NEW YORK, January 3, 2020: The American Freedom of Defense Initiative (AFDI), one of the leading human rights organizations in the United States, on Friday applauded President Trump’s decision to target General Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy commander of the Iran-backed militias called the Popular Mobilization Forces, in an airstrike at Baghdad’s international airport.
The strike came after the Iranian government masterminded the siege at the U.S. embassy in Baghdad earlier this week. President Trump tweeted that “General Qassem Soleimani has killed or badly wounded thousands of Americans over an extended period of time, and was plotting to kill many more…but got caught! He was directly and indirectly responsible for the death of millions of people, including the recent large number of PROTESTERS killed in Iran itself. While Iran will never be able to properly admit it, Soleimani was both hated and feared within the country. They are not nearly as saddened as the leaders will let the outside world believe. He should have been taken out many years ago!”
AFDI President Pamela Geller said in a statement: “There is no doubt that Soleimani was a dangerous and determined enemy of the United States who had been targeting Americans for a considerable period. The President was wise to show the bloodthirsty Iranian mullahs a strong response to the Baghdad embassy siege; a weak response would only embolden them further.”
Geller added: “Americans can all be grateful today that Barack Obama is no longer in the White House. Instead of deterring Iran’s terrorist activities and moving boldly to end them definitively, as President Trump is doing, Obama enabled the mullahs by sending them billions of dollars and agreeing to a nuclear deal that allowed the Iranians to develop nuclear weapons with relative impunity. Obama empowered this genocidal and inhuman regime; Trump is working to end it. Accordingly, AFDI applauds this airstrike.”
The AFDI President also criticized the Democrats who are deploring Trump’s action, stating: “It is astonishing that Democrat Party leaders are actually claiming that Trump has made matters worse by targeting Soleimani. They are apparently unaware of or indifferent to the fact of Iran’s global jihadist adventurism. Their assumption that if we didn’t respond, Iran would leave us alone is a position of weakness and ignorance. The Democrat Party is now the party of impotent cowards and appeasers who don’t know how to fight a war.”
AFDI is dedicated to the defense and strengthening of the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, the equality of rights of all people before the law, and individual rights.

About that heinous Iranian jihad terror chief and his death, two things should be known .
First, this US drone airstrike which eliminated that brutal, violent and murderous Iranian terrorists commander , at the Baghdad airport, is thievery best way of sending those cruel ruthless jihad –minded rulers in power in the “mullah regime “ of Iran a message in the only language that they will understand. Which is a message sent with and by the power of strong military might.
As Thomas Jefferson had, so clearly, declared, “With every barbarous people …force is law.”
Second but in no way less important is the fact that there is no need nor there a reason to keyboard the name of the Iranian warlord general who was exterminated by a US military drone strike.
For the Bible informs its reader “The name of the wicked shall rot.” Proverbs 10:7. [K.J.V.]

Sounds like the Democrats want us to just take it, and not fight back.
Remember, it was Iranian forces who surrounded and broke into our Baghdad embassy. THEY ATTACKED US. Therefore, it was perfectly appropriate for President Trump to kill the one who was most responsible for the attack on our embassy.
As for us provoking a war, we can easily destroy the military resources of Iran, rendering them impotent. A few MOAB bombs dropped on some Iranian military facilities (e.g. those developing nuclear weapons) would be a good start. If they don’t quiet down, destroy another base, and another, and another, till Iran has no more military. What will Iran do then?

Right on, MOAB. The thought of it, makes me feel all warm and cuddly inside.

It is regrettable that Obama was unable to pull the trigger on Soleimani. So, too, unfortunately, British Foreign Secretary David Miliband (Labour) called off an SAS (British special forces) mission to assassinate Soleimani in 2007. Think of how many lives might have been saved or so much misery prevented if more decisive leaders had intervened.
Roland says
P.S., the Obama administration also prevented Israel from assassinating Soleimani five years ago.

But it’s become general knowledge now that Obama was/is a f**king muslim operative and pro-jihadist.
It’s caused me to wonder many times now, whether bin Laden is really dead, or is he actually living under a new identity somewhere in an Obama-sponsored safehouse?

Yes–I’ve heard that appalling story.

Obama gave Soleimani one of our drones, which Iran then reverse-engineered. Remember that?

The Iranian mullahs and their Iraqi Shi’ah proxies are such sore losers, protesting and yelling nasty things about the USA for not letting them get away with their attempted replay of the 1978-79 occupation of the US Embassy in Teheran. That a number of the Quds Force brass and an Iraqi collaborator got hit at the same time, with little collateral damage (if any) makes me catiously optimistic that US intelligence agencies are not going back to their real job of collecting info on America’s external enemies.
As for Rose McGowan, I sincerely hope she moves to Iran and tries to make feminists of the women there and engage in activism on behlalf of Iran’s sexual minorities.

Read Surah 9 of the Koran to see who wants war. It’s there for all with eyes to see and a brain to understand. Pay particular attention to verse 9:29. Make sure you understand the meaning of “fight,” “submission” and “Jizya.” Also make sure you understand that in chronological order this Surah was the next to last one “revealed” to Muhammad.

AFDI Applauds the Drone Strike That Killed Iranian Military Leader Qassem Soleimani
………………..
Hear, hear!
Infidel says
Having dealt Iran such a lethal blow, don’t push on for regime change, since the end result will not be a non-Muslim Iran. Also keep an eye on both Turkey and Saudi Arabia, both of which are vying for leadership of the ummah
Chand says
Regime change is exactly where this seems to be heading. Iran will respond somewhere and then another retaliatory strike by the US and then a full scale war possibly. They killed six Shia Imam Ali Brigades fighters again in another strike in Iraq yesterday.
Yes, war will create another fertile ground for more vicious jihadis, who always seek and thrive in chaos, lawlessness and civil strife.
Nice, just what the bloody doctor ordered!
Infidel says
Except that the US is several orders of magnitude more powerful than Iran, as long as they’re not stupid enough to send boots on the ground. Like Trump proved when the US drone was shot down over the Straits of Hormuz, he’s not hungry for war. Iran did several provocations until they killed an American and then surrounded the US embassy, and that’s when the US swung into action.
All that done, the US doesn’t need to do a thing in Iran. The regime, otoh, has its hands full, b/w trying to figure out whom to prioritize b/w the Houthis, Hizbullah and keeping their own people subdued. You know it’s ugly when they have to hike gas prices by 50% – strange given that there are virtually no other customers for their oil, given the sanctions
gravenimage says
Chand always suggests that we do nothing to defend ourselves Jihad, lest Jihadists wage wage more Jihad against us..
But the idea that craven appeasement of violence keeps us safe has been disproven over and over again–in recent history against Fascism and Jihad. Kowtowing to evil most often emboldens it.
