How dare the Israelis move to stop the funding of those who wish to murder them!
“Hamas Infuriated After Israel Seizes Terrorist Salaries,” by David Sidman, Breaking Israel News, January 2, 2020:
Hazim Kasim, a spokesman for Hamas, railed against Israel’s Defense Minister Naftali Bennett’s recent decision to seize funds from 32 families of Israeli-Arab terrorists, Arutz 7 reported.
According to the report, Kasim claimed that the decision was a “continuation of the Zionist battle against the prisoners,” and said that Bennet’s [sic] decision amounted to “robbery”. He also called on the Palestinian Authority not to surrender to this “Zionist move”.
Bennett signed orders to seize the funds on Wednesday which went into effect immediately.
“These families received money from the Palestinian Authority for years as payment the terrorist attacks perpetrated by those terrorists. The murder of Jews will no longer be lucrative,” the Defense Minister added.
Last week, Bennett authorized the seizure of hundreds of thousands of shekels in payment to jailed terrorists and their families, in an unprecedented administrative order.
The decision was made just weeks after Bennett vowed to increase economic sanctions against terrorists. The recent move will block salaries that were being paid by the PA to Arab terrorists with Israeli citizenship….

BREAKING NEWS !! Muslimes Enraged. Rare to see.
They wake up enraged, living a life of submission to foolishness would enrage anyone.
Freedom, just give it a shot (all pun intended).
mortimer says
Adam, you have not studied Islam, so study it now. Muslims hate kafirs because it is canonical Islam to do so. That is a sufficient reason for the hate. Allah hates kafirs and commands Muslims to hate them too. This teaching is called ‘Al Walaa wal Baraa’. You will never understand the Islamic mind without actually making the effort to learn and master this doctrine.
Vasile Lupu says
Facts are not sufficient to understand the islamic mind ? Shall we all start learning islamic books ? What if some of us end-up to like that type of ideology ?
Frank Anderson says
V.L. you ask a good and honest question. Yes some will find what they read attractive. Those who do were lost and criminally bent before they read the first word. They would join the 1400 year old criminal conspiracy whether they read books or not. Not one person is reported in muslim literature that I have read (about 30 books) to have joined the conquest after reading about it.
The problem and opportunity that is needed to be exploited soon, and now, is that so many people don’t know what they don’t know, and don’t care that they don’t know. By the time they find out they will be on their way to having their throats cut. The many uniformed and undecided are in a state of denial. While it is still possible, and arguably not too late, that denial needs to be removed.
gravenimage says
Mortimer, why do you assume that someone who notes that Muslims are perpetually enraged understands nothing about Islam?
elee says
Being Muslim means not having opinions of ones own. As some recent politiician so famously misstated……a mind is a terrible thing to lose. So……IMHO and all……..yes, I believe mortimer is way over-optimistic as is anyone who expects Muslims to suddenly cherish free thinking……but how wonderful it would be if hes right! Consider, though, that the North Koreans havent mustered any opposition in a lifetime………and Muslim brainwashing is a millennium and a half ahead of anything however savage that the NoKos have invented. We could try prohibiting Muslim child-raising in America, which would be humane and politic………dont hold your breath. s. f
Frank Anderson says
US law is certainly different from Israeli law. There may be similarities worth considering. Under US law, anyone who “aids, abets, counsels or acts in furtherance” of a federal felony is equally guilty of the crime. 18 United States Code Section 2. Paying families for a member’s commission of a murder or assault (also a violation of federal civil rights) should result in the criminal treatment of the party (person or entity) making the payment a co-conspirator equally guilty of the underlying crime under US law. I defer to Israeli lawyers and courts to tell us what Israel’s law provides.
Please consult a currently licensed attorney practicing in your jurisdiction for any legal advice.
mortimer says
Paying the family of a terrorist for slaying civilians would be called a ‘kickback’, would it not? It is certainly a kind of insurance policy for terrorists that kicks in as soon as they die.
Frank Anderson says
Mortimer, again expressing my respect in spite of disagreements in some details, my opinion is that under US law, which is probably similar to Israeli law, any direct or indirect payment or benefit to a person or family as the result of the commission of a crime is a violation of the law. The only exception would be hiring a defense team to provide such a defense as may be available.
