What do authorities think when they hear this news? What do they think that the U.S. will be like in twenty or thirty years? Do they think that every last one of these Muhammads will grow up to be upstanding, loyal, patriotic American citizens with portraits of Zuhdi Jasser on their walls? Does it ever occur to them that some of them might end up embracing the “extremism” that they are so confident that Muslims in the US do not hold — despite the steady stream of news about some Muslims in the US plotting jihad massacres?
Do Barack Obama and the others who are responsible for this ever ponder the fact that nothing is being done, beyond cosmetic gestures and half-measures, to prevent young Muslims in the US from becoming “extremists,” because no one dares to address the root causes of “extremism”?
“TOP PICKS Muhammad makes list of 10 most popular baby names in the US for the first time,” by Fionnuala O’Leary, The Sun, December 5, 2019:
THE most popular baby names this year have been revealed with Muhammad making the top ten in a coveted list for the first time in the US.
According to BabyCenter’s list of 100 most popular baby names for girls and boys in America, Sophia is still at the top for girls while Liam is the No.1 boy’s name.
Although the nation’s favorite monikers have more or less remained the same since 2018, there has been a rise in Arabic names in 2019.
This year, Muhammad and Aaliyah have replaced Mason and Layla placing tenth on the coveted list.
In 2018 and 2017, Muhammad came in at No.14 on BabyCenter’s list with a 29 percent jump in popularity this year….

Ominous.
Westman says
It seems the US census missed a few and is greatly outdated. If I remember the last one correctly, a citizen could define his own race and demographics so I could be anything. Good luck finding out how many are in the Westman tribe and how many Muhammads we have in the US
JW_Reader says
They name their babies after their perfect men Muhamed, who probably have committed every crime known to civilized people. Then they go on national TVs and talk about human rights, justice, equality, so on and so forth. Some one should remind these muslims to stop following the pedophile cult first and foremost. Then and only then they will be allowed to any discussion/debate.
StacyGirl says
Agree wholeheartedly. We need to tell people who Muhammad was and what his own “holy book” says he did.

Infidel says
Yeah, it’s in the top 5 in the UK, and we can see the UK today. I really hope that the more recent decrease in Muslim immigration is accompanied by a Muslim exodus, so that we can see Mohammed fall off the list in future years, if not next year
James says
I would guess that one obvious reason for the high position of Mohammed is simply that there are very many conventional Christian or Jewish names that are each used for a small number of boys. That is the point of names, to distinguish people from one another. One of the British commentators joked that if she went to a playground in England in some places and shouted Mohammed, half the children would put their hand up. That is like an invasion of robots. With islam it is as if we in Christian countries named half of all boys Jesus and perhaps half the girls Mary. If the Muslims had as wide a variety of different names and no concentration on that one name, it might not seem so threatening. But that is a threatening name, because of its association with Sharia law and terrorism.
somehistory says
I agree. And must ask, why “coveted” list? When I named my children, I tried to choose good names with good meanings and ones that hadn’t been overused to the point of being boring.
How boring is the name “John Smith,” and sorry for any with that name on here.
But so much worse is this name for the mass-murdering, raper of children, lying son of satan. It is an ugly name with an ugly connection to a disgusting creature of the past.
gravenimage says
This is true, but Muhammad never used to be on the top ten list of boy’s names. There are more Muslims invading here, and more of them breeding like rabbits.
Trick_or_Treat says
Gee, just for a second there, when I clicked on this posting, I thought maybe I was gonna read that dirtbag muhammad had actually made it onto the list of the Top 10 mass-murdering homicidal psychopaths in all human history.
Downhearted.
Niemoller says
Mohammed far in the lead, with starting the largest and longest mass murder campaign in history at 270 million and counting.
Niemoller says
The name Muhammad once didn’t elicit any feeling in me, but now it is just a creepy name, curdles the blood, like hearing Hitler. Muhammad just brings up images of beheadings and rape. A disgusting sound.
abad says
I guess Moslems do not have enough imagination to come up with decent names for themselves.
Ciceto says
Yes in the U.K. this year 2019 Mohammed ties first place with Smith.
Ibrahim is tenth most popular
Dawne Swift says
Yes and it’s only approx 15 years ago that Muhammed reached the top ten in the UK. So beware US it only gets more pronounced.

