She was asked, “Do you support the protestors?” Her response was to go into a befuddled explanation about why people in Iran were protesting. She never said whether she supported the protestors or not. This lady suffers from serious brain fog.

tim gallagher says
In one way, it would be wonderful to see the vile, totally inhuman mullahs, who have ruled Iran in such a bullying way, get their comeuppance, but I do wonder whether what would come next would be any better than those scumbags are. I always worry that the chaos in any of these Muslim countries will just mean huge numbers of invading “refugees” piling into Europe and every other western nation. That’s always a disaster for our countries. And our western countries are always too nice to shut these Muslim invaders (oh, sorry, that should be “refugees”) out in the sensible way Hungary and the other wise Visegrad countries do. I just wish the Muslims would keep their chaotic garbage in their Muslim paradise countries. They have nothing to offer the non-Muslim world but misery.
gravenimage says
Yes–I am concerned about this as well, Tim.
tim gallagher says
gravenimage, I was thinking that I should say that I do get that some Muslims are OK, despite the content of Islam (it’s almost miraculous that some are no too bad), and so some might be reasonable migrants to our countries, but, overall, Muslim immigration and the acceptance of Muslim “refugee” invaders is a disaster for our societies. That’s why I always think, if, say, Iran or any other Muslim country falls into chaos, then, watch out, here come more of the Muslim invading “refugees”. We have to keep them and their totally incompatible values out.
gravenimage says
Agreed, Tim.
Anjuli Pandavar says
TG, “and so some [Muslims] might be reasonable migrants to our countries”

This is a mistake. Every single Muslim in a non-Muslim country is a motivation for the OIC to control the government of that country, to undermine the values of that country, to erode the culture of that country, to destroy security apparatus of that country, and to impose Shari’a on the non-Muslim population of that country. The OIC, through the Muslim migrants in Western countries, no matter how “peaceful’ or “extremist” those Muslims may be, claims jurisdiction over those Muslims, and through that, leverage over those countries.
Through the EU, the UN and even NATO, the OIC gives practical effect to that jurisdiction, thereby making the Western Muslim ghettos into a province of the OIC. In the US, it outsources its strategic objectives to the Muslim Brotherhood with its innumerable tendrils. Even though the OIC’s priorities are the recapture of territories once ruled by Muslims (failed jihad rekindled), such as Israel, Armenia, Kashmir, Cyprus and Spain, EVERY Muslim, EVERY mosque, EVERY Islamic centre poses a serious danger to any non-Muslim country hosting them. I’m not sure even Donald Trump appreciates the real danger of Turkey’s presence in NATO. See what they’ve already accomplished through NATO’s Danish Secretary General.
Since jihad is an unstoppable force, Western society will have to be an immovable object. In other words, jihad must obliterate itself on impact. That means Western societies must make it simply impossible for Muslims to enter and impossible for those already within to remain. Either they leave Islam or they leave the West — there is no other way. We are able and *must be willing* to assist them either way, and reserve the right to interpret “assist” in any way we see fit.
Infidel says
Tim
As the Trump administration has argued (on the question of Central American refugees), if one is really a refugee, one is supposed to stop at the first safe country that one can get to. For Hondurans, it’s Guatemala, and for Guatemalans, it’s Mexico. It’s like if one is in an emergency and being taken by an ambulance, the ambulance drives one to the nearest hospital, not the most reputed one 15 miles across town. So those who do make the long trek are economic migrants, and nobody has ever agreed that that’s a legitimate criteria for emigrating.
I never got why Syrian or Libyan refugees had to go to Europe, to totally alien environments. Libyans who were fleeing the civil war could easily have gone to Algeria, Chad or Egypt. Syrians fleeing the war could have gone to Jordan (many did), Saudi Arabia or Turkey. Similarly, if Iran descends into total chaos, Iranians can go to Iraq, Azerbaijan or Tajikistan. There is no reason they need to be taken into non-Farsi speaking countries like the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, et al
tim gallagher says
I agree with the points you make, Anjuli and Infidel. Generally, I think Muslims, or Islam, this hate-filled ideology, should be shut out of all non-Muslim countries altogether. Anjuli, I have, over many years, met a handful of Muslims that I thought were pretty decent people (despite the revolting content of Islam, which is why it seems like a miracle to me when they seem to turn out OK.) I sometimes think that, well, maybe I’m a bit too tough. What I said about a few Muslims being OK citizens was actually because I did come across a Muslim woman at my local supermarket a few days ago, (seemed just very friendly and pleasant to everyone around her) so maybe that’s why I thought that I should water down my usual tough line towards all of islam and Muslims. I suppose that her pleasant manner was still on my mind. But, then again, I can’t say that I have ever got to know any of the Muslims that I thought seemed OK very well. I do distrust them all. And, Anjuli, I do agree with your point that we do need to be an immovable object and just blanket ban Muslims. They are always trouble out of all proportion compared to all other groups of migrants. Infidel, what you are saying about these bullshit “refugees” is right. This is discussed a lot in Australia because we get all these Muslims from the Middle East who go all the way to Muslim Indonesia and then come across to Australia (plenty of welfare, etc, just like Europe). People rightly say, they should have gone to the nearest country (preferably Muslim) if they really were refugees. It’s an invasion and they want to get to countries where they can bludge on the welfare system, such as Australia or European countries. Also, no doubt, because it’s basic Islam, they want to impose barbaric Islam on all of us.

