Burkina Faso: Muslims murder 24 Christians in attack on church worship service

Feb 18, 2020 11:00 am By Robert Spencer

There is an ongoing genocide of Christians in Africa. The world yawns.

“BREAKING: Church Attack Kills 24 In Burkina Faso,” by Stefan J. Bos, BosNewsLife, February 18, 2020:

OUAGADOUGOU, BURKINA FASO (BosNewsLife)–Suspected Islamic gunmen interrupted a weekly worship service at a Protestant church in northern Burkina Faso, killing 24 people, authorities confirmed late Monday, February 17. Another 18 people were wounded in Sunday’s attack rocking Pansy town in Yagha province, the regional governor said.

“The armed terrorists attacked the peaceful local population, after having identified them and separated them from non-residents,” added the governor, Colonel Salfo Kaboré. “The provisional toll is 24 killed, including the pastor … 18 wounded and
individuals who were kidnapped,” Kaboré added in published remarks.

Authorities said some 20 attackers separated men from women close to the church in Pansy. The church building was burned down, and several people were yet to be accounted for, according to Christians familiar with the situation.

The gunmen reportedly also looted oil and rice from shops and forced the three youth they kidnapped to help transport it on their motorbikes. A resident of the nearby town of Sebba, whose name was not identified for security reasons, said Pansy villagers had fled there for safety.

It was the latest in an escalation of Islamic attacks against devoted Christians and moderate Muslims in the area in recent days. Last week, also in Yagha province, evangelical church leaders and several family members were killed, aid workers confirmed.

ISLAMIC MILITANTS

On February 10, suspected Islamic militants in Sebba seized seven people at the home of a pastor.

“In the early hours of February 11, the deacon of the Evangelical SIM Church, Lankoandé Babilibilé, was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen in Sebba…”, said well-informed advocacy group Open Doors. “His car was stolen and used to abduct Pastor Omar Tindano of the same church, along with two of Omar’s daughters, his son and two nephews. Yesterday, the news broke that Omar, his son, and his nephews had all been executed,” the group explained.

“His daughters were released, physically unharmed, on the same day,” Open Doors added. All five bodies have been recovered, local authorities said.

Lankoandé helped establish the first churches in the Sebba region, while Omar was the president of the Sebba region of the Evangelical Church denomination, Open Doors confirmed. Separately, shooters reportedly attacked an evangelical church in the eastern town of Nagnounbougou. At least two believers were killed in that attack, Christians said.

At the Vatican, Pope Francis expressed concern about the attacks. He urged prayers for the victims after making a similar request and appeal for interreligious dialogue in Burkina Faso in November, following an attack that killed or injured scores of people.

ALARMING RATE

Church observers and activists say attacks against civilians, including Christians, are increasing “at an alarming rate” in the West African nation

Open Doors said Burkina Faso is now ranking 28th on its annual World Watch List of 50 nations where it is most challenging to be a Christian….

You would get the impression that globalist elites are in favor of the extermination of Christians. They are silent about this latest attack on Christians.

Dozens of Christians are being killed by Muslims every day of the year. The globalist elitists say nothing about it.

However, when a shooting occurs in a mosque anywhere, their response is not silence. The globalist elites stop the world for days. When dozens of Christians are shot for being Christian, the globalist elites say nothing.

Globalist elites pontificate dogmatically that Islam is benign and that only a bigot would contradict that counterfactual meme. In fact, Islam has a teaching of warfare and supremacism against non-Muslims that is normative Islam, but the elites are too busy fighting Christianity to notice that … with the lone exception of Bill Maher.

Indeed, mortimer. The silence is deafening when Muslims kill Christians, all the more so when done in non-Western areas. This is both hypocritical and idiotic. Downright inhumane as well.

Globalist elites are not concerned about Christians at the moment Mortimer.
Especially those in the European Union,.. who are pre-occupied with fall out of the U.K leaving their Globalist racket,.. that they have been building for the last 45 years,..whilst flooding Europe with millions of illiterate free loaders. It warms the heart to see them not getting their own way for a change.

      mortimer,

I was very surprised to see a very short watered down article in today’s Wall Street Journal regarding the murder of 24 Christians in Burkina Faso.

Definitely not front page stuff in the mainstream media..

Yes–this is all too often ignored in the West. I have spoken with otherwise well-informed people who have no idea that the Jihad violence in Africa extends beyond Boko Haram.

I mostly dont believe in apologising for being a First Worlder of quote European close quote origin . Im making an exception for items like this and the parallel litany of Nigerian occurrences. We have the ability but not the inclination to make a difference.

Jesus Christ warned about this when He spoke to His disciples. He told all to “count the cost” as becoming a Christian might mean the loss of everything, including one’s life. He said that because He was “hated,” His disciples would also be hated. Being hated, a is something all Christians must face, nd facing death such as these people faced, is all a part of the “cost” of being Christian.

It is a heavy price to pay for wanting to be like Jesus, wanting to love as He loves and as His Father loves; and wanting to follow the ‘Golden Rule” of “Do to others as you wish to have done to you.”
“Blessed you are when people persecute you and lyingly say every wicked thing against you for my sake, for your reward is great in the Heavens.”

Such sad and terrible news, and each day seems to bring more and more accounts of atrocities by moslims against those who follow Christ. But, it is as He warned it would be, “until the conclusion of a system of things.”

Fulani Islamic Terrorism: The Fulani of Takrur adopted Islam in 1035’AD during the reign of King War Jabi, which introduced Sharia Law in the kingdom. Since then the heretic Fulani vomitted their filthy Sunni Islamic excrement via multiple Movements in the Zahiri School of Sunni Islam. The Fulani initially (1035’AD) followed the Ash’ari Movement which is shared with the Shafi’i School of Sunni Islam, then in 1324’AD the Fulani sultan Musa I Of Mali pilgrimaged to Mecca Saudi Arabia and adopted the Jihadi ideologies within both of the Zahiri & Hanbali Schools of Sunni Islam: the Ahl-i Hadith Movement and the Salafist Movement. Through centuries of Islamic Jihadi warfare, the heretic Fulani became more Hanbali than Zahiri in their Madhhab, and this century we see the Fulani using both the Salafist Movement and the Wahhabism Movement of the Hanbali School of Sunni Islam. Now today as the Al-Shabaab terrorist group utilizes Al-Qaeda’s dual Deobandi Movement & Salafist Movement together over in Somalia, the Islamic Fulani terrorist tribe utilizes the Islamic ‘ISIS’ State’s dual Wahhabism Movement & Salafist Movement together by joining the Boko Haram terrorist group in the Saleh of Africa. The Fulani are nothing more than Boko Haram terrrorist lapdogs, the disgusting Sunni Hanbali subhumans of the Saleh.
