Britain and Canada? Seriously? In 2011 a Jewish student in Paris asked me whether I think he should leave France because it isn’t safe in Paris anymore. He left and lives in NYC. The Democrats are entering a catharsis and after the debacle of choosing a Marxist Jew-hater who will lose against DJT, they will emerge cleansed from the Jew hatred. DJT is the biggest change agent in the US since Roosevelt. And FDR was not one for the better…

I watched the video, I ordered the book and read it and I can say this because my mother was part German Jewish and therefore I am part Jewish I suppose although our entire family for generations back was and still is Christian and I am a Catholic. I found Diane Bederman’s book to be filled with deep anger and paranoia – the paranoia of, “I am a Jew and the entire world is against me!”
Never in her one sided, very short book with several typos does she project the idea that it isn’t just Jews that evil kills. How about the Armenian genocide of 1920? Those people were Christians. Or the 6 million other people – Catholics mainly – killed in the concentration camps with the Jews in the very same way that the Jews were killed. The killing fields of Pol Pot? Mao? Those people were not Jewish.
Never does she mention in the Bible the hundreds of times God commanded the Jews themselves to be the killers to slaughter other people down to the very last man, woman and child. Babies even.
At the end of the book she demonstrates her very deep anger by defending herself for yelling at a man with whom she had gotten into an argument. She yells at him, calls him a racist in front of his daughter, says that he is evil (in front of his daughter) and tells his daughter not to listen to him. In other words, she herself demonstrates the very reason the man is anti-Semitic and probably will remain so after that experience. She says that Jews must raise their voices….but to yell at someone on the street isn’t a good solution.
Today’s anti-Semitism is the result of the ascendancy of Islam – with the Left’s blessing of course. Let’s look at statistics – how many Jews have been slaughtered in north Africa and the Middle East in the past 5-10 years as opposed to Christians? The answer of course is that there are not many Jews in those lands because they have all left – gone to America or Israel where they are safe. So the Christians are being slaughtered by Islam.
Evil must always have a victim to corrupt or kill. Sometimes it’s just who’s there…in the way stopping the progress of wickedness’ thirst to conquer the world for its master – Lucifer.
So, Diane Bederman – temper your own anger first, then on a less bitter level begin to right the wrongs against not only the Jews but all innocent people.

As a eyewitness, I saw this happening on campus in the early 1970’s. There was discussion in the media prior to this turn about how the American character sides with the underdog in anything. The leftists in the student union started to see the “Palestinians” as the underdog. Nevermind that the U.N. gave to land to Jews because the “Palestinians” had sided with Hitler, spoils of war and that. They decided that Israel was no longer the underdog (despite being grossly outnumbered – go figure.) That’s when I observed the turn and began to distance myself from them, finally leaving them all together in the 80’s. Nobody would listen to me. I am vindicated. Now it is painfully obvious to right thinking people.

Spot on, Larry.
I went through a similar “evolution”…

Larry–with all respect–this is not how Israel came to be. You can read Robert Spencer’s new book “The Palestinian Delusion” for a good overview.
But you are very much correct that it was after the 1967 war that people started to forget that little Israel is very much the underdog in the region–right around the time the “Palestinian people” were invented.
