Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Turkey is allowing senior Hamas operatives to plot jihad attacks against Israel from Istanbul

Dec 20, 2019 3:00 pm By Robert Spencer

Here is yet more indication that the alliance with Turkey is a sham.

“Exclusive: Hamas plots attacks on Israel from Turkey as Erdogan turns blind eye,” by Raf Sanchez, Telegraph, December 17, 2019:

Turkey is allowing senior Hamas operatives to plot attacks against Israel from Istanbul, The Telegraph can disclose, as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plays host to the terrorist group’s leaders.

Transcripts of Israeli police interrogations with suspects show that senior Hamas operatives are using Turkey’s largest city to direct operations in Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank, including an assassination attempt earlier this year on the mayor of Jerusalem.

Israel has repeatedly told Turkey that Hamas is using its territory to plan attacks, but last weekend Mr Erdogan met Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas, and Turkish intelligence agents maintain close contact with the group’s operatives in Istanbul. “We will keep on supporting our brothers in Palestine,” Mr Erdogan said.

Turkey is already facing questions from Western allies over its support for extremist rebels in northern Syria and over its commitment to Nato after buying a Russian missile system.

Turkey agreed in a US-brokered 2015 deal with Israel to stop Hamas planning attacks from its soil but has consistently failed to honour the agreement, Israeli officials said.

The issue has fuelled hostility between the two states, even though they maintain diplomatic relations. “Israel is extremely concerned that Turkey is allowing Hamas terrorists to operate from its territory, in planning and engaging in terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians,” its foreign ministry said….

Turkey is an artificial construct. The Turks’ genocide of the Armenians was the basis and rationale for the Nazi’ genocide of the Jewish people. Islam and National Socialism are two sides of the same coin.

The Turks are not indigenous to Asia Minor. The Seljuks and the Ottoman Turks invaded from Central Asia and then adopted Islam. As we should constantly remind people – “Istanbul was Constantinople.

Minor correction – the Seljuq Turks were already Muslim when they invaded Anatolia and defeated the Byzantines, and there, their various offshoots rose – the sultanate of Rum, Qonya, et al. The Ottomans were one of the offshoots of the Seljuqs who started elsewhere before they captured Constantinople and renamed it. But you’re right: they’re not native to Asia Minor: the Greeks, Armenians and others were.

Constantinople was Constantinople, is Constantinople and will always be Constantinople.
Turkey is a vivid example of what islam wants to do with the world and specifically with Christians.

No Islamic nation can be trusted, especially Erdogan’s Turkey. He has proven his alliance to any and every Islamic terrorist group (except the Gulens] because as he has stated, “there is no radical Islam, only Islam.” I don’t understand why he is still in NATO and the American and other NATO assets at the Incerlik base have not been removed and Turkey placed on a list of nations supporting terrorism.

Turkey is still a member of NATO because the PC governments of the West are very determined to not notice that there just might be a problem with Islam.

Never, never, never should a non-Muslim country trust another country run by Muslims. Verses 3:28 and 9:29 of the Koran make this evident. Muslims are not to take Infidels as friends or allies and Muslims are to fight Infidels until the Infidels submit to Islam by becoming either Muslims or Dhimmis. Any treaty between a Muslim leader and an Infidel is to involve the payment of the Jizya in one way or another — through the giving up of treasure, blood or dignity or whatever the Muslims want the Jizya to be. Ultimately any treaty with Muslims will be nullified by the Muslims when it is no longer in the best interest of the Muslims to honor it and, until then, the Muslims will pray for the return of Isa to abolish the Jizya system and KILL all Infidels. This is what the Muslim god expects of Muslims and it is what the Muslims will do. Everyone should know this … especially, ESPECIALLY, the leaders of nations.

The U.S. has some really sleazy allies just to keep a foot in the door. Turkey is one. Saudi Arabia is another. Hell, the U.S. even sent money to the Gazanians in Gaza.

Actually, the US has cut aid to the “Palestinians” because of their paying the families of Jihad murderers.

The news out of Greece has not been good either—constant provocations by the Turks.

Regarding the Saudis, I just finished a book by Pierre Canossa: “The Saudi Terror Machine—The Truth about Radical Islam and Saudi Arabia Revealed”. Definitely informative and worth a read.

I can’t believe US considers them “allies”.

I suspect that Trump himself considers Turkey an ally about as much as Truman considered the USSR an ally in the closing months of WWII.

Sometimes, you know, you have to align with evil to defeat another evil. But I do think, and I doubt you will disagree with me here, that the time is way overdue to kick Turkey out of NATO. And if this can’t be done, then perhaps it is time to be done with NATO and form a new alliance with European states (and others) who understand the Islamic threat as much as was the case with the Communist threat and before that the Nazi threat.

Islam, Communism and Nazism. All totalitarian ideologies and all enemies of Western Civilization—and free people know this or, if they don’t, they are not helpful to freedom in the least and are foolish parasites.

I think the only reason Trump doesn’t consider Erdogan an adversary (after obtaining the release of Pastor Andrew Brunson) is that if he does, then it’ll be tougher for him to explain to the establishment Congress why he wants to pull US troops completely out of Syria and Iraq.

The current situation is ugly: if a war breaks out b/w Turkey and Israel, and if Turkey can rig it such that they get attacked first, then what’s there to stop NATO from invoking Article 5 and declaring war on Israel? I know that there are a lot of Russophobes who would be delighted to take Ankara’s side against Putin, but if something like this happened, a number of European countries that are virulently anti-Israel would be only too happy to take Turkey’s side in such a war. But how would the neo-cons, who’ve been demanding that the US continue to pretend that Russia is the Soviet Union, react to, say, an Israeli attack on a Jihadist camp in Turkey? They’ll be like the Impeachment Dems: they won’t support pulling out of NATO, but they won’t support backing Turkey under Article 5 either.

Truth be told, the US should completely pull out of both NATO, as well as all its troops from the region. Move CENTCOM headquarters to Israel and out of Qatar. The only reason Russia and Turkey are allies is US presence in the region. Once we’re outta there, watch the various centrifugal forces pull Russia and Turkey apart and against each other, be it Armenia-Azerbaijan, the war in Syria, Kosovo (where Russia support Serbia and Turkey supports the Muslims), and so on. Also, watch Turkish influence grow in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan as well, much to the chagrin of Moscow.

Also, Turkey will vie against Iran for influence in Azerbaijan – a country that’s Turkic but Shia, and which shares an ethnic group w/ Iran in Tabriz.

I remember Erdogan’s OIC speech from a couple years back. I remember him saying that “Kudus”(jerusalem) will forever belong to the muslims and that the Muslims must work together to make all of “Palestine” free with Kudus as it’s capital. He also accused Israel of being nazis who murder children, etc…
So why should Turkey’s open support for and collaboration with Hamas surprise anyone?…

SAFI, I “corrected” you on another thread, noting that Muslims call Jerusalem “Al Quds”–then I found that the Turks do indeed call Jerusalem “Kudus”. My apologies.
