What do you think the chances are that Kazerooni is teaching his congregation to be loyal, productive citizens of the United States? What do you think the chances are that this mosque is being investigated? Right: zero on both counts.
“Dearborn, MI Imam Ibrahim Kazerooni Eulogizes Qasem Soleimani: He Brought Hope to the Marginalized and Fear to the Enemies of Islam,” MEMRI, January 3, 2020:
Iraqi-American Sheikh Ibrahim Kazerooni of the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, Michigan, said in a Friday, January 3, 2020 sermon that America’s killing of IRGC General Qasem Soleimani and PMU Deputy Chairman Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis earlier that day had been a “cowardly and heinous act” and that the only countries celebrating his death are the United States, Israel, and Saudi Arabia. He led a prayer for the souls of Soleimani and Al-Muhandis and told the congregation that Soleimani had “brought hope to the marginalized [and] hatred and fear to the enemies of Islam.” He explained that Soleimani had been instrumental in keeping the Syrian regime in power despite American and Zionist attempts to destabilize it, in defending Iraq against ISIS alongside the PMU, and in ultimately defeating ISIS in Iraq, which Sheikh Kazerooni described as the “extended arm of American foreign policy.” He cited several examples from Islamic literature that speak of martyrdom as a virtuous act and added: “Let’s wait and see what happens next.”
Ibrahim Kazerooni: “The cowardly and heinous act of assassinating General Qasem Soleimani changed the plot [of my original sermon] and I would be doing a disservice if I did not address that issue first.

“Please join me in reciting the Al-Fatiha verse for the soul [of a deceased congregant] and the soul of the late General Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, who were assassinated together. ‘In the name of Allah the Merciful and Compassionate…’

“Who was this general? His presence brought hope to the marginalized and to those who were afraid, and it brought hatred and fear to the enemies of Islam – particularly the United States.
[…]
“He was instrumental in keeping the government in Syria intact against all attempts and the billions of dollars that were spent on arms and guidance that were given by the United States, Zionists, and everybody else [in order] to destabilize and turn Syria into a dysfunctional state. Particularly, his importance was felt in the war in 2014 and 2015 against ISIS in Iraq – in Mosul – where ISIS became an extended arm of American foreign policy to destabilize the region and to fracture Iraq. And he, with a team of his own advisors and supporters, worked with the PMU to defend Iraq against ISIS and everything else. They succeeded.
[…]
“The three countries that primarily were celebrating his absence are the United States, the Israeli government, and the government of Saudi Arabia.

“Only God knows what is going to happen next, but let me remind the Americans [and] Europeans that the one who laughs last, laughs the most.

“These people are not afraid of death. For them, martyrdom is a lofty idea that they chase. Just listen to his wife, and the comment that she made this morning. She borrowed the phrase from Zaynab and said: ‘This meager offering, accept it from us.’ [She said] ‘Blessed be your soul – you were chasing death and martyrdom in the mountains, valleys, and plains, and look ultimately where it came to you – in the middle of Baghdad. Remember me on the Day of Judgement.’ These people are not afraid of death. The panic is on the other side. Immediately, we have to send Hercules airplanes to evacuate everything, shut down the embassy, and give a warning here and there to all the [U.S.] citizens to get out. [Ali Ibn Abi Talib said:] ‘Are you threatening me with death, oh son of a freed slave? Death is inevitable, and martyrdom is an honor for us from Allah.’
[…]
“The verse is clear: ‘There are two good alternatives for us, and two equally bad and cursed alternatives for you. For us, there is either martyrdom or victory. For you, [there is either] punishment from Allah or defeat in our hands.’ Let’s wait and see what happens next.”

Maybe the cleric is too stupid to realize that he can spout his opinion here without censorship in this great country.
In his home country he would have to watch his mouth!

Fifth columnists probably account for 15% of all Muslims in America … that would be about 200,000 … not a small number. But they are mere sympathizers. The true jihadists in the US are less than 1% … around 5,000. Still, 5,000 can do a lot of damage if they are organized.
What is the source of their unending hatred? It is an ‘essential’ Islamic teaching called ‘Al Walaa wal Baraa’.
If you don’t understand W-B perfectly, then you cannot say you understand the motivation of Islam.

