Britain has been home to non-Christians for centuries, and they never complained about Christmas carols. There is only one group in Britain that might object to calling Jesus “Lord,” and that group isn’t likely to attend the Christmas pageant now that the word has been removed, because the whole idea of celebrating the birth of Jesus is predicated upon the now-unmentionable title.
Britain is, of course, finished.
“Fury as primary school tells pupils to say ‘Baby Boy Jesus’ instead of ‘Lord Jesus’ while singing Away In A Manger so that pupils of all faiths can join in,” by Mark Hookham, Mail on Sunday, December 14, 2019 (thanks to Ibrahim):
Children at a primary school have been told not to sing the word ‘Lord’ in the Christmas carol Away In A Manger – so that pupils of all beliefs can join in….
Youngsters at Whitehall Primary School in Chingford, Essex, have also been told to sing edited versions of two modern hymns when they attend a carol service and nativity play at a nearby church on Tuesday.
The words ‘Jesus the saviour’ in the carol Love Shone Down have been replaced with ‘Jesus the baby’, while the words ‘new King born today’ in the carol Come And Join The Celebration have been replaced with ‘a baby born today’.
One furious mother, a former Metropolitan Police officer, said the changes were utterly unacceptable and likened it to taking ‘Christ’ out of Christmas.
The mother, 36, said: ‘If he was just a baby boy named Jesus, there wouldn’t be a celebration in the first place. He is our Lord and Saviour and King of all Kings – that’s the whole point.
‘It is also a tradition – it is taking away the traditions of the country.’
The mother said her two sons, aged nine and 11 and who go to church and Sunday school, were very upset when Whitehall head teacher Zakia Khatun announced that the words of the carols would be changed.
She said: ‘My kids are being stopped from having the freedom to express their beliefs. They are shocked.’
The mother claimed that at a meeting on Friday, Ms Khatun defended her decision, insisting the school is inclusive of all children, and maintained that last year 60 children did not attend the carol service and nativity at St Peter and St Paul Church in Chingford because of their religious beliefs.
But the mother believes the school is now discriminating against Christian pupils and has been told other parents are unhappy too.
She said: ‘We live in a multicultural society, so we should respect other beliefs but unfortunately Christianity is not getting respect.’Ms Khatun doesn’t want the people who don’t have the same beliefs to feel excluded, yet it’s OK to exclude Christians.’…
Whitehall is a multicultural state school with 485 pupils and is rated good by Ofsted inspectors. The school says it promotes British values, including ‘tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs’.
A spokesman for the school said: ‘We are a community school serving children from a range of faith backgrounds.
‘In the past, not all were able to come together to celebrate Christmas, so we have worked hard with our local church to ensure the celebrations this year are accessible to all our children to participate in, together, as one.’
A spokesman for the Diocese of Chelmsford, which includes St Peter and St Paul Church, said: ‘The service maintains the traditional Christian message of the joy of Christmas in a way that can be celebrated by everyone, including those of other faiths and none.’

Why don’t we come straight out and say we are sick and tired of Muslim influence in this country. If they don’t like our ways then they should get back to where they came from. If any good Christian were to try the stunts Muslims are pulling in the UK in a Muslim country he would be stoned to death, as is their faith.

Note to Diocese of Chelmsford:
Numerous Muslim cites make clear:
For a Muslim to Wish “Merry Christmas” to a ‘kufar’ is VERY haram, as–to true believers–it is a blasphemous recognition and an acceptance of Christianity and Jesus as the son of God.

Where is the law, written or unwritten that says the benighted muslims are insured against feeling insulted ? Anything that doesn’t slaver praise on their phony, halucinating, murderous, so called prophet, they claim to be “insulting”. But they are not insulted when history reports that he sexually played with a six year old girl before raping her at age nine.
What a guy, huh ?

Chingford (London E4) does not have a reputation for being a particularly ‘enriched’ area of the capital – at the moment at least – although that isn’t saying much, with an ‘English’ component of the overall London population given as only about 44% as of a year or so ago. So, without checking its website, one wonders exactly how ‘multicultural’ Whitehall school is, unless a significant percentage of its pupils have been bussed in from outside the immediate catchment area (as often happens in the UK these days). Also, “the school says it promotes British values, including ‘tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs’ – really? Perhaps they’re keener on the ‘tolerance’ than the ‘values’, assuming the school management actually knows what these ‘values’ are supposed to be. And no need for further comment on the Diocese of Chelmsford, which, of course, is under the auspices of Her Majesty’s Department of God (aka the Church of England), And it’s not always clear exactly what they want to promote.

