Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

UK: Labour attacks Johnson adviser for wanting to forge “special relationship” with anti-migration Hungarian PM

Jan 9, 2020 9:00 am By Christine Douglass-Williams

“A senior Downing Street adviser in the run-up to the election was accused by Labour on Monday night of making ‘despicable’ comments after he said Boris Johnson wanted to forge a ‘special relationship’ with Viktor Orban, Hungary’s authoritarian prime minister.”

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is a highly useful ally and deserves praise from other Western leaders. Of course the complaint about him comes from the Labour party, the leader of which, Jeremy Corbyn, is an antisemite who glorifies jihad terror.

Orban has protected his country from the jihad and the disastrous conditions seen across the EU stemming from vast, unvetted Muslim migration. His government has also poured millions of dollars into helping the forgotten persecuted Christians in the Middle East, particularly in Syria and Iraq. What offends globalists and Islamic supremacists is Orban’s consistent view that “Europe can only be saved if she returns to her Christian identity.” Yet even the Dalai Lama agrees!

“Boris Johnson adviser under fire for praise of Hungary’s Viktor Orban,” by George Parker, Financial Times, January 6, 2020:

A senior Downing Street adviser in the run-up to the election was accused by Labour on Monday night of making “despicable” comments after he said Boris Johnson wanted to forge a “special relationship” with Viktor Orban, Hungary’s authoritarian prime minister.

Tim Montgomerie, Mr Johnson’s social justice adviser until last month’s election, praised Hungary’s “interesting early thinking” on “the limits of liberalism” and suggested the two prime ministers shared a populist agenda.

Mr Orban has been criticised by other EU leaders for undermining his country’s courts and media and for criticising minorities. He has referred to “Muslim invaders”, called migrants “poison” and been accused of anti-Semitism.

But Mr Montgomerie, a former journalist brought into Downing Street in September, suggested Mr Orban was tapping into the same popular mood identified by Mr Johnson, Donald Trump and Brexit party leader Nigel Farage.

BuzzFeed News uncovered the remarks in a video of the event posted by the Danube Institute, the think-tank that hosted the event on December 17.

“Budapest and Hungary have been home, I think, for an awful lot of interesting early thinking on the limits of liberalism,” Mr Montgomerie said at an event in Budapest last month.

“I think it’s still consistent with traditional conservatism, I think we’re still the party that believes in the individual, but it’s a greater idea of individualism.

“It’s an idea of the individual where the individual prospers with good public services, strong family, strong community, a nation that sees them as the priority rather than perhaps an immigrant from abroad.”

Mr Montgomerie said that Mr Orban and his rightwing Fidesz party “have stated that the nation matters and that globalisation is often a threat to that”.

He added: “Why are people voting for Boris and Viktor and Nigel [Farage] and Donald? Those questions aren’t asked enough. And so whatever populism is, it isn’t really about any of the people on the stage, it is about long-term trends in economics and culture that are changing how people align themselves.”….

Boris Johnson not only knows about the mood of the electorate, but he knows Islam and it’s dangers. The British Leftards are as ignorant as swans about Islamic supremacism and they couldn’t care less about what ordinary Britons think.

Tim Montgomerie has summed up the problem, namely, that globalization is a threat to the concept of a nation, of family and of culture. Globalization means a bland, international sameness and interchangeability controlled by a smug elite of commissars and billionaire capitalists who decide how the people will live and think and impose their will on them through propaganda, close-circuit TV surveillance and enhanced police powers to stifle speech.

Mr. Orban is not so much ‘anti-immigration’ as respectful of his own people and culture. I’m not sure what or who the UK Labour Party respects, but it is certainly the last group on the planet with any right to accuse anyone else of being ‘despicable’.

Hungary does not have a great record in the area of immigration or in the treatment of its minorities. Tough for it to claim the moral high ground.

Depends on how you define ‘great record’. If you mean an easy entry for anyone who wants in, the of course they don’t, and that’s the very reason Orban was elected!

The history is too lengthy to go into here but you may wish to read up on the Austria-Hungary Empire and how their minority groups were treated.. Few European countries have much, if any, experience with immigration until very recently.

I was just thinking about Viktor Orban, while you’re going back to the Hapsburgs. That’s like comparing Ukraine’s government to the Soviet Union’s, since both governments ruled Ukraine.

Not really. Not if the treatment of minorities and immigrants hasn’t changed in that time.

How *dare* anyone want to protect their people from Jihad terror? Bad dhimmis!

Maybe because certain minorities (mainly the ‘religion of peace’) are a threat to society. NO MO, NO PROBLEM.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is correct in his views regarding muslim migration.

Not a single muslim should be allowed into the country .

He should also ban Jeremy Corbyn – as well as other members of the UK Labour party.

Members of the Labour party are vile self loathing leftist hypocrites. Of course anything or anyone who move against the interests of non British people or immigrants in general, and mainly those who are non white and wish to harm us, are condemned by these loathsome lefties. I’m just glad that the majority of the British people have now come to their senses and recognised what they are truly like and have voted them into the electorial wilderness for decades to come.

Nevertheless, in heavily non white populated areas of Britain, they still have managed to win some seats, so we unfortunately still have to listen to their anti British bile on a regular basis, but I guess it has it’s entertainment value and provides a good laugh every now and again to listen to their ‘out of touch with the people’ load of dribble!