Robert, would the secret service be aware of this south Michigans imams’ martyr choice statement ? Wisconsin news announced there will be protesters at the Trump rally… the building is nearly parallel to the stadium with a game the same night, and rented building coincidently has a black panther emblem across the side, which brings back to mind the symbol of a radical political group from the 60’s and this state seems to foster this growth of Islam..as peaceful,.. welcoming leftists, prefers speech restrictions and may have evolved to be a sanctuary city, at the same time it seems there is growing violent crimes in the news. ….unusual mulitply accidents, trains wreaks, etcs signs of problems that are way beyond normal.

INVESTIGATE HIM. INVESTIGATE HIS ASSOCIATES. INVESTIGATE EVERYONE IN THE MOSQUE.
Imam Ibrahim Kazerooni approves of the totalitarian methods of the mullahocracy of Iran and reveals his ideation is incompatible with the principles of freedom and equality in the US constitution.
This Islamic leader and expert is openly implying that Islam is incompatible with American political principles.
Kazerooni is a self-declared fifth columnist.

Treason. Why is this blatant enemy of our country and what’s left of the civilized world tolerated and allowed to stay here and keep his citizenship? I ask this rhetorically, of course…but it’s doubtful that any action will be taken other, perhaps, to land him on a Watch List, if even that, which is little more than a joke. And how many of the congregants, including those who set up, recorded, broadcast and uploaded this khutba, agree with what Kazerooni is saying?
Note also the usual boilerplate about Muslims having no fear of death. Kazerooni failed to mention that the news videos taken at Soleimeini’s funeral showed mass grieving and weeping, Khameini blubbering along with the rest of them. If death is to be celebrated, why was the Iranian response to the taking out of Soleimeini intentionally ineffectual, an advance warning given to ensure Americans would have enough time to get out of harm’s way, as the mullahs surely knew that if any American casualties resulted, the U.S. would have retaliated forcefully. What contemptible clowns and cowards these mullahs have shown themselves to be.
CogitoErgoSum says
If you seek death and martyrdom why blame those who give you what you want? If you bring hatred and fear to people do not be surprised when they give it back to you. The greatest achievement in Islam is to die a martyr. The lesson that teaches is that life is meaningless without killing and being killed. And so the killing goes on with fools like this cleric feeling sorry for himself and encouraging others to do the same. This is always looking on the dark side of life. This is absurdity.

Forever War? What an illustration. So, leaving the ME, by the USA will end the USA involvement in Forever War? It would seem on the surface of the debate, that Forever War has found another dar al harb. Forever War is religiously taught to all saracens as part of their heritage. Must we, in the West, try to fool ourselves about Forever War. Jihad = the means to continued Forever War. islam teaches jihad, to further Forever War. Jihadi’s are the instrument for jihad (Forever War). Therefore, where ever there is islam, there is jihad, which means there are jihadis, which means there is Forever War. Why is the learning curve so broken? Except here at JW and other similar locations, the learning curve does not exist.

Iraqi Shi’a lived like slaves under the Sunni minority regime of Saddam. When America liberated the Shi’a, it mean to bring all religious groups to live together in equality, freedom and justice for all.
America’s intent was not meant to establish the dominance of one religious group over another.
In contrast to the wishes of Iran’s Mullahs,
On whose path, Soleimani murdered many American soldiers.
That Shi’a cleric who is supportive of Soleimani
has not one iota of American in Him.
His citizenship must be renounced and he must be expelled back to Iraq- or Iran.
Anything less is plain stupid!

Actually the one who engaged in cowardly and heinously violent and brutal actions was Soleimani .For ordering his jihadists stooges commit murderous jihad attacks from afar.
Soleimani was a very vicious and dangerous man. Therefore it was necessary that he was eliminated.

Islam is not a religion.
In the churches a prayer is requested for all the victims without politicizing. In the mosques people talk about politics and also pray … but only for Muslims and hating the infidels. Islamic communities and associations are political lobbies, fifth columnists.