May Our Lord Bless & Protect you, & may our American Leadership stand by you, instead of funding that Reign of Terror that’s been over you far too long, as our Closet-Muslim “President” Obama despicably did!

CogitoErgoSum says
It’s good to see that they want to get rid of the mullahs but if they don’t get rid of Islam also they are just living on false hope. Any future government which includes even a trace of Islam within it will come back and crush their spirits as much or worse than before. I doubt most of them will believe that to be true though. (I’m thinking of Turkey).
Infidel says
Don’t even have to think of Turkey, look at Iran itself. Under the Pahlevis, they were a pretty moderate, modern country, and then in 1979, after the revolution, they competed w/ the Safavids in terms of being the most zealous of shi’a theocrats.
The fact that the Arab Shi’a resent Iran despite being bankrolled and supported by Teheran should inspire the Iranians to recognize that shi’a islam too is an Arab, not an Iranian religion. In other words, going forward, if the nationality of their religion is important to them, they should revert to Zoroastrianism, like their Sassanid ancestors. And if not, they should explore the other religions that have had homes in Iran at various periods – Christianity, Judaism and Buddhism. (I won’t root for Atheism or Agnosticism, since those are unstable equilibrium beliefs that tend to get supplanted at old age by religion, and if it’s not one of the others, it could well become islam again)
CogitoErgoSum says
Yes, they need to be sure to build a strong separation between mosque, church, temple (or whatever religion) and state … something I see as impossible to do with Islam.

Ya, and a brutal, corrupt dictatorship with a hedonistic royalty unconcerned about the plight of the masses. Natural conditions for resentment, revolution and rebellion, Islamic or Communist. They fought against each other and the Islamists brutally defeated the Reds and won.

Even so, agnosticism and atheism would be better choices as converting to other religions would only be supplanting one set of untruths, unproven truths and half-truths with another.
CogitoErgoSum says
They should be able to explore other religions but their government should not be in the business of favoring any one religion over another. Freedom of religion is important but freedom to discuss religion in order to decide which comes nearest to the truth is just as important.
Infidel says
Chand
Sure, the Pahlevis had their shortcomings. But the underlying problem remained that Iranians were Muslims. So come the revolution, they turned to Shi’a theocrats for their answers, and were plunged in 8 years of war w/ Iraq, accompanied by 40 years of sponsorship of Shi’a jihad throughout the Middle East. As well as anti Israeli activity elsewhere.
On the Atheism issue, many people don’t remain Atheists their whole lives: towards the end, they trend towards religion, more often than not the religion of their family heritage. I’ve seen that even in erstwhile Communists. You may well view them as replacing one set of lies w/ another, but the other ‘set of lies’ doesn’t call for the annihilation of those who either don’t believe in that ‘set of lies’ or believe in other ‘sets of lies’ The Soviets tried that for 70 years, and today, Russia is busy rediscovering its Eastern Orthodox roots, while islam is making a comeback in the Turkestani countries south of them

Chand’s implication that Communism and Islam are all about setting up justice for the masses is, of course, *quite* false.
Also false is his implication that all religions are as bad as Islam. What rot.

It is Monday, 13/Jan 2020. Just over the past weekend a female Iranian Athlete, (Olympic Bronze Medallist in Tae Kwon Do in Rio, 2016), announced her “Defection” from Iran. She is sick of the “lies, deceit, hypocrisy & flattery”, of this regime. This pretty well sums up Islam as a whole. On youtube.com I saw various clips of their former “Glorious Leader”, Ayatollah Khomeini. One of his quotes was, ” You can have Human Rights or Islam, not Both.” Sums Islam up in a brief succinct sentence really. Also there is the matter of his sexual assault on a 3-4year old girl in her own home as he stopped off on an unscheduled overnight visit. This is Islam & people WANT, nay demand, we accommodate this filth & its adherents.
