledging them the support of Turkish government agencies. Erdoğan attended a workshop with representatives of the Union of International Democrats (UID, formerly UETD) in Geneva on the sidelines of the Global Refugee Forum held December 16-18, 2019. UID is often described as the long arm of President Erdoğan in Europe for mobilizing the Turkish and Muslim diasporas for the goals of the political Islamist rulers back in Turkey. In his speech Erdoğan underlined that Turks living in Europe should try to get important positions in the governments of their host countries. Erdoğan also asked UID country representatives to work with other diaspora groups and promised the full support of Turkish government agencies. The UID meeting was attended by Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Technology and Industry Minister Mustafa Varank, ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) officials and other government representatives. The Turkish government regularly briefs UID representatives on its policies and priorities and coordinates UID activities. The most recent coordination workshop was held in Antalya, a tourist destination in southern Turkey, on November 8-10, 2019. The meeting once more revealed the UID links to President Erdoğan’s government and how it is controlled by ruling party officials. Thirty-eight representatives from 17 European countries attended the workshop organized by the AKP Antalya branch. The UID representatives were hosted at the popular Ramada Hotel by Turkey’s ruling party. On November 8, the UID members were briefed by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on a military operation in northern Syria, bilateral relations with European countries and a number of foreign policy issues. Çavuşoğlu was accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister Yavuz Selim Kıran, in charge of consular affairs at the ministry.Cevdet Yılmaz, chairman of the AKP’s foreign affairs department and former minister of development, informed participants about party policies and possible projects and underlined the importance of lobbying in Europe, saying, “The number of Turks living abroad has reached 7 million, and they should engage in politics, economy, sports and the arts in order to lobby for Turkey.” Then, Abdullah Eren, the head of the diaspora agency, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), described Turkish diaspora policy and explained YTB activities focusing on Turks in Europe. Moreover, the UID representatives noted local challenges faced by diaspora members and their suggestions for overcoming these problems. Participants representing UID country or regional branches also discussed UID’s long-term strategy and its role in Turkish communities in Europe.Zafer Sırakaya, a lawmaker from the ruling party, high-level party officials, UID President Bülent Bilgi and Vice President Ayşe Aşut and head of the youth branch Metehan Çapacı were also present during the workshop. According to its web page, UID was originally founded in in Cologne in 2004 as the Union of Turkish Democrats of the European Union (UETD) and changed its name to UID in 2018 at a convention in Sarajevo attended by President Erdoğan as keynote speaker, reflecting the ambitions of the group to expand its operations beyond Europe. It currently has 152 offices in 17 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In 2017 an investigative report by German police linked Ankara to a boxing gang in Germany accused of going after opponents of the Turkish government. According to the investigation Turkish parliamentarian Metin Külünk provided money to a boxing gang, Osmanen Germania, in Germany to buy weapons, organize protests and go after critics of the Erdoğan government, German media reported. The police investigations also suggested Osmanen Germania has contact with UID, the AKP’s external lobbying group.

“Assimilation is a crime against humanity. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam, Islam is Islam. The mosques are our barracks, The minorets are our bayonets, The cupolas our helmets, and the faithful our soldiers.” Tyyip Erdogan, President of Turkey 2008.
The Erdogan push for muslims not to integrate or assimilate is well documented and is nothing new. He is a promoter of Islamic supremacy and as such is an existential threat to western nations.

SAFI says
It’s not an Erdogan thing. It’s always been Turkey’s policy to try to prevent the “assimilation” of turkish “communities” or turkish nationals living abroad because they’ve found those to be extremely “useful” politically and also because of their typical turkish/muslim separatism/supremacism.
Notice how Turkey demands all sorts of unusual political/cultural/religious/economic/etc privileges for their “communities” in other countries even as they have ruthlessly crushed all minorities inside their own supremacist state driving some of those to extinction and now forcing this “One nation, one flag, one home, one state” ideology mentioned in the article on the few remaining survivors.

I’m sensing a theme…
But, really, pious Muslims *never* assimilate–instead, they try to impose Shari’ah wherever they go–often violently.

Yep.

When I have a look at Turks in Germany – with a German passport or a Turkish or both – I can see a lot of sleepers and submarines and agitators. Just yesterday a Turkish journalist tried to teach the Germans that it is democratic and tolerant only to wish a “Happy Holiday” instead of “Merry Christmas” so that non-Christians can integrate better. But when Ramadan comes along the next time we will be tougtht by the same personell that we have to wish every Muslim a “Happy Ramadan” and bow to their customs of not eating during the day and not eat ourselves at that time in public.
Or one of the Turkish parlamentarians in Germany, he put up the demand that Germany should condemn the Turkish genocide of Armenians, but not without stressing that in reality it is a German guilt and not only a Turkish one.
The list of taquila, lies, and destruction could be endless.
