Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Cameroon: Bishop says “not a day passes without attacks” by Muslims against Christians

Jan 29, 2020 8:00 am By Robert Spencer

Bishop Bruno Ateba better be careful. He is a Catholic bishop, and Pope Francis has made it very clear that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.” The Catholic hierarchy ruthlessly moves to silence those who dare to state otherwise. Bruno Ateba could soon find himself out of a job.

“Cameroon – New frontier for Boko Haram attacks,” by John Newton and Maria Lozano, Independent Catholic News, January 24, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

An upsurge of Boko Haram attacks in Cameroon since the start of 2020 has caused terror among local inhabitants – according to a bishop in the country.

Bishop Bruno Ateba of Maroua-Mokolo, northern Cameroon, told Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) that 13 attacks over the last fortnight were the work of the extremist group.

Bishop Ateba said: “Not a day passes without attacks on the villages on Cameroon’s frontier with Nigeria.”

He added: “Boko Haram is like the beast of the Apocalypse, or a many-headed Hydra – whenever you cut off one of its heads, it seems simply to grow another. Just at the moment when people thought that the beast of Boko Haram had been completely decapitated, the horror has resurfaced in northern Cameroon. Within my own diocese there have been 13 attacks in the last weeks.”

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has claimed that, since he took office in 2015, Boko Haram’s terror activities have been “curbed” but the Islamist militants continue to carry out atrocities in rural districts as well as in neighbouring Cameroon and Chad.

A number of attacks on Christians took place over the Christmas period – including the Christmas Day murder of 11 Nigerians by the Boko Haram faction Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).

The Islamist militia is also suspected of torching a church in Cameroon on the feast of the Epiphany.

Bishop Ateba said: “We are still investigating who was behind the incident, but everything points to the fact that it was a terrorist attack.”…

Firstly, the claim that the Catholic Church supported the Holocaust is quote false–in fact, the Catholic Church *saved* more Jews than any other body:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rescue_of_Jews_by_Catholics_during_the_Holocaust

In any case. The idea that Christians in West Africa are murdering European Jews seventy-five years after the Holocaust makes no sense at all.

Then, it seems that this poster is fine with Muslims slaughtering Christians in Cameroon–half of which are not Catholic. Just appalling.

It seems that Pope Francis doesn’t hold Muslims to the same high standard as Christians. This would be the bigotry of low expectations … namely, Francis is implying that Muslims aren’t sophisticated or advanced enough to behave in a civilized way towards Christians. We shouldn’t hold them accountable when they daily use violence to attack and murder Christians.

Whatever unscholarly and Pollyannish theories Pope Francis may have about Islamic teaching, he cannot deny that dozens of Christians are being murdered by Muslims every day of the year.

This is surely a genuine ‘religious persecution’ by any definition … even the lax, non-stringent definition of Pope Francis that he applies to the persecuting Muslims. Only Christians should not persecute or discriminate … Pope Francis does not mention the persecutions committed by Muslims against Christians and implies that Christians deserve it.

    https://clarionproject.org/100000-christians-being-killed-faith-yearly-16/

Close to 100,000 Christians are being killed every year because of their faith, according to statistics from a Pew Research Survey and the International Society for Human Rights, a non-religious organization.

These figures, which represent an “unprecedented,” number of death per year amount to 273 Christian killed daily, or 11 every hour, said Bishop John McAreavey, chairman of the Council for Justice and Peace.

McAreavey, speaking to the Irish parliament on behalf of the Irish Catholic Bishop’s Conference, said, “Eighty percent of all acts of religious discrimination in the world today are directed against Christians.”

Sounds like these Christians need protection their own military/and weapon training or underground safe tunnels or rooms until Isis pass thru. Storage for food, water, and medical supplies or warning systems. This can’t go on with more and more Christian being killed. Who is keeping the Pope in the dark, he never sees a photo? Is he determined to stand back while they slay infidels.? Instead of the U.S. training Islamic terrorist, maybe they could train Christian communities. The results may be better. Are they so outnumbered?

Cameroon is in fact Christian-majority–but the chaotic government there is doing little to protect them.

Pope isn’t in the dark, he knows full well what killings, murders, rapes and executions are being done by Muslims. He pterends to care, but lives in his own pathetic dream world. He is the major reason so many intelligent people have walked away from the Catholic Church. He is a hateful person.

This Pope may be the first in history to go down as traitor to human life.

Hey first worlders, quit worrying about the Pope and demand that your government recognise the humanity of these innocent victims. Stalin famously asked: How many divisions has the Pope? So how many divisions are we deploying to protect these human beings? As a citizen, petition the lord of your divisions for a redress of grievances happening to people far away.

This is the ONLY place I have found reports on Muslims attacking/murdering Christians/non-Muslims. Seems rather odd that the BBC/other Western Broadcast/News Services deem these events as, “Not newsworthy.”

2 other sources are getting better all the time:

      lifesitenews.com
Church Militant is doing great work policing The Church…Francis is increasingly proving to be a Judas, quite possibly in place as the 1 who brings about the Prophecied Schism…he seems to bring us closer by the week!
He’s the 1st “pope” in over 500yrs formally charged with Heresy, repeated, multiple Heresies!
Blessedly, Christ promised “The Gates of Hades shall not prevail” against The Church…thus, neither Francis nor Islam shall prevail!

God bless Bishop Ateba for speaking the truth. There are many of us who have recognized the murders of Christians around the world by Islam and have long wondered when the Christian leadership would begin to speak out about the atrocities.

Catholics should no longer give the Catholic Church any more financial assistance. Obviously, this pope is out to destroy the Catholic Church piece by piece. If he read the koran honestly he would not be talking the way he is. down with the vatican