Multicultural? Not when SOME refuse to assimilate to the host country culture. All inclusive? Not when one group thinks their way is better than everyone else. Khatun should know that mulims aren’t going to attend anything remotely related to a Christian festival, why should they Jesus to them is nothing more than a useful prop. Khatun is just doing her part to further the objectives of islam. Maybe all the Christians should stay home and not participate in the carol service. Better yet, if possible and if you’re a parent of one of the Christian children, home school your children and avoid the rot that the state wants to feed young minds. As a Christian I’m not changing anything of who I am to appease anyone. I expect the same stance from the Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, Atheist , etc. I can learn about them, but why would I want them to change what and how they celebrate their ways? To be accepting or understanding or multicultural, it’s all inclusive, NOT Al Walaa wal Baraa.

Who’d have thought that a supremacist, theocratic ideology–whose prophet prescribes “terror and death” to keep believers and non-believers in line–would be so easily offended? Duh!
Islam would rather children sing religious songs about “chopping off heads”….much more uplifting. And the DIW (dhimmis-in-waiting) say nothing. To raise concerns would be “Islamophobic”.
Submission by a thousand virtue-signalling cuts.

Let’s try not to offend Christians and Jews either by making certain we never use the term “prophet Muhammad.” Use of either “Muhammad” or “false prophet Muhammad” should be encouraged — although personally I find “liar Muhammad, “killer Muhammad,” “rapist Muhammad” and “pedophile Muhammad” also to be quite acceptable.
CogitoErgoSum says
Oh, and repeated use of the phrase “peace be upon him” or “pbuh” after any mention of Muhammad’s name is also most annoying if not downright offensive.

UK: Primary school sings “Baby Jesus” instead of “Lord Jesus” in Christmas carol to avoid offending Muslims
That’s right, we wouldn’t want to offend people who live for a religion that says “kill unbelievers” while they’re actually doing it. This is just another case of muslims “feelings” taking precedence over every one else’s.
She said: ‘We live in a multicultural society, so we should respect other beliefs but unfortunately Christianity is not getting respect.
She’s right, if they’re so “multicultural” now then why must they hide an essential part of their own religion to not offend MUSLIMS? (After all, who else but muslims would be offended?) This is how submissive and conciliatory Western education is becoming for islam. A concession like this is empty with no substantive value whatsoever, all it does is deny Christians their right to full expression and insults muslims with a backhanded gesture that is really condescending and trivial in connotation. Sort of like, “here you go you little babies, we’ll take out this one word for you. Therrrrrre, now, do you feel better? we’re just trying to be sensitive here, we know you would never want to kill us when we’re so kind.”
Pfah!

So….because a few children are Muslim (and I say, Muslim, because I’ve never heard of any other non-Christian childs parents complaining at a school) that means the rest of the children at the school have to lose out, and families who are Christians have no choice but to sit back (again) and simply take this crap!
I hope the parents of the non – Muslim children remember this when their child has another class visit to a Mosque (again)

This kind of idiocy has been going on for a long time in various ways. My son attended a Montessori preschool in Canberra in the 1990s which boasted that it celebrated all the different religious festivals. Well, not quite. Because at Christmas, there was no mention whatsoever of Jesus – all the ‘songs’ were about getting presents from Father Christmas. And Easter was about some big Bunny. I must have an odd translation of the New Testament because I don’t recall rabbits being mentioned in the Gospels. The bottom line was that the official policy of multiculturalism meant that the background ‘wallpaper’ culture could be dismissed and ridiculed, but not any other.

Well, that’s tough sh_t, I must say! But if they and their parents prefer western civilisation to the stone age that is Islam, then they need to put up with it, and with its irritable little religious peculiarities. If they don’t wish to do that, then the obvious alternative is to f__k off back to Islamland. There isn’t, nor should there be, any middle way.
And with all of that said, I have doubts that they can legally change the words, any more than they could elect to change the words of an opera piece, a hit pop song, or any other piece of musically-set lyrics.

I attended this school many years ago when it was taught by well educated teachers with good Christian values. Sadly it appears to have been infiltrated by extremists following orders from Muslim elders intent on destroying Christian beliefs by brainwashing young children.
