“A teacher who was forced to work in ISIS schools has revealed how staff were told to focus on Koran verses about war and murder – and how a friend was stoned to death after refusing to teach jihad.”
What? Qur’an verses about war and murder? But…but…our moral superiors keep insisting that there are no such verses!
“‘One teacher refused to teach jihad. They stoned her to death’: Woman forced to work in ISIS schools reveals how staff had to focus on Koran verses about murder and war… or be killed,” by Faith Ridler, Mailonline, December 11, 2019 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
A teacher who was forced to work in ISIS schools has revealed how staff were told to focus on Koran verses about war and murder – and how a friend was stoned to death after refusing to teach jihad.
The woman, named only as Ayat, said she tried to teach children in her home in eastern Syria after ISIS – also known as ISIL – ‘closed the schools and turned them into training centres for fighters’.
But terror chiefs found out about the 27-year-old’s scheme after the mother of one pupil ‘talked too much’, Al Jazeera reported.
In the ‘Women of ISIL’ documentary by Thomas Dandois, she explained: ‘The news spread from one person to another. And ISIL found out a teacher was teaching at home and was not following their instructions.
‘They told my husband: “She’d better get training in ISIL’s laws and teach children at the mosque like we want. Or else…” It was a threat. I had no other choice.’
Ayat, whose last name is not known, underwent training in ISIS laws and the ‘approved’ curriculum, during which she said she was constantly reminded that she was ‘one of them and had to abide by the rules’.
The teacher was then made to take an oath in the presence of the emir’s wife in Deir ez-Zur.
In the film, Ayat said she was on her guard ‘even at home’ and would tremble when she saw a vehicle of religious police pass by.
She added that at times, supervisors would make surprise visits to the mosque to check the teachers were ‘behaving the way they instructed us to’.
Once, a group of officials came to the place of worship to monitor her work while she was teaching alongside her close friend, Faten.
Her friend, however, had refused to teach children the prescribed curriculum and instead allowed her students to draw and sing children’s songs.
This led to a clash between Faten and the officials – and the next day, the teacher was arrested at her home.
‘She was accused of adultery. And for this, the punishment was stoning until death,’ Ayat said. ‘They take the person to a specific place and they implement the punishment. And that is exactly what they did with Faten.’…

First, I am a follower of Robert Spencer. He is a scholar, and a brave advocate of freedom and civilization. The only nit to pick is the spelling of the name of the book of Satan. Please spell it Koran. Simple. English. Not ersatz Arabic.
Thank you.
Infidel says
If you are a follower of Robert Spencer, the correct spelling is ‘Qur’an’. It’s not ersatz Arabic: it’s the transliterated word. (I usually have ‘q’ replace a ‘k’ for a lot of Muslim words)
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
Interestingly, my DragonDictate auto-spells it as “Koran”.
Not sure why….

Jack, both “Qur’an” and “Koran” are correct, but “Qur’an” is closer to the Arabic pronunciation (rather like “Beijing” and “Peking” vis-a-vis Chinese pronunciation)
As for “Koran”, this is *also* an approximation of the Arabic–surely you don’t think that the Koran is an English book?
Whatever we call it, I want to see its evil exposed.

Peking was actually Pei-ching in Chinese before they switched to the phonetic alphabet

Well ,here are a few koranic verses for the brighter students to ponder..
“Will they not then ponder on the koran?If it had been from other than allah they
would have much incongruity therein”
koran 4 v 82
Are there ANY errors in the koran?
{Even one would mean the koran-and thus allah’s word-is imperfect}
Oh Yes the koran is FULL OF ERRORS:thus the koran is IMPERFECT
And by allah’s OWN criterion of k4:82 cannot come from God{as it is imperfect} but from somwhere else{“other than allah”}
Excluding the well known scientific ones..there are other errors.
eg
koran 5:46 allah claims he bestowed on Jesus the Gospel{Impossible:it came AFTER Jesus and Jesus was not involved in the writing down of the Gospel}
koran 9:30 And the Jews say “Ezra is the son of allah”{No they don’t;Jews don’t believe in anyone called Ezra claiming to be the son of allah}
koran 3:65 “Abraham was not a Jew”:Abraham is listed in the genealogy of Jesus{Matthew 1} who was Jewish{John 4 v 22}so Abraham WAS connected with the Jews
EVEN the koran insists that the Jews have “the prophethood” koran 45 v 16{note BTW that muhamed was NOT Jewish and so by koran 45:16 could not have been an authentic prophet}

Islam has been making big inroads in Africa – way beyond Saharan Africa (Egypt/Libya/Algeria/Morocco/Mauritania/Mali/Niger/Chad): it’s now in places that were never known for being Muslim. And the Africans have little to counter that, since neither Christianity nor Islam have African roots

Awful, Flavius. Thanks for that link.

For not teaching war verses supervisors accused her of adultery a death sentence.
When brought the woman accused of adultery Jesus spoke “He who is without sin cast the first stone.”
Peace is dastardly.

Islam sponsors endless wars and murders. We are accustomed to thinking that most humans view war and murders as things not to be encouraged. Is this an accurate perception? If it were, wouldnt the huge incidence of Muslim wars and murders impel cult members away from the cult? But that doesnt seem to happen, does it? Are we then to infer that the billion and a half captives of Dar-es-Salaam find wars and murders desirable? These people are incomprehensible through normal and habitual lines of reasoning, so of course we miss the signals that waken their sleepers among us. D

I like your use of the term our “moral superiors” in the report above, Robert. Ain’t that the truth about the lefties who sugar coat islam. I suppose some of them are just ignorant and know nothing about Islam’s nature. But, for the others, how evil would you have to be to support an ideology that is so foul and barbaric that it stones this teacher in this way (along with all the other barbarous things it does). I guess the lefties think that they are morally superior because they are oh so nice to Muslims and are just far too polite to call islam out as the vile, totally barbarous evil that it is, but the idea that people who won’t criticise an ideology as barbaric as Islam shows itself to be over and over again think that they are morally superior to the people who rightly criticise Islam makes me want to vomit.

I guess they didn’t much like the friends curriculum. If you refuse to teach war, murder and islamic jihad we will assemble a mob, make stuff up about you, and then throw rocks at you until you are dead. I guess you could call that strict adherence to islamic ideology, or else.

Perhaps the “Islamists” are suffering from the disease of “kuffarphobia”? I wonder what the cure could be? Chinese re-education camps?
Jayell says
A (justified) criticism often aimed at those in leading roles is that they do not practise what they preach. Mohammed, however, preached war and murder (amongst a few other things) and is reliably reported as spending a lot of his time practising it as well. ISIL were therefore truly following in their master’s footsteps and anyone who disagreed should have questioned whether or not they should be following the same master.
