Breitbart reported on December 24, 2017 that “areas of Bradford, England, are No Go Zones for certain ethnic groups and the city is “heading toward disaster,” councillors have warned, citing attacks on a synagogue and white businesses in ‘Asian’ areas.”
That makes it highly likely that this man who was arrested was a jihadi, but the BBC report gives no hint of the motivating ideology behind this attack. And covering up jihadi motivations is standard journalistic practice. Can a war be won that way? No.
“Counter-terrorism police arrest man in Bradford,” BBC, January 24, 2020:
A man has been arrested after counter-terrorism officers raided three homes in Bradford.
An Army bomb disposal unit was called in for support after the “discovery of some items” at one of the properties, police said.
A number of neighbouring houses in Sutton Avenue were evacuated as officers carried out a search.
Police said a 38-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of explosives offences….

Ah, the Islamic Republic of Bradford. I spent about 18 months teaching in a school on the outskirts there back in the early 1970’s, when it was still a Yorkshire town. Then the rot set in. Bradford is the place where you can be awoken in the morning to the sweet sound of the Call to Prayer blasted out at God-knows-how-many-watts from some city centre mosque and echoing around the valley. I don’t know what happened to all the church bells, but there was talk of the Cathedral losing its status because the place isn’t Christian anymore. And if someone were to convert from islam to Christianity in that place, they don’t complain to the police when the criminal threats start because they’ll just be told to “stop behaving like a crusader”. Then they get their kneecaps shot even after they’ve been moved out of the town ‘for their own safety. And all the genuine Yorkshire local families who’ve there since the Industrial Revolution and before want to escape the place but often can’t because the bottom has dropped out of the property market (for some strange reason) and they can’t sell their houses for enough to buy in an area that’s still civilised – for the time being. Brilliant stuff, this ‘cultural enrichment’!

Thanks for that account, Jayell. Bradford Cathedral is lovely, and the first church on that site predates the Norman invasion.
It seems to be hanging on at this point–but just barely–mostly as a venue for choral music.

BBC says “man” arrested after counterterror police raid homes in heavily Muslim area, bomb disposal unit called in
……………..
Gee–might this have had anything to do with Islam?
Jaladhi says
Or who could be living among Muslims?? Oh, that’s a tough question for BBC!! Ha, ha,.
FYI says
But what KIND of “man” are they talking about:is it one of those mysterious “Asians”?
Imagine if it was a transgender person, the Britainistani police would be accused of being “transphobic” for arresting what they said was a “man”.
Imagine if it was a muslim terrorist, the Britainistani police would be accused of being “islamophobic” for arresting what they said was a “jihadist”…..

To Jayell and Gravenimage,
Can you please remember that the city of Bradford no longer exits.
Its correct name,.. as I’m sure you are aware, is Bradfordistan 😉
Jaydam says
And the irony is, that if there was a referendum in this once proud Yorkshire city,.. on whether the city should now be called Bradfordistan, I guarantee that the result would be around 90% in favour of this. Whats the betting on the U.K being known as the United Kingdomistan within the next 100 years. It does’nt bear thinking about does it.
Sons of Liberty says
Unfortunately , that is where the UK is headed because of demographics . The most common birth name for boys is Muhammad .
Jayell says
“The most common birth name for boys is Muhammad”……….
Now here’s a funny thing. When the UK press run stories about the most popular boy babies’ names in the UK, it’s always ‘James’, ‘William’ or ‘George’, or something like that. NEVER ‘Mohammed’. I wonder if there’s something wrong with their information sources? Or could it be that they’re deliberately covering this one up, just like all those rape-gang victims that we never got to hear about until they couldn’t sit on the information any longer? I wonder what a trawl through the Register of Births in Bradfordistan would show?
PS Thanks, Jaydam. for tip. I was up in Bradfordistan (Shelf area) for a funeral about 7 months ago. I took the precaution of going round the motorways and avoiding going anywhere near the city centre because I’d forgotten to take my passport.

no, a war cannot be won that way … by the side being deluded. OTOH, the side that is knowingly fighting the war – the one whose actions are being obfuscated – *can* win the war, specifically because its actions are being hidden from view. this tells us that the ones doing the hiding are either *severely* maleducated, or that they are actually traitors working for the ummah. either way, we lose.
