Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Indiana: GOP chair and councilman apologize to Islamic Association for other councilman’s Islamocritical statements

Feb 24, 2020 12:00 pm By Robert Spencer

Here yet again, we see a local Republican Party demonstrating the cowardice that afflicts the party over all over the country. Jaime Bolser should not be allowing Hamas-linked CAIR and the establishment media to set the agenda. She should be prepared to explain how Stewart’s remarks were reasonable, as I did here. She should not be uncritically accepting Kasem’s claim below that criticism of Islam “can encourage bad things against the Islamic Center.” The Left and its Islamic supremacist allies routinely claim that critical words amount to violence, or lead to it, and hence must be suppressed. If that claim were consistently applied, Kasem couldn’t criticize Roger Stewart, because that would lead to violence against him. Indeed, no one could be critical of anything. But this argument only ever goes in one direction: Leftists claim that speech that dissents from their agenda leads to violence, never their own speech, and invertebrate Republicans such as Jaime Bolser obediently fall into line.

Another example of this stupidity played out a few months ago, when I spoke up in New Hampshire at the invitation of the Sullivan County Republican Party. New Hampshire State Representative Steven Smith, who became the top dog of the Sullivan County Republican Party shortly after I spoke, didn’t attend my presentation, and had no idea what I said, but when Democrats and the local establishment media began to raise a fuss, he apologized for my having been there anyway. Weasels and jellyfish of this ilk will be the end of our free republic.

“GOP chair, councilman offer personal apology to Islamic Association,” by Tyler Juranovich, Kokomo Tribune, February 20, 2020:

The head of the Howard County Republican Party offered a personal apology to the Islamic Association of Kokomo Wednesday for anti-Islamic Facebook posts one of the party’s council members shared.

Party Chairwoman Jaime Bolser said she spoke to Dr. Kasem Kasem, a member of the Islamic Association and a professor of chemistry at Indiana University Kokomo, and “offered an apology on behalf of our organization.”

“I also assured him these are not my beliefs nor the beliefs of the party,” she said. “I am humbled by his forgiveness. I look forward to meeting him and working with him in the near future.”

Kasem told the Tribune Wednesday he wanted “clear assurance” from the Republican Party and 4th District Councilman Roger Stewart that they do not tolerate the types of Facebook posts that have generated controversy and led to the resignation of Stewart’s predecessor, Greg Jones.

“When you have members of this party that keep saying these inflaming statements against Muslism and against our beliefs, it can encourage bad things against the Islamic Center,” Kasem said, referencing past vandalism incidents the center was victim of, including in 2016 when someone fired a bullet through the center’s window.

Late Wednesday, Stewart said he and Kasem have spoken. “We have set a meeting to begin the healing process in which I hope to have a continuing relationship with him and the Muslim community, working together so that we can help with opening a dialog for understanding for all those concerned,” said Stewart.

Stewart faced calls for his resignation Tuesday from the national Muslim civil rights organization Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) after anti-Muslim posts he shared on Facebook….

Kasem said he is not personally calling for Stewart to resign.

“We want to clear up any bad thinking about what we believe in and what we don’t,” Kasem said. “The United States is as much of my country as it is his country. … We are useful citizens. We are doctors, professors and engineers. We contribute to this community. What we believe in encourages us to do good in the communities that we live in.”

    Memo to Jaime Bolser:

Islam’s agenda, in the words of muslims themselves can be found at:

    “Islam’s Agenda: Muslims Speak”

“We want to clear up any bad thinking”, said Kasem Kasem.
That is a good way to clear it up.

What Muslims believe in encourages them to do good? That’s true only if you believe that constant warfare against Infidels is good. It’s true only if you believe that Muslims are the true masters of this world and that everyone who is not a Muslim is inferior and should either be killed or forced to live a life of constant humiliation. Some folks need to take the time to read not only what’s on Facebook but also to read what is in the Koran. It also contains inflaming statements and encourages bad things againt those who are not Muslims. When will Muslims be apologizing for that?

When Kasem says “GOOD” he speaks with a forked tongue … with KITMAN.

The Koran defines the meaning of the word “GOOD” (KHAYR in Arabic … sounds like CAIR … doesn’t it). KHAYR is defined by the Koran as a synonym of “ISLAM”.

To do “GOOD” for a Muslim means to PROMOTE ISLAM.

This is a perfect example of KITMAN (lying through ambiguity).

when one considers self to be superior, it is easy to grant “forgiveness” when it is advantageous to do so.

the allah god of islam [the best of all deceivers (3:54)] as well, cannot truly forgive, for it is not endowed with GRACE [the authority to forgive the undeserving].

Allah’s forgiveness is automatic for a jihadist who slaughters the disbelievers.

Jihad makes a Muslim superior to everyone.

The GOP ESTABLISHMENT in most Cities & Towns, seem to bend over backwards in City Council Meetings for Muslim “Guests”. In my City, a Muslim ran for the Council, was defeated & then went to the Mayor, who instantly placed him in an Appointed Position, where he “almost monitors the Council”. This is not an isolated incident, more & more Muslims, who want to gain entrance to our GOV, use the Good Graces of other Elected Officials to appoint them to a Position.
Muslims DO NOT accept Our Voting System, unless they are the Majority.

I remember watching a tiny blurb on TV when a journalist was interviewing a Feminist leader about her recent speech and commenting that its contents were illogical. The leader responded that logic was not relevant to the Feminist movement. This act of admission of truth never caught on in the Feminist movement.

PLAYING WORD GAMES !!! They are IN FAVOR of jihad or they are OPPOSED to jihad. So which is it?

As president of JihadWatch, Robert Spencer is JIHADO-CRITICAL. 90% of what Spencer speaks and writes about is JIHAD … how jihad is done … and the results of jihad mainly for Western societies. We should note that almost everything that Muslims do is directly or indirectly related to jihad.

If a person finds that JIHAD is a GOOD THING … a positive value to be admired, then we could call that person ‘JIHADO-PROMOTING’ or ‘JIHADO-POSITIVE’.

Are those politicians and organizers actually IN FAVOR OF JIHAD? In fact their silence is telling Muslim to ‘GO AHEAD WITH THE JIHAD … WE WON’T OBJECT … we’ll be silent as lambs.’

That will embolden the jihadists to use stronger measures … since there will be no resistance.

If in fact those politicians and organizers are NEGATIVE about JIHAD, then why do they not admit that? Expressing resistance to Islamic supremacism will send the message to jihadists that they will face determined opposition from defenders of freedom.

Why do our Western elites pretend that JIHAD is a POSITIVE THING that has only neutral repercussions for us? That is hypocritical. They know that that is not true.

They are playing word games with Muslims and the jihadists, but I imagine the jihadists know that.

Dr. Kasem Kasem lies by omission. So he and most Muslims have jobs in order to provide themselves and their families a high standard of living? Well, bully for them. This is not cause for a medal.

Does Kasem truly believe in and agree to defend the US constitution? Does he want to deny the freedom of expression to everyone who disagrees with him? That seems to be the case.

Free speech is the core value of the United States.

George Washington said, “If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”

Does Kasem defend the freedom of speech for those who criticize repressive teachings in Islam that contradict the rights of the US constitution?

It is clear that Kasem’s values are not as American as he deceptively wants others to think.

  13. mortimer says

    Feb 25, 2020 at 12:06 am

Wherever Dr. Kasem goes or is speaking, someone should bring the following quotes and ask him to “EXPLAIN” the correct meaning of the following AUTHENTIC comments about the PRACTICE OF ISLAM made by Islam’s leading authorities … do these quotes mean what they say?

    – from Sufi scholar Ahmad Sirhindi (1564-1624): “The honour of Islam lies in INSULTING kufr and kafirs. One who respects the kafirs dishonours the Muslims… The real purpose of levying jiziya on them is to HUMILIATE them to such an extent that they may not be able to dress well and to live in grandeur. They should constantly remain TERRIFIED and TREMBLING. It is intended to hold them under CONTEMPT and to uphold the honour and might of Islam.”

    – “The matter is clear on this issue. It is OBLIGATORY to DISASSOCIATE and absolve oneself from the disbelievers and their religion. The issue of al-Walaa wal-Baraa is from among the GREATEST obligations in Islaam.” (Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan, 2005, p. 308)

    – Obligation to Hate Kufaar: “With regard to matters of love and hate in the heart, the Muslims’ attitude towards non-Muslims is based on the latter’s attitude towards Allaah. If they worship Allaah and do not associate anything in worship with Him, then they love them. If they associate others in worship with Him, or disbelieve in Him, or worship others alongside Him, or are hostile towards His religion and hate the truth, then it is obligatory to hate them in our hearts.” – Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid

    – from ibn Taymiyya, “Book of Emaan”: “… true believers show ANIMOSITY and HATRED towards disbelievers and NEVER support them.”

-Imam Abdul-Latif ibn Abdur-Rahman Rahimullah said, “It is not possible for someone to realize Tawheed (Islamic faith) and act upon it, and yet not be HOSTILE against the mushrikeen (i.e. wrong worshippers). So anyone who isn’t HOSTILE against the mushrikeen, then it cannot be said that he acts upon Tawheed nor that he realizes it.” [ad-Durar as-Saniyyah 8/167]

-“The doctrine of al Walaa wal Baraa is the REAL IMAGE for the actual practice of this faith.” – source “Al Walaa wal Baraa According to the Aqeedah of the Salaf”, by Sheikh Muhammad Saeed al Qatani, authoritative Saudi Sharia lawyer and imam at the Abu Bakr and Al Furqan Mosques in Mecca.

… in conclusion … so much for Dr. Kasem’s claim that Muslims are supposed to do good to dirty kafirs.

She likely gave not a thought to the fact that she was disagreeing…and saying the entire “party” disagreed …with the statement that moslims should obey the laws like everyone else is expected to.
Getting re-elected and not being criticized for having a thought that might “offend” a moslim or a group of moslims.
But, oh how “offensive” to those who know…and have the moral courage to speak…the truth about islam.
It no longer matters that others, besides the moslims and their cohorts in corruption, may be “offended.”

Islamophobia is a Political Myth. Logically examined, it can’t exist.
By definition, a phobia is an IRRATIONAL or UNFOUNDED fear of something. Given the murderous actions of Muslim jihadists, the commands enshrined in the Quran to kill unbelievers*, bombings of innocents, trucks plowing through tourists, stabbings, acid attacks, concert shootings, and on and on, how could a rational person NOT have a well founded fear of Islam?

    *The Qur’an tells Muslims to kill and go to war to fight for Islam: Quran, chapters (Surahs) 9:5; 2:191; 2:193; 3:118; 4:75,76; 5:33, 8:12; 8:65; 9:73,123; 33:60-62.