In the Bible, the word “name” can, and does, refer to a person’s reputation. In modern life, one “makes a name for himself,” and when certain names are mentioned, the reputation of someone famous or infamous, comes to mind.
Abraham, David, Solomon, Joseph, Jesus.
or hitler or even adolph, mussiluni,(if I didn’t spell that correctly, I don’t care.), pol pot, mao, or dillinger, capone, etc.
All those little boys named after the slime of the desert…labeled with such a vile name…how many will grow to be just like that evil creature?
Cathy says
In their culture, the name is respected, not vile and evil as it is in other cultures. I don’t think they consider him foremost as a murderer etc., but think of him as the originator of Islam. Another common name for Muslims in the Middle East is Achmad, which means brother or cousin. There are also Ibrahim (Abraham), and Yousaf (Joseph). But the point is, this name moving up in popularity indicates the increase of Muslims in the US who identify as Muslims. Do Muslims ever name their kids non-Muslim names? At least it gives them away as Muslims, so we know who they are.
somehistory says
Yes, I am aware of the “meaning” of it being on the top ten for most babies named. They are taking over by having children with multiple wives and multiple children with each wife…and they want everyone to know it as this is a form of their ‘jihad’ warfare against the rest of us.
But, as I pointed out, a “name” has a reputation behind it, esp if it has been carried by someone famous or infamous. As far as I know, there is only one Cher, and people can know by hearing it about whom it is spoken. If there were thousands, millions of Cher’s, the name wouldn’t be unique. And the name of their fake prophet tells us all we need to know about the male of the species…moslims. The other moslim names used less frequently, still carry the bad rep of the faker.
Certainly, they don’t think of the original mo as “vile” and ugly and evil. But, I do and I was expressing my own opinion. The opinion of moslims who believe otherwise are only important in that they are committing so much terror, mayhem, rape and murder…in the name of that foul desert rat, mass-murdering, raper of children, lying son of satan the devil.
If not for the evil and trouble they cause everyone else, I most likely wouldn’t give them a second’s thought. Except to think how stupid for the females to go to the beach and sit in the hot son wearing an all-over, head-to-toe garbage bag while their male members of the family go and swim, splash around in the water and cool off. Or to see them on a hot day, walking the streets with a half-dozen little kids, dressed to the eye balls in the black bags and wearing a frown.
George says
Every son of Islam is named Mohammed
JamesC says
Where does that leave Umar, Walid, Rafiq, Karim, Abdurrahman, Kemal, Faisal, Mustapha, Aziz, Ali, Abdullah, Jamal, Tariq, Amr, Yahya, Yusuf, Dawud, Musa, Harun, Idris, Yakub ? ?
There are lots of Koranic names, names of Companions, epithets of allah, for even very conservative Muzz to draw upon. Some names do not by themselves show whether the bearer is a Muslim, Christian, or Jew. Umar is most likely to be a Muslim – but what about Rafiq ? And Dawud could be anything.
gravenimage says
Not every son–but very often the first boy is named Muhammed, in whatever spelling.
tim gallagher says
These types of statistics, which I’ve seen before in relation to the UK, are always a very bad sign. If you have that many Muslims in any country that they can show up in these list of names, you can be sure you are going to be afflicted with all the endless problems Islam always brings with it (the terrorist attacks, rape gangs, child brides, honour killings and all the other barbarous garbage Islam brings).

And what will happen when the little Mohammed grows up and converts to Christianity (in the US)? He can change his name to Jack ;D

Muhammad makes the list of the 10 most popular baby names in the US for the first time
…………….
Deeply chilling–and even worse when you take into account how many variations there are to this name–Muhammad, Mohammad, Muhammed, Mohammed, Mohamad, Ahmad, etc etc.
Infidel says
Mark Steyn touched on this a bit, and one of his readers pointed out that this story is fake: she noted that Muhammed, is ranked 345th (in popularity, between Ronan and Dax) with 654 registrations, and the second spelling of Mohamed is ranked 454th with 960 registrations. Add them together and you get a rank of 237th most popular boy’s name for 2018 in the U.S.
Of course, those are just 2 spellings: if one adds all the other variations that you noted (Ahmad ain’t exactly one of them), then it probably would go up a bit. I’m not sure that it would end up in the top 10, though
SJ says
Not sure about that. According to BabyCenter:
Muhammad – #32
Mohammad – #241
Mohammed – #163
Mohamed – #317
Muhamad – # 1,296
Muhammed – #530
Seems to me that JW got it wrong, as grouping all variations would yield a higher ranking than #32.
gravenimage says
This story is from The Sun–it did not originate from Jihad Watch.
JenZ says
The methodology used by Babycenter somehow consolidates names that sound the same but with different spellings, which probably accounts for this.

Grayson? That is a name? Caden? I hope that there is something wrong with that list and Muhammad is just an aberrant blip – lust like Grayson…
JamesC says
Compared to some names, those are almost conservative.
gravenimage says
*Really*, Richard? You have more problems with American children being named Caden or Grayson than you do Muhammed?
I do tend to prefer traditional names personally, but I have a nephew named Kaden, and am proud that he is a sweet boy and is not being raised as a Jihadist.
P. O'Brien says
I don’t like the other names, either.

It’s our task to make the name Muhammad to be as unpopular as naming your kid ‘Adolf’!!!!
The best way is to call out every “moderate” imam or “mainstream” Islamic celebrity /athlete-‘/politician in the US and Europe and ask;”Why are Apostates sanctioned for death?”..and why is Islam the ONLY religion that does that?”.
When they try to deflect the question or outright lie about it being “not being done any more”, dare them to write a public open letter to mufti al-Tayyab at al-Ashar and al-Qawadari in Qatar and the Ayatollah to “confirm” that that commandment is in fact archaic and not to ever followed in the future. If those big Islamic thought leaders publicly discard that evil sanction, it may produce a major exodus of those Muslims who have been too afraid to leave, thus causing a decline of membership in the Ummah…and maybe a big jump in Christian converts.
On the other hand, if the big imams say that the sanction is still enforced, then the lying Western “moderate” charlatans will look like very stupid liars….and public opinion will turn against this stupid cult like it had with Scientologists (who at least don’t kill their apostates…as far as we know). (A double bonus would be the moderates being called “heretics” by the big imams and sanctioned for death!)
I think a major unified public campaign to first knock out this completely indefensible part of Islam (which even the most lefty Marxist will have to admit is BARBARIC) will be the best way to defeat it ; it’s like kicking the capstone out from underneath an inverted pyramid: once it goes, the whole thing goes down! Islam is too big to fail, right??!! ( Let’s try this starting on Christmas Day.)