Paying benefits to a dead terrorist’s family is not within what I see as an exception. This is a criminal act in itself. The person (human or entity, natural or legal) who makes it, AND the person(s) who handle or facilitate the criminal conduct are equally guilty of the underlying crime UNDER US law, which may or may not be reflected in Israeli law. As always, find a prosecutor who will handle the case and an Attorney General who will approve it.
elee says
FA, not to give legaal advice but I think youve stated the principle perfectly. Now, consider the number of (domestic or foreign) Muslims aid and abet these criminal murders. It is a purely discretionary decision, whether to prosecute them or not. So let your local prosecutor know your views on who gets charged with crimes and who gets let off.
Frank Anderson says
elee, we agree that a crime is present that should be prosecuted if it happened under US law. There is now a movement funded in large part by George Soros to install prosecutors who will refuse to enforce the law. Complaints should be made on a regular basis when those prosecutors fail their duties. Remember Mike Nifong, who failed his duty, was removed from office, disbarred, sued, lost, bankrupted, denied discharge of his judgments, criminally prosecuted and convicted. That is what should happen again anytime discretion is abused.
Beverly says
Money talks and bullshit walks. Stop the money, stop the bullshit.
It takes time and effort to be a terrorist, if you have to work to support your family chances are you’re not going to devote a lot of time to terrorism.
PRCS says
Will any of this be enough to shame Abbas into selling his private jet?
Frank Anderson says
PRCS, In more than 10 years of reading and paying attention I have never seen where a muslim would be embarrassed by anything. Have I missed something?
Savvy Kafir says
Yeah. Embarrassment just doesn’t seem to be a thing with Muslims. Nor the ability to be self-critical.
James Lincoln says
No, Frank, you haven’t missed anything.
It’s very likely impossible for a “true” muslim to feel embarrassment. After all, no matter what, muslims are “always the victim”…
Frank Anderson says
J.L., thank you. My understanding is that sociopaths, those who have no sense of legal, moral or ethical limitation or duty, comprise about 1 in 30 in “normal” US society. But I infer from my reading that to be muslim is also to be sociopathic by our kafir standards.
elee says
K 33:37 and K 81:30, folks. Oh but yes there are so many things that embarrass Muslims to the point of criminal homicide. Like say having a daughter who bares her face to the world or wants to choose her own companions, or a school that lets blind students use guide dogs.
Frank Anderson says
elee, consider the alternative that instead of being embarrassed, they are enraged by the defiance. Same result but I think a clearer statement of their motive.
gravenimage says
Muslims are only embarrassed–shamed, really–if their female relatives dare to marry for love.
Frank Anderson says
Honored GI, I still wonder whether that response is what we could consider embarrassment or shame, or whether it is one of rage for defiance? Having worked with many professionals, and not being qualified as a professional in psychology, all I can do is identify a question and pass it to those who should be heard. Of course, being a lawyer who depends on listening carefully to prospective clients and especially opponents for warning signs, I am at least an amateur counsellor. I genuinely doubt from all I have read that a muslim is capable of shame.
The first prayer said at many Jewish services is the Candle Blessing, which includes the phrase, “Keep us far from all shame, grief and anguish. . .” I have seen nothing here or read in any of the books where there is any concept of shame in islam. Still wondering if I have missed something. Always with respect.
gravenimage says
Hi Frank. I also realize that guilt is quite different from shame–guilt is a personal feeling of wrongdoing, and holds whether one is ever discovered in one’s wrong or not. Even though “shame” and “guilt” are often used interchangeably, shame is generally much more external.
Muslims almost never feel badly for their own evils–but if someone else does not live up to the demands of Islam they have to be punished.
https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/shame/201305/the-difference-between-guilt-and-shame
I think that the concept of “shame” in Islam is almost entirely externally focused–that is, on the behavior of others.
Even though guilt can be quite painful, it can also provide a real learning experience that can lead to one improving one’s actions in the future–shame is generally much less potentially positive.
The West has been described as a “guilt” culture, along with Judaism and Christianity–one where individuals can review their behavior and decide on correctives. This is how we have made strides away from such things as slavery and wife beating.
http://rabbisacks.org/difference-shame-guilt-cultures-thought-day/
As a “shame” culture, Islam has been unable to make any such strides.
The above is all a bit black and white, but I think it generally holds true.
I’d like to know what you think.
Frank Anderson says
GI, I have a PhD in guilt, shame and disappointment. I have tried to turn what I have learned to help others, thereby reducing its impact on me. I have seen so much in my family and clients, that the insights I have gained from all the experience helps get forward movement away from the endless treadmill many people suffer. When I was destroyed for obeying the law, my response was to do some original and possibly groundbreaking research and put on my “big boy” shoes and take the bad guys to court. I did everything that was in my power to teach bad people to be better and to show good people how to avoid mistakes I have made. That can be a positive benefit of shame and guilt. In the absence of guilt and shame, none of the good things would have happened. Islam has no sense of guilt that I can see from ALL the sources I have encountered.
Guilt demands an awareness of right and wrong. That to me is why Devil Worship is logically impossible, good cannot become evil, and evil cannot become good, because once the concept of good is admitted, evil must obviously be taken for what it is, evil. Islam manages to teach every form of what we consider evil as good. I am afraid that expecting it to collapse just because some of its nominal adherents question the contradiction is as much a delusion as any Viktor Frankl described in the death camps. .
Giacomo Latta says
The koran determines the mindset of all muslims. Slavery is kosher, sorry, halal. Muslim men have the right to treat their wives like sheep they might own. From there it is a small step to determine to sell off your 3-month-old daughter to a future marriage or kill her and her lover should she declare herself a free human being rather than her father’s chattel. So don’t be shocked by any other depravity.
gravenimage says
Agreed, Frank. Sorry again that you have had such tough times; but you have a lot to be proud of over how you have handled them.
Frank Anderson says
GI, I have had some really demanding challenges. They pale when compared to what others endured, many of whom did not survive. Those who do survive can help others avoid repeating the lessons. All I have to do to put my misery in perspective is to remember Viktor Frankl. Mine is small potatoes compared to his. God Loves Us Both enough to keep us alive to help others live.
mortimer says
It is an obscenity that aid money intended for humanitarian purposes is used as an incentive for suicide mission against Israeli civilians.

Anjuli Pandavar says
This is a very important move, a critical move. But it must not be seen as an end in itself, but rather as a starting point. Tactically, it is a good move; strategically, it is not. As it stands, it is a response *within* the pay-for-slay paradigm. In other words, firstly, it is a no-brainer for the terrorist regimes of Hamas and the PA to put human faces to “Zionist oppression”, named families, etc. and to double down to support them even more, boosting their “resistance” credentials, and secondly, this response has to be turned into an initiative. Take the response upstream. Whose bank account does the money go into? Which bank holds the account? Which bank clears the transfer? Which bank holds the account that received the money? Whose account does the money come out of? Hit them all the way up the line with the aim of making transactions through such banks prohibitively expensive.
The Qur’anic verse that underpins pay-for-slay is 9:111, “Indeed, Allah has *purchased* from the believers their lives and their properties, for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they *slay and are slain*,” (my emphasis). Strategically, the terrorist regimes will not be able to make capital out of the Israeli responses if the *purchase* is targeted, rather than the *slay and are slain*. Here is an example of what works: https://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Israeli-terror-victims-file-massive-NIS-20-billion-suit-against-Arab-Bank-612645 It makes no reference to the jihad terrorists who carried out the murders.
A further advantage of targeting the banks that process the pay-for-slay payments is that such banks are then identified for possible international actions such as sanctions. Banks that cannot function offer no human tragedy that can be exploited, and human tragedy has been the “Palestinians'” most lucrative resource, exploited to the max, right from even before Israel’s re-establishment in 1948. The regimes in the surrounding Arab states, as well as the UN, are all party to this exploitation of human tragedy for propaganda capital.
Infidel says
Israel should end the policy of giving the Palis any money. Enough is enough: let them create their own currency, and then see whether their Arab/Muslim brothers would accept them as legal tender. Let them print as much of it as they like, and trade w/ countries like Turkey, Qatar, Sudan, Somalia, et al, if they’re remotely interested in economic development.
somehistory says
The only question is: Why did they wait so long? Payments should never have been allowed.
There is a law in the U.S….don’t remember when it took effect…that says criminals cannot profit from their crimes, such as by writing a book about what they did and making money from it.
There is an old saying, “Crime does not pay.” This should be the rule everywhere.

Hamas gets the money from “foreign aid”–mostly foolish Westerners hoping to improve things like education and infrastructure.

Israel is self-destructive. It is full of the leftist scum. These payments shouldn’t have been done in the first place. If anything can destroy Israel it will be the left poison inside the country.
