More interference by Democratic leaders in Trump’s execution of his duty to protect America. The Dems were just about to introduce a resolution “to limit President Donald Trump’s ability to lead the military into conflict with Iran,” but suddenly pulled back after the Iranian rocket attacks.
Pelosi informed fellow House Democrats on Sunday about the planned legislation:
Pelosi’s letter begins with the declaration that President Donald Trump’s airstrike last week targeting Iranian General Qasem Suleimani, leader of the terrorist Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IGRC) Quds Force, responsible for the murders of hundreds of Americans and for recent attacks on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, was “provocative and disproportionate,” terms suggesting the attack was illegal under international law and could constitute a war crime.”
The Democrats have consistently undermined democracy by their full rejection of a duly elected President. Hillary Clinton laid the foundation when she insulted Trump’s supporters as “a basket of deplorables” during her presidential campaign in September 2016. That same disdain for Trump and Americans who support him continues. To merely wear a “Make America Great Again (MAGA)” hat has become taboo.
The American strike on Iran that killed Qassem Soleimani prevented another Benghazi attack — no thanks to Hillary Clinton due her own “deplorable” recklessness as Secretary of State. She then had the audacity to blame the attack on a YouTube video mocking Muhammad, and subsequently even denied making such statements later on.
The Democratic mission has been marked not only by its undermining of democracy, but also of American safety and interests. Add to that the Dems’ strategy of appeasement, facilitation of the jihad through the Iran deal, and alliances with the Muslim Brotherhood.
In keeping with the above, it is no surprise that the Democrats will continue to dig for ways to undermine Trump during a critical operation to limit the threat of the Iranian regime. A regime that has made no secrets of its ultimate goal of world dominion and which includes routine chants of “death to America,” and “death to Israel.” But when Iran attacked the US following announcement of Soleimani’s death, the malicious Democrats scrambled to delay the resolution, no doubt only temporarily.

Democrats have reportedly delayed the introduction of a resolution to limit President Donald Trump’s ability to lead the military into conflict with Iran — after Iranian missiles struck bases housing U.S. troops in Iraq Tuesday evening.
As Breitbart News reported, Pelosi informed fellow House Democrats on Sunday about the planned legislation:

The letter goes on to describe a new resolution that would “limit the President’s military actions regarding Iran,” essentially signaling a surrender in the potential conflict before the Iranian regime itself had managed to respond.
Pelosi adds that the resolution “reasserts Congress’s long-established oversight responsibilities by mandating that if no further Congressional action is taken, the Administration’s military hostilities with regard to Iran cease within 30 days.” Under current law, the War Powers Act of 1973 limits the time that a president can lead a military effort, without formal authorization, to 60 days following a required presidential report to Congress when hostilities begin.
Politico reported Tuesday evening, however, that Iran’ attack had “scramble[d]” Democrats’ plans for the vote:
