Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Jordan: Muslim stabs eight people — six tourists, a guide, and a security officer — at popular tourism site

Jan 27, 2020 4:00 pm By Robert Spencer

Islamic jihadis in Muslim countries hate tourists, who are often visiting sites of jahiliyya, the pre-Islamic society of unbelievers. And if they’re visiting Muslim sites, they’re trampling them down under their Infidel feet. Either way, they’re not welcome.

“Jordan Charges Stabbing Attack Suspect with Terrorism,” Asharq Al-Awsat, January 26, 2020:

A Jordanian court on Sunday leveled terrorism charges against a man suspected of wounding eight people in a November knife attack at the popular Jerash tourist site.

The suspect, Moustafa Abourouis, 22, faces up to 20 years in prison after the stabbing of three Mexicans, a Swiss woman, a Jordanian tour guide and a security officer.

At a hearing open to the press, prosecutors accused Abourouis of committing a “terrorist act” and “promoting the ideas of a terrorist group” — a reference to the ISIS group.

Abourouis, who is of Palestinian origins and grew up in the refugee camp of Souf, was arrested immediately after the attack at Jerash, close to the camp and around 50 kilometers (30 miles) north of Amman.

The Jordanian prosecutor accused Abourouis of trying to join ISIS, an operative of which in Syria had “ordered him to commit attacks against foreigners”.

Two alleged accomplices, also Jordanians of Palestinian origin, were charged with “terrorism” in the same case. All three pleaded not guilty, reported AFP….

    ………………..

I feel for the victims, but why do foolish Infidels continue to visit Dar-al–Islam? This is never safe.

I have this reaction to this “why do foolish infidels continue to visit…” (name your favorite Islamic holy site).

I don’t believe any thinking person would ever say you – “why would foolish muslims continue to visit The Vatican or The Sistene Chapel or The Church of the Holy Sepulchre – as they should expect to be murdered or knifed or machette’d by faithful Christians. Right? That would be insane and completely unacceptable. In fact – it’s unfathomable. The world of Christianity would NEVER accept that from happening and would wholesale decry such a practice.

Yet – there are places in this earth that non-muslims should fear being able to go because they are non muslims and will be murdered? That’s ludicrous.

        “That’s ludicrous.”

Not so ludicrous for two reasons: 1) starving the Islamic world of revenue is a good thing, all part of a containment doctrine first applied during the Cold War to another totalitarian ideology, Marxism, and surely quite fitting now considering that Islam is the longest-lived totalitarian ideology of all time; and 2) play the damn odds and thereafter proceed accordingly, which should include NEVER visiting a Muslim nation unless absolutely necessary—yeah, play these odds while definitely not overlooking reason #1.

Your turn, if you care. Give it a shot.

Wellington–with the greatest respect–I believe you have misread Chris D’s post. I think he was saying that the state of affairs where non-Muslims are in danger when they visit Dar-al-Islam is ludicrous–*not* that Infidels eschewing visiting there is ludicrous.

        Jan 27, 2020 at 6:48 pm

You are correct, gravenimage. My error. I focused on the last two words, “That’s ludicrous,” and assumed, wrongly, that Chris D was making an excuse for the world’s worst religion.

Thank you for correcting my mistake and my apologies to Chris D for making it.

Agreed, gravenimage. No non-Muslim, except for clearly necessary reasons, should travel to a Muslim country, certainly not “mere” tourists. Economically, I say, suffocate ALL Islamic nations.

But specifically addressing your “foolish Infidels” comment, the damn trouble is that there remains in the West a huge number of them, those who have no idea what Islam intends for us all (this would include, sad to say, the vast majority of people I know, whether relatives, friends, acquaintances, et al.).

Islam is a mortal enemy of great and good things like freedom, equality under the law, women’s rights, etc. But this is still not generally realized and thus tending to prove my contention that the human species as a whole is a moral idiot. 1.6 billion Muslims only confirms this contention all the more, followed in its tracks by all the silly non-Muslims who are still too damn lazy (or for whatever indefensible reason) to effing figure out the innate heinousness of Islam.

Time for a Yuengling Porter, which both the Islamic world, and many obsequious dhimmis aplenty not wanting to insult Mo’s warped creed, would deny me if only they could. To date, they can’t. Hence and verily, I’m about to “pop a cold one.”

Hope you are doing well while the world surely is not. My God, what an aggregate fool our species is.

All too true, Wellington. Both my mother-in-law and one of my English cousins traveled to Egypt at various times–my mother-in-law to see archaeological sites a year or so after the Luxor massacre, and my cousin and her husband got caught up in the “Arab Spring” mayhem while trying to take a romantic cruise down the Nile to celebrate their anniversary. Luckily, these naifs all came out safe–but it is was more dumb luck than anything else.

Right with you graven…..WHY??? Not only is it foolish it’s plain stupid on the part of infidels. Whether They believe it or NOT..they are supporting the terrorist because in SOME WAY SOME MONRY spent by tourist will eventually filter down to terrorist.
STOP VISITING ANY Muslim countries…There ‘s enough of our dollars being just given to them and also Americans who work and live there are contributing also so why should tourist want to help the bad guys???..Anyway, during their rampage, ISIS destroyed many tourist sites.

I really wish we could take the idea of depriving islamic countries of income one step further…..And not buy ANYTHING from an Islamic country.
I don’t know what the US imports from Islamic countries but is there anything that they make that we NEED and can’t get somewhere else?

Let Dar al Islam be a nice insular and isolated entity and do whatever they want to themselves. And they w
Iodate have to be contaminated by anything from Dar al Harb.

But Islam wouldn’t stand for this ….because it’s commanded in the Koran that Allah gave the world to moslems and they are told to go out and spread Islam so that every country is an Islamic country and every person a Moslem ( or if moslems feel generous , offered the Dhimmi contract so moslems can live off the jizya )
Islam would find some way to push their ideology onto us..
They aren’t going to stop unless WE stop them .
And I’m hoping and praying that this day comes…when we get fed up and the American people respond to Islam as we should have responded from the very beginning!

Three Mexicans were among the tourists stabbed.

Mexico is rich in archeological and natural and historical wonders. Stay home, Mexicans. Go to Teotihuacan. See the Temple of the Sun. Go further south to see Olmec ruins. Visit Puebla, and then Tlaxcalantongo to see where Venustiano Carranza was killed. Go to Aljibes and search for the gold spirited away from the Mexician Treasury by the same Carranza in 1920. Go to Veracruz. Go to fifty other sites, each more wonderful than the next. Why in god’s name go to Jordan?

And if you want to visit the Middle East, stick with Israel.

Yes… if your a Christian, go do the tunnel tour which empties out into the arab quarter, and the street of your Jesus. And although evangelical Christians get away with proselytizing there, there is no hate and or criminal attacking against them, like there is in all muslim nations, just for being alive.

Well Hugh, the reason so many people from Mexico go see these places is that many tours that cater to devout Catholics also add in things like Petra and Giza and the Sinai peninsula that have other archeological or Biblical significance. There are tours arranged for various Christian groups from a variety of countries.

Regarding Mexico, when visiting some of these Aztec and Mayan cultural/archeological sites, visitors should remember that these cultures vivisected and ate the victims of their pagan worship systems. Can we think of any current religions that glorify butchering living victims, and even eating the heart and liver?

      • Battle says

        Jan 28, 2020 at 5:46 am

Sorry. When did the Aztecs eat the hearts and livers? Sources please?

        • Just Venting says

          Jan 28, 2020 at 6:16 am

You can do a web search and find stuff from National Geographic to Natural History, various reports of various studies. Very controversial, but the skeletal remains under a number of temples show that the meat was scraped off the bones. The eye witness reports of the early Spaniards have been considered fanciful, but unfortunately, the archeology indicates that certain groups did indeed eat their subjects. But then, you do not need to take my word for it. Try going to a natural history museum that has a focus on the history of the peoples of the Americas. I did not make this up.

There are many reputable sources, Battle. Here is one:

“Human Sacrifice: Why the Aztecs Practiced This Gory Ritual”

In addition to slicing out the hearts of victims and spilling their blood on temple altars, the Aztecs likely also practiced a form of ritual cannibalism.

A Canadian tourist was killed in that Jihad terror attack.

When my son announced his wedding date to take place during the ISIS horrors in the Middle East, I made him promise not to go to an Islamic country for his honeymoon, I was so concerned about attacks on infidels.
He promised me they wouldn’t go and to my horror they booked to go to Mexico instead!!
I had to bite my tongue because my naïve son had no idea of the crime rate in Mexico and had done as I asked by not having his honeymoon in an Islamic country.
I discovered they were staying in a hotel in an armed complex (did that not give them a clue?) and was very relieved. They never came to any harm.
why do I self disclose? Because there are so many like my son who have no idea of the harm which can come to them in an Islamic country. Any warnings are considered as being dramatic.
In this case in Jordan, the clue comes from the party being allocated a security officer.
Any country which requires its tourists to be given security guards, is not worth visiting. The sites can be seen on the internet

There’s no way the terrorist murderer, or his accomplices, will do their full sentence in a Jordanian prison. Popular sentiment will see them quietly released after a few years. It would’ve been far better if they’d been exterminated at the scene.
